He has a genuine passion for personal growth, Sam is dedicated to helping men expand their capacity to embrace their entire lives, including the feminine energy and life force within themselves. For four decades, Sam sought external solutions, hoping that others and the world would save him. It was only through deep healing and radical self-ownership that he discovered his true identity and purpose. As a former highly accomplished tennis player, Sam achieved great success during his college years, earning a scholarship and playing as the top-ranked player on his team. However, when his tennis career ended, he spiraled into a destructive pattern fueled by shame, drugs, and alcohol. This led to numerous incarcerations, multiple rehab experiences, and a life-threatening suicide attempt in 2009.Emerging from the darkness, Sam found his calling and embarked on a mission to guide men in expanding their capacity to fully experience and embrace their lives. He creates a safe space for men to explore their boundaries, lean into their edges, and transcend their limitations—an approach that has transformed his own life.Sam's personal growth journey has taken him to the depths of the Peruvian Amazon, where he sat with shamans for three weeks. He has faced his shadows alongside 332 other men on the Oregon coast and embarked on a profound inward journey during eight months of solo living in Tulum. Now, he is here to guide others back to themselves.Join Sam on this transformative journey as he empowers individuals to reconnect with their authentic selves and unleash their true potential.Sam Gibbs Morris and the Twisted Sisters Unite to give you one Twisted Wild Hippy Ride!Sam Gibbs Morris media links:https://www.facebook.com/samgibbsmorris333?mibextid=LQQJ4dhttps://instagram.com/samgibbsmorris?igshid=NzZlODBkYWE4Ng==https://www.tiktok.com/@samgibbsmorris?_t=8huqQZBW3Lv&_r=1Sam Gibbs Morris | Speaker | Retreats | Leadership Coach | Psychedelic GuideTwisted sister media links :Twisted Sisters Instagram:https://instagram.com/the_twistedsisterspodcast?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=Twisted Sisters Facebook:https://www.facebook.com/the_twistedsisterspodcast?mibextid=LQQJ4dTwisted Sisters TikTok:https://www.tiktok.com/@thetwistedsisterspodcast?_t=8bOZ1NqpeSw&_r=1

In this episode, Allie shares how she is excited to rest and recover and have smaller little bitties... as well as telling you that effort is the most important trait to have. You can be a genius all day... but if you don't make an effort what will you make of it? Use your powers for good and live with a growth mindset. It's okay to run at 1,000MPH if it makes you happy! There is nothing wrong with you... there is nothing wrong with you to not run at 1,000MPH. Whatever your passion is make it count.

    Impact and Character

In this weeks episode Samatha does a solo podcast about Impact and Character. I ( Samantha) have recently been getting asked about a tattoo on my forearm. This tattoo is located on my right arm with the word "Impact" in big bold letters, but the I is replaced with a semicolon (which used as a message of affirmation and solidarity with those who have dealt with suicide, depression, addiction and other mental issues.) It got me thinking about sharing the "why" I got this tattoo and where the meaning came from and what it really has morphed into. Ultimately being " Our lives are made up of a series of Impact." Then as I was going about my day the word "Character" to mind. One thing I really enjoy is focusing on a word and digging into it on a deeper level. Character is the core of a person. Something that comes from deep within and it causes people to have patterns of behavior. These two subjects to the plain eye can seem very different, but in reality they really work together as a whole. Impacts happen every day in many shapes and forms wether we want them to or not. Your reaction and response will show your true character in these defining moments. As you listen I share tools I use in my coaching sessions on how you can better understand yourself on a deeper level and start healing these different parts of yourself.Stay TwistedTwisted Sisters Instagram:https://instagram.com/the_twistedsisterspodcast?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=Twisted Sisters Facebook:https://www.facebook.com/the_twistedsisterspodcast?mibextid=LQQJ4dTwisted Sisters TikTok:https://www.tiktok.com/@thetwistedsisterspodcast?_t=8bOZ1NqpeSw&_r=1Find more on Samantha Mello:Samantha's Facebook:https://www.facebook.com/SamanthaR.Mello?mibextid=LQQJ4dSamantha's Instagram:https://instagram.com/samantha.r.mello?igshid=OGQ5ZDc2ODk2ZA==Samantha's Tiktok:https://www.tiktok.com/@mello_samantha?_t=8d7IFz0s4F8&_r=1

Today on the Twisted Sisters Podcast we share our Toxic Traits. What is a toxic trait you ask? Well Toxic traits refer to habits, behaviors, and ongoing actions that harm others and mostly yourself. Let's be real, We ALL have them. Allie and Samantha have a good laugh this week as they admit their own toxic traits they struggle with personally. This episode is short, sweet and topped with some great humor. The first step is admitting to them right? Second step is laughing about them, because we know no matter what we are always going to have old ones that have now become habits and new ones always being created. What's the Vibe Check this week? In this week episode we talk Ex-boyfriends, cheating, gaslighting and narcissism. Well Samantha dishes about her past boyfriends and shares the classic stories we all have with that one narcissist we wish we never dated. We share tips on how to leave a situation that you know isn't right for you. Allie goes back into her past and shares how she got out of a toxic relationship with her ex and first baby daddy. Being teen Moms who didn't know much about this world we had to learn the hard way. Our hope is that being vulnerable and sharing the crazy and toxic relationships from our past can help someone in the place they are in now or to know you are not alone. In 2022, the divorce rate in America was 2.3 per 1000, which is a decline compared to previous decades, especially between 1960 and 1990. Contrary to experts' predictions, the divorce rate in America fell by 12% during the COVID-19 pandemic. The divorce rate among couples aged 25-39 is 24 per 1000 persons. Older couples divorce less frequently - there are 21 divorces per 1000 persons among adults between 40-49 years of age, while the divorce rate for couples older that 50 is 10 per 1000 adults. These statistics grabbed our attention and we HAD to do an episode. In this weeks episode we discuss the Big D word. Questions arise as to when is it "socially acceptable" to get divorced? When do you "push through" and "when do you throw in the white flag?"Well we don't have all the answers, but we do have our personal experiences. Samantha decides to share a part of her life she has NEVER discussed on our podcast yet. She gets vulnerable, she gets real and even a little emotional.Allie shares her close call to divorce. What did separation looked like for them? What was the breaking moment and how did they find their way back to each other. These are all questions she covers in her honest tell all. The one thing they have in common is their impeccable taste in men from their past dating extravaganzas (insert sarcasm). Ginny created GINpath which is the path she developed, tested & implemented to help others growing through adversity. She quotes, "We all face tough times & have that one story, one that we may not think is big enough to share or manage through, but it's what we do with these stories that really matters!". 'You're My Favorite', is about (Ginny) who has a successful career along w/ a full social calendar, she had little time or care for dating. When a casual encounter brought Chad into her life, it changed everything. Her walls quickly crumbled & she was swept up into a fairytale relationship. Or so she thought... Ginny's life sets into a tailspin as she slowly uncovers the man she fell in love w/ is not the man he is at all. Based on a true story, You're My Favorite shares Ginny's vulnerable & authentic journey of romance, heartbreak & ultimately discovering true love in the most unexpected of places. The story of how Ginny & Allie connected went like this: Allie was sitting in the school pick up line when her friend sent a picture of Ginny's book. She said Allie you need to connect with this Minnesota Local; Ginny Priem. You both have influential podcasts & would be a perfect match to collab... as well as share not only Ginny's story, my story, but your story too; Allie. Allie sat there for a moment & felt insanely triggered… she knew exactly what this book was about. The question she had in her mind was… is this who I think it is about? Is it really about "him"? She thought… Do I even want to share that time in my life… ? Too many repercussions could backfire on everything that she has worked for. Was she ready for this? Allie just knew before she read this book she needed to reach out. She sent a message on IG & she responded immediately. She sent Allie her website & said my 1st chapter is on here feel free to read it. It was a cliff hanger of all cliff hangers. She ordered the book immediately. That night Allie laid there in bed tossing & turning. She COULDN'T have Ginny on the podcast.. it will open too many old wounds... Then all of a sudden her perspective changed.. Everyone deserves to have a supportive partner like yours… you need to do this for the listeners & to help those who need to hear it who are in these situations RIGHT NOW! Be like Ginny, Allie, she told herself! Ginny shares her story & speaks about Post Traumatic Growth. Welcome to The Twisted Sisters! Today, Allie is going to share with you a very powerful tool you can use to make 2023 the best year of your life. It's the very thing that helped her create massive momentum in her life and business - Theming Your Days!Allie first heard about the concept of theming your days in an interview Forbes did with Jack Dorsey, co-founder and former CEO of Twitter and Square. Obviously, he's a pretty busy guy, but he still manages to find time in his days for innovation. Allie wondered how he could make time for creativity and exploration while running two massive companies! Which… she does understand he has a TON of help.. so how does this help the one person show? How could this help her? How does this relate to normal, average people? In the interview, Dorsey explained that he uses a special productivity technique to maximize his output and make time for things that matter. The technique? Give each day of the week its own “theme.” Tasks related to that theme automatically get sorted onto the to-do list for that day. This streamlines your productivity by organizing even those tasks that don't fall on a specific day or time and eliminates the time you might have spent waffling over what to do next. You see, theming your days can help you harness energy, focus, and carry your momentum forward through the rest of your week. Allie breaks it down for you and helps you understand that it doesn't have to be complicated. Whether you work from home, work outside the home, are a stay at home parent, or run businesses... this episode is for you!IN THIS EPISODE, YOU WILL LEARN:- What is day theming?- How to theme your days to make them more enjoyable and productive.- Why theming your days is so powerful.- Identifying your themes for success.- How to schedule your themed days into your calendar.

She began performing for LGBTQ folks at the Over the Rainbow Bar in Downtown St. Paul in 1997. Since then, she and her team at Premier Entertainment have appeared regularly at a number of local venues in the Twin Cities. “Twenty years ago, I was a singer, and then the LGBTQ community welcomed me with open arms. That changed my life, and now I am an entertainer. These years have taught me how a chosen family comes together to support each other and rally together during times of adversity. I feel very fortunate to be able to perform as often as we do, and it's because of the people who spend their time at our shows, some on a weekly basis, and some once a month or so, who give us the opportunity to entertain and do what we love the most. The past 20+ years have been the blessing of my life, and I get weepy just thinking about it".DeDe "Dana" Pagitt, who is Mia's show producer and manager takes song requests during the Mia Dorr Show and banters with the audience. “The music at our shows is reflective of people who are in the audience. Mia was once referred to as ‘a passionate and energetic performer with a repertoire of unparalleled diversity.' I love this description, because it describes her so succinctly. Episode 34!!! Why do I always Self- Sabotage? After our Interview with Alyce Dailey last week I (Samantha) found myself doing a lot of self reflecting. I found myself really checking in with my inner being and asking myself "Are the things I'm doing daily really creating genuine happiness for me or am I just focusing on self-care to help me survive my everyday life?" If I'm being honest I really feel like I have just been focused on surviving lately. Not only have I been just trying to survive, but I felt where I was mentally at the moment was starting to effect my relationships around me. Sometimes I truly believe I can just fake it. But let's be real, those that are closest to us can always see right through B.S. After starting to self-reflect I came across an interview with Dr. Judy Ho. She is the author of the book "Stop Self-Sabotage." So naturally I went and got the book immediately. Then BOOM just like that we had our topic for this weeks episode. Author Judy Ho defines Self-Sabotage as "Getting in your own way despite your best intentions." She uses an acronym L.I.F.E.L- Low or Shaky Self- Concept = Self concept is your image of who you are and how you define yourself.I- Internalized Beliefs = This is the learning theory, which explains how humans gain knowledge, has shown that behaviors are heavily dependent on vicarious conditioning.F-Fear of Change or the Unknown = Humans are creatures of habit. Routines and familiarity comfort our minds, which love reputation as a way to instill calm and manage stress.E-Excessive need for control = Belief in your ability to exert control over your environment and to produce desired results is essential to your well-being.In this episode we break down this acronym and discuss what type of self - sabotaging techniques we are using in their own day to day lives, relationships, health and work. We share our take away from what we found and how we are choosing to move forward in our self- growth and awareness. WE ALSO DISCLOSE SOME SUPER EXCITING NEWS AND THAT WE JUST HAD TO SHARE WITH ALL OF OUR LISTENERS!!!Our excitement is out of this world and can't wait to bring you all along on our journey.Thank you for listening to the Twisted Sisters!

Episode 27 - F*it - Overcoming Obstacles with Amy LedinLess than one percent. That was the five-year survival rate Amy Ledin was given after being diagnosed with stage-4 non-small cell lung cancer in 2013. At just 36-years-old, the news came as a shock. “I wasn't a smoker, I didn't have a history of drugs—I was so surprised,” she recalls about her diagnosis. The impending fear that tomorrow may never come didn't just weigh on her out of her own despair. Married, and a mom to six children, Amy knew if she were to succumb to the grim statistics, she'd leave behind the beautiful life she'd built. So she decided to lean into the fear with unshakable determination, and spun the diagnosis on its head to instead make it the reason she'd take every chance she could. "I went all in on the belief that I would be the less-than-one percent," Amy says.At the time of her diagnosis, Amy was submersed in the fitness industry as an online coach and was well-versed in nutrition and exercise. But she says that at the time, her own mindset surrounding health and fitness was seriously flawed, and she began questioning how she was treating her own body versus the more loving standards her clients were used to. “I had no confidence. I was restricting [foods], overdoing cardio, trying diet trends… I wanted it at all costs,” she says.As she realized that her days were no longer guaranteed, the disconnect she felt between how she was coaching and living was more obvious than ever, and for the sake of her health, it was time to make a change. Amy's determination to survive her lung cancer revved as she researched women who had beat it. Her brain was flooded with positivity. "What you focus on will grow," she says. She directed all her energy into taking a health-focused, holistic approach to exercise and nutrition to support her body, and she set her intentions on believing that she would beat cancer. This mindset shift was exactly what she needed to put her health first, and a few years later, she also developed an important take-action system that she still relies on to this day. Amy's daily agreement cards (DACs) prompt her to examine any areas of her life that she felt she could improve upon, such as spending more quality time with her children, and the following day she'll set her goal as following through on that promise. She credits this daily practice as a way to consciously commit to positivity. In March 2020, when the world put the brakes on due to the pandemic, Amy discovered she'd need to go through another round of chemo. But the news still didn't stop her from staying in the driver's seat of her own life, and she created her first podcast, F*It! While the decision was initially driven by fear, “I got scared. I didn't want to regret anything,” she says, the experience has opened her eyes to just how powerful communicating and sharing can be. “When we don't share our struggles, it can eat at us,” Amy says. “By sharing our ups, and especially our downs, we keep our minds healthy, we connect, and we grow."Connect With Amy -- F*It Podcast on Apple, Spotify, and more! https://open.spotify.com/show/78uB4aUq4MfImBjL2x6NLX?si=7f021b153bb24290 https://youtu.be/IGw2d2o0CVw -- Her Daily Agreement CardsInstagram: Amy_Ledinhttps://www.strongfitnessmag.com/motivation/how-amy-ledins-cancer-diagnosis-sparked-the-life-of-her-dreams/
