Waterside outdoor adventures, lighthouses, fish boils, and other fun ways for families to fill their days on this Wisconsin peninsula between Green Bay and Lake Michigan
Just after the last episode, we moved from Italy to France to join our river cruise in Bordeaux. This involved a short flight across the 2 countries landing in Paris and a bus trip south to meet the ship. The weather was very hot as expected in Summer, but the AC was was subpar in most locations. Sailing the rivers of the Bordeaux region of France, means learning about wine. This is the heart of the wine region and the grapes are treated with reverence. We, of course, tried our share of the fine wines of the area, but din't come away overly impressed. Earlier in the trip we enjoyed many varieties of Italian wine, which we felt was equal to the French wines. Traveling does give one the opportunity to make these comparisons first hand. After our flight home and jet lag recovery period, we pickup the RV for a quick trip north to the Cape Cod of the midwest, Door County Wisconsin. This destination, just north of Green Bay WI, is know in the local area for its harbor towns and picturesque water views, crafts and a cool weather alternative to the summer heat. Located n Lake Michigan, the views are similar to those you'd find in ocean side communities. Of course we have our usual list of interesting RV topics. New books, an e-bike conversion, RV road services and much more are on our agenda for this episode.

"So, what happens when you get sick?" It's a good question and is, by far, the most frequently asked. First, we call our doctor and schedule a tele-medicine visit. If the decision is made to seek urgent care, we know where to go. Illness or injury is never a planned event, so as we enter a town we note the location of the closest emergency clinic and veterinarian and then, touch wood. There is no good place to get sick, but some places are better than others. Door County, Wisconsin The post Pulling Through In Door County, Wisconsin appeared first on Living In Beauty.

When the dispatcher asked what the emergency was, the woman said she had called 911 on behalf of another person and she was going to put that person on the phone. Thank you Laura for connecting me with Renata Maniaci. Renata lives in Costa Rica but grew up in Door County Wisconsin. Door County is in the northeast part of Wisconsin, many describe as a pristine part of the state that is surround by the beauty of nature. I live in Upper Michigan and as the crow flies the tip of the county is about 20 miles away. Many who live here, or there, are drawn to nature and have realized that it is an incredible way to stay grounded and connected to Gaia. We talk about that and many other things, but what I like about Renata is how centered she is and how she delivers her message. She chooses her words carefully and gently. I always see that as a sign of a higher evolved state, we can speak abruptly or we can speak words that come from love. In this show we talk about connecting with our Higher Self, the 5th Dimension and other topics. I've always wondered how so many have come to believe we are ascending to the 5th dimension, where did that come from? Renata explains how it came to her, something we all can tap into. From my perspective, and use your own discretion, she is the real deal. There are so many out there saying so many things and we can easily be misled. We need discernment with anything we look at. I have come to think I can spot a higher truth when I see it, but I can be wrong also. I have a really good feeling talking to Ren, for whatever that's worth. In 2020, Ren founded Up Up & Awaken Productions which creates transformational content designed to assist humanity through the awakening process. Ren also founded Hana Healing Arts LLC, a spiritual healing practice that uses energy medicine and angelic helpers to serve in one's awakening. Most of this work is now done in group sessions, or through courses on Patreon. Ren also hosts the "Let's Get Metaphysical" podcast. After listening to a couple shows I knew I wanted to hear more of what she had to say. Wisconsin is cheese country. But it isn’t about mass quantities for the masses. It’s also about the art of making it.
