Born and raised in Casablanca, Morocco, Fassi found his way to electronic music after his move to Montreal, discovering the city's eclectic club scene. Although he calls Montreal home, he says his heritage is "interesting" and he tries to take bits where he can to incorporate into his own music. When Djing, the sets are buttery and pulsing, with thick, punchy drums to punctuate. Melodies are what the Czech Republic based producer is known for and he showcases that on both ‘Spielberg' and ‘Sunday Sun'. Around Us is a DJ / producer duo from Amsterdam who are making serious waves since 2018. Working diligently day in, day out, growing and developing their style. Respected by their colleagues and admired by the people who consume their music on the dance floor. This is Around Us. The boys quietly joined forces, without fanfare or noise and they produced since that time a lot of productions. Today in 2021, all the key players know Around Us. With the world's top DJ's such as Sasha and Hernan Cattaneo playing their productions, the future looks bright for Around Us. Sasha hammered their "Absentis" track and Cattaneo regularly aired productions such as Sleeping Blue, Bamboo, 8 Steps and United in his DJ sets and podcasts. In their own words, Around Us is “about melody”. Jan said “We look for strong melodies”. However, we do not label ourselves progressive house or melodic techno. Gaby has a slightly sunnier melodic vibe than me, I tend to go more darker and stronger in my melodies. Above all, Around Us always remains deep”. How we know "The Groove Collection" and Jerry? Jerry was a regular visitor on my panama parties where I was resident dj for the john digweed, Dave Seaman, Sander Kleinneberg and Sasha evenings. From one thing came another and we spoke several times about music and became friends. After a year or so he had a bookings agency, GC Bookings, where he asked us to be part of and so we did. De website, the groove collection, was were i met likeminded producers and djs like 16 bit lolitas etc on the forum and that is why i always have love for the groove collection because it all started in the early days where the groove collection was part of. Jan aka Schaamteloos dj's, Analog Effect, Around Us   Since the start of my DJ career in 1990 the progressive sound find its way throughout the years and I always heard the name Jerry van Schie in the scene. I never had the change to meet him or speak to him, but we've cross paths many times. I knew his face but wasn't aware at that time he was Jerry. But what I know is that he was a true pioneer in the dutch progressive scene and, like me, a helpful guy that always thought about putting others in the spotlights and I know many dutch dj's and producers owe a lot to him. He mainly creates electronica, experimental, house, disco. Marijus is working on his projects: Ten Walls, Mario Basanov and newly born Hindemit. As a Ten Walls he released his debut EP "Gotham" back in May 2013 through “Innervisions”. It was followed by "Requiem" in December of the same year through Italian electronic music label “Life And Death”. In September 2014 Marijus smashed the release of "Walking with Elephants" which made to the tops of UK Singles Chart. Following year in 2015 he released a single named "Sparta". In 2016 Marijus created a company named “Runemark” and released another big hit “Italo”. Ten Walls worked on multiple projects, remixes, collaborations etc. Year 2017 – Ten Walls released a double album “Queen”. In 2020 Marijus released an album “Lights For The Dreams” for his Ten Walls project. Ten Walls recently at the end of 2020 released an EP “U Turn” through the label “Click Records”. Marijus' dream came true. Ten Walls made a collaboration with Lithuanian Symphony Orchestra. The project named “Symphony” gathered his fans across Lithuania to hear his own music performed by the orchestra. There will be more surprises regarding this project very soon. One of the most interesting experiences that Marijus had during the pandemic was to create music for the videogame Moonray. Ten Walls has lots of news for his fans.
