Hey everyone, Andrei Jikh here from “Don't Sweat It”. Today, I'm chatting with Travis from the YouTube channel, The Economic Ninja. He's not just your typical financial guru; with 25 years as a firefighter, his passion for finance sparked at an early age. Travis is quite the economic forecaster. He foresaw the dot-com bubble and the 2006 housing crisis, managing to exit real estate right before the crash. He's on a mission, consistently warning his audience about potential economic pitfalls, helping them navigate, prepare, and even profit. Can you believe he only started his YouTube channel three years ago? His primary aim? Warning people about a looming economic collapse, preventing financial distress, and even more heartbreakingly, suicides. The impact he's made in just a short time? Life-changing. But there's more to Travis than finance. He opened up about a challenging childhood, a dream fueled by his grandmother's words to own a Ferrari someday. Yet, a twist of fate, her untimely passing, made him rethink materialistic pursuits. For Travis, it's all about living in the present and uplifting others. On the economy? He sheds light on the cyclical nature of financial systems. With crashes every 7-10 years and significant downturns every half-century or so, he believes we're on the brink of a major economic shake-up. The prolonged low rates by The Fed might soon witness an aggressive spike, potentially triggering economic distress. For those seeking advice, Travis emphasizes the importance of being debt-free, fostering multiple income avenues, and maintaining a robust credit score to capitalize on the next downturn's opportunities. His investment portfolio? A mix of crypto, precious metals, and commodity stocks. However, he advises steering clear of bonds and ETFs in the current climate. Peering into the future, Travis anticipates rampant inflation, bank collapses, the dwindling middle class, increased job and home losses, and perhaps the emergence of a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) post the next crisis. His 2024 vision? To inspire and guide you all, ensuring you're not just surviving, but thriving, and potentially getting wealthy during the anticipated economic turbulence.

Hello everyone, this is Andrei Jikh from the YouTube channel “Don't Sweat It”. In today's video, we explore the intriguing world of artificial intelligence, money, financial education, and its potential impacts in the future. My guest for this episode is Dylan Curious, an expert in AI technology and its applications from the YouTube channel “Curious Future”. Together, we even explored the concept of a future where traditional money might be replaced by more nuanced forms of value like kindness, honesty, and social contribution. We speculated on a future where AI might significantly shift the job market, and even how we approach financial investments like index funds. We unpack AI's transformative potential, particularly its influence on industries ranging from healthcare to entertainment and even the stock market. We will speculate about how AI could disrupt many industries if powerful models were applied, such as in finance and the stock market. When I ask Dylan would he recommend index funds in a world where markets were controlled by AI. Dylan wasn't sure, saying AI could "break" the stock market. We tackled intriguing subjects like the capabilities of advanced AI models, such as ChatGPT, which can not only pass exams but also generate unique content and What that means for business or creating wealth over the long term. How long with some cautionary tales for people relying on them blindly. We touched on universal basic income and I threw out some facts about how during covid we did some unintentioned experiments and showed people saved more than ever before. We also spend time talking about the role of luck versus hard work and how it plays in success and I surprisingly think that it was quite a bit of luck in my story to YouTube success. Delving into the realm of content creation, we muse on the idea of employing AI avatars for some of my future YouTube videos, while also emphasizing the irreplaceable value of genuine human creativity. Dylan, always the thinker, pondered on the challenge of distinguishing between human and AI-generated content. Dylan further highlighted the potential pitfalls of AI, including the risk of losing control and the alignment problem, where AI objectives don't resonate with human values. But rather than dwelling on a dystopian AI future, he urged a focus on its promising near-term applications, ones that could truly enhance our lives. Our conversation even ventured into the future of finance. Can you imagine a world where values like kindness or honesty replace traditional money? What about a scenario where AI reshapes our job landscape or the very way we approach investments? It was an electrifying dialogue that traversed both the promise and dangers of AI, leaving us with profound philosophical musings about our tech-driven future. So, don't sweat the small stuff, keep learning, and let your curiosity guide you! If you're as fascinated by AI as we are, make sure to hit that like and subscribe button!

With me today is the fabulous Shelly Horton. Shelly is a journalist, Channel 9 presenter, keynote speaker, emcee, the founder of ShellShocked Media and she is passionate about normalising conversations and education on the topic of perimenopause. You're in for a treat today as Shelly openly and humorously shares her journey with perimenopause and why she is an out-and-proud peri warrior.    Shelly has been a long-time advocate for women's health, publicly speaking up to destigmatise topics such as a woman's choice to be childfree, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), dense breasts, depression and peri/menopause.   She is an ambassador for the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Too Good, Pink Hope and HER Mental Health. Shelly is also a member of the International Menopause Society and has way too much going on to let perimenopause get in the way!   With such a lack of education and discussion on the topic of perimenopause, Shelly had no idea what it was until it hit her. In this conversation, Shelly talks about her experience with depression and anxiety and how most of the symptoms of perimenopause can be passed off as something else. This leaves many women feeling isolated, confused, misdiagnosed and in a terrible state of health. Shelly shares her advice for women to talk about what they are experiencing and the importance of finding a GP who has expertise in perimenopause.   We talk about the need to educate all genders about perimenopause, which Shelly is doing alongside Dr Ginni Mansberg through their incredible course, Don't Sweat It. Given that so many women are in vital positions of leadership, Shelly shares why it's crucial to implement perimenopause and menopause policies in the workplace. We talk about not just ticking the box, but actually educating and building awareness on what women really go through.    Shelly is doing an incredible leading the conversation on this taboo topic, and I know you're going to really enjoy this episode. I hope it inspires to take action for own health and start building awareness in your community so that women's health is prioritised in the way it should be.      LINKS Resources mentioned: Don't Sweat It: https://dontsweatit.com.au Don't Sweat It Retreat: https://dontsweatit.com.au/hamilton-island-retreat/ Find a menopause doctor: https://www.menopause.org.au/health-info/find-an-ams-doctor Connect with Shelly: LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/shellyhorton1/?originalSubdomain=au Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/shellyhorton1/?hl=en Don't Sweat It LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/don-t-sweat-it-menopause-in-the-workplace     Connect with Julie: LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/julie-hyde/ Instagram: @juliehydeleads Website: https://juliehyde.com.auSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

What are the first signs of perimenopause?  Unlike the much easier signal, years earlier, that you were having your first period, there's no specific sign or marker of this transition. And because the process starts many years before actual 'menopause' (which is, officially, 1 year after your last period) it usually happens in our early to mid 40s.  For TV presenter Shelly Horton it was an enormous shock when her doctor suggested she was perimenopausal. “I'm like, hang on a minute, I'm 46! I'm hot! What the hell?! Menopause is for old ladies with grey hair, clutching their pearls. And they have hot flushes and then their periods stop. That's all that happens. Right? Like I had no idea!" It has led Shelly to become, a self-described 'peri warrior'. And together with GP Dr Ginni Mansberg she now offers webinars and workshops to support women through perimenopause, and also to teach businesses how to support their own staff. Find out more at Don't Sweat It. Plus, she's conducting a weekend-long retreat on Hamilton Island, from June 16-18 2023, for women to meet others and to learn and be inspired.   See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

When you hear the word menopause, you may think it's something that happens when you become an “old lady”. I didn't realise until it was way too late that menopause is just a date. It's perimenopause which can last up to 10 years before you go through menopause that has the wildest impact on us as women and it's something that rarely been talked about until now. As a typical listener of this podcast, statistically you may already be in perimenopause (or not too far off). There is no avoiding the impact it will have on your health, your relationships, your ability to run your business, your confidence. It's monumental. This month is Menopause Month, I thought it would be perfect timing to have a chat with proud Peri-warrior Shelly Horton on to have a chat. Shelly is a journalist, TV presenter, keynote speaker, MC, she runs her own business - ShellShocked Media.  Shelly and I have a really open, honest discussion about the impact of perimenopause on her life and her ability to build her business, what prompted her to start sharing her experience and what has happened as a result of her sharing. We also talk about what action needs to be taken in our workplaces and Shelly and her bestie Dr Ginni Mansberg have created Don't Sweat It, an online program about managing and supporting perimenopause and menopause in the workplace.  You can see from the episode duration that this is a long one but it is incredibly valuable as every woman will go through this.  **Trigger warning: miscarriage, divorce, depression and suicidal thoughts. ** *Neither Shelly or Michelle are medical professionals. We're taking a detour from regular programming today to discuss a subject that is still considered taboo in many cultures. It used to be referred to as “change of life” when I was growing up and it certainly wasn't discussed in public. Now it's known as the M word. While we're happier to have an open conversation about perimenopause and menopause there's still very little information around that's digestible or helpful. The rabbit hole that is Dr Google can be misleading and symptoms can be mistaken for other health issues. Join us as we head down to North Cackalacky for one heckuva rockin' and a rompin' tour opener! Way back when, April 19th, 2002, Ween descended upon the Thomas Wolfe Auditorium in Asheville, NC, and we (well, at least one of us!) were there to tell the tale! And what a tale it was! From the first note in “Buckingham Green,” to the last note of “I Can't Put My Finger On It,” Ween came to rock. This uptempo show featured a lot of jamming and rock and roll flare, hitting up such rarities as “Now I'm Freakin' Out,” and “Never Squeal on the Pusher.” Did I say jamming? This show has you covered! “Voodoo Lady,” and “Rose are Free,” though standards, were jammed out like they were freshly pressed singles. And they practically brought the house down when they police siren-jammed “Johnny on the Spot,” right into “Don't Sweat It.” And the drums on “Never Squeal on the Pusher?” Damn son, Claude was on fire! What can I say, the shit was real brown that night! --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/weencastpodcast/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/weencastpodcast/support

Fitish's hero products, the “Tone Down” CBD facial mist and the makeup setting spray, “Don't Sweat It”, have become instant classics, while the “Dewing It” moisturizer is a constant best-seller. Fitish even has some CBD-infused products for pets! And although Fitish has a range of skincare products, Jenna loves that the CBD component of her brand goes beyond beauty and skincare -- it has healing properties, making her career as a founder even more fulfilling.  Owens might have left morning radio to manage her business full-time, but fans of her magnetic voice and authentic nature can now catch her on “Fitish: The Podcast,” with former radio cohost J-Si, where they talk about all the stuff they couldn't on a nationally syndicated radio show (they don't keep it G-rated, guys.)
