MONEY FM 89.3 - Prime Time with Howie Lim, Bernard Lim & Finance Presenter JP Ong
We’ve all been there: trying to squeeze into the MRT during morning peak-hour. But, would you wake up earlier to avoid the crowd and save money on public transport? If you’re willing to shift your travel schedules to avoid the morning rush hour, you might be looking at receiving up to 80% in fare discounts. This is part of efforts to better manage peak-hour crowding on buses and trains, especially in north-east Singapore. It is also part of a planned refresh of the Travel Smart Journeys scheme, which will cover more bus services than it did before. So, can this newly refreshed incentive scheme reduce the morning peak-hour MRT congestion in Singapore? And more importantly, will it help to really change public transport users’ behaviours? On The Big Story, Hongbin Jeong speaks with Dr Ong Ghim Ping Raymond, Associate Professor and Deputy Head (Research) in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the National University of Singapore to find out. Magitman on the Virtual Sessions presented by The DJ Sessions 7/29/24 About Magitman - Igal Magitman has proven that even in the increasingly saturated and competitive scene, one can still rise to shine above the rest with enough stamina and raw talent. From the sleeves of labels like 1605, Definitive Recordings, Global Underground, Spinnin Records, Twisted Frequency, Renaissance Toolr oom and so on. To the decks of the biggest DJs worldwide, Magitman has reached the vaulted status of established artist that so many aspiring producers strive to achieve-his music has been licensed for use in Sony PlayStation games. Now with numerous Top 100 best-sellers under his belt along with his mix compilations and artist album, Magitman continues to raise his profile and status as a producer in the industry. As his music has spread around the globe, so has the demand for his own dynamic and energetic DJ performances. A frequent flier already with tens of thousands of miles under his wing, Magitman has played some of the world's best events and clubs in locations from Shanghai, thru Europe, to Mexico & Brazil. Stay tuned for this guy as he never stops surprising fans. _______________________________ One of the global dance scene's biggest surprises of the last 18 months comes in the form of the absolute dance floor devastation brought about by the Israeli progressive duo, Brisker and Magitman. In every corner of the globe, this versatile pair have impacted the very direction of dance music, with earthshaking productions influenced by breaks, house, trance and progressive, and support from a virtual "who's who" of the DJ elite. Since their first release in 2006, Magitman and Brisker Roman have had countless releases and remixes, appearing on such influential and stalwart labels as Baroque, AVA, Audio therapy, SOG, Babylon, Method, Twisted Frequency and Dissident. Their music has been sought out by Sony for use in Playstation games, and by Hernan Cattaneo for inclusion on his Renaissance Compilation, "Sequential". As their music has spread around the globe, so has the demand for their own dynamic and energetic DJ performances; the lads have already logged tens of thousands of miles in the air and played some of the world's best events and clubs in locations from Hong Kong to Brazil and everywhere in between and released their first mix-comp, entitled "Inception". With their momentum building to a fever pitch, 2009 looks set to be the year that the rest of the world discovers Brisker and Magitman, cementing their place among the best the world has to offer. Spring will see the release of their first full-length artist album, along with numerous EP, single releases and remixes. Even more intense touring is sure to follow, with a first North American jaunt already in the works, as well as return visits to East Asia, Europe and South America. If you hear a big sound booming from a pair of decks anywhere in the world, rest assured that the progressive duo from Israel was somewhere in the mix. And if you are fortunate enough, it will be Brisker and Magitman themselves behind those decks, giving new intensity to the term "Peak Hour". Stay tuned- Brisker and Magitman are on the move. I'm going to be honest: the entire dance music scene is in flux right now. Genre lines are blurring, creating chaos for DJs trying to curate balanced sets. While I'm adaptable, the rapid changes are working my last nerve. We've always avoided Dubstep and Drum & Bass due to their mixing challenges and overall intensity. Most listeners don't want an entire set of either genre. This left us with Tech House, Breaks, Bass House, and Techno as our primary sources for the Peak Hour series. Tech House used to be the glue that held all these sets together, but it's undergoing a similar transformation to Afro House—becoming more commercial and less dancefloor-oriented. The influx of Latin House and commercial tracks itno the genre makes finding genuine Tech House a daunting task. Some tracks now fit better in our Funky House series. The term "Melodic House and Techno" is misleading. These genres are vastly different. A prime example is "See You Sweat" by Max Styler and GENESI, a Techno-Tech House hybrid that's currently #1 on the Beatport Melodic House and Techno chart. I almost overlooked it because Melodic House doesn't typically fit our Peak Hour vibe. Breaks and Bass House have been particularly disappointing lately, offering little to work with. It's been a frustrating process. I've reworked this set three times, digging deep for the right tracks and cutting out what didn't work. While most of it is solid, the overall joy of creating these sets has diminished. I'm considering taking a break from this series and collecting tracks I love over the next several months for a future set as opposed to jumping right in and scooping up a bunch of great songs to include that just aren't there. The time commitment to curate a set while sifting through hundreds of weekly releases is unsustainable. Ultimately, I hope this set delivers. Please let me know your thoughts. Until the next time...ENJOY! You might be encountering a surge of tracks labeled "Afro House." But hold on a minute – isn't that what Progressive House used to be called? This trend of rebranding classic genres isn't new. Remember when Deep House morphed into commercial House, then Future House? Great music deserves recognition on its own merits, not through constant relabeling. Speaking of great music, the recent TikTok wave has unearthed some fantastic reworked Progressive House classics. Think genre pioneers like John Creamer & Stephane K, Deep Dish, Scumfrog, and artists who masterfully used heavy percussion – Chus & Ceballos, Oscar G & Ralph Falcon, Friburn & Urik, Peter Rauhofer, and many more. Tracks like Rui Da Silva's timeless "Touch Me" are getting a fresh spin for modern dance floors, and the results are phenomenal! Back to the Future: Revisiting Millennial Dance Music The cyclical nature of dance music trends is undeniable. Right now, the spotlight's on late-90s and early 2000s classics, with artists sampling or revamping entire tracks. It's a trend we wholeheartedly support, and you can expect to hear these gems showcased in future Club Fusion and Peak Hour sets. This trend sparked a trip down memory lane for us here at Party Favorz. Remember our BackSpin series from way back in our early years? Last year, we aimed to revisit the glory days of 2000s dance music, following up on our popular Ultimate 90s House Classics series. We started with a Millennial Dance Classics series, but the sheer diversity of the decade made it tough to curate a cohesive set. After all, massive hits often land in our Top Dance Songs of the Year anyway. So, we decided to resurrect the BackSpin series! This allows us to delve deeper into specific genres that defined the 2000s dance music scene. Each BackSpin release will focus on a distinct genre, with a sprinkle of Trance and Electronica thrown in for good measure. These sets will typically span a five-year period, featuring a mix of crowd-pleasing favorites and some hidden gems ripe for rediscovery – think "It's Love (Trippin')" by Goldtrix and Andrea Brown or "Addicted To Bass" by Puretone featured in volume 1. For those seeking classic remixes by the likes of Thunderpuss, Hex Hector, and Victor Calderone, fear not! We've already covered those in our Classic Circuit Anthems series from 2014. The BackSpin Reboot: A Journey Through Millennial Dance Music Genres The rebooted BackSpin series will explore the vast and vibrant landscape of Millennial dance music, beyond the big remixes.

We've thrown in some Breaks and Trance too, keeping things lively. Our new mix "Vibrate" was knocked out in one sitting. We kept it tight so you won't get bored; the tracks flow smoothly but with surprises to keep the energy high. In other news, we've moved back to our old hosting spot, aiming to settle down. The cost of running our show has been crazy, with some service bills hitting the roof. Not all these services are worth their price, so we're cutting down where we can, but it's still a pricey affair. We hit a snag with our recent move, causing a 24-hour downtime and some missing files. I'm on it, fixing things even on a Sunday. If you're following specific categories on different platforms, hang tight; it might take a month to get everything sorted before they reappear. We're also shaking things up with our donation system, switching to a new provider. More details are coming soon. For now, the donation page is ready (albeit a little sluggish), and if you can chip in, it would really help us cover our costs. I want to apologize for dropping another set on a Sunday (Monday in some parts of the world). I've been juggling personal stuff with updating the website while trying to crank out new episodes, which has thrown off our schedule. We're doing our best to get back on track and make it up to you in the next few months. Hope you all had a great weekend. Get ready for our annual Spring Edition for 2024, specially for our circuit boy fans. Depending on the final tracklist, that set could evolve into two volumes and it appears there will be a second volume of Spring Break 2024. This ambitious endeavor involved a deep dive into our 2023 Club Fusion and Peak Hour releases to compile the most impactful dance anthems that left their mark on the dance floor and resonated as unforgettable earworms. Our selection process focused on streaming numbers from platforms like YouTube and Spotify, complemented by our own personal bias. We've bypassed conventional charts like Billboard, seeking out the true gems that define the year's dance music zeitgeist, far from the repetitive playlists of mainstream charts. Celebrating Variety: The Standout Dance Anthems of 2023 The landscape of 2023's dance music was marked by an exhilarating variety. While many tracks echo the timeless allure of House Music, this year's biggest dance hits have ingeniously woven elements from classic dance anthems into fresh, vibrant creations. This blend of homage and innovation has injected a rich diversity into today's dance music scene, moving beyond monolithic trends. 2023's Dance Music Evolution: From House Roots to 'Jump House' Innovation One standout trend we've christened at Party Favorz is "Jump House," a thrilling evolution in dance music tempo, breaking the 130 BPM ceiling and soaring towards 145 BPM (and sometimes higher). Volume 1 of our Top Dance Songs of 2023 features these high-energy tracks, including hits like cassö, Raye & D-Block Europe's massive "Prada" (142 BPM), a Techno reworking of the Rihanna classic "Disturbia" (141 BPM), Calvin Harris & Ellie Goulding's "Miracle" (143 BPM), "Desire" by Calvin Harris & Sam Smith (140 BPM), "When We Were Young (The Logical Song)" by David Guetta & Kim Petras (140 BPM), and many others. These tracks blend pulsating beats with a nod to early millennium Trance, Techno, and House reminiscent of the Hard Dance era of the 2000s. Yet, this surge in BPM doesn't overshadow the enduring appeal of Future House and classic House Music. Tracks like John Summit & Hayla's "Where You Are" and Peggy Gou's "(It Goes Like) Nanana" have dominated the scene, proving that the heart of dance music still beats strong in its foundational genres. At Party Favorz, we've long championed diversity in dance music, advocating against a homogenized sound. Thankfully, 2023 has been a year of rich musical diversity, breaking away from the generic soundscapes that often dominate mainstream platforms. Exploring New Horizons: SoundCloud's Rise in the Dance Music Scene We're going to go out on the limb here and say that SoundCloud really is your best friend (even more than Spot...

We kick things off with a smooth blend in "Let's Do It Tonight," which marries Daft Punk's iconic "One More Time" with Pitbull & Ne-Yo's "Give Me Everything." Daft Punk doesn't stop there; Sean Finn & Ghostbusterz offer their own take on the 2013 hit "Get Lucky." Moving through the set, Madonna's classic "Like a Prayer" gets a current spin by Lady Bee. Other gems include Johnny Gamble's update on Nelly's "Hot In Herre" and a refreshed version of No Doubt's "Hella Good" by Niko the Kid & Benson with a multitude more too numerous to mention. Fresh Dance Club Anthems and Genre Trends Marlon Hoffstadt & DJ Daddy Trance are shaking things up with "It's That Time," a Jump House track that's irresistible. Jazzy follows suit with another chart-topper in the same genre, "Feel It." Kry (IT) and Per QX aren't far behind, delivering the sizzling house track "Get That Groove On." Sunday Scaries & Kaleena Zanders give us "Dance No More," which features a familiar but elusive hook. Neither would be out of place in our Funky House series. Chart Dominators and the Latest Sensation James Hype and Kim Petras are killing it with "Drums," a track currently topping the Beatport Dance Chart. Close on their heels are Arcraze, Joey Valence, & Brae with "Heard It Like This," a Bass House track that's making waves. Amsterdam's Mau P is the latest sensation with "Dress Code," a track that's taking over DJ setlists and charts alike. Probably the biggest dance club anthem at the moment is "Prada" by cassö, RAYE & D-Block Europe, which was featured on our "Summer Farewll 2023" set. We now have official remixes and Ronnie Picitti delivers a high volume Trance remix that's guaranteed to the light the dance floor on fire. We have another electrifying remix going up on our Peak Hour set next week. Sure, we've sprinkled in a few gems from the late 70s, but the spotlight is mainly on the 80s. Let's jump into it. Opening with a Bang: "Driver's Seat" Kicking off the set is "Driver's Seat," a 1979 classic from Sniff 'n' the Tears. Block & Crown bring it to 2021 with their House remix. It's a tune that has graced numerous commercials and TV shows. Although it peaked at only #15 on the U.S. charts, many of this remember this earworm fondly. Unexpected Remixes: "Sultans of Swing" One delightful surprise here is Block & Crown's fresh take on Dire Straits' 1979 mega-hit "Sultans of Swing." They titled their version "Swingin Sultan," and it's a beauty. This remix stays loyal to the original while adding a modern twist, making it a perfect throwback. Rock Classics Reimagined Speaking of rock, we've got more. The Knack's 1979 hit "My Sharona" gets a Funky House twist, thanks to Grooveband and Ghostmasters. Block & Crown also rework Ram Jam's rock staple "Black Betty," ensuring that these remixed songs from the 80s and late 70s keep the dance floor buzzing. Disco Gurls on Tina Turner's "The Best" Disco Gurls dazzle us with their modernization of Tina Turner's anthem "The Best." Titled "U're Simply The Best," it preserves the original's spirit while injecting it with a new groove. If only this had been available for our Tina Tribute set. A Smorgasbord of Modern Takes on 80s Classics For those craving more, we've got a plethora of modern remixes your 80s-loving heart will adore. From "Should I Stay or Should I Go" by The Clash to "Hungry Eyes" by Eric Carmen, we've covered it all. Others like "One Night in Bangkok" by Murray Head and "Your Love" by The Outfield get their much-deserved spotlight. Authenticity Matters Although about half of these tracks feature the original vocals, the rest utilize talented soundalike artists. But don't let that sway you! These remixed songs from the 80s and a few from the late 70s offer a fresh, nostalgic journey worth taking. A couple of mashups even make an appearance, adding extra flavor. What's Next? Whether you grew up in this era or are a fan looking to discover these classics, this throwback set is a treasure. Stay tuned for our Fall Edition 2023, which will be dropping soon, along with new episodes of Peak Hour and Club Fusion. Until the next time...ENJOY! Get ready to "Break the Floor" with the latest Peak Hour set, a banging collection of some of the summer's hottest Tech House and Techno songs. Oh, and it's not just your ordinary set. Let me break it down for you: If you're craving that late-night vibe with a mix of Breaks, Bass House, and Big Room, this is the set for you. I'm talking tunes that'll practically blow a hole through your speakers! The energy in this Peak Hour compilation is through the roof, mixing fresh Tech House and Techno beats. CASSIMM's "In My Mind" is a standout, showing the artist's versatility, crossing over into House, Funky House, Tech House, and beyond. This is a Party Favorz favorite for sure. Then, there's the competition between Skrillex x Boys Noize "Fine Day Anthem" spinning the classic "It's a Fine Day" by Miss Jane into an unforgettable dancefloor gem. Ever thought about how classics like "Born Slippy" by Underworld could get a new twist? Meduza does just that, bringing their signature style with "Friends", and others like Sam Supplier & Marlon Sadler turn the Alice Deejay classic "Better Off Alone" into a Peak Hour Tech House sensation. Techno lovers, don't worry, Eli Brown's got you covered with "Love Is Free." It was only a matter of time before Los Del Rio's 90s classic "Macarena" got sampled and Dave Winnel's "Alegria" gives it a Tech House facelift that's pure fire! And don't get me started on "Eat Your Man" by Dom Dolla & Nelly Furtado – that's getting play EVERYWHERE. "Break the Floor" almost didn't see the light of day, but trust me, the final version's worth the wait. It's a testament to Party Favorz's commitment to only bringing the freshest tunes to the table. Whether you're a Tech House enthusiast, a Techno addict, or just someone looking to spice up your Peak Hour dance sessions, "Break the Floor" has something for everyone. Don't miss out on this one. With it comes a soundtrack like no other - the top dance songs of summer 2023. HEAT 2023 episode has curated an eclectic selection that will take you on a wild ride through House Music, Tech House, Future House, and Progressive House. Let's kick things off with a blast from the past - Rihanna's bop "Don't Stop The Music", reincarnated by ATCG. This version brings new vigor to a beloved classic, infusing it with an electrifying House beat that commands you to get moving. Next up, Tim Hidgem transports us back to the 80s with his reinterpretation of George Kranz's industrial marvel, "Din Daa Daa". Hidgem adds a fresh twist to the original, turning it into an irresistible summer anthem. Who can resist the allure of 90s techno, especially when it's the iconic "It's A Fine Day" by Miss Jane? Cloonee takes on the challenge of modernizing this classic, resulting in "Fine Night", a track that's as tantalizing as a starlit summer evening. There's also an excellent version called "A Fine Anthem" by Skrillex x Boys Noize which will be making an apperance on next week's Peak Hour release. And that's not all. The EDM maestro Zedd breathes new life into "Where You Are" extending the life of this massive hit by John Summitt & Hayla from the spring. The remix strikes the perfect balance between the charm of the original and Zedd's signature electro-infused style. As the sun reaches its zenith, we're whisked away down under with Australia's Midnight Dance Party and their sun-soaked anthem, "Sunshine". This tune is quintessential summer - warm, carefree, and absolutely irresistible. When it comes to top dance songs of summer 2023, nothing captures the season's vibrancy better than the high-energy beats from Gabry Ponte & Hosanna's "One By One" which samples the 90s the Deep Dish remix of the House Music classic "Make the World Go 'Round", Nathan Dawe, Joel Corry & Ella Henderson's "0800 Heaven", and Calvin Harris' collaboration with Sam Smith, "Desire". These are the tracks you'll find yourself blasting on repeat as the temperatures rise. Switch Disco throws a curveball our way with their energetic mashup "React" and Inpetto's remix of "Toca Me" by Fragma. The result? A floor-filling masterpiece. Meanwhile, Dirty Disco reinvents Troy Sivan's uber-gay "Rush", taking this sultry hit and reimagining it as an anthemic Big Room House tune. MinoKy · Troye Sivan - Rush (Dirty Disco Pillow Biters Remix) The current top dance song on the Beatport dance chart, "Nanana" by Peggy Gou, also makes the cut. Party Favorz is dialing back the clock and pumping up the volume with funky house music that blends the nostalgic charm of old school music from the 80s, and 90s with the rhythmic energy of the 00s. Every track in our Summer Throwback 2023 playlist is like a sunbeam - a bright reinterpretation of those beloved party classics, remixed with a contemporary twist. From full-length masterpieces to sampled layers of different eras, each song blends old school charisma with modern magic. The result? The perfect soundtrack for a pool party or BBQ bash with friends this summer. Block & Crown (Adri Block) reign supreme in the niche sphere of Funky House Music, with Ghostbusterz, Nari, and Richard Grey adding their unique spark to this vibrant genre. Our summer throwback playlist is a tribute to these maestros of funky house music. The tracks in our Summer Throwback 2023 collection aren't just memorable - they sparkle with fresh productions, capturing your heart like never before. Since last year's Summer Throwback release, I've been amassing these tunes, handpicking each one to create a soul-stirring, foot-tapping experience. After a marathon session of curating, mixing, and tweaking, the initial playlist boasted over six hours of toe-tapping tunes. They posed a unique challenge, many lacking DJ-friendly intros and outros, but we're all about facing challenges head-on here at Party Favoz. Even after trimming it down by an hour, we're left with a substantial party mix that promises endless hours of enjoyment. The past couple of weeks have been a whirlwind of projets, and the upcoming weeks promise even more of the same. Nevertheless, I'm committed to providing the best of summer vibes. Keep an ear out for a new Beach House, Peak Hour (fingers crossed!), Top EDM, and our annual Summer Edition - all landing over the next month. That being said, I can't help but notice a trend in the dance music industry. The volume of new releases is declining, particularly in commercial dance. Gone are the days when big music labels paid top-tier DJs to remix their tracks. Even remix bootlegs are getting scarce nowadays. Genres like Tech House, which once dominated dance floors, have been diluted, and now, Bass House and Big Room is stepping into the limelight. However, most of it echoes the sounds of Future House and EDM, which themselves were successors to Electro House. Personally, I see potential in the Breaks or Breakbeat genre, but I'm aware of its limited appeal. Even Techno can be a bit redundant but when it's done right — it's hot! This year hasn't seen many ground-breaking tracks capable of electrifying dancefloors worldwide. Billboard Magazine discontinuing its Dance Club chart could be a significant factor behind this. Instead, we're seeing songs primarily made for streaming, with no extended versions, and a lack of originality in the new releases that heavily rely on past hits. Let's face it — these songs are not paying homage rather they're being lazy in writing and creating new sounds. This scarcity of fresh content is likely to lead to shorter sets, with Dance Classics compilations being the exception. What's concerning is the growing trend of music charts being skewed by tactics like bundling CD sales with ticket sales and merch, and having all the tracks off an album by the biggest artists charting without official releases or videos. Frankly, Spotify is the bane of my existence and has been the worst thing for the entire music industry. Everything is about singles and streaming with only the biggest artists profiting from it. It's completely destroyed the validity of the Billboard Top 100 and album chart, with Billboard being complicit in how they're now ranking songs. With Spotify stuffing big releases into everyone's playlist no matter if they follow the artist or not — it's starting to give the appearance of RICO violations or what used to be known in the industry as pay to play but I digress because I'm not a lawyer only a music fan. This is NOT an indictment of their service, but if it walks like a duck... Despite these tectonic shifts, the role of Party Favorz remains the same. Our mission is to navigate through the dynamics of the industry, bringing you the finest and most innovative trends in Tech House, Bass House, Techno, and beyond!

This set is a grand collection of the hottest House Music, NuDisco, and Deep House tracks presently igniting dance floors worldwide. Consider "Feel the Groove" your early ticket to our upcoming pre-summer music extravaganza. This funky house music set starts off with a bang, featuring a fresh reinterpretation of the Soulsearcher classic "Feelin' Love" by DJ Fudge. This is quickly followed by Earth N Days' big room funky house track, "The Kinda Love". Earth N Days have been a staple in our sets since they exploded onto the scene in 2017 with "Just Be Good To Me" – a track that bagged the top spot on Beatport's year-end charts. Since then, they've been churning out tunes that any DJ, regardless of their experience level, would be proud to spin. Notable Earth N Days' contributions in our set include "In My House" and their remix of Hotswing's "Work It". We've also refreshed some all-time favorites for this set, including Eelke Kleijn and Lee Cabrera's spin on Laura Branigan's "Self Control", Buth & Nic Fanciulli's reinterpretation of Marvin Gaye's "I Want You", and the 90s House classic "Another Sleepless Night" revamped by Shawn Christopher & Mike Wilson. In an unexpected twist, Shapeshifters have even revisited their own classic, "Lolas Theme", giving it a new life through a VIP remix. Arguably, the titan of this set is "Fresh" by Crazibiza. This track ingeniously samples "Private Number" by Judy Clay & William Bell (1968), intertwined with the iconic vocals from "Somethings Got a Hold On Me" by the legendary Etta James, which was also famously sampled in Avicii's "Levels". The intertwining of these samples is not entirely new and was initially heard in "You Wish" by Nightmares On Wax, featured in our 2011 Chill Edition, "The World We Live In". But as the adage goes, a good sample is a good sample, and Crazibiza has indeed made it even better. A quick personal update: As some of you may recall, Rick and I were victims of a flooding incident last Christmas, which displaced us into temporary housing. But we're happy to report that our unit has been fully restored and we're moving back in next week. Anticipate our next Peak Hour set to drop a bit earlier than usual – on Thursday of next week. Until then, we invite you to dive into the latest funky house music for summer with "Feel the Groove"! Until the next time...ENJOY! A rich compilation of some of the biggest dance hits from 2003 to 2004, this offering is a must for any dance music enthusiast, featuring unedited epic tracks allowing you to relive the era of massive remixes. One standout DJ/producer from this era encapsulated in this Top 2000s Dance Music Classics collection is Dave Audé, a preferred choice for remix production. With an abundance of rock remixes from artists like Jacques Lu Cont, Thin White Duke, Les Rythmes Digitales (a.k.a. Stuart Price), Jason Nevins, and Lindbergh Palace, this set offers a diverse mix of genre hits. Interestingly, all these remix artists have worked with Madonna at some point, with Stuart Price being instrumental in producing "Confessions On a Dance Floor" and leading her "Confessions Tour". This Top 2000s Dance Music Classics volume also showcases other noteworthy DJ/producers like Gabriel & Dresden and Junkie XL, recognized for their progressive remixes that harmoniously blend Trance music with rock-dance. The period also saw the rise of Electro House, with Benny Benassi's remix of Goldfrapp's "Strict Machine" and his debut single "Satisfaction" pioneering the genre into mainstream popularity. While Electro House was gaining prominence during this period, Party Favorz hasn't overlooked the underground hits from genres like Trance, Progressive House, and House music. However, most of the mainstream hits are reserved for our 'Top Dance Songs of the Year' series. We are geared up to release Volume 3 of the Top 2000s Dance Music Classics mid-week, followed by a final volume next weekend. Expect some Disco House and Peak Hour tunes to keep the party vibe alive. So, don't wait! Dive into the memorable sounds of 2003-2004 with Party Favorz's 'Top 2000s Dance Music Classics' Volume 2! Until the next time...ENJOY! Commuters, experts talk about a new ADB report and a way out for bus-starved BMTC Hello and welcome to DH Radio. The Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC), with its grossly inadequate fleet of about 6,500 buses, has a huge problem. But, as a recent Asian Development Bank (ADB) report shows, there is a possible way out: Route rationalisation. For instance, the report says that just by increasing its peak-hour schedules and diversifying its routes to under-served areas,BMTC can both increase its revenues and reduce commuter wait times at bus stops. To understand this in more detail, DH Radio's Rasheed Kappan speaks to Shaheen Shasa from the Bengaluru Bus Prayanikara Vedike, designer and commuter Chinmay Dholakia and retired Director, Operations, KSRTC, Rajkumar.
