Drawing motorcycle action this well is such a flex. In what may or may not be the last episode in our "thrillers" arc (we're not sure), we discuss Ajin: Demi-Human. Presenting a vision of immortality that can best be described as "badass," Ajin is a story about a select group of humans who cannot be killed, but can project "black ghosts" who, uh, look like cool creepy mummies and fight with balletic grace. And some of them can scream real loud? Welcome to episode 162, our 1 year lockdown anniversary podcast We have a brief look back at our year in lockdown, and start with an apology for last podcast. Skazz talks about the latest released Monster Hunter game, Monster Hunter Rise. Despite being a based on the more modern 'casual' mechanical style of Monster Hunter. Skazz has been enjoying it none the less. he talks about the mechanics changes including the introduction of a more advanced grappling hook seen in previous games, and riding monsters TheSuffolkRam has been playing an interesting short game with Stories Untold. four short episodes base on text adventure, lab testing and using a microfiche to solve puzzles. Ram has watching two shows with a similar theme, people who are immortal and cannot be killed. First off with The Old Guard. Netflix's take on the idea with a small group of superhero style mercenary on the run from people trying to learn the abilities. Then with a Japanese Anime called Ajin: Demi Human. also featuring people discovering there ability's and having to hide from the movement, and a group who decide to fight back We also discuss audiobook hosting and skazz's data hording and our choice of head phones. We also talk about why its not a bad thing to male games unfair. Notes: The next entry in the modern style Monster Hunter series, Monster Hunter: Rise A neat little 2hr puzzle game with Stories Untold A slighly naff live action film based on people who cannot die in The Old Guard The Japanese take on the above, an Interesting series but shows the problem with immortality as a story point in Ajin: Demi Human You can Join us for our next Livesteam on Saturday 10th April 2021 21:30+1 GMT On: Youtube Twitch Also check out our game nights on Tuesdays at approx 20:30 GMT on Twitch: Ska4zzi0us TheSuffolkRam

This week as talked about season 2 of Ajin, and honestly, for the both of us, it was lacking. The story carried the poor animation, again and it certainly did answer some questions, but it left us with more or made us feel empty due to the lack of resolution from both questions being answered, and how it ended. With that, if you ventured into watching season 1 then you might as well give season 2 a watch to finish it up, and maybe in another 6 years, we will get a season 3. What a great choice for this week. It is something that both of us really enjoyed. It had clean animation, books ends and a confusing story, what more could you want? It is a short movie but it is one that you need to pay attention to or you will miss something especially with how it starts off and the progression of the end. It also makes you think and look differently at your dreams it is well worth the watch.
