In this episode of The Arcturian Playground, titled "Spiritual Psychology," the Arcturian Collective Thingy offers a profound exploration into the interconnectedness of all forms of life, spiritual psychology, and the intricate dance between the soul and personality. Through the voice of the "Man in the Chair," they delve into the nature of reality, the evolution of consciousness, and the influence of deep intelligence across multidimensional experiences. The episode begins with a heartfelt, belated birthday message to the Man in the Chair's sister, recalling childhood memories and the playful origins of channeling. This personal touch segues into a broader discussion inspired by Gary Zukov's The Seat of the Soul, a book that has deeply resonated with many on their spiritual journeys. The Arcturian Collective Thingy offers their unique perspective on spiritual psychology, emphasizing the default acceptance of the oneness of all things and the harmonious interplay of energy across the universe. They explore the concept that the soul, in its purest form, is indestructible and always in perfect harmony, while the personality is what often experiences discord and discomfort. The episode also touches on the evolution of consciousness, the role of human beings as neurons in the collective mind of the planet, and the potential of artificial intelligence to enhance our collective understanding. The Arcturian Collective Thingy encourages listeners to align their personality's values with their soul's intentions and to embrace the experiences of life with compassion, recognizing that every experience, whether harmonious or discordant, is part of the soul's desired journey.Join us for a thought-provoking and expansive discussion that invites you to explore the depths of your own consciousness and the profound interconnectedness of all life.Birthday Message and Personal Reflection: A heartfelt, belated birthday message to the Man in the Chair's sister, reflecting on childhood memories of channeling and play.Spiritual Psychology Defined: The Arcturian Collective Thingy's perspective on spiritual psychology, emphasizing the oneness and interconnectedness of all existence. The Nature of the Soul vs. Personality: Exploration of the soul's indestructible and harmonious nature contrasted with the personality's experience of discord and discomfort.Role of Relationships and Energy: Discussion on how energy forms relationships and patterns that contribute to the evolution of consciousness and the creation of complex systems. The Evolution of Consciousness: Insights into how humans, as part of a larger cosmic consciousness, are evolving and their role as neurons in the collective mind of the planet.Impact of Artificial Intelligence: The potential of AI to enhance human understanding and collective empathy, facilitating deeper connections among individuals.Integration of Unconscious and Conscious: Encouragement to align the personality with the soul's intentions by embracing unconscious desires and experiences.Challenges of External Conditioning: The influence of external narratives and stories that have shaped human judgment and disharmony, and the opportunity to overcome these through internal awareness.Harmony in the Universe: The idea that from a soul's perspective, all experiences, even those involving chaos and suffering, contribute to the overall harmony and evolution of consciousness.

I speak with entrepreneur and “good guy of the Indian startup scene”, Dhimant Parekh. He's the founder and CEO of The Better India and The Better Home - the former is a media company that shines a spotlight on people making a difference, and the latter is a line of sustainable home-cleaning products. His LinkedIn bio starts with “I love to build useful stuff from scratch.”When I floated the idea for this show on Twitter last year, more than one person wrote in saying I should definitely have him on the show. And that was a good idea - Dhimant was called, by one of those people, as the “most productive person I know”. Apart from running these two seemingly different companies, he also has a lot of outside interests - theatre, reading, the startup scene in general, quantum physics… all in all, great guest material for my humble little show. What I spoke to Dhimant about:How one's upbringing can really shape what they do in the futureOn how parallel interests can rub off on each otherFinding your own work style (Dhimant, admittedly, is not a calendar-oriented person)Why the most important skill today is the ability to narrate a storyHow his company dealt with the pandemic and overcame several oddsPositivity and finding hope in a time like thisHis various interests: from PASCAL to quantum physics. For years now we have been hearing about the shift in consciousness upon the planet. But what does that actually mean to human evolution and how that will look in our world? We’ll talk to Gary Zukov, his newest book Universal Human: Creating Authentic Power and the New Consciousness has his vision of where we are going and who we will be.
ichard D. Blackstone is the perfect example of what Nuts and Bolts Spirituality is all about. He is a former "sleepwalker" who has lived an adventure-filled life with the typical financial highs and lows that accompany people who appreciate exploring the unknown rather than settling for the mundane. After graduating from the University of Oregon in 1969, with a BS in marketing, he traveled the world as an officer in the Navy. This rewarding experience allowed him to see and know other cultures and thereby develop an appreciation of the diversity of the world we live in.Upon release of duty he did corporate work for Sears, was a heavy-duty mechanic on the Alaska pipeline, and owned a commercial fishing business based in Kodiak, Alaska. He is currently a successful real estate consultant and avid golfer. These occupations were great opportunities for him to grow and explore his world but, like most "sleepwalkers," he always felt that there was something missing from his life that, once he found it, would change his life profoundly. Like most "sleepwalkers" he kept seeking the missing "key to life" by doing things external to himself in an attempt to be "successful," i.e. make lots of money. He kept thinking, in the back of his mind, how he didn't seem to have a "passion" for any of the things he was "doing" in his life. He had met many people who seemed to be living their passion and he saw the enthusiasm they had for life and how their lives seemed more effortless than those who were "sleepwalking" through their lives. The two constants that pervaded his life were his love of reading and the sense that he was somehow being prepared for something in the future. He now "knows" that the future is "now" and the "passion" that has eluded him can be easily found and used by going within and following the spiritual path that has been a part of him all along. To walk this spiritual path you have to first "wake up" from being a "sleepwalker." His awakening occurred about ten years ago after seeing Deepak Chopra on a PBS fundraiser talking about "The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success." That first lecture and the reading of the book opened his eyes to the passion he had been searching for externally his whole life. As he continued down the path of spirituality he immersed himself in the writings of Deepak Chopra, Wayne Dyer, Gary Zukov, Caroline Myss, and many other contemporary teachers, but the "Conversations with God" series of books authored by Neale Donald Walsche revealed to him the profound aspects of spirituality that has fueled the passion that has awakened him completely from the life of a "sleepwalker" and bestowed the importance in him of "being a messenger."He is fond of saying that his entire life changed the day he read the following passage from "Conversations with God, Book One," page twenty. ""The deepest secret is that life is not a process of discovery, but a process of creation. You are not discovering yourself, but creating yourself anew. Seek, therefore, not to find out Who You Are, seek to determine Who You Want To Be."" Sometimes the biggest enemy of your sense of confidence is the voice in your head. When your brain is telling you that you’re not good enough, that others know something you don’t, or that everyone has an easier time than you do, it’s really hard to feel confident. Perfectionism, procrastination, hiding, overindulging--they’re all habits of self-sabotage that can rob you of feeling comfortable in your own skin or prevent you from taking action on your goals. That was the situation that Anna Goldstein found herself in at 25 years old. She was living in New York City with big hopes and dreams for her future, but she was stumbling. She’d already had four different jobs, lived in three different apartments, and felt completely lost, alone, and isolated. She was consumed by the voice in her head that told her she was a failure and that her future didn’t look bright. She obsessively tracked what she was eating and fixated on the number on the scale. She believed her critical thoughts and went on for many years with low self-esteem and plummeting confidence But deep down, she knew there was more. She realized she didn’t have to believe everything in her mind. And that’s when she woke up and realized that in order to change her life, she had to change the “negative” story she was telling herself. Today, Anna is an NYU-Certified Life & Business Coach and the host of the Profit With Purpose podcast. She has a gift for zooming straight to the heart of any issue and she’s developed a reputation for helping her clients figure out what they truly want—and go after it. Through Anna’s method and experiences, you’ll learn that confidence isn’t about having the perfect body, the perfect house, or the perfect life. Confidence comes when you change your relationship with yourself and that will ripple out into your relationships at home, at work, and—yes—even with food. You’ll feel inspired to not be afraid to fail, to trust your gut, and take the practical steps to build your self-esteem and confidence. In this episode, Anna shares: A new way to view fear and failure How your relationship with food can shift once you quiet your mind Why confidence isn’t about body size or type A powerful exercise to identify and release negative thoughts And SO MUCH more Learn more about Anna Goldstein: Be Bold: A Guide To Unbreakable Confidence Anna’s Website Instagram: @selfinthecity Twitter: @selfinthecity Facebook: @selfinthecity Find the Profit With Purpose podcast on your favorite app! Today’s title may sound cryptic and odd, but by the time you’ve listened to this episode, I promise you will totally get it! I'll cover what is called the "internal boundary" using a recent event from my own life that will help clarify exactly what the internal boundary is and how it works. Biggest Takeaways From Episode #18: The internal boundary is the boundary that all of us have—or should have. When you experience an event or situation, you filter that experience through your perception and judgments. You then decide what you think and how you feel, and decide want to do about what you’ve experienced—if anything. This is how the internal boundary works. When your internal boundary is solid, you respond rather than react. When you’re trying to decide what to do about an issue, take a moment to think about how important it is to you. Rate it on a scale of 1-10, and use that to help you decide. If you rate something as a 7 or higher, you probably need to respond in some way, rather than letting it go. Highlights from Episode #18: Vicki introduces the topic (and the title) of today’s episode. [00:48] To illuminate the internal boundary and how it works, Vicki offers a simple example of what happened to her—internally—when she made the mundane realization that the spatula she wanted to use was in the dishwasher. [04:54] Vicki discusses Step 1 of the 5-Step Boundary Solution process, then returns to talking about the spatula incident. [13:28] When you experience something that you don't like (especially when it has to do with another person), most of us have a default toward either talking to the other person about it or letting it go. Take a moment and ask yourself what your default is. [17:34] Vicki talks about the expression, “would you rather be right, or would you rather be happy?” [20:01] Vicki discussed the three options of what to do shen something another person does doesn’t work for you. Inner Vision
Sometimes after I do these interviews, I have to stop and really think about what I'm doing. I mean, with this job I've chosen. On the one hand, as we all know, this topic of trauma, is nothing short of devastating. Sometimes the interviews are challenging and stories can be hard to listen to.And yet at the same time, after almost all of the interviews I do, I walk away completely inspired, energized by the strength of my guests, and also truly hopeful with the courage of the human spirit. Today's episode truly encapsulates each of those elements. And it was an interview that really did bring me back to center and made me realize (again!) that I'm in the right place and doing what I love. The Kavanagh Sisters were born into a large family of ten children in the mid-1950’s and 1960’s in a disadvantaged area of Dublin, where their father sexually abused each of them for over two decades. In 1989 they made the decision to bring charges against their father and, in 1990, the Irish state took a successful case against him and he was convicted and sentenced to a term of seven years and was released having served five years. --- A giant thank-you to my sponsors for making this podcast happen: Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute ( https://www.sensorimotorpsychotherapy.org/home/index.html ) Do you struggle to help numb, disconnected clients who can’t feel emotion or explore inner experience?
