V romanu, s katerim je pred približno 40 leti poznejši norveški nobelovec tudi zaslovel, se nam Fosse razkriva kot dostojen naslednik Samuela Becketta, nemara največjega književnika druge polovice 20. stoletjaLjubitelji in ljubiteljice gledališča so imeli doslej že kar nekaj možnosti seznaniti se z ustvarjanjem predlanskega Nobelovega nagrajenca za književnost, norveškega pesnika, pisatelja in dramatika Jona Fosseja. Njegovo igro Noč poje pesmi svoje so, na primer, na odru Male Drame v Ljubljani uprizorili že pred več kot 20 leti. Potem so v sezoni 20/21 Fossejevo dramo Ime igrali v Slovenskem narodnem gledališču Nova Gorica, no, v Mestnem gledališču ljubljanskem pa si je prav ta čas moč ogledati predstavo Fossejeve Tukaj v temnem gozdu. Nekoliko drugače pa je s tistimi, ki, raje kakor da bi hodili v gledališče, ostajajo doma in berejo v naslanjaču. Doslej smo namreč v slovenščini imeli na voljo eno samo Fossejevo prozno delo – Melanholijo I, ki je v prevodu Jane Kocjan luč sveta ugledala leta 2011 pod založniškim okriljem mariborske Litere. Za tisto izdajo je po uredniški plati poskrbela Petra Vidali, no, ista urednica pa zdaj stoji za Čolnarno, drugim Fossejevim romanom, ki je – ponovno v prevodu Jane Kocjan, a tokrat pri drugi založbi, pri novomeški Gogi – pred nekaj tedni prišel na naše knjižne police. Čeprav se torej zdi, da prevajanje Fossejeve proze pri nas nekoliko zaostaja za uprizarjanjem Fossejevih dram, to seveda še ne pomeni, da Norvežanovo ustvarjanje razpada na dve samostojni, kvečjemu le ohlapno povezani polovici. Prav nasprotno; tisti, ki tako hodijo v gledališče kakor berejo v domačem naslanjaču, namreč pravijo, da imamo tu v resnici opravka z dvema stranem enega in istega kovanca. Zato smo se v tokratnem Sobotnem branju, ko smo pred mikrofonom gostili Petro Vidali, spraševali, kaj se pravzaprav pokaže, če Fossejeve drame postavimo ob bok Fossejevim romanom, še zlasti, seveda, čisto sveži Čolnarni? Solo il 6% delle imprese italiane oggi dichiara benefici tangibili dall'IA-riduzione dei costi o nuovi ricavi-su un campione di circa 250 aziende tra grandi e PMI. Dato modesto? Sì. Sorprendente? No. Parliamo di tecnologie generative discusse seriamente da appena due anni, in un contesto di hype che gonfia le aspettative e paralizza le decisioni. Eppure la domanda è brutale: possiamo davvero permetterci di aspettare che la "maturità" arrivi da sola?È stata questa la domanda di partenza della chiacchierata di questa settimana con Filipe Teixeira, CEO & founder di AltermAInd.Dalla conversazione emerge una tesi netta: il piede va messo subito, e non solo il piede. L'IA non è un "nuovo canale" come fu il web: cambia il rapporto uomo-macchina da deterministico a relazionale, introduce un "advisor" digitale che riscrive i processi. Tradotto per il board: sperimentare sì, ma in modo intenzionale, su problemi reali o opportunità concrete, con perimetri chiari e metriche sensate. L'alternativa è la FOMO, che costa e non rende: molti hanno già speso senza ritorni pur di "poter dire di farlo". Meglio pochi casi d'uso, bene selezionati, che un catalogo di demo. E no, non servono milioni: il costo d'uso è sceso negli ultimi due anni e continuerà a scendere.Il vero collo di bottiglia, però, non è la tecnologia: è la governance. Nelle organizzazioni manca una regia trasversale che tenga insieme IT, business e operations; il risultato è l'"e-shadowing": strumenti personali, spesso a pagamento, usati fuori dal perimetro aziendale. È una bomba a orologeria per sicurezza, compliance e qualità. Senza una governance a 360 gradi si rischia di risolvere i problemi sbagliati, perdere le opportunità giuste e ritrovarsi fuori mercato mentre un nuovo competitor, abilitato dall'IA, comprime i tempi di ingresso a 3-4 anni. Domanda per i C-level: chi, in azienda, è responsabile di disinnescare questo rischio sistemico?C'è poi l'Europa, con GDPR oggi e AI Act domani. La sfida non è solo adottare modelli, ma farlo in modo conforme "by design", per evitare di tornare indietro tra sei mesi con i processi già in produzione. Il messaggio operativo è chiaro: selezionare fornitori e soluzioni che offrano percorsi di conformità verificabili e aggiornabili, non promesse generiche. Nel frattempo, serve "observability" dell'IA: costi, qualità, rischio e controllo regolamentare tracciati con la stessa disciplina con cui si governa una filiera mission-critical.Ultimo, ma decisivo, il tema delle competenze. Prima ancora della formazione tecnica, serve consapevolezza: passiamo dal "programmare" al "configurare e validare" modelli. I leader devono saper interrogare l'IA, comprenderne limiti e bias, spiegare e validare gli output. Non è filosofia: è l'unica base per ripensare strategia e processi con lucidità, scegliendo dove mettere l'IA in produzione e dove no. E ricordiamolo: l'aspettativa dei clienti sta cambiando. Dopo l'era delle app guidate dai social, l'interazione si sposta verso interfacce conversazionali e vocali; clic e filtri lasciano spazio al dialogo naturale con la macchina. Siamo pronti a riscrivere la customer experience su questo paradigma?C'è un'ultima nota, scomoda ma necessaria: il rischio reputazionale. Un chatbot generativo non controllato può essere portato-volontariamente-su temi sensibili e "rompersi" in pubblico, producendo risposte inaccettabili. È già successo. Per questo la governance include guardrail tecnici (moderazione, policy, audit) e processi (approvazioni, monitoraggio) prima, durante e dopo il rilascio. L'IA è un abilitatore potente ma indifferente: amplifica valore o danno con la stessa efficienza. Saremo noi a decidere quale dei due.

The Oakland A's of the 70's were at their absolute best when it came to October baseball. They beat the Big Red Machine to win the 1972 World Series. They beat the Miracle Mets in '73 to win it again. And in 1974, they made it back-to-back-to-back when they disposed of the Dodgers in 5 games. Flooded with names like Catfish & Reggie, Blue Moon & Vida, Campy and Geno, they had talent and swagger and were the team to beat heading into the 1975 postseason. Playing centerfield for those World Series winning teams in '73 & '74 was speedster Billy North. Acquired by Charlie Finley from the Cubs prior to the 1973 season, North immediately fit in with the defending champs and his style of play was exactly what manager Dick Williams loved… speed and defense. North would lead the AL in stolen bases in 1974 and 1976 when he stole a career high 75 bags while playing a sterling centerfield. After missing the entire postseason in '73 when the Athletics repeated as Champs by beating Tom Seaver and the Mets in 7 games, North was looking forward to the '74 season and a chance to play in the playoffs. But on June 5th in Detroit, he and Reggie Jackson had an altercation that ended up with both of them injured as well as catcher Ray Fosse. It wasn't the first time the Swinging A's brawled with each other and it had very little effect on the team's play. Three months later they were back in the World Series for the 3rd straight year, with Fosse, Jackson and North all in the starting lineup. Despite having won the last two World Series titles, the A's were underdogs against the Dodgers who won 102 games in the National League and they didn't give the A's much respect going into their matchup. On the POP podcast, North tells us how he was called the “Paperboy” because he read all the newspapers and he told his teammates on the flight back from Baltimore after winning the ALCS that a Dodger player was quoted as saying that there were only two players on the A's that could play for the Dodgers… the champs didn't need more than that… 5 games later… they were champs again for the 3rd straight year. North tells us how he and Reggie put that incident behind them and remain friends to this day… and how that team 50 years later still gathers together. He talks of how Dusty Baker influenced his life and remains one of his best friends and how Dusty honored him at an All-Star game a couple of years ago… and he talks about the NorthLegacyProject.com that he helped start in honor of his mom to help kids with special needs. For a man who made a living stealing bags in his 20's, he now lives to give back in his 70's.  A 2-time champion of the only team in baseball history other than the Yankees to win 3 straight World Series Championships. She currently serves as President of the Board of Directors at Well Child Center, a community-based organization offering WIC, dental, and other social and health services in Elgin, IL. At 10 months old, Rob Rodriguez had his right leg amputated below-the-knee. A gifted athlete, Rob has been a member of the para-elite triathlon team and the amputee soccer team for Team USA. Inspired to push back against gendered ageism,  Stella Fosse  began writing vivid, sexy stories about older women inspired by an article by a 50-year-old romance writer in the New York Times that pushed her to challenge industry norms that favored younger characters.  Her involvement in a local writing series called "Dirty Old Women," where women over 50 read erotic stories to live audiences, further solidified her mission. Through her experiences in online dating in her 60s and meeting her partner at 62, Stella drew inspiration for her novels, including her first book, "Brilliant, Charming Bastard," and her later works centered on older women.  Stella Fosse spent many years as a technical writer in biotechnology, managing a demanding career while raising her four children. Upon retiring, she pursued her passion for storytelling. Ce contexte prépare l’entrée de David, figure du Messie à venir. Ce psaume trouve son plein accomplissement en Jésus-Christ, comme le souligne Hébreux 10 : il est le roi obéissant, le prêtre parfait qui s’offre lui-même en sacrifice, et le prophète qui proclame la justice de Dieu dans l’assemblée. Le Psaume 40 nous présente ainsi le Christ dans ses trois offices, à travers une dynamique de gloire et d’humiliation : - Comme roi, il règne par l’obéissance et conduit son peuple hors du gouffre vers le roc (v.1-3). - Comme prêtre, il offre son propre corps, accomplissant la volonté de Dieu à la place des sacrifices d’animaux (v.6-8). - Comme prophète, il proclame la justice et la vérité de Dieu devant la grande assemblée (v.9-10). Shannon began her career as a performer and has appeared in 10 Broadway musicals over a 25 year career. She is most known for her performance of “I Gotcha” in the Tony Award winning original Broadway cast of FOSSE. As a choreographer, Shannon has extensive experience creating for film and television as the choreographer of Saturday Night Live's Film Units, creating dances and movement for viral videos such as “I'm Just Pete”, “Gladiator Twosical”, “Shrimp Tower”, ”Big Boys” and many more. She has also choreographed multiple pre-taped and live projects for NBC's “The Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon and HBO's “Last Week Tonight” with John Oliver. Shannon is the Creative Director and Choreographer of the NBC/ Universal Upfront at Radio City Music Hall. She has also created, directed and choreographed many theatrical and dance projects at such respected venues as Carnegie Hall, Ballet Jazz Montreal, Roundabout Theatre Company, Signature Theatre NYC, Town Hall, Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival, Alvin Ailey Citicorp Theatre, Dreamworks, CLI, Dance Out Loud, NY Times Center, Bay Street Theatre, Bucks County Playhouse, Ogunquit Playhouse and The York Theatre Company.
