Leading into WWF Unforgiven 1999 and the WWF Championship 6 Pack Challenge, Triple H has crossed the boss Mr. McMahon. Because of this, Triple H must wrestle 5 times tonight in different stipulation matches. He has to win 3 out of 5 of them or he doesn't go to WWF Unforgiven. The first match is a Chokeslam Match against The Big Show. Followed by an Inferno Match against Kane. Next, A Casket Match vs The Undertaker. Up next, a Boiler Room Brawl with Mankind. 24 hours after WWF Unforgiven 1998 and Stone Cold Steve Austin is still WWF Champion. Dude Love is a little perplexed about how things went down at the Pay Per View and we learn a little more about Foley's relationship with Mr. McMahon. D-Generation X decide to visit the Norfolk Scope and try to invade WCW Nitro. Nitro gets split into 2 parts this week due to the NBA Playoffs. On the first show Bret Hart says he won't reveal why he helped Hollywood Hogan win the World Championship until he's face to face with the Hulkster; in the second show, Bret Hart and Hollywood Hogan close the show with a promo.

Sorry for the late podcasts this month!! I have been focusing all my energy on my career pivot/entrepreneurial pursuits and was travelling last week to boot. Nevertheless, today Chris and I are going to do a watch-along for the main event of 1998 WWF PPV Unforgiven. This match is a CLASSIC!! Steve Austin in his first title defence as WWF Heavyweight Champion vs Dude Love, with Vince McMahon lurking on the outside of the ring. Great stuff here.
On the show this week we check out the inaugural WWF Unforgiven show, complete with the first ever Inferno (and evening gown) Match as well as dissect the Monday Night Raw that followed it. It is quite memorable as it's the show where the DX Army try to invade WCW Nitro, that was being held a mere 15 minutes down the road from the arena. We also have a ton of Micro Brawlers added to the PC, and talk all about the current events that are happening around the wrestling landscape. Thanks to each and every one of you for the support! Enjoy!
It's the dawn of a new era in the World Wrestling Federation with the first Pay Per View since Steve Austin won the World Championship in March and defends his title against Mick Foley in the main event. If that wasn't enough, The Undertaker and his brother Kane clash once again in the first ever Inferno Match where the winner has to set their opponent on fire!
On week 138 we have the main event on WWF Unforgiven 98 which is Stone Cold defending his title against Dude Love. The next night on RAW we have Stone Cold defending against Goldust. Due to technical difficulties, there is no WCW match in this episode, that match was Luger, Sting, and Giant vs. Konnan, Bryan Adams and Scott Steiner. Not to worry, it was a stinker! Watch it with us!
Graps and Claps Audio delves back into 2001 for WWF Unforgiven 2001 with Andy & Chris Wilson. As we chat about the show, Grimsby, WWE Tour, Kronik, Busted eyes, Test & Steph reuniting and more!! @oggypart3 @thrillson @grapsandclaps
I wouldn't call this one a "classic," but it was definitely a much better than average show that hardly ever gets talked about. Rob Van Dam and Chris Jericho tear it up for the Hardcore Title, Shane McMahon & Booker T fight to take the WCW Title away from The Rock, there's some 4-team mayhem for the WWF Tag Titles, and Stone Cold defends his WWF Title in the main event against Kurt Angle. The Invasion is still going on here as The Alliance is being led into battle by Stone Cold with only the Olympic gold medalist standing in his way. Oh, and they're in Angle's hometown of Pittsburgh. Also, if you need a bit of a laugh, KroniK looks like they forgot how to wrestle as they take on The Brothers of Destruction for the WCW Tag Titles. We're in WCW country for WWF's first post-Mania PPV showing! With the dirtiest player in the game apparently circling the building in his limousine, we're treated to a bit of a mixed bag. Stone Cold Steve Austin's first official title defence headlines against his former tag team partner Dude Love with Mr McMahon looking on intently. The New Age Outlaws matchup against LOD 2000, Triple H and Owen Hart go at it again for the European title, this time with Chyna suspended above the ring in a cage. The Undertaker and Kane take their brotherly feud to extreme levels as they face off in WWF's first ever Inferno match plus much, much more. Follow the Outlaws on instagram at https://www.instagram.com/outlawspod/
Triple H is the current WWF Champion in 1999 as we look back at WWF SmackDown heading into WWF Unforgiven 1999. Vince McMahon said yeah, we are gonna have to change that up real quick pal. The referees are also on strike in the WWF as everyone keeps bumping them for no reason & they are SICK of it. Nick Gage faces Chris Jericho in a deathmatch at AEW Fight For The Fallen where Nick Gage slices open Jericho with a pizza cutter & they even get light tubes! The boys bring back the Q&A and get questions like what accessories their action figures would have. You read the title, and you probably thought "Hmm, I guess this is the show where Kurt Angle won the title, but what else happened?". Admittedly, I had the same thought before watching this show, but there turned out to be a TON of noteworthy stuff that occurred at Unforgiven 2001. Edge and Christian have their first match against each other in their breakup feud, Stephanie McMahon tries to have intercourse with RVD, and the infamous Kronik vs Undertaker and Kane match unfolds. There's good, there's bad, and there's ugly on this show, but it's a fun journey either way. Dave from the "RA Era Podcast" joins me on this journey!
