Anteris Technologies Global Corp. CEO Wayne Paterson joined Steve Darling from Proactive to provide an update on the company's progress during the first quarter of 2025, highlighting significant regulatory, clinical, and operational milestones following its successful $80 million initial public offering. A core focus of the quarter was the continued development of the company's DurAVR® transcatheter heart valve (THV), a first-in-class device designed for patients with severe aortic stenosis. Approximately $20.8 million of the IPO proceeds have been allocated to advancing DurAVR®, including funding for the pivotal PARADIGM clinical trial and related manufacturing and regulatory initiatives. Paterson emphasized that the company successfully submitted its Investigational Device Exemption (IDE) application to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration during the quarter—marking a significant regulatory milestone that clears the path for Anteris to initiate its U.S.-based clinical trial program. “Reaching over 100 patients treated with DurAVR® is a critical clinical milestone,” Paterson noted. “We are bringing a new class of valve technology to a space that hasn't seen true innovation in decades.” To support this expansion, Anteris has scaled its clinical field team, manufacturing, and quality operations, tripling its operational capacity in 2024. These enhancements position the company to manage increased clinical activity and meet regulatory demands as the PARADIGM Trial ramps up. Pending FDA approval of its IDE application, Anteris expects to commence the PARADIGM Trial in Q3 2025—a pivotal step toward broader commercial adoption of DurAVR®. #proactiveinvestors #anteristechnologiesglobalcorp #asx #avr #nasdaq #avr #DurAVR #TAVR #MedicalDevices #CardiologyInnovation #ClinicalTrials #StructuralHeart #FDAApproval #HeartValve #MedTechUpdates

Now that the dust has settled from our 2022 recap, it's time for the boys to dive headfirst into the new year with a smattering of genre- and quality-varied records. This week's episode features a major black metal release and a funeral doom record from a friend of the show, but first up- an appetizer. Noisy Neighors' debut full-length truly blasts from stereo speakers with a ripping half hour of traditional yet tightly coiled grindcore- an easy recommendation for all lovers of d-beats and death growls. Six years after the release of the divisive "Stella Polaris," Goatmoon has returned with "What Once Was... Shall Be Again," a release that suggests a return to Goatmoon's core sound of stomping, punk- and folk-infused Finnblack. The band doesn't disappoint in its return to the traditional Goatmoon form, but how does this shake out after such a long departure from the style? TBMG and TDMG tease out the subtle structural differences between this and Goatmoon's classic works, attempting to answer a crucial question: what, exactly, will be Goatmoon's legacy? Should the jangly stomp of Goatmoon raise your spirits too much, The Howling Void is here to crush them once again. The funeral doom project of Ryan from Pneuma Hagion, Intestinal Disgorge, and many others, THV's newest record points to a minimal yet multifaceted take on the traditional style. Early Skepticism is brushed with the symphonic backing and scope of Summoning, and further by a haunting veil of mournful folk melody. It may be a new year, but it's still winter, and The Howling Void reminds the listener that it always comes back again. 0:00:00 - Intro 0:05:56 - Noisy Neighbors - Derailing the Hype Train (Grand Vomit Productions) 0:22:22 - Goatmoon - What Once Was… Shall Be Again (Werewolf Records) 1:23:19 - Interlude - The Offspring - “Elders” fr. The Offspring (Nemesis Records, 1989) 1:25:30 - The Howling Void - Into Darkness Ever More Profound (Funere) 2:23:18 - Outro - Catacombs - “At the Edge of the Abyss” fr. What a shocker, there's an anti-gay pastor who recently came out as a homosexual. Not only that, he ran a conversion therapy camp. Just an FYI, there are a lot of sh*tty people in this world. Moving on, we talk about some of the recent comments on THV 11's facebook page. Only the best of the best comment on their articles. Finally we talk about Kroger's requested ban on open carry and how Bear Grylls is a hack. Thanks for tuning in and listening. We appreciate the support we've been getting lately. Make sure to hit us up on Facebook where we livestream every Thursday. We've got our tentative topics listed to the side and if you chime in on the chat, you get to choose what we discuss. We'll see you there. Cheers!

The Community Health Model Village is also known as the Total Health Village or the ‘THV-50-40-10(R)’. This model of healthcare looks at not only providing healthcare for those who are sick, but focuses a great deal on prevention of disease (through focus on water, sanitation, vaccination, deworming) and also on holistic well being (food security, livelihood security, education and skill building). The strategy involves modern participatory techniques for carrying out needs assessment, gap analysis, and intervention planning. Development is facilitated through the community’s own resource persons and geared towards empowering the community to solve most of their own problems. The model goes way beyond integrated development to address both the empirical and spiritual needs of the community through balanced holistic development.
MAP’s ministry is grounded in a broad vision and understanding of health. MAP’s guiding principles state that among the many human needs, it is called to focus on the ministry of Total Health. Total health doesn’t describe the state of someone’s health but rather the ways that individuals, families and communities can take responsible action to improve their well-being. Self empowerment and holism are therefore important dimensions of the THV50-40-10®.The THV50-40-10®program is a ‘Low input, high-impact strategy for achieving the Millennium Development Goals’. It is a cost effective community development strategy that leads to Total Well being; a way to impact a whole village of close to a thousand people through a facilitative and low input cost strategy .It is a completely Participatory strategy where communities identify needs, analyze their situation, plan a response strategy, actively work with the CORP (Community’s Own Resource Persons) and ENGAGE actively in solving their own problems. The session will cover the principles, practices and strategies for launching THV-50-40-10® (Total Health Village)
