The Los Angeles Angels recently let pitching prospect Chris Rodriguez be claimed off waivers by the Arizona Diamondbacks, ending what was a promising start to a young Angels career held back by injury. The Super Halo Bros. discuss the departure and how it opens up into a greater conversation; when it comes to draft picks, was Billy Eppler more successful, or has Perry Minasian taken over as the better GM in terms of drafting? Mike has a theory as to why C-Rod was so easily let go, and it has everything to do with the amount of time it's taken for some of the Eppler picks to develop into viable Major Leaguers. On today's show, we'll discuss C-Rod being waived, if Minasian has plans for any of Eppler's leftover prospects, and, are any of those picks, like Jo Adell, on the trading block? As we move into the millennium, Tony Moran's light continued to get even brighter. He remixed some of the most iconic songs and DIVAS of the 21st century that his discography reads like a who's who list in the Party Favorz Diva Hall of Fame. No need to drop names because they're all here. Instead of breaking up his work for the past two decades, I went ahead and combined them giving fans a taste of old and new all rolled into the last 22 years of his career — a career that's still going strong today. I need to comb through the next installment of Thank God It's Disco but otherwise, that set is already in the can and should drop Saturday. Next week, I plan on shaking the release schedule up with some releases that are a bit unexpected before dropping the final two installments of these back to back series the week after. I've been slammed at home with a ton of projects and will be spending the day in Atlanta just as a major storm is coming into town (oh joy). Regardless, I managed to stay on top of everything so for now it's full steam ahead. Until the next time...ENJOY! I want to thank Joe S. and Ludovic D. for their generous donations and apologize to Joe for not giving a shoutout sooner. As we head into the final days of March, Party Favorz is dropping our annual Spring Edition. This newly minted set features the newest and biggest tracks in circuit tribal house music at the moment. When I first started on this project, I was underwhelmed at how few songs were being released and promos I was receiving. Once I finalized the set list and started on the mix — not only did everything come together with ease, but the songs were outstanding in their own right. My initial concern was the quality of the tracks, so I picked up a couple of missed 2018 songs from Beatport only to find out that really wasn't necessary. I included them anyway as they're likely still fresh to most of you. The Spring Edition 2019 is a great kick-off for our new hosting service Siteground — courtesy of your generous donations. Additional thanks go to Nicholas C., Luiz E. M., W. Evan G., and Ignacio G. for helping make this happen. I've got a couple of ideas for Legacy artists but not sure how they'll work out until I start working on them. A new follower emailed and suggested a re-work of the Kim English set and including a never released Razor N Guido remix of "Missing You" — which I may do a bit later. I always listen to suggestions for new Diva Hall of Fame and Legacy entries. Sometimes it takes me a long time before I get around to realizing them, while other times it sounds good on paper but in reality, not so much. Please do not let that dissuade you from sending me your ideas. I will always respond to let you know that I'm taking it into consideration. Do keep in mind that half my audience is North America and the rest is from Europe and South America. I'm starting to get some traction in Japan as well. When I'm considering an artist for inclusion — they need to have the widest appeal across continents in order to have the greatest impact and generate common interest. That being said, you can expect a new Funky Disco House, Underground House and maybe...just maybe one more Trash Disco set in the near future. Until the next time...ENJOY! Given the erratic weather we've been experiencing, the title is a bit misleading. Last week we were in a deep freeze for several days followed by unseasonably warm weather. Now, things have tamped down a bit with cooler temps but it feels more like spring a whole month before we normally would. For now, we'll just pretend it's winter because it most definitely is in certain parts of the country and the world. Maybe, I'll start calling these the Global Warming edition as it relates to each edition in this series LOL. In the interim, here at Party Favorz it's time to get this party started! Finally kicking the year off, I'm dropping the hottest collection of Circuit Tribal House music that's buzzing RIGHT NOW! It takes me a while to move into a different mindset after my entire focus had been trying to overhaul the site. Now that everything has been completed to my satisfaction, I can safely declare that I am back in the saddle again. GIDDYUP! In an ongoing effort to play catch-up, I've scheduled the next EDM Dance Club, Funky Disco House, and Underground House sets to drop over the next several weeks. I've got a great idea for a final 80's dance compilation; a very specific genre that's often overlooked from the decade and possibly some updates to past Diva Hall of Fame entries that need some refreshing. Just so you know, I'm thinking ahead. For now, I'm sure all the boys have been itching for something new to fuel their workouts in anticipation of looking the best they can for an early spring. The Winter Edition 2019 will do just that. Until the next time...ENJOY! Album: Winter Edition 2019 Genre: Circuit, Tribal, House Year: 2019 Total Time: 03:17:33 1. I finally managed to get a set out to you folks before the weekend LOL! Putting this set together is likely one of the easiest I've done in a very long time. From track list to transition, everything just fell into place quite nicely. One noticeable difference is the overall length. Typically, I like to keep these circuit sets tight with heavy editing. This go-around, I left all the songs as is for longer transitions and breaks. For some reason, it just felt right to prolong the ecstasy. The Winter Edition is jam-packed with some big-room floor fillers and features some of the greatest tribal and progressive to come out in a long while. From the blistering opener, Beat Don't Stop to the massive prog treatments Peter Rauhofer has been laying thick on his un-authorized bootlegs to the MASSIVE re-work of the Barry Harris classic Dive In the Pool there's nothing not to like here. You've got your unnecessarily vulgar dick songs NSFW (Have You Ever Seen; Big Banana) and your adolescent misspent youth diatribes (I Get Up, I Love It, Trespassing), which serve up the fierce attitude we gays come to expect on the dance floor. I want to give a shout out to the fabulous Wayne G! Sometimes I don't know what we would do if he were never born. Seriously! What would life be like without his keen sense of electroprogpop that he injects into his work? Frankly, I'm thinking it may be time to induct that gurl into the Diva Hall of Fame. Typical of my style, I allow you to shower off all the dirt and sweat from this long workout with Ennoir (On My Way) by up and coming Dutch producer D-Velro. Once all cleaned up, you'll be ready to jump back into the cesspool once again. ENJOY! Album : Winter Edition 2013 Genre : Circuit, Progressive, Electro Year : 2013 Total Time : 1:40:28 1.
