This week on the Redeemed Man podcast, Redeemed director Nate Dewberry sits down with his own pastor, Kyle Jackson, from Church of the Highlands in Columbus, Georgia. Kyle shares openly about the temptations he gave into as a young man and how he found his way back to God. He offers practical advice for men struggling with their faith, searching for purpose, or questioning their worth in ministry. While reading the Bible and attending church are key, Kyle emphasizes the importance of building relationships with people who live out their faith and are guided by the Holy Spirit—these connections, he says, are vital for developing leadership skills and seeing God's work in others.Visit The Redeemed's website for downloadable discussion question sets, show notes, inspirational articles, more resources, or to share your testimony.Join our Exclusive Newsletter: Signup today and be the first to get notified on upcoming podcasts and new resources! The Redeemed is an organization giving men from all backgrounds a supportive, judgment-free environment, grounded in Christian love without demanding participation in any faith tradition, where they can open up about their challenges, worries, and failures—and celebrate their triumphs over those struggles. It was supposed to be a leisurely ride home from an ice cream parlor for Bryan and Lynn Koch on their beloved Harley-Davidson—but that 2015 ride ended in tragedy at the hands of a drunk driver, costing Lynn her life and Bryan his left leg. As Bryan and his three sons worked through unimaginable grief, though, they found comfort in their deep faith, along with lessons about forgiveness and hope. Bryan, a pastor with more than three decades of experience, related some of those lessons in his 2017 book I'm All Right—and he shares them with Nate Dewberry in this week's episode of the Redeemed Man podcast. Singer/songwriter Kristian Stanfill has been leading worship services ever since he was 15 years old; unfortunately, he had a drinking problem for nearly that long. He'd managed to mask it reasonably well for years, “talking around” his struggles rather than admitting to them directly. But it all came to a head in November 2020, when his wife and two best friends finally confronted him and he found himself on the verge of losing “every good thing that God has given to me.” Over the course of his recovery and sobriety, though, Kristian says he's learned a lot about redemption, grace, and the true nature of the freedom God offers us. He's also learned a lot about the importance of being open and honest—with God, our loved ones, and ourselves. Kristian says he's found incredible fulfillment in sharing that message with others, and he shares it with Nate Dewberry and The Redeemed Man audience in this week's podcast.Visit The Redeemed's website for downloadable discussion question sets, show notes, inspirational articles, more resources, or to share your testimony.Join our Exclusive Newsletter: Signup today and be the first to get notified on upcoming podcasts and new resources! The Redeemed is an organization giving men from all backgrounds a supportive, judgment-free environment, grounded in Christian love without demanding participation in any faith tradition, where they can open up about their challenges, worries, and failures—and celebrate their triumphs over those struggles. John Shibley joins The Redeemed Man podcast to discuss how to become a servant leader.  John Shibley is a leadership coach who is spreading the gospel of servant leadership through his podcast, writing, and ministry. Servant leadership means focusing less on one's own power, influence, and accomplishments and instead prioritizing the growth and well-being of those being led—recognizing that we have just as much a responsibility to serve them as they have to serve us. And that's not just a positive management technique, Shibley says, it's walking in the footsteps of Jesus Himself, the greatest servant-leader who ever lived. “Maybe more people are trying to dig in and examine their spiritual side,” he suggests, “and maybe as they dig and understand who Jesus is a little more, they realize, ‘Wow, this was his model 2,000 years ago, what have we been doing this whole time?' ”Visit The Redeemed's website for downloadable discussion question sets,  show notes, inspirational articles, more resources, or to share your testimony.Join our Exclusive Newsletter: Signup today and be the first to get notified on upcoming podcasts and new resources! The Redeemed is an organization giving men from all backgrounds a supportive, judgment-free environment, grounded in Christian love without demanding participation in any faith tradition, where they can open up about their challenges, worries, and failures—and celebrate their triumphs over those struggles.Have a redemption story? I can't be thankful all my life for the things He's given me and then be mad at Him for the things He's taken away,” Miracle says. Today, armed with a wheelchair and prosthetics, Miracle does everything from household chores to coaching his kids' sports teams and running two-mile races.
