Indiana moved to 6-0 with an impressive 86-69 victory over Kansas State, delivering their most complete performance of the season. Suffocating defense held the nation's leading scorer PJ Haggerty to 16 points (12 below his average) and limited a high-octane Kansas State offense to under one point per possession. Reed Bailey overcame a rough first half to dominate the second half with 14 points in 16 minutes, while Conor Enright's defensive masterclass on Haggerty proved this team can win in multiple ways against quality competition.Coach Tonsoni, Ryan Phillips, and Bob Moats break down a statement win that has Indiana's defense rising to 15th in KenPom and the offense proving it doesn't need Tucker DeVries to go nuclear every night.Conor Enright's defensive clinic on Haggerty, fighting through screens and harassing him into "mental jello" all night while forcing Kansas State into uncomfortable mid-range jumpersReed Bailey's tale of two halves—three turnovers in 13 first-half minutes before erupting for 14 points on perfect shooting while finally playing through contact in the second halfTucker DeVries diving on the floor for loose balls and dishing five assists despite scoring just nine points, showing elite players don't let cold shooting nights affect their effortThe second-half rebounding dominance (outrebounding Kansas State 20-10) after getting outworked in the first half, proving Indiana can respond to adversity within gamesTrent Sisley's first-half spark off the bench with eight points in 15 minutes when DeVries and Bailey were strugglingThe offensive adjustment to spread the floor and create driving lanes for Tayton Conerway's aggressive rim attacks despite his seven turnoversIndiana shooting 71% on two-pointers and finishing plus-18 in hustle points while holding Kansas State to 40% from three (down from their 47% season average)Plus, as always, the Banner Moment, Meaningful Moments You Might Have Missed, Inside the Numbers, and our Game Balls, Hustle Award, and Lingering Questions. Two explorers head beneath the Cornwall cliffs, expecting a quiet day exploring abandoned mine tunnels. But the deeper they go, the heavier the air becomes—until their gas detector slams to 100%, oxygen collapses, and a crushing pressure settles over them like the tunnels themselves are tightening. Then comes the sound. A harsh metal scrape, like chains dragged slowly across rock. Once… then again, closer. And beneath it, a steady, deliberate breathing that isn't theirs. With the air vanishing and something moving in the dark, they realize the mine isn't abandoned... Follow Be. After his sentencing, Sean “Diddy” Combs will face extremely restrictive conditions during a five-year supervised release period following his roughly 50-month prison term. These conditions include mandatory outpatient treatment for both substance abuse and mental health, adherence to all prescribed medications, and enrollment in a domestic violence intervention program. He is also permanently barred from owning or possessing any firearms or destructive devices. The supervision is designed to tightly control his movements and behavior, ensuring compliance through regular check-ins and monitoring.Beyond the behavioral conditions, Combs will also be subject to deeply invasive oversight measures. He must submit to warrantless searches of his person, residence, vehicles, and electronic devices at any time. He is prohibited from contacting any victims or witnesses involved in his case and must comply with strict financial transparency requirements, allowing authorities to review his records and transactions. These post-release conditions reflect the government's intent to keep him under a microscope long after his prison term ends, signaling that his punishment and scrutiny will continue for years.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comsource:Sean 'Diddy' Combs faces strict conditions after his 50-month prison sentenceBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-epstein-chronicles--5003294/support.

Oceans cover 71% of our Earth. Formed over 3.8 billion years ago, these vast depths could hold some of the answers to our questions about Earth's long and mysterious history, as well as offer predictions for the future of our planet. And the key might be found in, of all places, rocks. On this episode of Access to Excellence, President Washington speaks with Geoffrey Gilleaudeau, associate professor in the Department of Atmospheric, Oceanic, and Earth Sciences Department in the College of Science, about the past, present, and future of Earth's oceans according to the physical and chemical characteristics of sedimentary rocks.
When 911 operators in Liberty Township picked up the call on April 25, 2024, they heard the frantic voice of someone begging for help. He was bright, affectionate, and only ten years old — a foster child who had already lived through more than most adults ever will. But what unfolded inside the home where he'd been placed just weeks earlier would leave his family shattered, investigators horrified, and the foster care system facing questions yet again. This is the case of a little boy who slipped through every safety net — and paid the price with his life.If you suspect child abuse, call the Childhelp National Child Abuse Hotline at 1-800-4-A-Child or 1-800-422-4453, or go to www.childhelp.org. Sometimes it's too good to hear once. In this emotionally charged flashback episode of The Tragedy Academy, Jay Hicks sits down with Bruce W. Brackett to explore one of the most vulnerable journeys ever shared on the show—from addiction and abuse to art, advocacy, and radical self-love.Bruce opens up about the cycles of trauma, the power of the inner ember that never dies, and how one brutal night at rock bottom led to the symbolic burial of his addiction. Through Bruce's raw storytelling and Jay's deeply empathetic reflections, this episode becomes a living meditation on survival, transformation, and what it means to shine anyway.Listeners will walk away reminded that we are not the sum of our damage, but the authors of what we do next. And sometimes, the smallest ember becomes the bonfire.

Send Austin a Message! Why are so many Christians spiritually suffocating today? In this video, we explore how discouragement is quietly killing courage in the Church—and why true biblical encouragement is far more than positive thinking or soft preaching. Looking at Nehemiah 8, we'll see how God's Word both convicts and strengthens, and why conviction without joy leads to spiritual exhaustion.Too often, churches forget that encouragement is not fluff — it's fuel. Without it, self-righteousness creeps in, guilt hardens hearts, and many silently drift away from God's call. From Frodo's need for Sam to Jesus confronting self-righteous Pharisees, we'll unpack why no Christian can thrive alone and why courage always requires community. If you feel stuck, spiritually empty, or unsure how to move forward — this message will help you understand what's missing, and how God invites you to raise your sails again.

A 30-year-old woman from Alaska will spend the next several decades behind bars after admitting to suffocating both of her infant daughters in separate incidents two years apart. On Monday afternoon, Superior Court Judge Patricia Haines sentenced Stephany Elizabeth Bilecki—formerly known as Stephany LaFountain—to 130 years in state prison, with 85 years suspended. In total, Bilecki will serve 45 years behind bars. Upon release, she will face up to 10 years of probation and will be prohibited from having unsupervised contact with minors under the age of 16 in non-public settings. Bilecki pleaded guilty in July to two counts of second-degree murder for the deaths of her 4-month-old daughter, Chyanne, in 2015, and her 13-month-old daughter, Jasmine, in 2017. In exchange for her plea, prosecutors dropped four additional charges, including two counts of first-degree murder. “The mandatory minimum for both of those is, in fact, 20 years because this was her child in each case,” Assistant District Attorney Elizabeth Crail said during the sentencing hearing. In both cases, Bilecki's patterns of behavior were disturbingly similar. In September 2015, she alerted her boyfriend and her mother that her infant Chyanne was not breathing. Minutes before the grandmother's arrival, Bilecki phoned 911. Initially ruled as a likely case of sudden infant death syndrome, the death was later found to be consistent with strangulation. Two years later, in November 2017, while her husband was deployed, Bilecki called her in-laws to say that her 13-month-old daughter, Jasmine, was not breathing. Again, just before the family arrived, she called 911. This time, investigators took a closer look. They discovered damning internet searches on Bilecki's phone in the hours before the crime, including phrases such as “ways to suffocate,” “ways to kill a human with no proof,” and “can drowning show in an autopsy report.” Days later, Jasmine died from lack of oxygen. With suspicions now heightened, authorities reopened the first daughter's case, ultimately charging Bilecki in August 2018. “Just think about a mother killing both her children over two years, completely isolated events, and what that means,” then-Fairbanks Police Department Chief Eric Jewkes said at the time, characterizing the acts as a horrific betrayal. At sentencing, Judge Haines adopted the state's recommended punishment: 65 years for each murder, with substantial portions suspended, totaling 45 years to serve. Prosecutors said while no amount of prison time can truly heal the wound left in the wake of these crimes, the sentence does bring a measure of justice. “The conduct forming the basis of defendant Bilecki's convictions shocks the conscience,” Fairbanks District Attorney Joe Dallaire said in a statement. “Although we cannot pretend that anything will ever make up for the losses suffered by the fathers of these babies or their other family members, I do hope the convictions and the sentences imposed afford some measure of justice to the families of Jasmine and Chyanne and to the Fairbanks community at large.” Want to listen to ALL of our podcasts AD-FREE? Sarah Boone, 47, has been sentenced to life in prison for the second-degree murder of her boyfriend, Jorge Torres Jr., 42, who suffocated in a suitcase inside their Winter Park apartment. Boone was convicted after a trial that revealed chilling details about the fatal incident, which occurred on February 24, 2020. Boone had claimed that she and Torres were playing a drunken game of hide-and-seek when he climbed into the suitcase, and she zipped it closed as part of the playful activity. However, disturbing video evidence captured Boone laughing while Torres pleaded for his life, begging to be let out of the suitcase as he struggled to breathe. In the footage, Torres can be heard desperately calling out, “I can't breathe.” Boone's callous response, as she laughed, was to compare his suffering to her own emotional pain, allegedly from his infidelity and abuse. “For everything you've done to me,” she says in one video, justifying her actions with an eerie sense of detachment. Boone testified that when Torres managed to get his hand outside the suitcase, she became fearful that he might break free. She admitted to hitting his hand with a baseball bat to keep him inside. Despite Torres' desperate pleas, Boone left the apartment, believing he would be able to escape. She went upstairs to sleep, leaving him trapped in the suitcase overnight. The following morning, she found Torres dead. In her trial, Boone claimed that she never intended to kill Torres and described him as an abusive partner. She alleged that he had previously beaten, raped, and terrorized her. Boone argued that her actions that night were a form of self-defense, stating that Torres had been violent toward her in the past. However, prosecutors and investigators pointed to the stark contradiction between Boone's testimony and the evidence. Video footage captured Boone's lack of remorse as Torres begged for help, undermining her claims of self-defense. Prosecutor Dave Cacciatore highlighted Boone's failure to accept responsibility for her actions, noting that she was offered a plea deal of 15 years in prison on manslaughter charges, which she rejected. Victoria Torres, Jorge's sister, addressed the court, expressing the profound emotional toll the death of her brother has caused her family. “Sarah has caused a lifetime of pain, a lifetime of horrible images, a lifetime of hearing my brother Jorge plead for his life,” she said, visibly shaken. “Such a simple thing as using a suitcase is so triggering, I try not to close it all the way.” The judge took into account the shocking nature of Boone's actions and her lack of remorse when issuing the life sentence. Prosecutor Andrew Bain stressed that Boone's video evidence and her own statements to police painted a clear picture of her guilt. Despite the conviction, Boone expressed a desire for forgiveness, speaking directly to the Torres family in a final statement. “I ask for your forgiveness,” she said, though her plea was met with skepticism, given her behavior during and after the incident. The tragic death of Jorge Torres has left a permanent scar on his family, and the sentence handed down to Sarah Boone serves as a reminder of the devastating consequences of domestic violence and the importance of taking responsibility for one's actions. #SarahBoone #JorgeTorres #SuitcaseMurder #FloridaCrime #DomesticViolence #JusticeForJorge #LifeSentence #TrueCrime #WinterPark Want to listen to ALL of our podcasts AD-FREE? 7-year-old Heaven was brought into the Budha House to be healed. The neighbors who brought her in tried to explain - she had been playing and hanging onto a bar when she fell and hit her head. She is now unconscious. But the healers could just take one look at Heaven and know - the little girl is dead. When Heaven's mom finally sees Heaven's little body - she finds something even more puzzling. Her mouth is filled with cement. Her autopsy shows she was assaulted “front and back” and had these weird little cuts all over her body. On her neck, you could almost make out the 5 fingers that were wrapped around her. Suffocating her. It feels like all the neighbors are in on some big conspiracy. Why do they keep insisting that she fell when it's so clear she did not. What are they hiding? Heaven's mom is going to figure out what the hell happened to her daughter. https://www.change.org/p/justice-for-heaven-and-her-mother Full Source Notes: rottenmangopodcast.com To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices.
