The Redeemed Man podcast features interviews with dynamic speakers on a variety of topics affecting men in our competitive, polarized world. Paul Amos, founder of The Redeemed, hosts this podcast in hopes of offering Christian wisdom and insights into man
The Redeemed Man podcast is an absolutely essential listen for every man out there. It delves into the core of men's hearts, empowering them to grow closer to their Heavenly Father. In a time where this type of content is desperately needed, I am grateful for everyone involved in its production and their obedience to advancing the Kingdom of God.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is the content that is shared. The podcast focuses on surrendering our hearts to God and embarking on a journey of growth and transformation. The discussions are honest and raw, with men opening up about their struggles and celebrating their hope and freedom in Christ. It's incredibly encouraging and often profound to hear these stories and gain wisdom from them. This type of vulnerability is rare to find elsewhere.
Another great aspect of The Redeemed Man podcast is the sense of community it provides. Men listening to this podcast will realize they are not alone in their journey, no matter what stage of life they are in. There is hope, which can only be found through Christ's work on the cross. The hosts and guests on this podcast create an atmosphere of camaraderie, where listeners can feel connected and supported.
On the downside, one possible drawback of this podcast may be its Christian focus. While it offers valuable insights for anyone seeking personal growth and spiritual development, those who do not identify as Christians might find some episodes less relevant or relatable. However, I would argue that the hosts go out of their way to make the content accessible to listeners from all backgrounds by breaking down complex concepts with humility and empathy.
In conclusion, The Redeemed Man podcast is a must-listen for any man seeking godly encouragement, wisdom, and community while navigating life's challenges. The stories shared on this podcast exemplify biblical principles in action, showing us the blessings that come from living according to God's will. My own life has been positively impacted by the lessons shared on this podcast, and I believe it has the potential to do the same for others. Whether you're searching for freedom, purpose, or community, The Redeemed Man podcast offers an uplifting and transformative experience that is well worth your time.

Jon Ebert, founder of Single Stone Counseling, comes from a lineage of pastors. Perhaps that's why his work focuses on religious leaders, who can feel ashamed to admit they're struggling. This week, Jon talks with Redeemed founder Paul Amos about the big expectations that can burden men, striving for authenticity, and how we can redefine society's warped, stereotypical view of masculine strength by focusing on the example presented by Jesus. Barnabas Piper grew up the son of a pastor who practiced what he preached and encouraged deep conversations about God. Despite that upbringing, Barnabas found himself facing a crisis of identity and faith in his mid-20s. Ultimately, that crisis led to divorce, but the spiritual renewal he experienced taught him a lot about being a better husband, father, and disciple. Barnabas shares those lessons this week, along with thoughts on redemption, repentance, and voicing one's sin and pain to God.Visit The Redeemed's website for downloadable discussion question sets, show notes, inspirational articles, more resources, or to share your testimony.Join our Exclusive Newsletter: Signup today and be the first to get notified on upcoming podcasts and new resources! The Redeemed is an organization giving men from all backgrounds a supportive, judgment-free environment, grounded in Christian love without demanding participation in any faith tradition, where they can open up about their challenges, worries, and failures—and celebrate their triumphs over those struggles. For the longest time, Pedro LaTorre avoided addressing what was in his heart. Childhood abuse and blaming himself for his parents' divorce drove Pedro to perform as a way to prove his worth. But when a major arm injury prematurely ended his baseball career, Pedro's search for a new identity drove him to engage more deeply with his feelings. In the process, he built the kind of meaningful relationship with God that he'd desired for a long time.Listen in as Pedro discusses the problems we cause by dealing superficially with our feelings—as well as the tremendous rewards we can reap when we fully address what's in our hearts.Visit The Redeemed's website for downloadable discussion question sets, show notes, inspirational articles, more resources, or to share your testimony.Join our Exclusive Newsletter: Signup today and be the first to get notified on upcoming podcasts and new resources! The Redeemed is an organization giving men from all backgrounds a supportive, judgment-free environment, grounded in Christian love without demanding participation in any faith tradition, where they can open up about their challenges, worries, and failures—and celebrate their triumphs over those struggles. This week on the Redeemed Man podcast, Redeemed director Nate Dewberry sits down with his own pastor, Kyle Jackson, from Church of the Highlands in Columbus, Georgia. Kyle shares openly about the temptations he gave into as a young man and how he found his way back to God. He offers practical advice for men struggling with their faith, searching for purpose, or questioning their worth in ministry. While reading the Bible and attending church are key, Kyle emphasizes the importance of building relationships with people who live out their faith and are guided by the Holy Spirit—these connections, he says, are vital for developing leadership skills and seeing God's work in others.Visit The Redeemed's website for downloadable discussion question sets, show notes, inspirational articles, more resources, or to share your testimony.Join our Exclusive Newsletter: Signup today and be the first to get notified on upcoming podcasts and new resources! The Redeemed is an organization giving men from all backgrounds a supportive, judgment-free environment, grounded in Christian love without demanding participation in any faith tradition, where they can open up about their challenges, worries, and failures—and celebrate their triumphs over those struggles. It was supposed to be a leisurely ride home from an ice cream parlor for Bryan and Lynn Koch on their beloved Harley-Davidson—but that 2015 ride ended in tragedy at the hands of a drunk driver, costing Lynn her life and Bryan his left leg. As Bryan and his three sons worked through unimaginable grief, though, they found comfort in their deep faith, along with lessons about forgiveness and hope. Bryan, a pastor with more than three decades of experience, related some of those lessons in his 2017 book I'm All Right—and he shares them with Nate Dewberry in this week's episode of the Redeemed Man podcast. Anyone who's found himself wondering “God, why me?” in the midst of tragedy will find plenty to be inspired by in Bryan and his story.Visit The Redeemed's website for downloadable discussion question sets, show notes, inspirational articles, more resources, or to share your testimony.Join our Exclusive Newsletter: Signup today and be the first to get notified on upcoming podcasts and new resources! The Redeemed is an organization giving men from all backgrounds a supportive, judgment-free environment, grounded in Christian love without demanding participation in any faith tradition, where they can open up about their challenges, worries, and failures—and celebrate their triumphs over those struggles. If you've ever watched a pro athlete making a sign of the cross and pointing to the sky after catching a long TD bomb or smashing a homer, and asked yourself, “Does God really care what we're doing out on the field?”, this week's podcast is for you. Guest Jonathan Carr, a former collegiate golfer who's now a coach and teacher, says we might be asking ourselves the wrong question—what we should really be asking is whether we care enough about what God's doing. Jonathan and Nate Dewberry spend this episode discussing the intersections between faith and sports, and how we can give glory to God even in the heat of competition. When we remind ourselves there are actually things more important than winning, Jonathan says, we lessen our own anxiety, perform more consistently, and live a less arrogant, more Christlike existence.Visit The Redeemed's website for downloadable discussion question sets, show notes, inspirational articles, more resources, or to share your testimony.Join our Exclusive Newsletter: Signup today and be the first to get notified on upcoming podcasts and new resources! The Redeemed is an organization giving men from all backgrounds a supportive, judgment-free environment, grounded in Christian love without demanding participation in any faith tradition, where they can open up about their challenges, worries, and failures—and celebrate their triumphs over those struggles. Ben Peterson describes his upbringing as “emotionally insane”—a father with OCD and myriad addiction issues; a mother with borderline personality disorder; a constant parade of screaming matches. That, combined with the emotional scars of seeing combat duty in the Middle East with the Army, meant the deck was stacked against Ben in terms of ever forming healthy attachments with other people. But through introspection, close friends who weren't just work buddies, and a commitment to the responsibilities God places on us as men, he was able to save his marriage from disaster and build healthier relationships. Ben talks with Nate Dewberry this week about unpacking our childhood traumas and why they make us the way we are, as well as spiritual warfare, the true purpose of marriage, and how his ministry, Engage Your Destiny, is helping soldiers and veterans deal with the traumas they've brought home from war.Visit The Redeemed's website for downloadable discussion question sets, show notes, inspirational articles, more resources, or to share your testimony.Join our Exclusive Newsletter: Signup today and be the first to get notified on upcoming podcasts and new resources! The Redeemed is an organization giving men from all backgrounds a supportive, judgment-free environment, grounded in Christian love without demanding participation in any faith tradition, where they can open up about their challenges, worries, and failures—and celebrate their triumphs over those struggles. Abandoned by his father and sexually abused as a pre-teen, Jim Miner's life was one of brokenness, infidelity, and hopelessness. “All I wanted to do,” he remembers of hitting rock bottom, was to “die in the darkest, dankest, stinkiest, ugliest corner of a back alley off of Bourbon Street.” It was the grace of God, he says, that taught him how to let go—of his sexual obsessions and his long-simmering resentments, both of which were eating him up inside. Now this once hopeless individual is leading small men's groups, both in person at his church in Iowa and online with The Redeemed. Jim bravely shares his story with Nate Dewberry and our listeners this week, offering life lessons, reassurance, and many kind words for the men he leads in his groups—men whom he calls, with tears in his eyes, his “heroes.”Visit The Redeemed's website for downloadable discussion question sets, show notes, inspirational articles, more resources, or to share your testimony.Join our Exclusive Newsletter: Signup today and be the first to get notified on upcoming podcasts and new resources! The Redeemed is an organization giving men from all backgrounds a supportive, judgment-free environment, grounded in Christian love without demanding participation in any faith tradition, where they can open up about their challenges, worries, and failures—and celebrate their triumphs over those struggles. During his days in the Navy, Charlie Watkins' best friend was a surgeon who was great with patients, always stayed in shape, and maintained a smile on his face even in the high-stress environment of a nuclear-powered guided missile cruiser. One day Charlie asked his friend, “Jim, you've got to tell me what you've got!”—and was invited to a Bible study session that forever changed his life. Today, as a successful businessman and Christian leader, Charlie is the one other men are coming to for inspiration and advice on issues ranging from deep-seated family wounds to maintaining a healthy work-life balance. He relates what he's learned over the course of his fascinating life in his new book, Throw No Rocks—and discusses those lessons in a deep, rewarding conversation with Nate Dewberry in this week's edition of The Redeemed Man. Ron Acosta's childhood was a nonstop litany of insults, abuse, and even outright abandonment. Constantly having to hear people (even his own family members) tell him he'd never amount to anything made him that much more motivated to succeed in life—and succeed he did, eventually becoming the VP of operations at Walmart. But he still had to confront the wounds of his past—and he still had to learn that no matter how motivated or driven you might be, there's more to life than “winning.” Ron, who just published his memoir Unstoppable Grace, talks with Nate Dewberry about how he's navigated both the agonies and triumphs of his incredible life story. And he shares lessons he's learned along the way about leadership, dealing with trauma, and learning to see yourself not as the person your worst detractors say you are, but as the person God knows you to be.Visit The Redeemed's website for downloadable discussion question sets, show notes, inspirational articles, more resources, or to share your testimony.Join our Exclusive Newsletter: Signup today and be the first to get notified on upcoming podcasts and new resources! The Redeemed is an organization giving men from all backgrounds a supportive, judgment-free environment, grounded in Christian love without demanding participation in any faith tradition, where they can open up about their challenges, worries, and failures—and celebrate their triumphs over those struggles. In his very first “Mighty Mite” football game at age six, on a play called “Splat Green Sweep Right,” Jordan Kunaszyk scored a 60-yard TD. Today he's an NFL veteran who's played for Carolina, Washington, and Cleveland. But Jordan isn't shy about admitting that the journey in between—like his personal faith journey—has had plenty of ups, downs, and false starts. This week Jordan talks with Redeemed founder Paul Amos about both journeys and what he's learned along the way—about perseverance, living a moral life, putting God's word first, and maintaining a strong faith even through frustrating times.Visit The Redeemed's website for downloadable discussion question sets, show notes, inspirational articles, more resources, or to share your testimony.Join our Exclusive Newsletter: Signup today and be the first to get notified on upcoming podcasts and new resources! The Redeemed is an organization giving men from all backgrounds a supportive, judgment-free environment, grounded in Christian love without demanding participation in any faith tradition, where they can open up about their challenges, worries, and failures—and celebrate their triumphs over those struggles. As a doctoral candidate in counselor education and vice president of the American Association of Christian Counselors, Zach Clinton has seen up close our society's epidemic of depression, loneliness, and hopelessness. In this week's podcast, he talks with Redeemed founder Paul Amos about ways men can combat that epidemic, build emotional and spiritual resilience, and overcome the things standing in the way of a deeper and more meaningful relationship with God. Resilience, he says, can be summed up with the two words that form the title of his new book, Even If: Even if the world bombards us with challenges, pressures, and temptations, by staying true to our faith, family, friends, and principles we can achieve courageous and fulfilling lives.Visit The Redeemed's website for downloadable discussion question sets, show notes, inspirational articles, more resources, or to share your testimony.Join our Exclusive Newsletter: Signup today and be the first to get notified on upcoming podcasts and new resources! The Redeemed is an organization giving men from all backgrounds a supportive, judgment-free environment, grounded in Christian love without demanding participation in any faith tradition, where they can open up about their challenges, worries, and failures—and celebrate their triumphs over those struggles. It was supposed to just be a fun story for the USC student newspaper, but Ben Malcolmson's tryout for the Trojans football team led to a spot as a walk-on wide receiver—and a lengthy professional relationship with head coach Pete Carroll, whom Ben served as a special assistant when Carroll became head coach of the Seattle Seahawks. Ben's story wasn't without its challenges, pitfalls, and disappointments, but in the fullness of time, he came to understand the purpose God had in mind for him—and why God had put him on such an amazing path. Ben talks with Nate Dewberry on this week's podcast about his experiences in the fast-paced world of professional football, living fully in our identities in Christ, and staying willing to trust God's for us even when the full picture isn't immediately clear.Visit The Redeemed's website for downloadable discussion question sets, show notes, inspirational articles, more resources, or to share your testimony.Join our Exclusive Newsletter: Signup today and be the first to get notified on upcoming podcasts and new resources! The Redeemed is an organization giving men from all backgrounds a supportive, judgment-free environment, grounded in Christian love without demanding participation in any faith tradition, where they can open up about their challenges, worries, and failures—and celebrate their triumphs over those struggles. Singer/songwriter Kristian Stanfill has been leading worship services ever since he was 15 years old; unfortunately, he had a drinking problem for nearly that long. He'd managed to mask it reasonably well for years, “talking around” his struggles rather than admitting to them directly. But it all came to a head in November 2020, when his wife and two best friends finally confronted him and he found himself on the verge of losing “every good thing that God has given to me.” Over the course of his recovery and sobriety, though, Kristian says he's learned a lot about redemption, grace, and the true nature of the freedom God offers us. He's also learned a lot about the importance of being open and honest—with God, our loved ones, and ourselves. Kristian says he's found incredible fulfillment in sharing that message with others, and he shares it with Nate Dewberry and The Redeemed Man audience in this week's podcast.Visit The Redeemed's website for downloadable discussion question sets, show notes, inspirational articles, more resources, or to share your testimony.Join our Exclusive Newsletter: Signup today and be the first to get notified on upcoming podcasts and new resources! The Redeemed is an organization giving men from all backgrounds a supportive, judgment-free environment, grounded in Christian love without demanding participation in any faith tradition, where they can open up about their challenges, worries, and failures—and celebrate their triumphs over those struggles. But even with all these blessings, Cody has faced his share of challenges, from struggling to catch on with a college team to being a child of divorce. As a former Division I college basketball player who'd been playing the game ever since he was a little kid, Doug Elks is no stranger to physical exertion or the sacrifices athletes make. Even with that in mind, though, running 100 miles wearing a weighted 20-pound vest—as Doug, an avid long-distance runner, plans to do this December—might sound extreme. But he says he's doing it to symbolize the weight many men carry around on their souls every day, weight we were never intended to carry. And whether our suffering comes from an ultramarathon or any of the other challenges we might face in life, there's meaning in it if we're willing to look for it. Doug, who founded the Ambition In Mind (AIM) ministry in 2020, talks with Nate Dewberry this week about his own spiritual awakening, finding the true meaning in suffering, and how our spiritual journey can go from a trudge to a sprint if we find the right people to walk with us.Visit The Redeemed's website for downloadable discussion question sets, show notes, inspirational articles, more resources, or to share your testimony.Join our Exclusive Newsletter: Signup today and be the first to get notified on upcoming podcasts and new resources! The Redeemed is an organization giving men from all backgrounds a supportive, judgment-free environment, grounded in Christian love without demanding participation in any faith tradition, where they can open up about their challenges, worries, and failures—and celebrate their triumphs over those struggles. With all the distractions presented by the media, popular culture, and the online world, it can be hard to carve out time and space to block out the outside world and just be with God. This week's episode of The Redeemed Man contains some worthwhile advice on how to do it—and ironically enough, it comes from someone in the entertainment industry: Tracy Campbell, a Georgia native who's now a writer, actor, and director in southern California. Despite the widely held stereotype that the entertainment world is incompatible with a meaningful spiritual life, Tracy shares how he's managed to stay true to himself and to God despite the temptations of both Hollywood and the single life. He also offers insightful thoughts into having patience and maintaining one's faith even in the midst of tragedy and heartache. This week, The Redeemed Man welcomes its first international guest: Jamie Bambrick, associate pastor of Hope Church Craigavon and YouTube content creator. Earlier this year, Bambrick created a video responding to the “He Gets Us” Super Bowl ad that attracted more than half a million views; he talks with Nate Dewberry about dealing with the pressures (both positive and negative) of sudden online fame, and what he's learned about interacting with the chaotic and often hostile world of social media. Jamie also talks about his personal faith journey and how faith helped him and his wife through their fertility struggles, as well as the people in Jamie's life who keep him going and the hopeful signs he sees in faith communities around the world.Visit The Redeemed's website for downloadable discussion question sets, show notes, inspirational articles, more resources, or to share your testimony.Join our Exclusive Newsletter: Signup today and be the first to get notified on upcoming podcasts and new resources! The Redeemed is an organization giving men from all backgrounds a supportive, judgment-free environment, grounded in Christian love without demanding participation in any faith tradition, where they can open up about their challenges, worries, and failures—and celebrate their triumphs over those struggles. New to Hollywood and hungry for success, model/actor Joshua Broome agreed to do a porn film “just to put [his] toe in the water.” When word got back to his hometown, though, the shame convinced him a porn star was all he'd ever be, and he ended up appearing in more than 1,000 adult films before finally leaving the industry in 2013. But with the help of a loving wife, a good spiritual advisor, and friends willing to hold him accountable, Joshua realized he didn't have to be defined by his past—and that God had so much more in store for his future. Today a sought-after speaker and author of 7 Lies That Will Ruin Your Life, Joshua speaks with Nate Dewberry about the bad choices and misconceptions that sent him down a dark path, as well as the lessons that helped him realize he was still worthy of God's love. At just 16 years old, Jonathan Irons was tried as an adult, convicted, and sentenced to 50 years in prison—all for a burglary and assault he didn't commit. Strengthened by his faith and a prison ministry that believed in him, he endured 22 years of incarceration before being released in 2020.
