Lewis Raymond Taylor (Convicted Criminal to 8 Figure Coach CEO & Founder of The Coaching Masters)Description:In this riveting interview, Niall delves into the remarkable story of Lewis Raymond Taylor, a man who transitioned from a troubled past, marked by criminal activities and incarceration, to becoming a successful entrepreneur with an 8-figure coaching empire.Lewis Raymond Taylor's journey begins in Hertfordshire, near London, where a tumultuous upbringing, characterized by an emotionally distant mother and an abusive father, set the stage for a challenging adolescence. Seeking attention, Taylor's path led him down a destructive spiral of criminal activities and drug use. At the age of 18, a series of offenses culminated in a youth prison sentence, a pivotal moment that failed to deter him from a life of crime. The turning point came in his mid-20s, amidst battles with mental health, bereavement, and a suicide attempt. A violent altercation resulting in an 18-month prison sentence became the catalyst for change. Within the confines of prison, Taylor underwent a profound transformation. Confronted with the stark reality of his life, he embraced the need for change, recognizing the destructive patterns that had defined him for years. One key moment during his incarceration involved a comparison of two images of himself, seven years apart, revealing a life marred by the same destructive behaviors. This realization became the impetus for Taylor to take responsibility for his actions and forge a new identity. In prison, he actively pursued rehabilitation through workshops and educational programs, laying the foundation for his journey post-incarceration. Upon his release, Taylor entered a 6-month rehabilitation program, during which he discovered his innate value through providing life advice. This realization birthed The Coaching Masters, evolving from a mindset coaching venture into a 7-figure coach training academy spanning 47 countries.Taylor's story is one of resilience, personal growth, and the transformative power of taking responsibility. From overcoming addiction and mental health struggles to establishing a thriving online coaching business, he exemplifies the capacity to turn adversity into an asset. Currently residing in Bali, Taylor shares his story globally, emphasizing the importance of changing one's identity, overcoming challenges, and shaping a fulfilling life and successful business through a positive perspective.

In one of the most candid episodes yet of Inclusion Unlocked, Sasha is joined by Lewis Raymond Taylor. Lewis is the founder of global coaching phenomenon the Coaching Masters and has been listed among the top 10 coaches in the world by Yahoo Finance.Lewis recently featured in recent Netflix documentary, the Psychopath Life Coach, a powerful and, in parts difficult, watch tracking how childhood trauma and abuse led to a life of crime and self-sabotage. Having been diagnosed with antisocial personality disorder, emotionally unstable personality disorder and bipolar disorder, the documentary explores the uncomfortable question of whether Lewis has managed to turn his life around after a deeply troubled start - or whether his success is simply rooted in manipulation. Lewis shares incredibly open insights into both his personal journey, and the positive and negative responses he has received since the documentary aired. We take a deep dive into identity, behaviour, and how the self beliefs formed in childhood continue to distort our reality as adults. This is an open discussion highlighting the impact of early trauma - but there is also a great deal of inspiration here. Lewis's experience of "flipping the script" is powerful, as is his view on the immense value coaching holds to unlock our inner potential. If you have watched the documentary, I would urge you to put any views and opinions to one side, and dive into the discussion.Trigger warning: This episode covers content some may find challenging, including childhood abuse, addiction and suicide. Dan chats with inspirational speaker Lewis Raymond Taylor, who shares his unbelievable story of transforming from a violent criminal and diagnosed psychopath to a successful entrepreneur and life coach. They dive into Lewis' traumatic childhood, descent into alcoholism and addiction, multiple stints in jail, and eventual road to recovery. Lewis explains how rehab and self-development changed his life trajectory, leading him to build a massively successful coaching business. He offers honest insights into living with psychopathic traits and provides hope for anyone seeking major life changes. KEY TAKEAWAYS Lewis endured childhood trauma like an alcoholic father and sexual abuse, leading to violent outbursts and addictions. Jail time only worsened his mental state. A singular traumatic rejection triggered Lewis' shocking suicide attempt, slitting his own throat. He constantly sought attention and significance through violence. In rehab, Lewis realised he was the root of his problems and needed to change. He became "addicted" to personal growth and helping others change their lives. Lewis leveraged his troubled history and rehab learnings to quickly build a multi-million-dollar coaching business, The Coaching Masters. He admits to still having psychopathic traits but channels them productively into business strategy, detached from destructive emotions. Voids like lack of parental love drove Lewis' harmful addictions. Constructively filling voids with service led him to significance and success. Despite immense childhood setbacks, Lewis' story proves with self-awareness anyone can transform their trajectory at any time. BEST MOMENTS  "I started punching myself in the head as hard as I could because I was so angry at myself for being this bad kid." "When I hit him, he hit his head on the ground, and I looked over him, and there was this slow, dark trickle of blood coming out of his head, and I thought, I'd killed him." "Your best thinking, your absolute best thinking, has put you into prison, and now into rehab. Maybe your brain needs a good wash." "The moment I realised that was the problem, I was like, fuck, I'm also the solution." "If you can change your mind...you spiral into control. And that's not an expression you hear often. My life spiralled into control." And though they will ask me, they will want to know, I always think it's a funny question, they will want to know, kind of exactly how much work is required? Like, how much of my time is this gonna take, which I understand some of them have other jobs or, you know, coaching is like a part time thing, or, you know, whatever, there's some some circumstance in their life that they're trying to figure out, like, how much time do I need to set aside? And I always have a hard time answering that, because I know there are people like you who show up who take the homework very seriously, who probably spend more time than the average person in the mastermind, really thinking about it and going very deep, and maybe not every single week, and I don't even give homework every single week, but just really going all in right diving in saying what I'm gonna get everything I can out of this. I'm willing to go all the way there. And then I know there are people who come and it's a little more surface level. And they're like, Yeah, that was great. And, you know, probably don't spend as much time as you did. And I'm curious what like, what are the thoughts that you have about not even my mastermind, but just anything that you go into? Like that any? You know, other masterminds, other spaces that you're in? What are your thoughts about it that help you to show up that way?Melissa: So I think, you know, I think when I sent the money to you, when I paid for the six months, I instantly was like, I'm showing up big, right? Because this is an investment. And I'm investing into a kada looked at coaching masters, like I'm building a house, right? And like, this was like the floor of the house, right? Like this is going to be what is going to stabilize my business. And I want to be known as like the best life coach for mom entrepreneurs. But in order to be that, I'm going to have to learn how to answer and ask very good questions.Find the FULL Transcript here: Season 7: Episode 6: Coach

Can you introduce yourself? Tell them who you are and a little bit about what you do. Melissa:Finally, I get to be on the podcast that I have listened to every episode, and have stopped you for so long. I'm like so excited. My name is Melissa Wiggins. But everybody calls me Mama bears specifically coach Mama Bear. Because I have so many children. I an entrepreneur who coaches mom, entrepreneurs to have balance and joy in their life today, not waiting for the weekend. And I'm an advocate for being a business woman who loves her business, but also loves to hang out with her kids.Lindsay:  I love that one of my favorite things when I have people on, especially people that have been in my mastermind, and that I've seen do the work on this is when you can just confidently are like this is who I am. And this is exactly what I do. Because I know it was something that you kind of worked on for a little bit, which we'll get into. But first I want to ask you, I feel like this might be with you a loaded question. Because in my mind when I watch you and I watch your watch on Instagram, and your stories and all the things, and I know a little bit of your story, it feels like you've lived 20 lives, you have just so many stories. So I'm curious. I don't even know if this is going to be a simple answer. But I'm really curious how you got into coaching?Melissa: Sure, it's a great question I have had maybe lives, I feel like I'm an old soul, you know, like, I'm the oldest of five kids. And I feel like when you're the oldest, like you tend to grow up maybe a little bit faster. And there was like a lot of things that happened in my childhood that sort of made me grow up really quickly. And I feel like I just got super responsible, super organized super quickly, which means that like my life looks like I'm like a 60 year old already. But I got into coaching because I have been coached mentored for about 13 years. And I was transitioning out of my last job, which was the executive director slash CEO of my nonprofit that I started. And I was like trying to figure out like, what I was going to do, and I was talking with my coach, because I've had a coach for a long time. Find the FULL Transcript here: Season 7 Episode 5: Coaching Masters with Lindsay Dotzlaf, Part One

HIGHLIGHTS: Why Lindsay thinks relationships are critical for reputation How she finds places to network What pitfalls to avoid when starting your coaching business QUOTES: "It's like the very first step for me was identifying as a life coach and just being able to tell people that that's what I did." "I didn't look specifically for entrepreneur groups or marketing groups, things like that. I was just going to meet other business people to talk about my business." "What I teach is, “But don't forget to also be a really good coach” because that helps with all of it. If you know, “My clients get results. I am really good at what I do,” it's going to affect everything. In life many times we are presented with situations where we must decide whether to give up or try again, sometimes we must dare to change the process, but not the goal. In those cases it is necessary to trust our instincts, let ourselves be carried away by what we feel will guide us to the goal. Taking risks, undoubtedly risks are big steps that are not always easy to take, but that is necessary to achieve our dream. Not to overthink, the more you think about it, the more time you give your brain to think of thousands of reasons not to. Remember that everything starts with the first step, if you have an idea, run with it, and execute it. Surround yourself with people who teach you things. "We need to develop a certain identity and character that builds us up. Don't let anyone give you a title." - Liam James Collins Within the space of 1 year, this man lost his dad to suicide and survived one of the worst terror attacks London has ever seen. He thought he had experienced real adversity when his successful acting career completely crashed a few years earlier. He literally went from working alongside Tom Hardy on Batman: The Dark Knight Rises, to delivering his post as a full-time mailman. But losing his Dad was truly crushing.
