We HIGHLY recommend watching this episode on our Youtube, to see the paddles. In this episode of Pad Wives Unfiltered, Sophie and Kirsha have paddles. They have opinions. And they do not always agree.Red Flag Green Flag: the new military relationship edition. Sophie and Kirsha work through the scenarios that every person who has ever started a relationship with someone in the military has either lived through or worried about — and they vote. Green paddle for pad wife approved. Red paddle for get in the bin. And when they land on opposite sides, which happens more than you might expect, that is where the real conversation starts.Scenarios covered include: the first date confession that the job will always come first. The unit friends who already have opinions about you before you have met them. Learning the rank structure when nobody asked you to. The posting news that comes before you feel ready. The homecoming that looks nothing like the TikTok version. The flowers he bought because he knew exactly what he was doing. And several others that are significantly harder to call than they first appear. This is the episode for anyone who is new to military life, navigating a new military relationship, or who has been in this life long enough to have feelings about every single one of these scenarios.Plus — the flags where Sophie and Kirsha genuinely cannot agree are the best bit. And there are several.Follow Pad Wives Unfiltered on Spotify so you never miss an episode. And drop your most controversial flag in the comments — we are making a Part 2.

This week, the girls are reading your stories about the moment you knew you married the right person. After falling down the Love Trapped Podcast rabbit hole about a man who seemingly chose the wrong partner and is still paying the price, Jaci and Chelsey wanted to hear the opposite: the moments that made you realize, without a doubt, that you picked the right one. Listeners share stories of husbands showing up during life's hardest seasons, or small acts of thoughtfulness that meant more than any grand gesture, confirming they had found their forever person. If the podcast that started this conversation was a cautionary tale, these stories are the antidote. A reminder that good partners do exist, and sometimes the clearest signs are found in the little things.!!! Since joining Angel City FC midway through the 2025 NWSL season, Sveindís Jónsdóttir has been a threat. A hot start to 2026 saw her score three goals to go with two assists through the first three games, and she'll be a key to the club's success the rest of the season. But she's also been a threat off the pitch, as she was the consensus pick as the player her teammates wouldn't let their sons date.

South Africa mourns a visionary: The Fox has left the building. In today's episode of BizNews Daybreak, Alec Hogg pays tribute to Clem Sunter, the legendary futurist who mapped South Africa's transition to democracy. We revisit a prescient warning he issued in 2020: that a developing nation cannot prioritize the "Green Flag" of climate change at the expense of its economic survival and entrepreneurs. Also in this episode: The Fed's Hawkish Reality Check: Global markets are on edge after the release of the Federal Reserve's January minutes. With the battle against inflation stalled, officials warn that interest rate cuts aren't guaranteed—and hikes might even be back on the table. 主播:Meimei(中国)+ Maelle(法国) 音乐:Can't take my eyes off you明天就是情人节(Valentine's Day)了。 01. Celebrations of Valentine's Day It's more about intention (心意) than perfection (完美)。 Love doesn't only have to come from a partner (Valentine's Day with your girls)。 Galentine's Day is a new trend these days.02. Pay for the Date It really depends on (取决于) the couple. 有些人会split the bill(AA制),有的couple也会take turns(轮流付),也有人会觉得应该由男生买单(man to pay)。 It's about effort (努力), intention (心意), and feeling cared for (被照顾的感觉). 爱的本质不是谁来付钱,而是是否把对方放在心上(being thoughtful for the other person)。 It isn't just a stereotype 美国有调查显示,约40%-50%的人会在交往三个月内(within the first three months of dating)说出“I love you”。 It's more like, “I have strong feelings for you right now”. Talking about feelings early是诚实的表现,而非轻率(seen as honest, not reckless)。 恋爱大概就是一个在不同的阶段寻找平衡的过程:在相处中不断认识对方(getting to know each other)、沉淀思考(reflecting)、分辨这个人是否能和自己走向未来(discerning whether this is someone you could see a future with)。 It is a time of honesty and evaluation. 这或许也解释了英语中那些情感“缓冲区”表达(softer, in-between expressions)——“I really like you”、“I'm falling for you”,甚至更热烈的“I'm falling head over heels (一头栽进爱里,沦陷)”。04. Red Flags & Green Flags in Dating In Western dating culture, a red flag is more like a warning sign (提醒) - 你的交往对象在这一点上应该要“注意一下”了, not an accusation (不至于彻底否定对方). Red Flags。”(If it makes you uncomfortable, it counts.) 比如对方即使忙不能马上回复,也会说一句:“I'm busy today, but I'll text you later.”(2)最近另一个被反复提到的词是emotional stability(情绪稳定)。 There's no single “right” way to love. What matters most is understanding - of yourself and of others. How do you spend Valentine's Day?

This week on The Nikki & Brie Show, the twins are toasting to the season with a Curious Convos: Holiday Edition—and they've got festive wine in hand and big questions on their minds. From ugly Christmas sweaters to emotional holiday songs, Nikki and Brie explore why this time of year hits so deep. Is it the music? The memories? Or maybe even a little bit of soul-level faith? They reflect on their childhood Christmases, wonder why the season always flies by, and debate whether December niceness is genuine or just peppermint-scented fakery. In classic Curious Convos fashion, it's not all deep talk—there's plenty of fun too. Nikki reads wild headlines about herself and Brie asks the hard-hitting questions like: “How dramatic was Nikki really last Christmas?” They also dig into the traditions they love, the chaos of holiday shopping, and the warm magic of shared meals. Oh—and don't miss their hilarious Holiday Red Flag or Green Flag game, judging the new guy your cousin brings to dinner. As always, they close with a heartfelt reminder: the little moments matter.
