Get song ideas from the time guests arrive until the last dance of the reception. And now your host, Matt Campbell, founder of MyWeddingSongs.com. Welcome to the 75th episode of the Wedding Songs Podcast. I am Matt Campbell. And today I'm gonna be talking about 100 bouquet toss songs to play at your wedding reception. Now, this is when the bride tosses her bouquet. A recommendation would be to have a second bouquet, so that way she can keep her own. That second bouquet is thrown to all of the single ladies in attendance and tradition says that the person that catches it will be the next one to be married. Today's list will be broken up by genre and then starting off with the latest song first by release. If you prefer to read the list or listen to the list you can do so on our website MyWeddingSongs.com Just go to song ideas and bouquet toss on the main menu. While you're there, make sure you sign up for a monthly newsletter of new wedding song ideas. These are great songs that you could play at your wedding, that are not played at every wedding. It also has lists of popular songs, and even after you're married you can play them for your date nights. So let's go ahead and get started with the list the first song is R&B genre "Girl On Fire" by Alicia keys released in 2012 and "Love On Top" by Beyonce in 2011. And the Anthem also by Beyonce is "Run The World (Girls)" with the lyrics - My persuasion can build the nation... endless power with our love...we can devour you'll do anything for me. Who runs the world? Girls. Keri Hilson with "Pretty Girl Rock" in 2010 with lyrics - all eyes on me. When I walk in, no question that this girl's a 10, don't hate me cuz I'm beautiful.  Another Beyonce song, "Diva" in 2008 and "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)". A very popular selection for the bouquet toss by Beyonce in 2008 with the lyrics, don't pay him any attention cuz you had your turn and now you're gonna learn what it really feels like to miss me. When I say “business coach,” you might immediately picture cheesy motivational speakers, a cold hotel conference room, and equally dismal coffee. But business coaching can be the single most significant investment you make in your career or business because it can teach you the ins and outs of the business world firsthand.  Pursuing a business or entrepreneurship coach can act as a great resource for all types of industries. Whether you're a business professional struggling to earn a promotion or an entrepreneur unsure of your next move, the right business coach can set you on a lucrative path to success.  In this episode, we chop't it up with Britney JEANINE, 1st Pivot Coach and Business Strategist who helps entrepreneurs (like you) break the rules, pivot in the community, and learn what it takes to fall back in love with your business and create massive success. She dropped so many gems from successful self-care habits, finding your tribe, securing your peace, and building a supportive community. Also, she answers the age-old question of how to balance #motherhood, wellness, and the constant attacks on our bodies?    Guest website: https://bit.ly/3a24KDj   --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/karmisha-superville/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/karmisha-superville/support

Emma Stewart, Ph.D., is Netflix's first Sustainability Officer, where together with teams from across the company, she seeks to bring Netflix's carbon footprint to net zero, raise environmental awareness through film and television series, and spur conversation on climate action among our hundreds of millions of members in 190 countries.  She previously led World Resources Institute's global work on urban efficiency, climate, and finance. She served on the Board of the U.S. Green Building Council and software company Ecomedes.  She has been a member of the professional faculty at UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business and Stanford Graduate School of Business where she taught “Intrapreneurship for Sustainability”. Emma was rated a “Badass Woman in Sustainability” by GreenBiz, a "top 3 speaker" by The Economist Summits, and has been named a “one of the most powerful women under 45” and an “urban pioneer” by FORTUNE Magazine, a “sustainability insurgent” by MIT Sloan Management Review, and one of the “Top 10 Women in Sustainability” by American Builders. Her work has been featured in The Economist, Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Financial Times, Reuters, L.A. Times, and Environmental Law Journal, among others. She holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Science and Management from Stanford University and a B.A. with Honors in Human Sciences from Oxford University. Emma Joins Sustainable Nation to Discuss: Netflix's Net Zero + Nature strategy Balancing reduction of emissions with offsets Netflix's 5 step screening process for carbon credits Netflix's greatest sources of emissions are strategies to address them Advice and recommendations for sustainability professionals Emma's Final Five Questions Responses What is one piece of advice you would give other sustainability professionals that might help them in their careers? Always look for ways to become a profit center. I remember in a past company I worked for, and also those that I've had the privilege of advising, there's often an assumption that this is a cost center. It's maybe a cost of doing business, it helps the company maintain its license to operate. But I think that's often a lack of creativity. When you look at the product portfolio of most companies, there's a way to make money, to delight your customers, and to align with environmental needs. My advice is always find that journey from cost center to profit center. What are you most excited about right now in the world of sustainability? There's been a real global awakening as to how this touches every living thing, humans of course, as well as non-human species. It's now front page news in every region of the world. Unfortunately, often because it's taking the lives of the most vulnerable with a heat wave or a climate fueled natural disaster or grid outages or sea level rise. But it's not just the impacts that are making headlines. It's now also the fact that companies are mainstreaming this as a way of doing business. The largest financial institutions in the world are setting targets and starting to align their investment portfolios with climate science, and it has become a political dealbreaker. In many parts of the world. You see elections hinge on this topic in many countries. So for better or for worse, it has become front page news, which means there are many more voices in the room. What is one book you would recommend sustainability professionals read? My team and I just finished a book called Generation Dread, which I can highly recommend. It's written by Dr. Britt Wray. It's a survey of the latest research on how climate is manifesting as anxiety among the majority of the population, with the most vocal being gen z and the millennials, but it turns out they're not alone in feeling this dread. On the flip side, they are harnessing that anxiety and that helplessness into action as voters, as consumers, as employees. We found it very helpful and we actually had a team meeting with the author to unpack what it means for us as individuals and how we can better serve our consumers and members. What are some of your favorite resources or tools that really help you in your work? I am an avid reader of Bloomberg News. They cover the intersection of business technology and climate with real sophistication, and they also had the wherewithal to acquire new energy finance. The BNEF outlooks as they're called, on electric vehicles on the energy sector on carbon pricing, you name it, those are excellent. On a more regular basis, I read updates from Fortune. They have a CFO Daily that often touches on sustainability and ESG topics. Carbon Brief is very good. Ceres and NRDC are strong on policy related developments. Energy Weekly and Climate Tech Weekly are really good on the clean tech side. The Hill I find to be quite useful also in terms of the politics, at least in the United States. And lastly, Project Drawdown's work, which was so seminal in a multi-year multi-scholar model of the top climate solutions and how they could be executed. Project Drawdown continues to produce research that we rely upon. Where can and our listeners go to learn more about you and your work at Netflix? Sustainability.netflix.com and also LinkedIn.

She utilizes a client centered approach that includes the importance of collaborating with each client's team of professional and primary caregivers. Carron is passionate about serving youth. She believes that building connections starts with being present. Nine years ago, Carron and two other women started a private practice with the hope to build connections in their community. Their practice, Aster Counseling, specializes in treating anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, and grief and loss. At the beginning of her career, she worked for two nonprofits; the first specializing in sexual abuse and the second working with low-income families and trauma. She currently treats ages four and up and often utilizes family therapy and parental support sessions. Carron is also a presenter for churches, schools and various organizations. She began presenting at the beginning of the pandemic, as she saw a huge need that was not being addressed. She trains local school counselors and recently began writing to provide additional resources to the community. Memorable Quotes: “Life doesn't count for much unless you're willing to do your small part to leave our children – all of our children – a better world. Even if it's difficult. Even if the work seems great. Even if we don't get very far in our lifetime.” - Barack Obama “Be the calm.” - Dr. Michelle Robin  “Hearts that beat to the tune of kindness can change the rhythm of the world.”  - CJ Peterson “As children develop their brains, they mirror their parents' brains, in other words the parents' growth and development, or lack of those, impacts the child's brain. As parent's become more aware and emotionally healthy their children reap the rewards and move towards health as well, or they don't.” - Daniel J. Siegel What You'll Learn: The most important way a parent can support and build connections with their child. This Episode Includes: The mental health crisis and loneliness among our youth. Kids are lonely even when they are with other people because the emotional current of the world is being felt. Co-regulators and the need to start teaching parents and adults how to calm themselves in order to be a presence for an upset child. To become a co-regulator you need to “catch the calm.” Tone and rhythm are more important than the words themselves. Catch the calm. Bring the calm. Be the calm. Patients need to have a connection with their therapist and if they don't it's okay to find another one. People can develop healthier connections by learning how the brain works. Connections allow kids to develop “post traumatic wisdom,” which is their ability to grow or to be stunted. Our thoughts equal who we are and our thoughts equal the data we collect. When we are alone and isolated the only data we are collecting is coming from social media and media outlets. The misconception society tells about independence and success is that you can do it all alone, that you don't need connections. Kids feel like they are not supposed to ask for help. It's important for adults to help them see that they CAN ask for help. Happiness is a feeling that can come and go, it's not a destination. Use the pandemic to challenge the way you go through life - look for ways to build more connections with others. In order to heal yourself, you have to heal your heart. Three Takeaways From Today's Episode: Use the pandemic to challenge yourself to think about the pace you're going. Ask yourself if it matches your core values or is it because it's what the world is telling you? Use the pandemic to develop post-traumatic wisdom. Teachers need to make themselves open and approachable, making a connection possible, and normalizing the idea of asking for help. Parents need to put their phone in another room for ten minutes and give their children undivided attention to show them what it's like to be in a real relationship and help them figure out who they are, not who you want them to be.
