Join Sis and Big Pops for a fun, fun talk about one of the things we love most—Nerd Stuff. We discuss our fav bits of nerd news over the past couple of weeks: The Taylor Swift concert movie is winning the box office, and Netflix has a squid game reality show, plus a lot of new horror movies coming up, T-Swift might be in Dead Pool 3, and there's a new Fall Out TV-show coming out on Amazon Prime. Unfortunately, a class of 4th graders watched Winne the Pooh Blood and Honey, Nate Bargatze was on SNL, there's a 48th anniversary showing of Monty Python and the Holy Grail, and there are new Ted Lasso barbies. For bingeing, Big Pops has been watching a lot of sports, as well as Fixer upper, he watched Over the Garden Wall *twice,* Invasion and is reading Spawn. Sis watched the T-Swift Movie, Adventure Time, Dune, Memento, and is listening to the audio books, “The Power of Habit” and “Digital Minimalism.” Then, Pops shares his pull list! This week he introduces us to Batman Superman Worlds Issue 20 by DC; Iron Man Issue 11 by Marvel; as well as Space Usagi by Dark Horse Comics. His new number 1 is Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong by DC. With his Book of the Week being Issue 5 Click, Click Boom by Image. This week we review the cartoon Over The Garden Wall and the Image comic Rain. This episode was originally recorded on 10/24/23. Check us out on twitter @sisandbpops

Season's Greetings, spooky friends! It's time once again for our favorite season here on Christmas Creeps: HOME FOR THE HORRORDAYS! Joe's fiancée Nikki joins us this week to help us break down the Cartoon Network miniseries Over The Garden Wall. It's a show about two brothers lost in a creepy, antiquated netherworld called The Unknown, and has a very unique perspective on nostalgia, history, and the changing of the seasons. It's not really Christmasy, but it's perfectly in our wheelhouse and ripe for discussion. And discuss it we do, because on this episode we go deep into the hidden meanings and history behind some of the stranger things in this cartoon. We want to ease you into things this season.
