In this bonus edition of Andrew and Jerry Save the World, Andrew kicks things off with a recent radio interview featuring co-host Jerry Rogers. The two dive into key healthcare and policy issues, including why tariffs on pharmaceuticals won't raise prices in the short term, the importance of fixing the "pill penalty" embedded in the Inflation Reduction Act, and how Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs) continue to inflate drug costs. They also take on the growing push from some conservatives to restrict SNAP benefits in the name of nutrition—warning that it's a slippery slope toward surveillance and government overreach.Later in the episode, Andrew digs into the controversial Kilman-Abrego-Garcia case with guests Tim Head (Unified.US) and Will Chamberlain (Article III Project). They break down the facts, the legal realities of deportation policy, and whether Maryland Senator Chris Van Hollen may have violated the Logan Act in his advocacy abroad. It's a wide-ranging, punchy episode that delivers facts, context, and a healthy dose of common sense.

In this episode, Andrew Langer sits down with economist and American Action Forum President Doug Holtz-Eakin for a wide-ranging conversation on recent economic policy developments and their potential consequences. Holtz-Eakin expresses skepticism over the Biden Administration's latest trade and tariff policies—what some dubbed “Liberation Day”—arguing they amount to a $500–$600 billion tax increase with damaging implications for economic growth, inflation, and America's farming sector. The discussion pivots to regulatory policy, highlighting the staggering $1.8 trillion in regulatory costs added under President Biden, contrasted with the deregulatory success of the first Trump administration. Holtz-Eakin cautions against the current sequencing of economic policy—leading with tariffs instead of first tackling tax and regulatory reform—and emphasizes the importance of revisiting trade agreements to address unfair barriers facing American exporters, especially farmers. They also unpack recent moves to reduce the federal workforce. Holtz-Eakin critiques past approaches but supports the current plan empowering agency heads to make strategic, legally compliant cuts. He debunks myths about federal employment levels, noting they remain close to Reagan-era numbers, and argues that downsizing can be done responsibly—citing the Clinton-era example of 400,000 job reductions without major disruption. This is a must-listen for anyone interested in economic strategy, regulatory reform, and the inner workings of federal governance.

Kicking off with Andrew's recent appearance on Square Off, the duo deconstructs how legacy media's alarmism is fueling anxiety and depression across America—not Trump himself. They unpack the latest legal developments in the case of an illegal immigrant living in Maryland being deported to El Salvidor, reigniting the debate over immigration, due process, and the constitutional powers of government. Andrew recounts a spirited online exchange and uses it to explain why understanding the limits of government authority is more essential than ever.Jerry joins the conversation to celebrate his birthday and to share thoughts on Trump's strategic push to force judicial clarity on executive power, trade, and immigration. Together, they skewer media hyperbole (with a detour into the “Wheel of Trump” theory), dismantle Elizabeth Warren's conspiracy claims on tariffs, and reflect on why today's America is increasingly ill-equipped to handle crisis.

Hunter Biden is convicted of a series of felonies and the major media uses this as an opportunity to prop up the Bidens.  But this is but one example of the rope-a-dope being played against the American people.  Jerry tells a story about the collapse of the rule of law visiting upon his family in a very personal way.  This leads into a discussion of the two-tiered system of justice in America and the weaponization of the law for politics, and how the flowering of lawfare today had its seeds planted during the Obama years: Operation Choke Point, the harassment and prosecution of Chris Christie and his aides - and how that prosection laid the groundwork for using a financial services law (Sarbanes-Oxley) to go after J6 rioters (and those who were merely "Rioter adjacent").  Speaking of J6 - video has surfaced (finally) of Nancy Pelosi taking responsibility for the chaos on Capitol Hill on January 6, and this leads to a discussion of coups and insurrection, and the affirmative undermining of a presidency by people in the bureaucracy. And the Supreme Court rules, in another 9-0 decision, that the FDA's approval of an abortion drug can stand.  But this will not quell the left's lies about the court having an out-of-control ideological slant. Finally, Andrew talks about his high school reunion - and how the potentially well-meaning implementation of "diversity" policies and programs can lead to intense divisions in a community years later.

Like America.Andrew and Jerry break down what's going on on America's college campuses, talking about the origins of these crises, who is behind them in terms of their funding and coordination, and just what the future holds.  How the efforts to blame Trump for these crises ultimately underscore the role that Never Trumpers and those with Trump Derangement Syndrome have played in their eruption.  The double standards of the elite, and how a "rules for thee but not for me" mentality runs through the protests.  The element of LARPing (Live Action Roleplaying) that seems to also be an undercurrent, as Gen Zers take cues from Gen Xers who want to live up to their academic mentors' 1960s experiences.  Not just double standards for the elite, but how the Biden Administration's law enforcement apparatus seems focused on conservative "threats", but seems to be missing what's happening on these campuses and elsewhere. Then it's the Trump trials, and the legitimacy of handcuffind Donald Trump to a courtroom chair.  What this means for election 2024  - whether Biden will be the candidate, whether there will be a Trump/Biden debate, and what effect will RFK, Jr. actually have on the race.  What do the current polls mean - and what could shift them between now and November.Plus, a discussion of the economy, a new report on regulatory costs from the American Action Forum, and the contrasted record on regulations between Obama, Trump and Biden.

Ct.'s decision?  They talk about the substance of the decision, why it will be overturned, and then tie it into the twin-stories of Hunter Biden defying the lawful subpoena from Congress, coupled with President Biden making the affirmative decision to allow Hunter Biden to fly on Marine One from Delaware to the White House with him (and leaving his name off the passenger manifest).  This Colorado decision will only serve to fuel the discontent and division in America--and Hollywood has decided to pour gasoline on those feelings with A24's new film, "Civil War".All this and Christmas wishes from Andrew and Jerry Save The World!

They look at the 2024 presidential landscape, and wonder whether we will even have an election result this time next year.  Will the election ultimately be decided by the House of Representatives--and if it is up to Congress to decide, how do Democrats react?  They've spent nearly three years hounding those who even tangentially participated in the January 6th riots, but given their behavior throughout 2020--will their full-throated pushback against J6 participants be rendered meaningless.  Then Andrew and Jerry do some power rankings, and play a game of "who would you rather vote for?"And then they talk about what they're calling the "Ol' Switcheroo".  Will Joe Biden even be a candidate come election time next year, and if not Biden, then who?  What's the precedent here, when would it happen, and how would the Democrats go about changing out Joe Biden for someone else? This leads into a discussion of the latest indictment of Hunter Biden, and just what it means.  Is it a result of earnest investigation, or just a smokescreen, done to perpetuate the leftist narrative the Joe Biden has done nothing wrong?Plus, Baltimore's buildings are crumbling.  We know the reason why, and you're going to be grossed out by it.

The Christmas season is upon us, but the craziness doesn't abate.  Andrew and Jerry start with the story of a city council meeting in Oakland, CA and the hatred and misinformation that ensued.  They explore the history of anti-semitism on the left, and the relationship between the evolution of DEI and the deepening of anti-semitic hate within the progressive movement. They then talk about the recent piece by a Maryland political science professor about polling and the economy--what does she miss in terms of Bidenomics and the Biden agenda. This leads into a discussion of the issues - the National Association of Manufacturers is out with a new report on the impact of regulations on the American economy (a $3 trillion cost!), and Andrew and Jerry tie this into the misquoting of Ronald Reagan by Education Secretary Miguel Cardonas.  But do the issues matter?  And does it matter who the Republican candidate in 2024 is - that regardless of whether or not Donald Trump is the nominee, will the election just be about Donald Trump?  How long will American politics be all about Donald Trump - and what sets the modern era apart from, say, the post-Watergate era? Moreover, IF the election is going to be all about Donald Trump and Trump is the inevitable nominee, should Republicans just embrace that fact, lean into it, and work to defeat Joe Biden? Finally, with the holiday season opening up, what songs kick off Christmastime for Andrew and Jerry?  And Andrew asks the question, did Covid kill going to the movies forever?

We are exactly one year out from the 2024 presidential elections, and Andrew & Jerry break it all down for you.  The third GOP Candidates debate was last night, and we talk about who won, who lost, and whether or not things were at all better with only five candidates on the stage.  What happens when you wait until after the debate to watch highlights?  Do you come away with a different impression once the emotions of the moment give away? Should a candidate who doesn't come to a debate allowed to proceed on a ballot? Then they talk about Election 2023, and what happened in Virginia, New Jersey, Kentucky and elsewhere.  Are the prevailing narratives right about a Democrat wave in this off-cycle election?  What were the bright spots, if any? Should Democrats be concerned about how their election performance plays into the 2024 Presidential and Congressional elections?  Andrew makes a prediction of what the 2024 election will be about, and Jerry talks about the use of "MAGA" as a smear, and how Republicans should change it.  Is there a way to separate Donald Trump from "MAGA"?  Abortion was an overarching issue in 2023--what can Republicans and the pro-life movement learn about how the issue played across the country?  And will Joe Biden be the Democrat's 2024 nominee?  If not, who WILL it be?  And if it's not Kamala Harris, is that a problem for the Democrats?

In the two weeks since our last Episode, the planet has edged closer to another World War, with Hamas attacking Israel and the Middle East coming close to exploding as a result. Andrew and Jerry sit down to dispel myths about the history of the conflict between Israel and the so-called "Palestinians" (and they explain why they refer to "Palestinians as "so-called" and put "Palestinians" in quotes). They also explore why anti-zionism really IS just a thin veil over old-fashioned anti-semitism, and how this anti-semitism infects so many aspects of society - not just in the Unites States but around the world.  How does intersectionality fit into all this?  What has uncontrolled mass-migration in Europe wrought, and what should the US learn from it?  Why is our media complicit in all this, and just what is happening on our college campuses?Plus, as of the recording of this show, we still don't have a new Speaker in the US House of Representatives. Are we in an era that is "post-Adult"?  What should Rep. Jim Jordan do, and who, ultimately, WILL be Speaker (and when)?

Speaker McCarthy is OUT, and Andrew and Jerry have a deep discussion as to why. Is there really chaos in Congress--and if there is, is there anything new about it?  What kind of Speaker was McCarthy?  What did he accomplish, if anything?  What did Matt Gaetz and the 7 Republicans who joined him accomplish, if anything?  They discuss the hypocrisies in all this, and whether chaos is an essential element of Democracy.  What does this all mean for electoral politics down the road (and did this have anything to do with the averting of the shut down that led to McCarthy's ouster?)?  A member of Congress pulls a fire alarm as the negotiations to avoid a shut down were going on... what should happen to him (if anything)?  And we had another Presidential debate last week - Andrew and Jerry share their thoughts over last week's debate, and the value of these mass debates overall.
