On this weeks episode of the Not So Perfect Couple Podcast Sam and Paddy sit-down with their "soul mate couple" and they talk creating intimacy in your relationship, overcoming your insecurities, and growing closer when the world is trying to tear you apart. Lindon and Cassie have a pretty ordinary love story. They met at work, became best friends, then one of them surprisingly revealed they were in love with the other, they were engaged 5 months later and have been married for six years. However, their life has been any thing but ordinary. They own a personal development company in California, they are constantly looking for ways to over come their unconscious protective strategies to create more intimacy in their lives together and two years ago their first son was born still. The trauma of losing their first baby has made creating a loving intimate relationship challenging but it is also because of their dedication to the love they have for their baby and each other that they embrace the challenge and use it to shape them in becoming even stronger together and as individuals. The fear and the hurt that they feel only serves as the diving board they use to dive into questioning everything that separates them from each other. Once they get through the conversation of Patrick forgiving his penis for being a grower not a show-er. Sam talks about the most important concept of forgiveness...which is you forgive someone for yourself, not for them. Paddy may have a different take. This week Sam and Paddy sit down with Alexandra Miu. They discuss tantra, different forms of sex, orgasms, and so much more including how to reclaim your inner power in relationships. Both Sam and Patrick discuss their ventures into this world and how they've navigated almost without trying.  Alexandra Miu, like many out there, has experienced abuse, trauma, pain and failures. She grew up feeling insecure, kind of a nerdy kid in a village in Romania. Feeling like she had to always prove herself. And that took a huge toll on her confidence and self-esteem. Family life was in turmoil, and after a failed marriage at the age of 25, after a divorce, she realized she turned into a scared adult who never felt good enough. Who had a less than healthy relationship with men and felt numb in her own body. But she had this inner knowing that she has something to offer. Something bigger than herself that she had to share. Working through past conditioning, with years and years of deep-seated insecurities and pain, it wasn't a walk in the park. But she knew that in order to experience pleasure and a remarkable life, she had to first go through pain. So now she empowers others to reclaim their inner power. To honour themselves and break free of any limitation and to tap into their most powerful energy – their life force aka their sexual energy.
