2026-0601 FOOD TRAVEL USA WITH ELIZABETH DOUGHERTY The TRUTH About Food and Travel Album:  The TRUTH About Food & Travel 060126 Original Broadcast Date: 06/01/26 FULL SHOW:  This week on Food Travel USA, Elizabeth Dougherty takes a closer look at several stories that affect all of us, whether we're standing in a grocery store aisle or sitting in an airport terminal. The show begins with Food News and Commentary, then pulls back the curtain on professional server training and why it can make or break your restaurant experience. A two-part feature on fertilizer explores how modern food production depends on it and why decisions made far from the farm can have real consequences for consumers. Elizabeth also examines what your food cravings may be trying to tell you and revisits a remarkable conversation with Dr. Terry Vrain, whose thoughts on GMOs and modern agriculture continue to spark debate years later. In Hour Two, Travel News, Airline Debacles, and Cruise News cover the latest developments affecting travelers, while RV Tips & Tales shares an important warning about RV consignment. The show wraps up with a look at Microsoft's Windows 11 privacy concerns and a fascinating trip beneath the Lincoln Memorial to discover a hidden piece of American history that few visitors ever get to see. FOOD TRAVEL USA FAST FACTS About the Show Using the chassis of a food and travel show, Elizabeth Dougherty has carved out her own lane in Talk Radio, covering the contamination of the food supply and the travel restrictions placed upon us by an overreaching government. The show also covers data protection, self-sufficiency and homesteading-related topics to help protect to us from this evil, corrupt system. With Elizabeth as the host, the show has a very different sound from the typical male-oriented talk radio. In combination with terrestrial stations that carry the show, we reach people who don't normally listen to politically-driven talk radio. With less than 50 days remaining of 2025, South East Asia is barrelling towards the end-of-year holiday travel season. And  there's plenty of news to talk about. This week, Gary and Hannah zoom through the region's top travel happenings, with stopovers in Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Cambodia and Laos, plus China and Bahrain. We begin with downbeat news about the Thailand-Cambodia peace process, and the detrimental impact this is having on Cambodia's visitor economy (remember in 2024, Cambodia was the first country in ASEAN to claim it had surpassed its 2019 visitor level). In a packed show, we also deconstruct COMAC's acquisition of a 49% stake in Lao Airlines and AirAsia's plans to establish a Middle East base in Bahrain. Plus, we look in depth at Singapore's new Sustainable Aviation Fuel Levy, which will charge differentiated rates to air travellers to fund the scaling up of SAF for flights to/from Changi Airport - and how other ASEAN countries might respond. Staying in Singapore, we ponder its newly announced SGD1 billion wellness attraction by the bay, while a social media storm greeted plans to beautify downtown Kuala Lumpur. We finish with an insider summary from Gary of Phocuswright's new 2025 South East Asia Travel Market Essentials report.
