Core Nickel CEO Misty Urbatsch joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share exciting news about the company's latest achievements. Core Nickel has successfully completed its 2024 winter drill program at the Halfway Lake project, located in the Thompson Nickel Belt, Manitoba. This expansive project consists of 19 mineral claims licenses, covering a total area of 4,154 hectares. Urbatsch provided detailed insights into the drilling program, highlighting the significant progress made. The company drilled a total of 797.45 meters across three diamond drill holes during this inaugural drill campaign. Impressively, visual sulfide mineralization was intersected in all three drill holes, marking a successful start to the project. Among the highlights, drill holes HFW-001 and HFW-002 intersected ultramafic lithologies over significant lengths of 55.6 meters and 90.9 meters, respectively. Both drill holes exhibited disseminated sulfide mineralization throughout these intervals, indicating the presence of nickel-bearing sulfides. Additionally, drill hole HFW-003 intersected 7.7 meters of intermittent sulfide mineralization, which included 4.4 meters of continuous semi-massive to massive sulfide mineralization. Urbatsch expressed enthusiasm about these initial results, noting that the successful intersection of visual sulfide mineralization across all drill holes is a promising indicator of the project's potential. The findings from the 2024 winter drill program provide a solid foundation for future exploration and development at Halfway Lake. Core Nickel is committed to advancing the Halfway Lake project and will continue to build on these encouraging results. The company plans to conduct further drilling and geophysical surveys to better understand the extent and grade of the sulfide mineralization. These efforts will help delineate the mineral resources and guide the development of an effective extraction strategy. The Halfway Lake project's strategic location in the Thompson Nickel Belt, a region known for its rich nickel deposits, enhances its significance. This belt has historically produced substantial quantities of nickel, and the promising results from Core Nickel's drilling program suggest that Halfway Lake could contribute to the region's ongoing legacy of nickel production. #proactiveinvestors #corenickelcorp #cse #cnco #NickelMining, #ThompsonNickelBelt, #MiningExploration, #CanadianMining, #MelDeposit, #HalfwayLakeProject, #MineralSurvey, #VTMsurvey, #MiningNews, #ResourceExtraction, #HistoricalData, #MiningProjects, #Geology, #MineralExploration, #Nickel, #MiningUpdates, #NaturalResources, #MiningIndustry, #MineralDrilling #invest #investing #investment #investor #stockmarket #stocks #stock #stockmarketnews

Get ready to embark on an enchanting journey back to Ancient Greece on this special double-header episode of "History For Weirdos". This time around, we're diving deep into two enthralling and, at times, outright bizarre Greek myths: The captivating adventures of Theseus and the heartfelt, peculiar story of Baucis and Philemon. In the first half of the episode, we'll journey alongside Theseus, the legendary king of Athens, known for his heroics and bold ventures. Join us as we recount his daring challenges, from his fateful encounter with the monstrous Minotaur in the winding labyrinth of Crete to the intricate tasks he overcame in his quest to reclaim his father's throne. Packed with gripping tales of courage, wit, and maybe just a hint of hubris, Theseus's story is one you won't want to miss. But the tales of Ancient Greece aren't all about sword fights and monstrous beasts. Prepare to switch gears in the second half as we explore the poignant tale of Baucis and Philemon, a humble elderly couple who unknowingly entertained gods at their modest abode. Their story is a rich tapestry of humanity's kindness, divine intervention, and the eerie beauty of eternal love. Can hospitality and simple acts of kindness lead to divine gifts or even... immortality? You decide. - ✈️ Reserve your spot here for the HFW trip to Italy! - Thank you for listening Weirdos! Welcome to the first edition of a special series of Lloyd's List Podcasts examining how the war in Ukraine has had a lasting impact on different aspects of the shipping industry. In this first edition, we examine the rise of the dark fleet and look at why Russia's increasingly sophisticated sanctions evasion tactics present a lasting risk for the wider shipping industry. To listen to the full series go to: http://bit.ly/3KbnQpS The shipping industry has had to adapt rapidly since Vladimir Putin ordered his tanks across the Ukrainian frontier a year ago. Entire trade lanes have been re-routed, the most extensive set of sanctions in living memory has been hastily constructed and a super-charged ‘dark fleet' of opaque operations has sprung up, forcing shipping to navigate an increasingly complex risk and compliance landscape. In this special podcast series, Lloyd's List's editorial team are joined by a cast of industry experts as they examine the lasting implications of the war in Ukraine for shipping. Today's opening edition looks at the rise of the so-called ‘dark fleet' as one of the major side-effects of the war in Ukraine and concludes that Russia's sanctions-dodging is only getting more advanced. Lloyd's list Intelligence has been tracking the development of the dark fleet from the start and according to our latest analysis the size of the dark fleet has more than doubled in the past two years to now cover about 10% of global tankers trading internationally. In addition to safety implications of effectively removing such a large fleet from mainstream scrutiny in terms of class, insurance and reputable flag state oversight, there are longer term issues for shipping in terms of the complexity of the risk and compliance landscape that is rapidly evolving in the way of this rising subterfuge fleet. Featuring in today's edition: • Michelle Wiese Bockmann, Lloyd's List's markets editor and analyst walks us through the growing role that the so-called ‘dark fleet' is playing in shipping and why Russia's invasion of Ukraine has supercharged deceptive shipping practices. • Daniel Martin, a partner at the law firm HFW, offers his expert analysis of the evolving complexities related to sanctions risk that has sprung up in the wake of the war.

Mr Vallely also talks about the importance of not growing simply for the sake of growth, making strategic acquisitions, his role as Australian managing partner in overseeing such a strategy, the challenges he sees in successfully achieving the firm's goals, the opportunities to be grasped in order to ensure such success, and why he is motivated to move the firm forward.
