Grant Crenfeldt, Salus Aviation's Head of Operations, begins this AsianSky Cast episode by telling ASG's Jeffrey Lowe how his fascination with aviation began at three years old when he started building model aircraft, and how he still to this day builds radio-controlled aircraft. Grant then talks through why he recently joined Salus Aviation, explaining that the company's recent acquisitions is building the company into a one-stop shop offering nose to tail service and repairs, as well as helicopter and fixed wing sales, and flight training. Jeff then asks Grant to talk through the Salus footprint in New Zealand and the facilities in each of its location, as well as where the company sees opportunities for further expansion. Other topics discussed include whether being based in New Zealand is a hinderance because of its geographic location, and what the Salus Aviation definition of ‘nose to tail' is when it comes to maintenance services.Grant then talks through the partnership that Salus Aviation has with Air Methods, including how Salus will convert ex EMS helicopters into other roles ready to be sold on. Finally, Jeffrey asks Grant to speak about the future for Salus, and how the company has been affected by COVID-19.
Asian Sky Group's Jeffrey Lowe talks to Dassault Falcon Jet's Senior Vice President, Customer Service, Geoff Chick about how he began his career with crop dusting aircraft, moved to Canadian Airlines, before joining Dassault 14 years ago.The pair begin by talking about how Dassault's customer support has grown into being recognized as the top in the industry, and how the company has kept that top spot for several years. They then speak about Dassault's recent acquisitions of MRO companies, and how that will benefit Falcon owners in the future.Geoff talks through the benefits of using an OEM service centre, before talking though the plans that Dassault is putting in place for when the Falcon 6X enters service. As the closing subject, Jeffrey asks Geoff about how much of an impact COVID-19 has made to maintenance schedules.
In this Asian Skycast episode Jeffrey Lowe talks to Execujet Haite's General Manager Paul Desgrosseilliers, who first went to China to assist with managing the business jet traffic during the 2008 Beijing summer Olympic Games. They talk through how Paul went back to the US for a few months, before transferring with TAG to Beijing. They then talk about Paul joining Execujet Haite and moving to Tianjin, and the challenges of building up the infrastructure needed at Tainjin's airport.Paul talks about getting the engineering talent in place, and more importantly, retaining it within the company, saying that many of the team has been with the company since the beginning. Paul and Jeff then talk about the Tianjin facility, about how the company's reputation is growing, and how an announcement might come soon about further expansion at the airport.The conversation then moves onto the expansion of services, with Paul saying that the company will begin offering cabin refurbishment services, most likely in the second half of 2021.The conversation closes off with talk of infrastructure in China, as well as opportunities for more MROs, and FBOs.

They then talk about the three widebody aircraft in the Comlux charter fleet, with Rita talking in depth about the recent four-month upgrade program to its Boeing 767BBJ called SkyLady.Finally, Rita speaks about the Airbus ACJ220, of which Comlux is not only the first company that will complete an ACJ220 cabin interior, but is also the launch customer, with two aircraft on order.
