Georgeann explains how this episode is entitled Everyday Awakenings as she and Judi will be talking about spirituality in their everyday lives. Georgeann continues to discuss her new puppy, Simon, and how after she brought him home she reflected on her feelings of frustration and how this feeling is the same one her parents had felt raising her. Judi continues off of this, saying that the awareness of Georgeann's feelings and their origins is important in letting these negative feelings go. Judi discusses her childhood, and how each of her parents treated her heavily impacted her mental formation, as children have a limited view of the world. The two continue to discuss how vital one's childhood is to their mental formation, and how this is often an underlying factor in one's adult life. They continue to discuss God the creator and how even though we often feel abandoned by him, he never does abandon all of us. Georgeann brings up the collective consciousness, and how everything we do impacts the collective consciousness.Segment 2Georgeann and Judi discuss love, and how love is enduring regardless of how good the times are, with Georgeann bringing up a book she had read a long time ago that changed her perspective, the first line being “life is difficult”. Georgeann says that this is only kind of true, as if you look towards history that life is and has always been difficult, but it is not only difficult. Judi brings up her kids and how even though raising them was difficult, her children have been the biggest blessings in her life. Judi continues by saying that it's important to choose love, and one of our life's purposes is to eventually choose love. The two continue to discuss how old wounds from childhood impacts how we react to everyday things, and if we hang on to those old wounds we will only be able to react and not choose to live our lives. Judi discusses how we need to listen to our bodies to be able to move forward in life, and how some of these issues are based on past trauma.Segment 3Georgeann starts by discussing how all people are both light and dark, and that these are both within us, and throughout our lives we tend to lean into either of these. She continues by saying that often when someone leads their life through darkness it's not often a choice but rather a reaction to one's circumstances. Judi brings up the contrast between life and dark within our lives, and how this contrast is incredibly important. The two discuss how Georgeann was not raised Catholic, and she explains her journey towards Catholicism and the Lord. Judi explains her journey through Catholicism, and how she was raised Catholic, and how she also believes that there are “several ways home” even though she has great faith in God and her religion. Georgeann and Judi address the audience, and say to feel free to go to their websites and reach out to them, as they are interested in what people think of the show, and any feedback at all is welcomed.Segment 4Judi starts off by saying that it is important to find things in our life that bring us joy, and how we should find these things that bring us joy everyday, and that it doesn't have to be a grand complex thing. Georgeann and Judi continue discussing their childhood and how childhoods in general impact us far in the future. They speak specifically about parents scolding their children for their mistakes, and how a child internalizes these. Children never blame their parents for anything, and will only blame themselves. And being aware of this and that we are no longer children is important in our healing. The two discuss the threads that connect one generation to the next. The two end the episode with a prayer.

Sabine begins to describe her childhood in Haiti, and when she moved to the United States when she was four years old. Sabine describes how her mother moved to the United States a few years before her father and herself moved. She continues to describe how while she was younger, her parents didn't trust strangers, such as babysitters to take care of their children while they were at work, and because of this they left her in the care of family. She explains how even though her parents trusted her family, viewing it as a more safe option, even though this wasn't the case. Sabine continues to describe her journey through life, and how she had the image of success after college, even though she had a continuous personal struggle. She explains that she made the realization in her mid twenties that she didn't love herself, and then became consumed by negativity after that realization, and could not go an entire day without seeing only negativity.Segment 2 Sabine retells the story of the events that lead up to her plan to attempt suicide, and a last ditch effort discussion she had with God that caused her to decide to continue to live. She explains how for many years she went through the motions of believing in God, but never truly believed, but after that conversation she felt that “God wrapped his arms around [her]”. And, the next morning when she woke up she realized that God was real, God loved her and she had a purpose to live. Georgeann, Judi, and Sabine discuss what the feeling of God feels like. Judi brings up the point that God shows up to many people when they are at their lowest, and the three discuss why this may be the case. Sabine describes that surrendering herself to God was one of the most difficult hurdles in her relationship with God, and even having a relationship with God was difficult to her, as she had no human example of a healthy relationship to base her relationship with God on. Sabine describes her relationship with her mother, and how her mother treated her versus how she treated her brothers.Segment 3Sabine describes her definition of forgiveness, as well as her journey with those she has forgiven for her past. She explains how God allowed her to forgive her father first, and how even though he didn't do anything wrong per say, he was absent from many of the aspects of her life she had the expectation of him to be there. Sabine explains how she gained her power back from letting go of the power that the past had over her, and how forgiving those who negatively impacted her past lifted a weight off of her shoulders and gave her strength. Sabine explains how she forgives others. The three discuss having a relationship with God, and Sabine explains how it's a process, and believing in God is a process, and Georgeann suggests that everyone should read Genesis 41 from the Bible as it aligns with what Sabine has gone through in her life.Segment 4 Georgeann brings up how Sabine had to keep family secrets throughout her life, and how that is exhausting on Sabine and those who have to carry it. Sabine explains how the incest her grandmother experienced was rumored to her through bits in pieces throughout her childhood, and that became a full realization to her in her adult life while she was writing her book. She continues to explain she had another realization around the sexual abuse she experienced as a child, and how she realized she had told her mother about the situation, which is a memory she had blocked out. Sabine continues to explain what her purpose in life is, and how she is the chain breaker in her family, and breaks the cycles that have been plaguing her family. The three end the episode in prayer.

The great sages taught that the answers to healing, spiritual evolution, elevated consciousness, and living a happy and fulfilled life are inside of us. But how exactly do we tap into that? Our guest, Jonathan Goldman can answer these questions. As one of the first acupuncturist in the United States and with over four decades of working with energy medicine, Jonathan has mapped where emotions, beliefs, and spiritual qualities operate in the energetic layers within and around the human body. This has allowed him to create a very unique form of healing.Jonathan is the author of Gift of the Body: A Multi-Dimensional Guide to Energy, Anatomy, Grounded Spirituality and Living Through the Heart. He is the founder of the Essential Light Institute, which is dedicated to teaching self-transformation and energy healing through direct relationship with the living force of Light.Tune in for this philosophical conversation at TalkRadio.nyc or watch the Facebook Livestream by clicking here.Show NotesSegment 1Dr. G starts tonight's episode off reminding listeners about the show's mission and introducing tonight's guest, acupuncturist Jonathan Goldman. Judi reads a quote of Jonathan's and lists more of his qualifications. Jonathan talks about seeing the body as a gift rather than a prison, sharing his journey of healing, working through his pain. By accepting this pain, he found light and pleasure on the other side. This is when he realized there are layers to the body, and we are multidimensional beings. Jonathan discusses disidentification being the first step to healing. After disidentifying, we have choices of how to move forward and become, as Jonathan says, the commander of the vehicle. Pain is contraction, the universe expands and contracts, without pain, there is no pleasure. Suffering though, is the ignorance to confront or accept pain. He talks about a journey he had 12 years into his acupuncture career that opened his healing channel. He found weird things happening in his practice, with a feeling in his hands translating to healed patients without him doing much. He had a feeling of not knowing who he was anymore, this wasn't his feeling though, it was his patients. This started a process over the next 15 years, of him understanding the layers of the chakra. This led to him creating a chakra map. Jonathan describes chakras as the energies in the center of each layer of our being, with each one having a responsibility for one of the more important aspects of our lives.Segment 2Coming back from the break, Judi asks Jonathan to discuss his chakra map. He talks about grounding, connecting our energies to those of the earth, and how the energy moves through the chakras. He compares the second chakra to a perpetual two year old, describing how it does what it wants to do. In making us want to fit in, civilization often tries to restrict the second chakra, which often leads to depression. There are two sides to each chakra, the front and the back. The energy is stored in the back and released through the front. He moves on to discuss finding the restricted chakras in patients. He describes a restriction in the throat chakra, which speaks truth. Dr. G asks about whether an infant in the womb can be affected by the mother's chakras. Jonathan thinks this is definitely possible. He talks about cultivating gratitude, opening his throat chakra, making him more receptive to love and speak more truth.Segment 3Next they move on to the emotional bodies of the chakras. Each chakra has an emotional body, and they are meant to constantly be in movement. Jonathan describes the central qualities of some chakras and how they change depending on whether a chakra is expanding or contracting. He describes his process of healing, clearing energy out to find the source of the problem. He talks about the heart chakra and opening it in order to feel compassion. Compassion is a vibration of neutrality that allows everything. Empathy on the other hand links to those around you. While empathy can burn out, compassion cannot. Once open, we can more easily resonate through love. Resonance and magnetism are two laws of the universe, with magnetism pushing away likes and resonance attracting them. Jonathan talks about being a healer in order to participate in miracles. He moves on to discuss going through things in order to heal, providing an anecdote. In healing we need to commit at some point rather than resisting. Even after committing, we need to keep saying yes. Compassion tells us that we will heal and at our own pace.Segment 4Coming into the final segment Jonathan talks about light, and how it is real rather than a metaphor. It has nothing to do with religion or spiritual path, it is available to all of us. Reaching this light is done through prayer, meditation, and many other ways. As he mentioned before, we are supposed to feel pain, but even in contractions, there can still be light. Jonathan brings up a story of the Dalai Lama keeping his hands in front of his chest, where faith rests. Judi asks Jonathan to share resources where listeners can reach him or find his material. Judi asks Jonathan to discuss something he wrote about in his book, the longest four inches in the universe. This is the distance between the third chakra and the heart. He discusses what this distance means, and the differences between this chakra and the heart. He talks about us being invited or dragged through these four inches to live through the heart. Jonathan's takeaway for the audience is that you are much more magnificent than you see yourself to be. Dr. G asks Jonathan to end tonight's episode in prayer.

Nomi has been counseling, coaching, and training individuals for over 25 years. Nomi discusses her journey from acting to coaching. From a young age, her father told her to “stop being so dramatic”, but wouldn't be stopped. She talks about success in her acting school and career as a shy kid. She came to study in New York, but after a few years, she crashed. After going on audition after audition, she ended up going to therapy and shifting her focus. She discusses how her therapist shifted her view and helped her get into therapy. She moves on to the idea that there is this urge to liberate, one must feel their shackles in order to want to break them. We are taught to turn ourselves into what we feel we should, resisting the urge to look within and find who we are. The fear of rejection often holds us back. She helps artists use their expression to create a safe, vulnerable safe for them to explore their feelings. Many of her clients are shy and timid, but in expressing herself along with them, she helps shy clients to open up.Segment 2Coming back from the break, Nomi introduces the seven gates, or seven areas of our lives. Most of these gates are often blocked, as we each have a defensive structure. In her program, Nomi helps clients identify their defensive structures, emotional structures, and expanded structures of their being, helping to balance and heal each. The expanded self needs to lead, only once this self leads can the gates start to be identified and unblocked. This is an awakening to our God center that lives within. Dr. G discusses an anecdote of someone in her life seeking God around the world only to find she/he within. Nomi talks about guiding people to finding their expanded selves. Nomi discusses the gates, starting with the body. She talks about how our body mirrors our emotions. She shares tips for the audience in finding some of this tension and the sources of it.Segment 3Next Judi reads a quote of Nomi's, and Nomi discusses what it means and what it takes for us to accept love. This is a long journey and needs to be taken with the knowledge that there is no judgement, criticism, or right pace to move at. Nomi discusses feeling emotions, actually feeling them, rather than just thinking about them. By identifying where in the body the emotions are, they become possible to process and we can liberate our emotional self. She moves on to the gate of dialogue, discussing the difference between lust and love. Nomi describes lust as looking for something external, but love being internal and a reflection of the relationship between one and themself. After finding love within, we can see other people and show compassion. Judi discusses how most of us don't feel joy everyday and Nomi relates this to the emotional self, as long as we are locked up, we cannot access that creative, joyful part of ourselves. She talks about the need to play in all things you do rather than just seeking time to play and be joyful on its own. Dr. G talks about the need people find to define themselves and become super knowledgeable in what they do. This takes the fun out of doing things and takes the liberation out of doing things.Segment 4Starting the last segment of tonight's show, Dr. G talks about recognizing that while we are called to joy, we are also called to suffer. The importance of going within is being able to deal with our own and then walk in solidarity with others without carrying them. Nomi talks about helping people to find the mission or direction of their life that their soul needs to go in order to become more whole. Sometimes when listening to our suffering, we can find our mission, this is what happened for Nomi. She moves on to discuss the gate of silence and knowledge, and how they are about connecting with God and joy. Coming towards the closing of the episode, Dr. G asks Nomi to share her takeaways from tonight's show. Nomi shares the name of her podcast and links where she can be found. Dr. G ends the night in prayer.

Judi dives further into Gabriel's career and professions. Dr. Cousens discusses the meaning of the title of his book, Into the Nothing. In the mind there is time, space, and beingness. Beyond the mind though, there is “I-ness”, there is god, this is the nothingness to which he refers. He talks about this paradox that we are both here and we are not, we are multidimensional. In his book, Dr. Cousens says that we are born as originals and die as copies, his work is to help people return to being originals. Through schooling, parenting, etc. we lose our originality. The two hosts and Dr. Cousens discuss what it is that makes us unique and original.Segment 2Coming back from the break, Dr. G asks Dr. Cousens if he had a defining moment that led him into his journey into awareness. From a young age, he focused on the question “what is the meaning of death?” In 1975, he met someone who helped him expand beyond consciousness into the nothing. It was then that a voice told him that there is no death for the soul and he gained a profound understanding from this. Playing football from a young age, Dr. Cousens found himself having experiences going into the nothing. After this experience with football he found himself asking how he could more consistently interact with the nothing. To him the meaning of football is going beyond oneself. The most important things for Dr. Cousens are showing up and grace. One cannot work their way to god or diet their way to god, grace is the way, and everyone can find it. He believes there are 6 foundations, one being how we eat. Part of this is fasting, which gets one in touch with their sacred design, their soul. Another is movement, such as yoga. The third is service and charity. The fourth is working with a spiritual teacher when one is ready. The fifth is meditating and praying. The final is the awakening of the spirit. There are different variations of these, they don't need to be in this order, but they all must be achieved.Segment 3Dr. Cousens discusses the 7-fold peace. This is a way of life when combined with the 6 foundations. It's a holistic way of liberation. He talks about the joy and transcendence this brings him in life. Dr. G relates this back to a story from the Talmud and a view she has on. In his book, Dr. Cousens discusses a disconnection we feel with our souls. This separation blocks us from seeing the souls of other people and we instead see them as objects. Taking this separation further, we get hate. This hate comes from us projecting.Segment 4Starting the last segment off, Dr. G asks Dr. Cousens to discuss mystical experiences he's had. From an early age he's seen angels and other figures teaching. After the passing of his brother, he meditated in his brother's room and felt his presence. He didn't make much of these experiences at a young age, he just appreciated them. In 1970, he took a course and had a vision of three beings. Walking in India with a mentor, a being materialized in front of him. Dr. Cousens continues on to talk more about these beings he has interacted with and the impact these experiences have had on him. He talks about becoming one's prayer, or dissolving the spiritual blockage we may have and becoming what we are praying for. He gives the example of Native Americans experiencing and visualizing rain rather than praying for it. He shares ways to reach him and Dr. G asks him to ends tonight's episode in prayer.

Lisa shares her introduction to speaking to the dead, starting out hearing voices of the dead, not thinking much of it. Later on, she used this ability of hers to channel in order to share with a message with a woman whose mother was missing that the woman immediately knew the meaning of. She was later approached by Walt Disney and others to write a book. She believes that children are pretty psychic until the age of 7, but doesn't remember her personal psychic experiences as a child. She speaks more on her experiences with Walt Disney, and messages he gave to parents who had lost their children. Lisa says that once on the other side, the deceased can travel interdimensionally, go to other planets, and see what they believe, until they don't. Judi asks Lisa to talk about an experience she had talking to Jesus, where he showed her a vision and spoke about forgiveness.Segment 2In addition to having encounters with Jesus, Lisa has and continues to encounter Mother Mary in her practice. She shares that Mother Mary gave her a message of love, with the love we share and zen we have in our meditations both heals and manifests. Judi discusses a course of Lisa's which she took at the end of 2020 and asks Lisa to talk about her interactions with Davy Jones and Walt Disney. The two told Lisa that joy and playfulness are second only to love, bringing us into a higher state. Not all of the dead who have come to Lisa have brought joy though, Elvis came with a message of regret, only now seeing the value of joy. Einstein was shocked moving on to the other side, realizing that we are all ordinary and should not judge ourselves on anything we do, we should just be. Lisa moves on to discuss the questions we are asked when we move on and the differences in our vibrations when we move on to the other side, yet the equality we still share. Dr. G asks Lisa to discuss the concept of the conscience, and Lisa talks about the complexity of the concept and the idea that the conscience is what moves on when we pass.Segment 3Coming back from the break, Judi asks Lisa to share her experiences of George Harrison coming to her with Jesus. Lisa discusses communicating with the spirits, learning to work with them on her own terms. Lisa discusses crying during channeling and how this happens often as the channeling comes from a place of pure love. Many of us can't embrace that we are perfect, we are always throwing ourselves from grace. This comes from past lives, where we learned to punish ourselves and to not allow ourselves to be loved, feeling unworthy of it. The 3 discuss labels and judging, both of ourselves and others.Segment 4Coming back from the break, Lisa breaks down the different aspects of her work. The psychic work comes from the collective consciousness, mediumship comes directly from the dead, channelling she defines as the higher vibrations, with the energy being completely different and coming to her differently. Judi talks about a session she had with Lisa where her grandmother came through that inspired her to co host the podcast. Lisa shares her website and the resources on it, such as books and courses. Judi asks Lisa to share practices listeners can do on their own. Lisa recommends staying in one's joy place, meditating, and monaural beats. She continues on to talk about how anyone can receive messages through dreams. Lisa shares her takeaways from tonight's episode, starting with the fact that we are all so loved and perfect. Even though she has never channeled anyone that scares her, Lisa acknowledges that there is definitely dark energy out there.

Steven explains his background and discusses his body of work. His work as a doctor expands past physical healing, also focusing on spiritual and energetic healing. He continues on to discuss the embryonic period, the first eight and a half weeks after conception.Segment 2Coming back from the break, Steven describes the healing power of embryonic relationships, and how the embryo is the bridge between the spirit and body. He dives further into the process of the development of the body as an embryo. As the body develops, different parts are connected, and injuries experienced throughout life should be looked at deeper than the source, involving also the connected parts of the body. Steven describes the first experience he had with Jimmy O., who was his first influence with spiritual healing. Jimmy described his practice as “getting out of the way”.Segment 3Steven discusses an experience he had with a teacher of his. She taught him a ritual that helps him gain clarity. She called this practice “getting out of the way”, which helped Steven to understand what Jimmy had meant when they had first met. What Steven means by getting out of the way is to listen, to communicate with a patient's higher consciousness rather than poke and prod to find the source of the problem. This stems from the idea that the source of the problem is never where it hurts. Dr. G relates this to the work that her and Judi do, asking Steven how listeners can get out of the way in their own lives. Steven relates this process of listening to the taking off a wetsuit that is attached to the body, hanging the suit on a hook. Going remote for the covid 19 pandemic, Steven noticed that many more people were booked healing sessions with him. He describes an experience he had with a patient who couldn't walk, and how he healed her spiritually and energetically helping her to walk again.Segment 4Going into tonight's last segment, Judi asks Steven to discuss his experience with Rosalyn, a mentor of his. He describes her teachings of the disciplines of spiritual law, and her mastery of the chakra system. He began his teachings with her after being healed by her. Judi brings up a story Steven shared with her of how Rosalyn connects the pain we feel with the things going on in our lives when we start feeling these pains. Steven's takeaway for listeners from tonight's conversation is to surrender, getting out of the way and allowing spirit to fill the gap. Dr. Georgeann ends tonight's episode in prayer.

The two start off with a story that is a metaphor for God's constant presence. Dr. Georgeann reads a poem about how we are all connected to one common thread and discusses the meaning it took on for her. Judi goes on to discuss how being on the same thread, we still have free will and are unified by love. Judi asks Dr. G. what the thread means to her. The two talk about how we are shaped by our childhood, and how there were other outside factors affecting the interactions we had with others. They move on to a discussion of love and what it means to love.Segment 2Dr. Georgeann brings up the reason the show started, talking about how the topics the show covers are often overlooked by society. Life can be difficult sometimes, the two hosts discuss why this is and how we can transcend our problems, living for a higher purpose. They go on to talk about the importance of awareness and the gap between stimulus and response. Dr. Georgeann calls back to the point about childhood, diving deeper into how our experiences up to the ages of 5 to 7 shape how we react to stimuli throughout our life. Judi and Dr. Georgeann talks about the idea that we can be impacted by events in our life without realizing and then explain the topic of epigenetics. Epigenetics is the idea that we can inherit the past traumas of family members.Segment 3Only 10% of our life is lived consciously, the other 90% is unconscious. Dr. G. draws a comparison to a glacier, with 90% of the ice being underwater. She continues on to discuss the difficulty a lack of control can bring to our lives. Judi brings up the question often asked, “if we are all made in the lord's name, why do bad things happen to us?”, and the two share their takes on the question. We are all the creators of our own lives, but we project outward what we don't want to see. When we lack a sense of identity, we look to our possessions to define ourselves, which can make us feel less than. This is only a feeling though, we are not less than. Judi shares another analogy about water, the analogy represents how we are all part of the creator. The two talk about the value we receive from sharing love, and how giving love is not something to be announced, but something that adds value to our life.Segment 4Coming back from the break, the two hosts move on to the topic of gratitude and how it can connect us to God. Dr. G. believes that love is the answer, even when she doesn't feel loving, she knows that she is the creator of her life and every outcome in her life is a result of something she's done. Judi agrees on the importance of gratitude and continues on to talk about how we often lose ourselves in our lives and don't take time to do things we enjoy. Every night she looks for something she can channel her love into. Judi talks about truths in her life and how realising them has impacted her life. The two move on from these truths to talk about how they share many of the same beliefs but arrived at them in different ways. Dr. Georgeann then shares daily rituals she practices everyday that may help listeners in their daily lives. A practice shared by Judi is the slowing down of her mind, through prayer, nature, and other activities that give her reference. Dr. G. ends tonight's episode in prayer.

Georgeann recalls how disconnected she felt when she received her diagnosis of scoliosis. This was a struggle in her earlier years but something she has over time learned to live with. She also explains to listeners that we are not to be defined by our external behavior. Learning to not feel inferior because of natural human error and struggle is key to creating a strong connection with God.Segment 2When Georgeann returns, she continues her topic of her external belief system defining who we are. A distorted body image creates the illusion that if you look “perfect” that will reflect into your life. This is false. Then GeorgeAnn welcomes a special guest, Gretchen Stubenhaus. She starts by discussing the original sin of her own life. Stubenhaus elaborates by stating all of her experiences and perceptions are through a judgement-free lens. The most important thing about missing the mark, is acknowledging it and learning from it. This includes in your own daily life as a parent, friend, or any other aspect of life. Stubenhaus shares some of her early life experiences with listeners to give an idea of what her childhood was like.Segment 2Stubenhaus continues sharing her story of early childhood. She shares her thoughts on therapy and how the effects wear off over time. People often leave feeling validated but in actuality nothing has changed. Until we are able find the problem in ourselves, we cannot truly heal our patterns of behavior that aren't working. “Get in there and break up the hardened soil.” Around 16 years of age, Stubenhaus chose to stop receiving her therapy treatments. She breaks down relationships that came and went and certain choices she didn't feel was necessary. What lives in our conscious we will continue to relive over and over until it's out of our conscious. GeorgeAnn asks Stubenhaus for advice on breaking the patterns of passed down sins.Segment 3Stubenhaus is asked questions about her parenting style. She points out the differences in the way she's raising her daughter opposed to how she was raised. She tells a story about getting angry at her husband because of where he moved the outdoor umbrellas in the house. She discusses the moment when she switched the urge in her brain to “nag” and turned it into a moment when she realized all the other amazing things he does to help. She realized in that moment, yelling at her husband for something so small, would not make her life any better. It wouldn't make his life any better, and it could effect the attitude he has towards her and change how he parents their daughter. By choosing appreciation and peace, she changed the tone of the experience. Segment 4Using a vacuum as an analogy for life, Stubenhaus explains how our behavior is based off of everything we pick up throughout our life. Everything can be traced back to early childhood. Together they discuss how God has given them the tools needed to fix these “sins” in our lives. In the last minute Stubenhaus shares the things she wants to work on in her own marriage. GeorgeAnn invites Studenhaus back to discuss more on this topic next week. Men's Spiritual Work is as old as humankind---think Abraham, Jacob, David, the Apostles, and Paul in the West; Rumi and Hafez in the East. But throughout the years, it seems by the late 20th Century, men were less involved with the workings of the inner/spiritual life.Certainly we could observe this in the 80's and 90's where inside the churches, pews were predominantly occupied by woman and children rather that families. What has happened?Tune in for this philosophical conversation at TalkRadio.nyc or watch the Facebook Livestream by clicking here.Show NotesSegment 1Dr. GeorgeAnn welcomes her listeners and introduces her guest and friend, Dominick Bencivenga. Together they discuss Dominick's spiritual journey and ways other men have evolved in their spirituality. Dominick shares his journey of spiritual direction by first touching on the early stages of his life. Starting with a bargain he made with his mother to stop going to church, this bargain was his first attempt at pulling away from the church. This taps into his thoughts behind the "small mind of the ego" and how it took a "surrender moment" after the birth of his daughter, Jacqueline, to fully embrace the likeness of God. Together they expand on how the church has evolved over time. Segment 2Dr. GeorgeAnn opens up the segment by discussing the men's spirituality movement and Dominick's part in it. Dominick recalls the moment he felt the spirit calling him, leading him to a spirituality retreat that felt like home. The program, "Man Matters Spirituality," allowed him to connect with others who are on or interested in pursuing their own personal spiritual journey. Next, they dive into the initiation of boys becoming men throughout time in ancient cultures. These initiations are intended to pull female and nurturing energy away from the boys, allowing them to complete an initiation, to then come back and be seen in a different light. They then discuss how God tends to create a natural flow of spiritual development and the connection with God is unique in each of us. Segment 3Dr. GeorgeAnn opens the conversation in direction of Dominick's early path to widening his wisdom. His journey from a boy to a man, spiritually. Dominick then shares stories of other spiritual masters and names books that have helped him the most through life. Helping with work relationships, family relationships and marital relationships. Dominic shares a beautiful story of how an unwanted trip into the forest has changed his outlook forever. GeorgeAnn comments it's moments like these that "loosen up the compacted soil, so one can flourish." Segment 4Dr. GeorgeAnn begins the final segment by instilling the importance of spirituality in a man's life and the framework behind getting the journey. Dominick explains his psychoanalytical perspective and dives deeper into explaining "Illuman” a worldwide organization that supports the inner work that goes into connecting men who are on a journey of reaching their full spiritual potential. Men transforming men. Dominick shares how the pursuit of his own journey is what led him to want to serve others. GeorgeAnn talks about separating ourselves from material things that we think define us and focusing on letting go. The segment is closed with a prayer.

God is a God of Order - -As there is a natural progression for the development of our mind, so is there a natural progression/flow of our soul.Do we participate? What might be in our way? We'll discuss this and more on part 2 of this topic!Tune in for this philosophical conversation at TalkRadio.nyc or watch the Facebook Livestream by clicking here.Show NotesSegment 1Dr. GeorgeAnn welcomes her listeners. Next week she'll have a guest who is affiliated to a men's consciousness group. Dr. GeorgeAnn further discusses disorder and change and how the ego responds to it. We as humans generally look to control the disorder and pretend everything is good but that is not life and there are further challenges. She reads a poem from her cousin which dives further into this concept. As a recap God is a God of order and as we partake in this alignment of soul we have a natural order we grow with but also a combined growth process which is a development of our soul. In closing we are called to challenge ourselves to go beyond the limits of the mind. We are the master of our own thoughts and we first have to see what we are thinking before we can change them, grow them and go beyond the limits.   Segment 2Dr. GeorgAnn opens up talking about the concept of mindfulness and how we cannot take charge of someone else's thoughts and we are called to know ourselves and how we react to that. Going from there we can change and grow our behaviors to be more in touch with ourselves and each other. We further need to be in touch with a higher power to grow into that and if we feel we don't need it we are operating in life with half of ourselves. GeorgeAnn further discusses how Jesus asked us to follow him, not worship in, and that it is important to follow to come in control of our thoughts. Moving on to disorder God gave us free will and free thought and if we don't look at what we are thinking and feeling we are living someone else's thoughts/feelings. In recap, first order is not wrong but it is limited. Segment 3GeorgeAnn opens up this segment talking about how we usually avoid being uncomfortable but God is interested in the development of our soul. The situations that enter our life we don't necessarily have the skill set we were taught growing up and this is usually when we begin to pray. In disorder, disorder is shaking up the order we believe in, which we can't not fully rely on as it will let us down. God is desiring for each of us to awaken to God's DNA and that the spiritual DNA can be activated in ourselves as God is part of all of us. With God as the creator we are all one and part of this one body as God looks to integrate humanity with the divinity.   Segment 4GeorgeAnn begins this segment reading and discussing the parable of the wedding banquet from the Gospel of Matthew. In further interpretation of the passage that all of us are invited but at first we don't have the willingness to accept the invitation but we need to be willing to partake in the invitation and God has to see our relationship with God and willingness to make a difference in our lives and in others. So in re-order we need to define the God within us and that lives in us. In closing our freedom is free from the prison of our own illusions and that God loves us unconditionally so that we can learn ourselves and to one another.

God's Natural Universal ProgressionGod is a God of Order. Everything has to be torn down and die before it is transformed and made anew; so it is with our psyche in the natural progression of the growth of our soul.Tune in for this philosophical conversation at TalkRadio.nyc or watch the Facebook Livestream by clicking here.Show NotesSegment 1Dr. Dau talks about the TalkRadio song. It makes her want to go out and ask people if they have heard this. This is why she said yes to G-d about the radio show. She wants to share her real experience with growth and development. She used to be an affiliate with the Senecal Sisters, a group of nuns. She will discuss the different phases of development. Narcissism starts in the womb. Outside stimulus becomes the inner reality and truth of what we begin to live as we grow up into adults. Our outer experiences become an inner world that we live out of. There is a natural spiritual order to develop our soul. G-d gave us free will to partake in this divide progression as part of nature or not. We are the only creatures that have free will to choose whether or not to follow that progression or not. To follow the G-d inside of us or not. The natural order of progression is real and it exists. Segment 2 Dr. Dau discusses psychological vs soul development and the natural order of progression for both of them. Before Jesus came, humanity had lived out of a “reptilian” type of brain. There was no thought about an action, everything was a reaction. She is committed to this work and awareness that she has. She is hoping to be some sort of a guide, saying that with great humility, to help viewers realize the truth in all of what she is saying. G-d is in us, with us always. Where is G-d, he is everywhere. It's like a fish asking where the water is. First order of live, 0-7, we all come from disfunction. The small mind of the ego that we developed believed that any time of disorder should be avoided. We need to pretend that our order is entirely good, it should be everybody's order. It is the only truth, and you can see how people argue and fight over this just to protect these views. We grow the most when we overcome difficulties. We take our past and Velcro it on our present until we deal with it and address it.Segment 3A lot of the first order of life is unconscious, and it acts like an operating system. All of it is meant to help us to function in the world. We don't think about our actions. We look to avoid conflict and inconsistencies during this hour. We are looking to be comfortable. Our home life as children is meant to shape us and give us the depth of security. We are not prepared for the second half of life because of the first order. We fight to use the skill set that we learned in the first order but it doesn't fit. We are left with very little frustration tolerance and impulse control. Dr. Dau now looks at Disorder. We cannot avoid suffering. A few of us enter disorder willingly, but usually it is thrown at us. Segment 4Sooner or later if we say yes to any spiritual schedule, we will have an awareness of what is happening inside of us. We might not have the tools to deal with trauma. It can bring us to the truth of who we are, and who really is in the driver's seat of our life. The truth is if we haven't worked on our soul with the development of G-d, we are living someone else's life. We are living what was passed down to us from the first order of life based on what we were brought up around. You have to be awake to know why things in your life are not working. Dr. Dau knows who Jesus is, she has met Jesus in her heart and in her soul. We are called to let go of our ego-centric thoughts and go further on a large journey. We look to grow not with ourselves alone but to elevate our collective consciousness.

Encouraging parents to think for themselves, and not feel shame or blame, will do very well with the child. Most people are not brought up this way. SEGMENT 2Dr. Dau gives an example. A child is receiving cookies, and the child is left alone with the cookies. The mother comes in and calls her child “greedy” for eating all the cookies. This is a mother that obviously does this multiple times, it is not a one time occurrence. The child will experience this type of behavior from their mother throughout their lifetime. The child will grow up with shame. Historically this is why people do better as a tribe or a large family. She discusses a patient she had who did not have a good relationship with his father. We will pass on how we were treated in our family. We will either bring people into our lives that let us treat them that way or treat us that way. Our unconscious is like a person we put in the basement, it wants to be healed. Until we get into the core of what is inside of us and what we tell ourselves, nothing is going to change. That is why Dr. Dau loves scripture. This is how prejudism starts, they are brought up around it, but they don't understand their feelings.  SEGMENT 3Dr. Dau tells The Chicken and the Eagle Story. She talks about transference. When you see something you don't like in someone, it is actually something you don't like about yourself. When you are pointing a finger, there are fingers pointing back at you. She discusses projection. We don't see things the way things are, we see things as we are. We need to elevate our minds so we aren't lying out of our subconscious, and we live life more consciously. The more we are patient with ourselves and forgive ourselves and embrace our humanness, we will be able to be closer to divinity and be there for others. Relationships will touch us in the deepest place. When you are touched in that place and you don't have awareness of what is going on, you will react to that person. We learn to slow down and learn how to choose how to react instead of reacting from our unconscious wounds.SEGMENT 4How do we know what is going on in our subconscious? We need to pay attention to the dialogue in our heads. When we learn to laugh at ourselves for being human and making mistakes, that is great. It is not easy. We are enough, and none of us feel like enough. We are all the same. We are all fine the way we are, but we all have work to do because of what we were told about ourselves. There are distortions. If they are affecting our way of life, then we know it went on for us pre-talking. If we have a strong reaction to something from the outer world that we feel the need to react to, we know that it was something from pre-talking. When we look to have a better life, we do it because we wanna help others have a better life. We want to make differences in other people's lives and learn to love. What we don't become mindful for, we transmit. We are looking to get rid of it (what is uncomfortable for us), like traits we don't like.

How does the mind become limited? Why is it important to see beyond those limitations? We do not see the way things are; we see as we are - Lets Take A Look...Tune in for this philosophical conversation at TalkRadio.nyc or watch the Facebook Livestream by clicking here.SHOW NOTESSEGMENT 1If we compare our consciousness to an iceberg, only 10% of our consciousness is used, much like an iceberg. Everyone in the bible that came up to Jesus, he asked them “what do you want me to do for you?” We are not ready to receive that with what we do not have a conscious desire of. She discusses her anxiety that she absorbed in the womb from her mother. SEGMENT 2Dr. Dau discusses her G-d daughter. The G-d daughter is a very happy child, and the parents lived a happy life and a happy marriage. If there is trauma during the pregnancy, then the baby will carry that trauma. Every parent has good intentions for their child. Simple experiences that baby's experience can feel like a large impact for a child. The child is a sponge and everything is new. How the baby is touched for the first couple weeks of its life sets up an entire unconscious part of itself where it trusts or distrusts people. The baby picks everything up through their senses. How a child is raised is crucial. The child may be shamed or made to feel bad or wrong. Most humans go through life with anxiety and/or depression.  SEGMENT 3There are emotional skill sets and there are mechanical unconscious skill sets. For example, learning to walk. As we get older, our ego is developed and we learn more unconscious skills such as driving. She knows that G-d called her to teach because G-d gave her images of a large crowd, and brought her to teaching. Whatever you were brought up around you are carrying in you. When it is uncomfortable you will look to get rid of it and transmit it outwards. She calls these “pre-talking experiences.” They are familiar experiences. She discusses how she fixes her wounds productively. She went towards that in defense of her feeling stupid because of the way she was raised. We are bigger than what we were brought up to be.  SEGMENT 4If we are unconscious of our decisions then we have no choice, no one can ask us what we want because we are unconscious of it. Every time we face the pain we resurrect. Once we begin to own our fears they do not have a power over us anymore we have a choice. We are no longer a victim. We all have a true and a false self. The false self is the self we created from ages 0-7. This is the mechanical self.

She will spend the first episode introducing herself and letting you know who she is. Nobody likes to be uncomfortable, and everyone likes to go around uncomfortable feelings. Everyone wants to get over it as soon as possible, and from her experience that as much as we would like to avoid it we cannot. Growing up, Dr. Dau was inquisitive and asked lots of questions about the planet. She was struck with “Renewal of your mind.” When she reflects back, G-d was always carving out this path and working for her. Her earlier memories were loving Jesus, and kissing a photo of Jesus on a keychain every night before bed. At a young age she started therapy, and she realized she was a seeker of truth. She left home very early and life was difficult.  SEGMENT 2She was invited to go to a Presbyterian Church, and decided to go. She did not enjoy her time at the Presbyterian Church, and a friend told her to try a Catholic Church. She was invited to bring up the gifts. As she was approaching the altar with the container with the wafers, all of a sudden her chest expanded and her head went back and she went down. She had never felt such incredible love in her life. She left the church that day and decided she would join the church. That was over 30 years ago. She had suffered a lot of trauma, and was in a place where she would do anything to get rid of her pain. She was in a place of suffering. She went into a program that was 3 years, and went on to work on her doctoral program on the psychoanalytical world. Dr. Dau talks about her sister's bible, that she received from her sister. The bible fell off the shelf, and it opened to the plastic keychain of Jesus.  SEGMENT 3If there is something you don't like about someone, it is really about yourself. Dr. Dau reads scripture. We all need the highest form of ourselves, which is G-d in us. This begins as an invitation to go beyond the limits of our mind. When the bible fell down from the shelf, and the keychain was in the pages, the page that it opened up to was the scripture passage about going beyond the limits of the mind.  SEGMENT 4Next week we are going to delve deep beyond what we think of ourselves as and how we view ourselves, people, and life. G-d is everywhere, in everything. She reads a piece of one of Anthony Domelo's Book, the Song of the Bird. Anthony Domelo grew up Buddhist and became a Catholic Priest. Next week, Dr. Dau will pick up on how we were all brought up on a set of beliefs. This becomes our truth. The whole truth and nothing but the truth. We go through our life doing everything we can do to protect that truth, even if it is not true. She ends the show with a prayer.
