More news over the last week as the Columbus Blue Jackets came to terms on a couple deals. Forward Zac Rinaldo is in the fold for upcoming season on a one-year deal (750,000 AAV). The Jackets also inked a three-year entry-level deal for Stanislav Svozil $2,775,000 (925,000) AAV. Was this the worse hockey game that ever took place? The refs were bad. The TV camera placement was bad. The weather was bad. And the play was bad. Is there anything to actually take away from this game? The Arizona Coyotes' Zac Rinaldo was suspended six games for his sucker punch on Colorado Avalanche defenseman Samuel Girard. Was this enough of a punishment? Rounding out the bad news for 2017, the Winnipeg Jets will be without Mark Scheifele for almost 2 months. Can they maintain they performance without him? Around the League/World - We’re struggling to care more about the WJC going on due in part to the lack of high-end Red Wings prospects. Also, the Zac Rinaldo suspension was really stupid too. Positivity Corner - A very much-needed corner of our broadcast. Reader Questions - Not as many questions for this one, but the quality was super-high. It’s like shots on net from the game the Blues toasted us 6-1. Looking Ahead - What do we think Detroit will do in their next batch of games?
