Sorry, I'll continue working on being more concise-but I am happy with the outcome. You do not need to watch it before listening to this podcast, I'm not spoiling much, this is mostly meant to be a recommendation episode. I do pull from a number of other sources, which I will list the links to here: 1. Youtuber Molly Burke's video "Why I hate being called Differently Abled" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0n8d9U5xRro&t=862s 2. "The Boy in the Plastic Bubble" (1976) Free on Amazon Prime (at the time of this post) 3. "Rainman" (1988) Free on Amazon Prime (free at the time of this post, but it wasn't free when I rented it...grrr) 4. Youtuber Jessica Kellgren-Fozard's Video "Autism Tropes in Media" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k7q2A3ic0-w 5. Hannah Gadsby's Comedy Special "Douglas" (2019-20) available on Netflix 6. "Love On The Spectrum" (2020) Netflix docu-series 7. I referenced that you could find the "where are they now" update on youtube. You can also find it via this article: https://www.digitalspy.com/tv/reality-tv/a33519624/love-on-the-spectrum-cast-now/ At the time of recording this, I had not seen this video, but I wish I had, because I would have LOVED to shout it out! The Aspie World is Dan's Youtube channel, where he makes youtube videos as someone on the Autism Spectrum, who also has OCD and ADHD. This video was great and I loved his review of Love on The Spectrum! I'm glad he liked it as much as I did.
