Welcome to the BUNDESLIGA SEASON FINALE Episode of the Always Bayern Chelsea show! Yep, it's already match-day 34 in Germany and Bayern Munich put up a dominant showing winning 4-0 over Hoffenheim despite taking a couple days to vacation in Ibiza. Thomas Muller received an emotional sendoff for his final Bundesliga match. Vincent Kompany's first season was a domestic success, finishing up with 82 points, 13 points ahead of Xabi Alonso's Bayer Leverkusen. Subscribe to the Always Bayern Chelsea YouTube channel for the incoming full season breakdown, Jim's Chelsea updates, and to join the community of football fans! Danny kicks this episode off by breaking down Bayern Munich's 4-0 win over Hoffenheim in full. He provides details on Vincent Kompany's lineup, tactics, player performances, match highlights, and even match awards (sort of). The match started off slow with Hoffenheim clearly just trying not to get blown out. Michael Olise opened up the floodgates by scoring a sublime free kick. He then assisted Joshua Kimmich to double the Bavarians lead. Harry Kane came on in the 60th minute to score and assist Serge Gnabry's goal. Sacha Boey assisted for Kane's. We saw Thomas Muller exit a Bundesliga match for the final time with a standing ovation from both the home and away fans. Finally, Danny spends some more time reminiscing on the Bundesliga season as a whole, it wasn't perfect, but it was overall very good. Vincent Kompany and co. did what they set out to do this year and bring the Meisterschale back to Munich. We spend some time looking at what's next with the Club World Cup next month. Then, we talk about some upcoming transfer news and contract discussions regarding Florian Wirtz, Jonathan Tah, and Leroy Sane. Finally, we talk some more about the storied career of Thomas Muller. Subscribe to the Always Bayern Chelsea YouTube channel to join this community and partake in the full season celebrations & festivities. Danny kicks this episode off with an official match review of Bayern's 2-0 win over Gladbach. While this game was essentially a formality, it held much more significance as it was the legendary Thomas Muller's final match in the Allianz Arena as well as the official the trophy presentation/celebration. Danny breaks down Vincent Kompany's lineup, tactics, match highlights, player performances, and yes eventually match awards. The match itself wasn't exactly a blockbuster showing but we saw Harry Kane and Michael Olise score some sweet goals provided by Michael Olise and Leroy Sane assists. The match also saw Manuel Neuer's spectacular return with an absolutely vintage performance from the GOAT goalkeeper. We spend a large portion of this episode breaking down the 2024/2025 Bundesliga campaign as a whole, Bayern Munich was the best and most consistent team all season in Vincent Kompany's first season as coach. Welcome to the Always Bayern Chelsea show. ONE MORE WIN is all it will take for Bayern Munich to win the Bundesliga this season after beating Mainz 05 by a convincing score of 3-0. Chelsea also beat Everton 1-0 in an important English Premiere League match. Subscribe to the Always Bayern Chelsea YouTube channel to join the community and stay tuned with how the season shapes up. We kick this episode off by discussing Chelsea's big time EPL 1-0 win over Everton. It wasn't the most interesting match but a win is a win at this crucial point in the season. We break down Enzo Maresca's prematch comments, his lineup/tactics, match highlights, and player performances. Nicolas Jackson scored the lone goal of the match and was assisted by Enzo Fernandez. Chelsea was setup a bit differently in this match and we talk about what they should look like going forward for the remainder of the season. We break down Chelsea's remaining EPL and Conference League matches and what we're looking for out of them. Next up is Bayern Munich beating Mainz 05 in the Bundesliga 3-0. It was an overall great performance from the Bavarians but a win for Bayer Leverkusen over FC Augsburg means that the league will not be decided today. Bayern Munich needs one more win in their remaining three matches to clinch the league title. This could happen as early as next week away at RB Leipzig. We take a look at today's match by talking about both teams under Bo Henriksen and Vincent Kompany so far this season, lineups, tactics, match highlights, and player performances. Leroy Sane, Michael Olise, and Eric Dier scored for Bayern Munich with Olise and Konrad Laimer picking up assists. The dark stain on an otherwise great day was a wrongly award yellow card to Harry Kane. This being Kane's 5th yellow card of the season (and no reset rule like other leagues have) means that Kane will miss next weeks potentially title clinching matchup with a suspension. We talk about how special Jonas Urbig has been so far filling in for an injured Manuel Neuer with another clean sheet and we talk in more detail how players like Dier, Laimer, and Olise have really stepped up in key moments this season. Finally, this match was special was it saw the league debut for Jonah Kusi-Asare as well as Thomas Muller's 500th Bundesliga appearance. Recorded shortly after Bayern Munich's elimination from the Champions League, Danny takes to the mic with his break down and reaction. Subscribe to the Always Bayern Chelsea YouTube channel to check out all of our video episodes and stay up to date with the latest coverage of everything Bayern Munich and Chelsea football club. This one stings. Bayern Munich traveled to Milan and put up a valiant effort at San Siro, only to come up short with a 2-2 draw. This means that they have been defeated 4-3 on aggregate over two legs to Inter Milan and will not be advancing to the UCL semifinals against Hansi Flick's Barcelona. Their dreams of UCL glory at home in the Allianz Arena for Thomas Muller's final season with the club have been shattered. Danny does a deep dive into the match and tries to figure out where things went wrong. He looks at the events leading up to the match, key injuries, Muller not starting last week, missed chances, foolish concessions, and overall fatigue. He breaks down Vincent Kompany's starting lineup, tactics, all of the match highlights, individual player performances, and hands out match awards. Danny tries to process all of the raw emotions from the match. Harry Kane scored the opening goal of the match assisted by Leon Goretzka and Eric Dier scored Bayern's final goal, assisted by Serge Gnabry. Danny passionately defends Harry Kane from the hate he wrongly receives even after showing up big once again in the UCL knockout match for Bayern Munich. He even talks about expectations and how head coach Vincent Kompany is handling the season so far as a whole. There's still a Bundesliga title to be won and Bayern Munich is already back in action on Saturday against Heidenheim. Stay tuned for full match coverage and more. This episode truly has it all. We kick things off with a brief overview of Chelsea beating Legia. We talk about some of Enzo Maresca's tactics, lineup choices, player performances, and of course match highlights. Some influential sub choices were made as Noni Madueke scored a brace, along with Tyrique George getting a goal and Jadon Sancho providing two assists. Chelsea returns to Stamford Bridge for the second leg of this Conference League tie on Thursday 4/17. It may be Conference League or bust for Chelsea this season. Later in the episode we also hit on Chelsea's 2-2 draw against Ipswich town after going down 0-2 to start the match. Jadon Sancho was the hero with a goal assisted by goal Palmer after an own goal by Ipswich. We discuss lineups, tactics, player performances, match highlights, and the state of the team at the moment, as well as Chelsea's future this season. Is Enzo to blame for their struggles? Which players are at fault? Chelsea now has an Easter matchup with Fulham on 4/20 in the EPL. This episode also includes a full breakdown of the rollercoaster Der Klasskier between Bayern and Dortmund this weekend as well. We hit on Thomas Muller's lights out performance in his final Der Klassiker with Bayern providing an assist along with Josip Stanisic. Raphael Guerreiro and Serge Gnabry got the goals for Bayern. We saw another match where the Bavarians failed to capitalize on their chances before collapsing defensively. It wasn't total frustration though, we review Vincent Kompany's lineup/tactics, as well as player performances, match highlights, and match awards. Bayern Munich has a lot on their plates heading to Italy to face off with Inter Milan in a do or die Champions League Quarterfinal. We preview that match and what needs to happen to secure a comeback win as the Bavarians head in down 1-2. We also talk Bundesliga where Bayern remains 6 points ahead of Bayer Leverkusen in the table with 5 match days remaining. We're hoping Bayern doesn't join the list of choking teams we support as they head to Heidenheim on 4/19. Subscribe to the YouTube channel to stay updated! Thanks for listening/watching. Welcome to the Always Bayern Chelsea show for Episode 75. We're back at it talking about the weekend's domestic matches in the English Premiere League and the Bundesliga with another VIDEO episode for ya. And be sure to head over to the Always Bayern Chelsea YouTube channel to subscribe over there. Join this blossoming community, be here for the subscriber giveaways and for all of the incoming coverage as the season heats up We kick things off by breaking down the crazy 125th anniversary stinker that Bayern Munich put up losing to VfL Bochum 2-3 in a rollercoaster Bundesliga match that had a little bit of everything. We review Vincent Kompany's lineup, tactics, player performances, and all of the match highlights. The starting XI entirely consisted of Bayern's bench players as Kompany finally embraced rotation in order to rest the starters for the upcoming knock out Champions League matches. Bayer started the match great with a pair of goals from Raphael Guerreiro, assisted by Serge Gnabry and Thomas Muller. However, things took a turn for the worst with a missed penalty by Serge Gnabry and a red card from Joao Palhinha taking Bayern down to 10 men. Bochum then scored three unanswered goals and won the match. We attempt to hand out empty match awards before previewing the second leg of Bayern Munich's round of 16 UCL tie with Bayer Leverkusen. We offer up predictions for the big match and close out this Bayern section by providing a quick update on the Joshua Kimmich contract situation. Finally some good news as we break down Chelsea's 1-0 win over Leicester City in the English Premiere League. We discuss Enzo Maresca's lineup, coaching tactics, the match highlights, and individual player performances. The lone goal of the match was scored by Marc Cucurella and was assisted by Enzo Fernandez. After looking at Chelsea's style of play as of late, we dive deeper into Chelsea's future and upcoming matches to preview what's in store and offer some predictions. Chelsea now sits at 4th place in the EPL table with the return leg against Copenhagen in the UEFA conference league coming up as well as Arsenal on the EPL on the horizon. This win turned out to not be enough to send Bayern Munich into the top 8 automatically advancing to the next round of the tournament. Bayern finished 12th and will now have to play a two leg playoff against either Manchester City or Celtic to see who will advance in the UCL. Danny breaks down this match including Vincent Kompany's lineup, coaching tactics, all the match highlights, individual player performances, and hands out match awards. Thomas Muller opened up the scoring assisted by Joshua Kimmich before Harry Kane scored his header assisted by Jamal Musiala, and Kingsley Coman got a goal off of a rebound from Serge Gnabry's shot. He breaks down why it's worrisome and why fans may need to lower their expectations in the UCL. He divides the blame up amongst Kompany, the players, and even the board trying to figure out what's going wrong. Hello Rank Squad!Champions League Takeaway returns, as we take a look at the games that saw the first four teams book their spots in the quarter finals of the UCL. We start with Wednesday's action, looking at Real Madrid's 1-1 draw with Leipzig - discussing why Leipzig will see this is a massive opportunity missed, how Real Madrid got away with one without anyone in the box, and a look at the big name midfield struggling with dynamism with Fede Valverde out wide; as well as City's 3-1 win over Copenhagen - talking the depth of City's bench being absolutely outrageous, why Copenhagen should look back at this campaign with immense pride, and how this was in many ways the perfect game for City between two massive Premier League clashes. Then in Part Two, we take a look at Tuesday – looking at Bayern's 3-0 win over Lazio at the Allianz which included a whole heap of relief for Thomas Tuchel, a stark reminder of the lasting brilliance of Thomas Muller and Harry Kane, and why performances like this could end up leaving Bayern as dark horses; before finishing with a discussion of PSG's 2-1 win over Real Sociedad in San Sebastian - the tactical nous of Luis Enrique, why Anoeta more than deserved its goal at the end, and how Kylian Mbappé took the keys and went into fifth gear. It's Ranks! And remember, if you'd like more from the Rank Squad, including extra podcasts every Monday and Friday (including our weekly Postbox taking a look at the whole weekend of football) and access to our brilliant Discord community, then why not join us here on Patreon?

Bayern Munich is coming off of a somewhat of a crazy transfer window in the midst of a slew of injuries and while preparing to face-off with the always pesky Borussia Mönchengladbach. Needless to say, we have a TON to talk about. Let's take a look at what is top for this week's episode: What the Philadelphia Eagles taught us about “a win is a win” and why Bayern Munich needs to get it together. Why is Thomas Tuchel so averse to Jamal Musiala playing wing — even at a time where the club desperately needs him to? Examining the validity of my own crackpot theory about Musiala possibly refusing to play wing. Is there a primadonna blossoming under the radar? Taking a look at the other options: Thomas Muller, Mathys Tel, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, Bryan Zaragoza, and Alphonso Davies. Was bringing in Zaragoza now, a panic move? The acquisition of Sacha Boey and what it could mean for the future of Noussair Mazraoui. A deep dive in how divisive Tuchel has made things in the Bayern Munich fanbase. Thought on the last episode of True Detective.

Ah...the Winterpause is here, so Bayern Munich is on hiatus. Much like rust, however, the Weekend Warm-up Podcast never sleeps. Despite the break, there is still plenty to talk about when it comes to Bayern Munich and the German national team. So, let's get down to it! Here is what we have on tap for this week's episode: The most recent transfer rumors, including Joshua Kimmich to Manchester United or Manchester City...and how Matthijs de Ligt might also be on the chopping block. Should Real Madrid's Toni Kroos return to the German national team? Is this just another tinkering maneuver for Julian Nagelsmann to help quell his insatiable need to make change after change. What do the rumors about Kroos say about Nagelsmann's confidence in Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka? One final Germany note...İlkay Gündoğan as a No. 10 for Germany? Where does that leave Jamal Musiala, Florian Wirtz, and Thomas Muller?

So the Champions League draw has been finalized and Bayern Munich will face SS Lazio — a game that is a repeat of the 2021 Round of 16 tie that the Bavarians won under Hansi Flick. In other news, Bayern bounced back from the horrible 5-1 drubbing to Eintracht Frankfurt with a superlative 3-0 win over Stuttgart which really couldn't have gone better. In this episode, INNN and Chuck discuss the following: Why the Champions League draw seems to have generated so little buzz. A rundown of the various games and who is expected to go through. Is SS Lazio a scary opponent for this current Bayern Munich team? What is the current direction of Bayern Munich under Thomas Tuchel? The future of certain key players — will Thomas Muller, Aleksander Pavlovic, and Raphael Guerreiro find themselves getting more minutes in the future? The tug of war between the board and the players, with Joshua Kimmich at the center. Bundesliga or Champions League — which would you prefer? Chuck and INNN disagree. Compared to last week, Bayern Munich really gave us a lot to talk about this time round. Unfortunately, not a lot of it is good news. A 2-2 draw to RB Leipzig marks the third consecutive game where Thomas Tuchel has failed to win versus Marco Rose and his cans. In the meanwhile, the bosses have suddenly begun and almost finalized talks with Jerome Boateng, which is causing a variety of reactions from the fanbase. Meanwhile, Max Eberl was sacked by RBL and he's rumored to be on his way to Bayern, while there's also a game against Copenhagen in the Champions League this week. In this episode, INNN and Cyler discuss the following: Why does Thomas Tuchel seem incapable of beating the better teams that he faces? Understanding why Tuchel dislikes giving certain players like Thomas Muller, Noussair Mazraoui, and Matthijs de Ligt playing time. The entire problem with Tuchel's philosophy with the squad. An in-depth look at the controversy surrounding the Jerome Boateng transfer — why this move would be a complete travesty. Is Max Eberl the next board member at Bayern Munich? How might Christoph Freund and Eberl get along? A quick preview of the Champions League game versus Copenhagen and what we can expect. Meanwhile, the situation surrounding Benjamin Pavard continues to baffle fans and the media alike. A shorter episode today compared to previous ones. In this episode, INNN and Muller_Era discuss the following: A review of the performance versus FC Augsburg, including a rundown of how each player did. The excellent performances of Alphonso Davies, Dayot Upamecano, and Leroy Sane. Is Konrad Laimer in trouble after Goretzka's recent performances? Why is Harry Kane struggling to get the ball in this system? The curious performance of Thomas Tuchel's slooooooow system. Why we won't talk about Thomas Muller. Why is Benjamin Pavard not facing backlash for missing training? Should Bayern Munich get a replacement for him, or keep him for one more season? What's Thomas Tuchel's role in all this?
