The Rich Zeoli Show- Hour 3: 5:05pm- Phil Kerpen—President of American Commitment—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to discuss the 2017 Trump tax cuts which will expire at the end of the year. Kerpen explains it is urgent the House and Senate agree on language to make those cuts permanent, especially with the economic uncertainty surrounding the Trump Administration's reciprocal tariffs. 5:30pm- While appearing on Fox News Sunday with Shannon Bream, U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi said there is a “constitutional crisis”—pointing out that “since January 20th, we've had over 170 lawsuits filed against” the Trump Administration. Notably, Chief Justice John Roberts temporarily blocked a district court order demanding the return of a man the Trump Administration sent to an El Salvadorian prison. Meanwhile, New York Attorney General Letitia James told a crowd that she will use the law as a “sword” to go after President Donald Trump. Weekday afternoons on Talk Radio 1210 WPHT, Rich Zeoli gives the expert analysis and humorous take that we need in this crazy political climate. Along with Executive Producer Matt DeSantis and Justin Otero, the Zeoli show is the next generation of talk radio and you can be a part of it weekday afternoons 3-7pm.
The Rich Zeoli Show- Full Show (04/07/2025): 3:05pm- In response to the Trump Administration's reciprocal tariff, the S&P 500 fell nearly 1% on Monday—and is now down 14% over the last three days of trading. It has lost more than $5 trillion in value since the beginning of last week. Meanwhile, the Dow Jones Industrial Average has declined by more than 20% from its recent high, entering correction territory. 3:30pm- On Monday, President Donald Trump met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the Oval Office. During the meeting Trump answered numerous questions from the press—many regarding tariffs and the U.S. economy. Netanyahu pledged to eliminate the trade deficit between the U.S. and Israel and reduce tariffs on U.S. imports to 0%. 3:50pm- China has vowed to place an additional 34% tariff on U.S. imported goods—matching the tariffs the Trump Administration announced against Chinese-made products. In a post to Truth Social, Trump warned that if China retaliates, he will impose an additional 50% tariff on their goods effective on April 9th. Trump continued: “Negotiations with other countries, which have also requested meetings, will begin taking place immediately.” 4:00pm- On Monday, President Donald Trump met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the Oval Office. Chief Justice John Roberts temporarily blocked a district court order demanding the return of a man the Trump Administration sent to an El Salvadorian prison. The deported man was in the U.S. illegally and, according to the administration, is a member of the gang MS-13. D'Agostino points out, however, that corporate media continually has continually referred to the deportee as “a Maryland father”—as if he had been randomly selected for removal! 5:05pm- Phil Kerpen—President of American Commitment—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to discuss the 2017 Trump tax cuts which will expire at the end of the year. Similarly, Vietnam has pledged to reduce its tariffs to zero—however, while appearing on CNBC's Squawk Box, White House Trade Advisor Peter Navarro said it was “a small first start” and insisted the nation must also end trade “cheating.” During the interview, Navarro specifically mentioned Chinese products routed through Vietnam to avoid paying additional fees. 6:10pm- In response to the Trump Administration's reciprocal tariffs and the stock market's reaction, Goldman Sachs is now placing the likelihood of a recession at 45%. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has do ...

Phil breaks down how government overspending and skyrocketing debt undermine children's future, creating an economy where they inherit financial instability, fewer opportunities, and a weakened nation. This conversation was recorded before the election, and while we're hopeful for positive policy changes with the Trump Administration, the reality is that national debt remains a critical issue no matter when you're tuning in. Understanding the long-term impact of debt will help you make informed, pro-child political choices moving forward. https://www.americancommitment.org Author Bio: Phil Kerpen is the president of American Commitment and the Committee to Unleash Prosperity.American Commitment is a 501(c)(4) advocacy group dedicated to restoring and protecting America's core commitment to free markets, economic growth, Constitutionally-limited government, property rights, and individual freedom. The Committee to Unleash Prosperity is a 501(c)(3) educational charity founded by supply-side icons Stephen Moore, Steve Forbes, and Art Laffer to promote faster economic growth through the key building blocks of low taxes, limited spending, less regulation, sound money, and free trade.Mr. Kerpen has previously served as vice president for policy at Americans for Prosperity and as an analyst and researcher for the Free Enterprise Fund, the Club for Growth, and the Cato Institute. Anna Orso, Max Marin, and Julia Terruso of The Philadelphia Inquirer report: “With some ballots still left to count, Harris was carrying the city with about 78% of the vote, compared with Trump's 20%. As of Thursday evening, she had a 412,000-vote advantage over Trump—if that holds, it would be the lowest margin for a Democratic presidential candidate in two decades. The rightward trend was reflected throughout the country, including in other big cities, and Trump improved on his 2020 performance in every state that had counted most of its votes. All told, Philadelphia was on pace to shift about 2 percentage points to the right. But turnout was roughly flat compared with 2020—lower than Democrats had hoped. The Rich Zeoli Show- Full Episode (10/10/2024): 3:05pm- TD Bank Pleads Guilty in Money-Laundering Case. Stacy Cowley, Matthew Goldenstein, and Rob Copeland of The New York Times write: “TD Bank agreed to pay about $3 billion in fines to U.S. authorities and pleaded guilty on Thursday to money-laundering-related charges in a case brought by federal prosecutors, who said the Canadian bank made it ‘convenient' for criminals to open accounts, transfer funds and even deposit seven-figure sums of cash at its branches. The combined penalties are the largest ever imposed by U.S. authorities on a bank for violating anti-money-laundering laws, and include an ‘asset cap' that prevents TD Bank from growing any bigger than its current size.” You can read the full article here: https://www.nytimes.com/2024/10/10/business/td-bank-fine.html 3:20pm- While speaking to the press in the aftermath of Hurricane Milton, President Joe Biden claimed that some Americans received “death penalties” as a result of disinformation on hurricanes spreading online. But who on earth has suggested that the hurricane wasn't real? The only thing the Biden Administration has specifically labeled as “disinformation” is the claim that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) used a portion of its funding to relocate undocumented migrants domestically—which did occur, according to FEMA's own website. But now, with less than a month to go until Election Day, they're increasingly worried about a number of issues plaguing the Democratic nominee's campaign…There's also concern on everything from the static poll numbers in the race to the vice president's messaging and even her standing with men—not just white men but Black and Hispanic men, too.” You can read the full article here: https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/4922690-democrats-nervous-kamala-harris-campaign/ 4:30pm- While speaking with Bill Whitaker of “60 Minutes,” Kamala Harris was asked about becoming the Democratic Party's presidential nominee without participating in the primary process.
