Leadership presence is often defined by what leaders say, how they act, or how confidently they show up in visible moments. But some of the most powerful leadership presence doesn't come from doing more, it comes from knowing when not to act at all.In this solo episode, Janet explores restraint as a mature and intentional leadership skill. She invites listeners to rethink responsiveness, silence, and timing, not as disengagement or loss of authority, but as a deeper form of influence that creates space for others to step forward. As leaders grow more senior, the weight of their voice increases. Janet unpacks why pausing, listening, and choosing when to speak can actually strengthen authority, expand perspective, and signal a more grounded, evolved form of leadership presence. In this episode:✅ How over-responsiveness can unintentionally limit others✅ The difference between restraint and disengagement✅ Why silence can feel risky for high-achieving leaders✅ Understanding the weight your voice carries in the room✅ How pausing creates space for better ideas to emerge✅ Discernment as a core leadership skill✅ When speaking clarifies and when it shuts conversations down✅ Why quieter leadership often signals maturity, not weaknessAbout Janet Ioli:Janet Ioli is a globally recognized executive advisor, coach, and leadership expert with over 25 years of experience developing leaders in Fortune 100 companies and global organizations. She created The Inner Edge—a framework, a movement, and a message that flips leadership from mere success performance to presence; from ego to soul. What if success isn't about pushing harder but allowing yourself to be pulled toward your purpose? In this episode, Seth Streeter shares how he helps people navigate major life transitions and discover their inspired life purpose as co-founder of Mission Wealth, a wealth management firm he started 25 years ago that now manages $14 billion in assets for 4,600 families across 34 US locations. Seth has been a financial advisor for 34 years, specializing in guiding clients through major life events while helping them live more fulfilling lives through assessments across 12 dimensions of wealth. After going through divorce and the financial crisis, Seth realized he was achieving traditional success but wasn't fulfilled, leading him to spend an introspective year attending retreats, meditating, and traveling to India. In the last eight years, Seth has led purpose-driven retreats for over 2,000 people, including nine-day retreats in Bhutan where leaders trek in the Himalayas and stay with monks. Seth spoke at Davos with Deepak Chopra on conscious leadership and leads the purpose community for YPO. Seth reveals the relationship that transformed his life: Joe Bosco, owner of an Italian restaurant in Fort Collins, Colorado where Seth worked as a dishwasher through high school. When Seth was looking at colleges and his parents wanted him to attend Colorado State, Joe Bosco said "you should check out Santa Barbara, California" because he went there for horse shows. Seth had never heard of Santa Barbara but applied to UCSB because of Joe Bosco and spent 27 years there, founding Mission Wealth, having his children, serving on 10 nonprofit boards, starting sustainable future.org, and doing a TED Talk, all because Joe Bosco suggested he check out UC Santa Barbara. Seth also credits Chip Conley, founder of MEA, as a mentor who showed him how to move from his head to his heart. In this episode, I sit down with Oren Hefetz—a leader who spent 16 years at the heart of Google's global operations, yet identifies first and foremost as a historian (who wrote a book about it!), and whom I'm grateful to have as one of my best friends & colleagues. While his track record includes launching YouTube across emerging markets and building Google's Startup Growth Lab, our conversation dives far beneath the surface of corporate success. Oren brings a unique, grounded perspective on how we, as founders and human beings, can remain present and purposeful in a world driven by exponential technology. We explore the essential shift from traditional management to "Conscious Leadership," and why the most critical upgrade we can make isn't to our software, but to our own internal awareness. One of the most meaningful moments of the conversation was when Oren shared a pivotal moment from a retreat in India where he confronted the defining trauma of his life—the loss of his mother at age four—on the very same day ChatGPT reached 100 million users. This convergence of deep personal healing and rapid technological evolution sparked his realization that in an "exponential age," leaders must upgrade their own internal consciousness to match the pace of external change. Learning from the "Failure" that Led to Joining Google Before his long tenure at Google, Oren was an entrepreneur who founded a startup specifically to compete with Google's ad network. While he describes it as a business failure, he credits his "naive optimism" for turning that experience into a bridge to his future success. He believes that leaders who embrace their passion and stay true to their inner voice can navigate even the most disruptive setbacks. The P.I.N.E. Framework for Modern Leaders Oren utilizes a specific methodology to help founders and executives navigate the complexities of the modern workplace: Purpose: Identifying the core "why" behind every action. Intentions: Determining the practical steps and mindset needed to manifest that purpose. Networks: Understanding the web of human relationships and how we influence one another. Emotions: Leveraging emotional intelligence and the "gut feeling" as a compass for decision-making. The Intelligence of the Three Brains Oren & I explain that humans possess three biological "brains": the head (90 billion neurons), the heart (50,000 neurons), and the gut (half a billion neurons). While AI is rapidly commoditizing raw IQ and knowledge, the human differentiator is the ability to connect these three centers. He argues that "Conscious Leadership" is about moving beyond just the head to lead with the heart and intuition. A Mantra for Resilience: Acknowledge Reality, Find Peace The core of Oren's philosophy is captured in a single mantra: "Acknowledge reality and find peace". He explains that many people tend to escape or hide from overwhelming changes in technology and politics. Instead, he advocates for a deep understanding of current reality, which allows a leader to find the inner stillness necessary to lead effectively through chaos.

My name is Erno Hannink and I share my knowledge, experience, and insights with you. I coach entrepreneurs so they can make decisions that will help them grow their impact. This was a very inspirational conversation and I was very curious to learn about what you was doing today. Let's get started. Hello and welcome to this new podcast episode. Today I'm talking to Priscilla Zamora. Welcome, Priscilla. [00:01:41] Priscilla Zamora: Thank you so much for having me. [00:01:43] Erno Hannink: Yeah, and I'm wondering, 'cause we met on a conversation where we talked about, well the common topic was about, the transition of the. Systems of inner development goals that the foundation and all the, everything around that. And you explained to me in a later conversation that you are now living in Dubai. How did you get to Dubai? Because you're not coming from Dubai. [00:02:11] Priscilla Zamora: no. Yeah, I mean, today I'm living between three continents. I do have, I'm originally from Chile, so I have a lot of projects in my family. My networks are most of them in Latin America still. And on 2025 I find out about this community called Emerge Lakefront, which is very related to the inner development goals. And I stayed there for five months. but I've been related to the IDGs for almost three years when I co-founded with two other friends, the first half in Teale regarding to that, and I've been in Dubai a couple of times before, but it wasn't until January of this year that I came for like a personal development conference. And I was supposed to be here for a week, which ended up being three months. And it actually ended up, getting a. Residency and, coming to live here and having a base related to, I think that environments that support entrepreneurship in a fast paced environment. I don't think that there's a place in the world today like Dubai and also regarding too many biases that people may have. There is a lot of personal development, inner work and transformational changes, structural changes happening here to a lot of the conversations. So I love to have that mix. A little bit of Europe, the Middle East and Latin America. [00:03:33] Erno Hannink: And, you were going there for a self development project. It's probably not a project, but what ignited that? What started that [00:03:43] Priscilla Zamora: there? Well, I think that in the personal development slash spiritual path, however, one wants to call it, 'cause for me, are very related. You find different authors, networks, platforms. Experiences and for me, one that helped me a lot in the last, I would say five, seven years has been Mindvalley, which is a platform for personal development, but also has different approaches on business, physical health and mindfulness. And they had this conference called Future Human in January on 2025. And that was the reason on, I don't know, I think six months before on 2024 when I just read it, I was like, I have to be there. I don't know how I'm gonna get to Dubai and be there in January. But it was like I, I always have this expression of when something pulls you, like you read something and it's like, oh, I have to be there. That happened to me with Future Human and Little, I know that was going to be like a series of react, a chain reaction on many things that will happen in my life. It was the same how I read about lakefront on LinkedIn. It was the same, like I had to be there. I'm trying to lead my life now that way, like following a little bit of calling intuition, something that is not always intellectual. we can go a little bit more on that, but, that's how I gotta Dubai and that's how, why I'm here. [00:05:10] Erno Hannink: Okay, so the title piques my interest, right? So Future Human. What did you learn there? [00:05:20] Priscilla Zamora: It's been, I think that as many people maybe I developed my life very related to academic achievement, societal expectation.
There comes a moment in many leadership journeys when all the behaviors that once drove success—working harder, stepping in faster, proving competence—suddenly stop delivering the same results. You're still capable. Still committed. Still responsible. And yet, something feels off. In this episode, Janet explores that often-unspoken turning point and why it's not a failure, but a call to a deeper kind of leadership. This conversation is about the inner shift required as leaders move into higher levels of responsibility. Janet unpacks why leadership effectiveness evolves from visible execution to discernment, presence, and judgment, and how learning to pause, sense, and respond intentionally becomes a defining edge. This is an invitation to outgrow what no longer fits and lead from clarity instead of habit. In this episode:✅ Why working harder eventually stops being the answer✅ The invisible shift from execution to judgment at senior levels✅ How micromanagement often signals a deeper leadership transition✅ The power of pausing instead of reacting✅ Asking “What is needed here?” instead of “What should I do?”✅ The difference between habitual action and intentional response✅ How leadership presence deepens through discernment, not control✅ Why maturity in leadership often feels uncomfortable at firstAbout Janet Ioli:Janet Ioli is a globally recognized executive advisor, coach, and leadership expert with over 25 years of experience developing leaders in Fortune 100 companies and global organizations. She created The Inner Edge—a framework, a movement, and a message that flips leadership from mere success performance to presence; from ego to soul. Together, we explore the quiet trap of endless self-improvement and remember that life itself is the ultimate practice—a living curriculum that invites presence over perfection. Zarak shares the wisdom that emerged from a transformational plant medicine experience, opening a doorway into deeper self-inquiry, integration, and embodied leadership. We dive into the courage it takes to be radically honest in our relationships and how emotional transparency is one of the most profound acts of self-love. We reflect on the ways shame, guilt, and unresolved emotions can weigh on our vitality and longevity—and what becomes possible when we meet them with compassion, breath, and truth. This is a grounded conversation that honors both the mess and the magic of being human. From male vulnerability to the awakening of the feminine, we explore the integration of science, mystery, and consciousness—and how that synthesis returns us to wholeness. This episode is an invitation to embrace life exactly as it is, to listen for the quiet guidance beneath the noise, and to rediscover the essence of love and leadership in every breath. What if clarity wasn't just a mindset—but a measurable business advantage? In this powerful episode of Mindset Mastery Moments, Dr. Alisa sits down with Yining Wang, Global Business Strategist and Executive Partner at Sincere Alignment Group, to explore the psychology behind conscious leadership, high-stakes decision-making, and sustainable success.Born and raised between China and Sweden, Yining brings a rare multicultural perspective to leadership—bridging traditional corporate success with inner mastery, stillness, and strategic detachment. Having advised billion-dollar ventures and operated in IPO-level environments, he shares how leaders can make clearer decisions without burnout or ego-driven reactivity. In this episode, we explore:The psychology of detached decision-making in high-pressure business environmentsHow cultural conditioning shapes leadership mindset and performanceThe neuroscience behind stillness and strategic thinkingWhy inner clarity is a non-negotiable leadership skillThe difference between building profitable companies and transformational communitiesThis conversation is a must-listen for founders, executives, and professionals who want to scale impact without sacrificing alignment, health, or purpose.
In this deeply reflective conversation, Raj Sisodia and Nalima Bhat explore why even the smartest, most successful leaders can suddenly find themselves stuck, hitting an invisible ceiling that strategy, coaching, or performance optimization alone cannot break. Drawing from their new book, Healing Leaders: A Manual for Life and Leadership Recovery, they make the case that leadership development without inner healing is fundamentally incomplete. To see the full video podcast, check out the Conscious Capitalists YouTube channel hereTogether, we unpack how unhealed psychological wounds quietly shape decision making, relationships, and organizational culture, often sabotaging leaders at the very height of their success. Raj and Nalima introduce their seven step framework for healing and integration, Know, Love, Be, Choose, Express, Complete, and Heal, guiding leaders on a journey that begins with self awareness and ends with genuine transformation. The conversation moves into the distinction between post traumatic stress and post traumatic growth, and why real growth requires what they describe as going down to the basement of consciousness before rising to the next level of leadership. Nalima shares insights on integrating masculine and feminine energies, elder and child wisdom, and embracing the role of the wise fool of tough love, a leader grounded in both compassion and truth. At its core, this episode challenges the idea that leadership is only about external results. As Raj puts it, you cannot have a healing organization with a leader who is not healed. The more leaders do their own inner work, the more they create cultures that foster trust, psychological safety, and collective flourishing. This is not just a conversation about business or leadership performance. It is about what it truly means to lead in a way that heals organizations, communities, and ultimately the world.About the GuestNalima Bhat is a visionary speaker, leadership coach, and co author of Shakti Leadership, and a former Distinguished Professor in Gender and Conscious Leadership at Tecnológico de Monterrey.Purchase the book “Healing Leaders: 7 Steps to Recovery of Self” https://a.co/d/02VWA9G2 If you enjoy this podcast, would you consider leaving a review on Apple Podcasts. In this episode, we covered: 1) Pete's 4-part framework for modern leadershipPete lays out what he sees as “endemic” to great leadership today:Master cash flow (because nothing survives without it)Know whether you're a visionary or an integrator (and don't pretend you're both)Be the master motivator (the era of fear-based leadership is over)Own the culture (and use story as one of your most powerful tools to shape it) 2) Storytelling as culture-engineeringWe dig into why stories are more than “nice to have.” Stories become the myths that create the mythology of a company—how values become behavior at scale. And if you want to influence culture, yesterday was easier than today. 3) The next AI infrastructure shift: from training to inferencingPete breaks down the difference between:Training LLMs (building the model)Inferencing (asking the model questions in real time—what most people experience as “prompting”)Then he takes it further: the next wave isn't human inferencing—it's machine inferencing. Robots, cars, devices, sensors… constantly asking “what do I do next?” at massive scale. 4) Why “edge” data centers are coming backPete predicts we'll move away from only massive, centralized “mega” campuses toward distributed, high-performance data centers near the edge—“in every town,” similar to telecom “points of presence” in the 1990s. That's the strategic thesis behind Gray Wolf Data Centers. 5) The modern mystic: mind, body, and the inner gamePete shares a candid chapter of his own life—anxiety, therapy, CBT, and a pivotal lesson: don't make the events you can't control your “problems.” He connects this to resilience through sleep, health practices, and the belief that we can reshape the mind through neuroplasticity—and even how he sees us as “quantum beings,” responsible for how we observe and choose our reality. 6) A hopeful thesis: “good AI” vs “bad AI” + post-scarcityWe touch the fear many people carry (yes, I mention growing up in the Terminator era), but Pete offers a provocative counter: the way we beat bad AI is with good AI—models designed around human flourishing and shared broadly as a public service. He believes we're headed through disruption toward post-scarcity, and that our descendants will wonder why we didn't support each other sooner. 7) The closing leadership message: “we are all one”Pete's final note is the one that matters most to me: we're all connected—and we're here for each other. In my book, that's not just a spiritual idea; it's a leadership standard. ----- Resources Mentioned:Pete's company: Gray Wolf Data CentersPete's book: Living in Bliss: Achieve a Balanced Existence of Body, Mind and SpiritPete's site: PeteSacco.com (signed copies + meditation materials)Dr. David Burns: The Feel Good HandbookDan Sullivan: Who Not How (and other referenced works)Peter Diamandis: longevity reference ----- If you want to apply this immediately:Ask yourself: Am I the visionary or the integrator here? (And who do I need as my counterbalance?) Choose one cultural value you care about—and tell a story that proves it. Conscious leadership begins with awareness — not strategy. In this deeply personal and expansive episode of The Leadership Launchpad Podcast - The Legacy Edition , Susan Hobson and Tracey Allen share their experience attending a conscious leadership retreat in Costa Rica — and the powerful insights that emerged around alignment, empowerment, healing, and consciousness. Two weeks post-retreat, they reflect on what happens after the ceremony ends: the 8–10 week neuroplastic integration window, the emotional work that follows, and the real-life leadership shifts that begin when awareness deepens. This is not a conversation about “quick fixes” or spiritual bypassing. It's an honest exploration of how consciousness training — including psychedelic-assisted modalities — can act as a catalyst for deeper self-awareness, emotional regulation, and aligned leadership when engaged responsibly and intentionally. In this episode, Susan and Tracey explore:Why awareness is the foundation of aligned leadershipHow consciousness training helps lower protective patterns and access deeper insightThe difference between healing experiences and real integrationTurning pain into purpose through somatic and emotional processingWhy the real work begins after the retreatHow leaders can show up more present, regulated, and impactful at work and at homeThis conversation is for leaders who feel the call to evolve — not just professionally, but personally — and who understand that conscious leadership starts from the inside out.
In this powerful conversation, I connect with my friend Rasmus, a man who has walked the path from high-performance business leadership to deep emotional and spiritual awakening. From his beginnings as an elite athlete and fitness entrepreneur to his evolution into a father and men's mentor, we explore what it truly means to lead from the inside out. Rooted in the theme of Men's Development & Conscious Leadership, this dialogue is heart-centered, deeply personal, and grounded in practices that cultivate presence, vulnerability, and real power.Rasmus shares how divorce became his greatest teacher—opening him to grief, humility, and radical self-honesty—and how those lessons now inform his men's work. We talk about breaking cycles of pain and overachievement, the difference between performance and embodiment, and why turning inward often reveals more strength than chasing external success. We also explore conscious parenting, the courage it takes to re-pattern family dynamics, and how healthy sexuality emerges when men face their wounds with compassion and accountability.Throughout the episode, we offer practical pathways: slowing down to listen to the body, tending to the nervous system, practicing clean communication, honoring boundaries with love, and redefining success through integrity and connection. If you're seeking balance, presence, or a more grounded way to lead—in your work, relationships, or fatherhood—this conversation invites you to meet yourself more fully and lead with an open heart. In this powerful episode of Brightn, we sit down with Hillary Phelps and Greg for a deeply honest conversation about recovery, mental health, conscious leadership, and the generational impact of the choices we make.Through raw storytelling and lived experience, this episode explores what it truly means to break cycles—of addiction, silence, shame, and inherited trauma—and how healing becomes possible through vulnerability, community, and purpose-driven action. In this episode, we explore:Hillary's journey through addiction, sobriety, and women's mental health recoveryThe unique challenges women face in addiction—and why those stories have long gone unheardGreg's story of loss, resilience, and breaking generational cycles of trauma and suicideWhat “conscious capital” really means—and how leadership can be rooted in impact, not egoWhy recovery looks different for everyone, but connection is always the common threadThe idea of living amends and choosing a legacy that stops the pain from being passed downHow community, accountability, and self-respect become anchors in long-term healingThis episode is a reminder that healing isn't about perfection—it's about choosing, again and again, to live differently. Whether you're navigating recovery yourself, supporting someone you love, or seeking a deeper understanding of mental health and human flourishing, this conversation offers hope, perspective, and light.
Today on Make It A Great One, Dr. Dan interviews Raj Sisodia, global thought leader, bestselling author, and co-founder of Conscious Capitalism, to explore the inner work required to live and lead with purpose, integrity, and humanity. Raj also introduces the seven steps outlined in his newest book Healing Leaders which teaches us that leadership begins with knowing, loving, and healing oneself. Raj shares the pivotal moments that reshaped his life and leadership—from questioning profit-only business models to confronting unhealed personal trauma that lingered beneath decades of professional success. He opens up about his own healing journey, the influence of his parents, and the realization that leadership without self-awareness inevitably causes harm. Together, Dr. Dan and Raj unpack what it truly means to be a conscious leader—someone willing to integrate head, heart, and soul; masculine and feminine energy; wisdom and playfulness because conscious leaders create ripple effects that impact families, communities, and future generations. This episode challenges traditional business paradigms and offers a hopeful vision for the future—one where business becomes a force for healing, compassion, and collective well-being. This conversation is an invitation to slow down, reflect, and lead from a deeper place—one rooted in purpose, courage, and care. You don't need more leadership garnish. You need a better base. In the kitchen, that base is mirepoix—carrot, celery, onion. In leadership, it's the same: three core ingredients show up in every hard conversation, every decision under pressure, every moment your team is silently asking: Can I trust you? Are we clear? The Leadership Mirepoix Integrity Emotional Intelligence Clarity Data point (because receipts matter): Gallup found only 13% of employees strongly agree leadership communicates effectively—so clarity isn't common… which means it's a competitive advantage. In this episode, you'll learn: Why pressure reveals your defaults (heat reveals the recipe) How authenticity lives inside integrity (and what authenticity is not) How EQ creates psychological safety—and why your nervous system “broadcasts” The 3-part formula for real clarity: meaning, direction, agreements The “chef's kiss” transparency script that builds trust without oversharing Episode Timestamps: 00:00 — Why leadership needs a better base (not more garnish) 02:00 — Heat reveals the recipe: pressure + defaults 03:30 — Ingredient #1: Integrity (authenticity inside it) 06:40 — Emotional bank account: trust deposits + withdrawals 09:20 — Ingredient #2: Emotional Intelligence (empathy as EQ in action) 11:10 — Psychological safety (Project Aristotle) 13:45 — Mini practice: “emotional weather” in 10 seconds 16:10 — Ingredient #3: Clarity (clean communication) 19:00 — Chef's kiss: name the moment/intention/ask 21:30 — Recipe card recap in 60 seconds 23:00 — When “garnish” becomes over-explaining 24:40 — Closing + review Key Takeaways: Integrity: Trust is built through tiny receipts—follow-through, repairs, consistency. n this powerful episode, Lucas Mack sits down with Jeremy Nulick, founder of Boulder Futures, to explore what most leaders avoid talking about: emotion, identity, and the deeper human story behind business strategy.Jeremy shares his journey from journalism to strategic foresight, and challenges the modern assumption that business is purely analytical. Instead, he argues that business is a creative act—built on narrative, meaning, imagination, and the courage to make decisions that shape the future.Together, Lucas and Jeremy dive into:Why storytelling isn't just marketing — it's strategyThe hidden struggle many executives face: emotional suppressionWhat happens when your identity becomes your titleTrauma, recovery, and the way pain can distort visionHow hope is a discipline that leaders must reclaimWhy vulnerability and human connection are essential for building lasting organizationsThis conversation is for founders, executives, creatives, and anyone who feels the tension between success on paper and emptiness inside.Because the future won't be built by people who numb themselves. It will be built by people who are brave enough to be human.
What if your next leadership moment isn't about delivering… but about including? In today's episode, I share an unexpected lesson from a Keith Urban show finale that lit up a truth most high-achieving leaders forget under pressure: connection doesn't happen through perfection—it happens through participation. If you've been leading with “tight control” (or quietly performing for approval), this is your invitation back to presence, resonance, and real influence. In this episode, you'll learn: How to spot the moment you're “performing” in leadership instead of connecting Why intuition gets drowned out when comparison creeps in—and what to do instead Simple ways to invite participation so your leadership becomes a shared experience Timestamps/Chapter Guide: 00:00 Welcome + what Heart Glow CEO is about 00:01:55 The story: why a reality show finale became a leadership lesson 00:03:10 “They already won” — the habit of leapfrogging your wins 00:03:40 Cassidy's finale: talent, joy… and the subtle shift into doubt & comparison 00:05:10 Leadership nuance: authenticity vs. respecting the “ground you're serving on” 00:06:05 The regret moment: “I should have paid attention to what I already knew” (intuition) 00:07:30 Adam's difference: acknowledgment, invitation, eye contact, play 00:08:45 The core insight: performance vs. experience 00:09:35 “Connection doesn't happen through perfection. It happens through participation.” 00:10:30 Why people love helping dreams come true (and how this applies to leadership) 00:11:10 The paradox of conscious leadership: the more it's about others, the more impact you have 00:12:05 3 reflection questions to lead differently in 2026 00:13:00 Closing: “Breathe joy.” Key takeaways: Talent and credentials matter—but they don't create resonance on their own. Comparison is a signal: it often disconnects you from your intuition and your audience. Conscious leadership isn't a solo act. It's a shared experience built through inclusion. The goal isn't to be louder in 2026—it's to be more connected. Quote to remember:Connection doesn't happen through perfection. It happens through participation. Reflection questions: Where in your leadership could you invite more participation? What would change if your next conversation, presentation, or decision became a shared experience—not a performance? How might your leadership evolve if you trusted that connection, not control, creates real resonance? Next step:Choose one place this week to shift from performance to participation—a team meeting, a client call, a hard conversation—and experiment with inviting people in (not impressing them from the stage). About Jody ShieldJody Shield is a visionary entrepreneur, business mentor, and global thought leader in energetic intelligence and conscious leadership. With a background in corporate advertising, where she worked with global brands such as Nike, Lululemon, and Sony Ericsson, Jody made a bold and unexpected leap in 2013 when she walked away from her high-flying career to follow an inner calling.Originally from Liverpool and now based in Lisbon, with expansion underway in Dubai, Jody has since built multiple purpose-led brands, including Magnificent Money and Visionary Entrepreneurs, and has guided over 100,000 women across more than 80 countries. Her work blends strategy, psychology, energetics, and leadership, helping women build aligned, multi-million-pound and dollar businesses without burnout. Known for pioneering conversations around the energetics of money, power, and success long before they became mainstream, Jody is a leader of leaders, supporting women to scale with clarity, confidence, and integrity.About this EpisodeIn this expansive and energising episode of The Matrix Green Pill Podcast, host Hilmarie Hutchison sits down with Jody Shield to explore what it truly means to lead, scale, and succeed in alignment. Jody shares the pivotal moment that changed her life forever: an inner voice that told her to quit her corporate job, setting her on an entirely new path of entrepreneurship, healing, and conscious leadership.Jody also speaks candidly about the patterns that hold women back from scaling with confidence, including fear of their own power, resistance to defining a clear vision, and inherited beliefs around money and success. She introduces a new paradigm of building businesses from feminine leadership and energetic alignment rather than force, hustle, or burnout, and explains why strategy alone is no longer enough.Quotes3:03 - I found myself with a really powerful indigenous culture. They actually taught me many of their principles and values. And that revealed some great knowledge in me consciously, which was the fact that the mind creates conditions in the body, creates illnesses, viruses, diseases in the body. 8:36 - We actually inherit information from our parents and their parents, and actually from our ancestral lineage. Many indigenous cultures already know this. 14:51 - It's actually very simple to deploy lots of these strategies and techniques and tactics. 18:38 - You will start to see more and more people around you in your network being more open, just naturally being more open. Sometimes we have to have a bit of a breakdown to have a breakthrough, depending on our journey. 21:02 - The biggest fear that I feel is present amongst women is a fear of how powerful we are, actually, how powerful we can be. 22:30 - We can observe women in power on our planet right now, and yet women are very much in power from a very masculine dominating energy. 23:56 - Building and scaling a business from a feminine energy is understanding that we are energy. We have power within us. 25:38 - We are seeing also, especially in my world or in my networks or in my industry, women transforming into very powerful women. 26:34 - Women are reluctant to define and solidify a vision for themselves.29:37 - We actually certify mainly women at the moment to be money coaches, to learn the tools and the techniques and the methods to dive deeply into their transformation around money and also to apply what we're teaching them to their careers doesn't need to be that they become a money coach. The Matrix Green Pill Podcast: https://thematrixgreenpill.com/Please review us: https://g.page/r/CS8IW35GvlraEAI/review

In this episode of It's Your Time, Michelle explores how executive function, discipline, and flow state actually work through the lens of neuroscience. You'll learn why habits and goals often don't stick, especially for high-achieving women, and how performance-based worth quietly creates burnout and self-doubt. Inside this conversation: Why willpower isn't the problem — and what is How nervous system regulation supports focus, follow-through, and discipline The link between identity, self-trust, and sustainable performance Why flow state is conscious leadership in action This episode is for women in sales and leadership who want to feel focused, grounded, and aligned — without pushing or proving. In this episode of the UpliftHER Leadership Series on the Self-Care Goddess Podcast, I had the pleasure of speaking with Mary Brodie , digital experience strategist, founder of Gearmark, two-time author, and a thoughtful voice at the intersection of technology, human experience, and conscious leadership. Our conversation was a beautiful, expansive exploration of what it truly means to navigate change with grace. Mary shared her nonlinear career journey from aspiring English professor to digital strategist, from corporate roles shaped by layoffs and pivots to founding her own consultancy — and the deep self-awareness, curiosity, and compassion that carried her through each chapter. This episode weaves together career evolution, leadership, spirituality, and resilience, offering gentle yet powerful insights for anyone navigating uncertainty or redefining success on their own terms.✨ Here's what we explored in this rich and reflective conversation:✅ Embracing nonlinear career paths and releasing the pressure to “have it all figured out” ✅ Why knowing what you don't want can be just as powerful as knowing what you do ✅ Navigating layoffs, job loss, and career transitions without internalizing shame ✅ Reframing rejection and understanding that most setbacks are not personal ✅ The role of curiosity, experimentation, and flexibility in conscious leadership ✅ How meditation, Buddhism, and self-compassion reshaped Mary's inner world ✅ The difference between empathy and compassion — and why compassion creates healthier boundaries ✅ Letting go of codependency and learning not to take things personally ✅ Acceptance as a leadership skill, not a form of resignation ✅ Insights from Mary's upcoming book: Acceptance: The Key to Being a Good ListenerMary reminds us that most paths are reversible, few decisions are permanent, and growth often comes from allowing ourselves to pause, reflect, and evolve. Through her wisdom and lived experience, she invites us to lead with presence, listen more deeply, and meet life's transitions with compassion rather than fear.Leadership isn't about certainty; it's about awareness. When we stop taking life's twists personally and start meeting them with acceptance and curiosity, we open the door to more aligned, human-centered leadership.✨ Take a deep breath. Your journey doesn't need to make sense to anyone else — only to you.Connect with Mary BrodieLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/mfbrodie/Amazon Author Page: https://www.amazon.com/stores/Mary-Brodie/author/B07ZBP6359?shoppingPortalEnabled=trueWebsite: https://www.mfbrodie.com/Connect with Me ( Rita)Instagram | https://www.instagram.com/ritasavoia_/?hl=enFacebook | https://www.facebook.com/savoia1X | https://x.com/rsavoia?lang=enLinkedIn | https://www.linkedin.com/in/ritasavoia/?originalSubdomain=ca

Drawing on the idea that "people are not okay," this episode introduces conscious leadership as a necessity, arguing that fear-based loyalty and performance metrics cannot solve the current collective exhaustion. Conscious leadership is built on daily practices of awareness, responsibility, and presence, shifting the focus from fixing weaknesses to activating human strengths. Ultimately, the goal is to transform the culture by leading with grounded presence to create a space where people feel safe enough to heal, collaborate, and
There comes a moment — often in those quiet in-between hours — when high achievers feel the strain between the life they've built and the life they actually want. If you've been feeling that tug, that whisper for something deeper, this episode is your invitation to pause… and listen. In this week's conversation, we explore the hidden forces that keep even the most successful leaders feeling underexpressed, overextended, or quietly unfulfilled. Not because they lack skill or drive — but because they've outgrown the identities and operating systems that brought them this far. You'll hear how leaders accidentally fuse their worth to their productivity, why so many stay hyper-connected to everything except themselves, and the surprising reason achievement can sometimes flatten fulfillment. And most importantly: what conscious leadership asks of us next. This isn't about doing more. It's about expanding into the version of you that's been calling your name. In this episode, you'll discover: The real cost of the high-achiever identity loop — and why it creates contraction instead of advancement. How self-disconnection masquerades as competence (especially for leaders who excel at supporting everyone but themselves). The quiet crisis of “legacy without fulfillment” that so many high earners face — and the moment everything shifts. These insights aren't theoretical; they're lived, embodied, and pulled from decades of experience in the inner architecture of leadership. Episode Mentions: The Peace Bubble — Your weekly space to restore coherence and reconnect with your inner landscape: https://www.heartglowceo.com/peace_bubble The Courage to Rise by Charmaine Heard — A beautiful example of conscious leadership and radical integrity in action:Learn More A final whisper for the road… If you've been feeling not broken, not lost — just underactivated — this episode may be the beginning of a very real evolution. Conscious leadership isn't a title. It's a practice, a homecoming, and a reclamation of who you're here to be next. Breathe clarity. Lead lightly. Glow from the inside out.
Raj Sisodia has spent his life asking one question: Can business make people's lives better instead of draining them? He holds a PhD in Marketing and Business Policy from Columbia University, co-founded Conscious Capitalism with John Mackey, the founder of Whole Foods Market, and has advised global companies from Tata Group to AT&T. But his path started in a factory in Bombay, earning a hundred dollars a month, before he built one of the most influential ideas in modern business thinking. "I didn't like biology, so I became an engineer. I didn't like finance, so I became a marketing professor. But business turned out to be about head and wallet — nothing about heart or spirit." That realization led him to study companies that people love working for and trust buying from. The result became Conscious Capitalism — a way of running a business that joins purpose, profit, and care. "Profit is the oxygen that keeps you alive. But no human lives just to make red blood cells. In the same way, no company should live just to make profit." Raj's research showed that companies built on four simple pillars — Purpose, Stakeholders, Conscious Leadership, and Caring Culture — outperformed the S&P 500 by nine to one over a decade. They made more money precisely because they cared more. When he met Bob Chapman, a manufacturing CEO from Missouri, Raj saw these ideas come alive. Chapman bought a failing plant, promised no layoffs, and told workers they would figure it out together. Men who had once been laid off without warning wept as they told Raj their lives had changed. "I had sixty dollars in the bank and a new baby. That job saved my family." From that came the book Everybody Matters. Chapman told him, "Leadership is the stewardship of the lives entrusted to us." Raj calls such companies healing organizations — places that reduce suffering and bring more joy into the world. Now, with artificial intelligence reshaping work, Raj argues that AI will amplify our intentions: "A knife in a surgeon's hand saves lives. The same knife in another hand can end one. AI is the same — it depends on who we are when we use it." He believes the leaders who thrive will be those who bring consciousness to technology, not fear.
In this episode of Healthy Mind, Healthy Life, host Avik has a straight talking conversation with transformational leadership coach and extreme adventurer Martin Palethorpe. This is not another hype session about grinding harder. Martin breaks down why so many high achievers quietly burn out even while they look successful on LinkedIn. He explains how real peak performance starts with the mind. Not more strategy. From racing across deserts and trekking to the magnetic North Pole to recovering from a 300 foot skydive crash and rebuilding life after a long marriage, Martin shows how mental clarity, nervous system regulation and conscious leadership create sustainable performance. You will hear practical ways to step off the hamster wheel, cut through internal noise and use breath, presence and simple physical challenges as leadership training. If you are a founder, executive or driven professional searching for depth instead of just more output, this episode is built to land About The Guest: Martin Palethorpe is a transformational leadership coach, adventurer and conscious leadership guide. For more than 25 years he has coached senior executives and founders while testing human limits in extreme environments. He has raced across multiple deserts, trekked to the magnetic North Pole and survived a 300 foot skydive crash. Along the way he has left corporate life, moved through the end of a 20 year marriage and rebuilt his inner and outer world. Martin blends discipline with intuition, performance with presence and physical challenge with spiritual clarity. Through his Quality of Mind work he helps leaders access clarity on demand, regulate their nervous systems and lead from wisdom instead of fear and pressure. Key Takeaways : Peak performance is less about pushing harder and more about removing the mental friction that blocks your existing capacity. The mind usually quits before the body. In extreme desert races, “escape gremlins” in the mind created stories to justify stopping while the body could continue. Obsessing over results and targets can damage performance. It fuels stress, burnout and illness rather than sustainable excellence. Most high achievers are driven by unexamined conditioning. Make more money. Move faster. Look successful. Without asking what any of that truly delivers. In a high pressure moment the simplest shift is to stop and breathe. Breathwork calms the nervous system so you can respond instead of react. You have to step off the hamster wheel. Retreats, quiet time and honest self inquiry are key to hearing deeper wisdom beneath autopilot thinking. Redefine failure. Playing full out means you will sometimes fall short. Protecting your image often costs you a fully lived life. Small physical challenges like cold water immersion expose how much suffering comes from the story in your mind rather than the situation itself. Real success is not about winning or status. It is about a healthy body, honest relationships, inner peace and meaningful impact. How To Connect With Martin Palethorpe : To explore Martin's retreats, coaching and Quality of Mind work. Dr. Dan interviews coach, Enneagram teacher, and author Courtney Smith to explore how we grow, evolve, and reclaim our most authentic selves. Courtney shares the transformational journey that took her from a high-achieving, analytical career to helping leaders and individuals uncover the stories, fears, and inner patterns that shape their lives. Together, they dive into themes of self-awareness, purpose, empowerment, courage, compassion, and authentic leadership, revealing how we can all step out of our “zone of greatness” and into our true zone of genius. Drawing from Courtney's work with the Enneagram, Conscious Leadership tools, and her new workbook Choosing Wholeness Over Goodness: A Process for Reclaiming Your Full Self By Elise Loehnen and Courtney Smith, this episode breaks down how old stories and inherited beliefs keep us stuck — and how understanding fear, rewriting narratives, and naming our “parts” can create profound personal growth. This episode is an invitation to slow down, tune inward, and step courageously into a more authentic and connected version of yourself. It's for leaders, caregivers, creators, and anyone committed to personal evolution and meaningful impact.
