Access to the digital world is now a necessity - however one hundred and twenty thousand Kiwi kids can't access a learning device at home. The 'Quadrent Green Lease' scheme is helping to close the digital equity gap by supplying school pupils in need of tech with refurbished ex-lease machines that otherwise might end up in waste. Since 2022 400 high quality ex-lease laptops have been donated. Rob Downie, is the Head of Health & Physical Education at Auckland's Tangaroa College, whose pupils are among the recipients of this scheme. The scheme is run by Quadrent, BNZ, and Te Puni Kokiri. Gary Nalder, the General Manager of Quadrent New Zealand joins Rob Downie and Kathryn Ryan.

He was also the Head Football Coach for the last 11 seasons at Corry and served as the Athletic Director there as well. Graduating from George Mason University as an Academic All American and a Division 1 Wrestler/Athlete with a BS in Education certified to teach Health & Physical Education. Matthew became a Personal Trainer and attended the Potomac Massage Training Institute. After graduating from the Potomac Massage Training Institute (PMTI). Matthew opened a private massage practice and worked for Arlington County, VA as Personal Trainer. Matthew moved on to become Lead Trainer at the Thomas Jefferson Community Center and prepared the training staff to work with the participants and helped to grow the program to one of the largest and most successful in the area. At the same time he returned to The Potomac Massage Training Institute to become an instructor in the final portion of their deep tissue program where he worked for 4 years educating many massage professionals and building his knowledge of the muscular system. Also at this time he continued to take as many continuing education courses as possible at PMTI including Neuro Muscular Therapy, Rolfing, Reiki, Cranio Sacral, Myo Facial Release, Trigger Point Therapy and Massage as a Medical Intervention. After leaving Arlington County and continuing his private massage practice, Matthew became the Director of Education for Arington, VA based Fit One Personal Training, again educating the staff to provide the best exercise services possible. Around this same time Matthew met Tom Purvis the creator of The Resistance Training Specialist Program (RTS). Matthew had a passion for exercise and strength training and quickly gained his Mastery Level Status in this physics based program. He excelled in his understanding of exercise mechanics and became one of RTS’s first instructors helping Tom Purvis educate exercise professionals in understand the importance of a physics based training model and decision making process. In 2001 Tom Purvis met and introduced the RTS Instructor group to Greg Roskopf the creator of Muscle Activation Techniques (MAT). It was at this point that the blend of body work/massage and personal training, two separate businesses started to come together. Greg shared his concepts of bringing stability/contractile ability back to the body through a process of range of motion, muscle testing and origin and insertion work. At this point Greg decided to teach a 10 month 8 weekend specialist program to train others in MAT. Matthew was in the first group of students to complete the program in 2002 and the first MAT Certified Specialist in the country. It was at this point that Greg asked Matthew to move to Denver and work at the MAT Corporate HQ seeing clients and educating fitness professionals about MAT by teaching the first phase of MAT, the JumpStart Program. For the next three years Matthew traveled the country on the weekends helping to grow the MAT & RTS communities teaching the MAT JumpStart Programs and the RTS 123 courses. During the week Matthew built a thriving private practice at MAT HQ and helped Greg evolve the MAT program. While at HQ along side Greg and the instructor core Matthew helped to develop the MAT Mastery program and also became the first MAT Mastery Level Specialist. In 2005 Matthew became the Lead Instructor for the MAT Specialist Program. Over the last 10+ years Matthew has taught over 45 10 month 8 weekend Specialists courses that accounts for over 2000 students. These courses have covered the U.S. and International locations including New York, Miami, Columbus, Chicago, Minneapolis, Denver, San Francisco, Seattle, Toronto, Barcelona, London & Mexico City. In 2015 Matthew decided it was time for a change and decided to move his private practice closer to home in an effort to create more time for his family due to the busy travel schedule of teaching. This has created an ability to spend a lot more time with his wife Jennifer also an MAT Certified Specialist and RTS Mastery Level Trainer, daughter Rhys and son Ryker. This is when THE MUSCLE PROJECT was created. Preston Pedersen is in his third year of teaching and coaching at Mount Vernon High School in Mount Vernon, IA. A certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, Pedersen oversees and implements all strength and speed training and also coaches varsity football. Pedersen received his bachelor's and master's degrees from Northwest Missouri State University (Maryville, MO) where he studied Health & Physical Education and played football for the Bearcats.  While playing football, Pedersen interned for the strength and conditioning department. Upon graduation, Pedersen accepted a Strength & Conditioning graduate assistantship and was the head strength coach for Bearcat Baseball, Men's Tennis, and Women's Tennis while also assisting all other Bearcat teams. Their interview keys in on the importance of principals, longevity in a Central Office role, focusing the vision of a school district, and more! "Dr. Lonardi has been Superintendent of the Downingtown Area School District since July, 2017.  Before that, she led the West York School District for 19 years. She served two years as West York's Assistant Superintendent and was Director of Curriculum and Instruction for the Camp Hill School District for four years.  In 1988, Dr. Lonardi was named Assistant Principal of the Camp Hill PA Jr./Sr. High School having taught Health/Physical Education in the Camp Hill Jr./Sr. High School upon her graduation from West Chester University.  Dr. Lonardi received her Ph.D. from Penn State University in Educational Administration.  She received her M.S. in Human Performance/Motor Control from Indiana University.  She taught graduate classes at York College of Pennsylvania and at the Harrisburg Campus for Penn State University and is a frequent presenter on educational issues.   Dr. Lonardi was the 2014 recipient of the Pennsylvania Association of School Administrators (PASA) “Superintendent of the Year” award.  The award, based primarily on innovative leadership and academic achievement, is selected yearly by the membership. Dr. Lonardi also serves as the president for PASA and is on the PASA Governing Board for the American Association of School Administrators."

Coach Gary Schofield from Greater Atlanta Christian school located in Atlanta, Georiga. You may have seen Coach Schofield talk at many clinics and conferences and you know he has been in the business for a long time and has a  wealth of knowledge in strength coaching. He has a nationally recognized high school program down in Atlanta.  Entering his 21st year as a nationally certified and state licensed athletic trainer (NATA) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist® (CSCS, *D) & Registered Strength & Conditioning Coach® (RSCC*D) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), Coach Schofield has had the opportunity to coach and assist in the athletic development of athletes with teams and organizations from the NBA, Arena Football League, East Coast Hockey League, United States Basketball League, WCW Wrestling, North American Soccer League, the Georgia State Olympic Development Program, USA Track & Field and many other pro and amateur organizations. During the past 20 years, he has also been blessed to work individually with over 500 high school athletes that have gone on to NCAA scholarships, over 125 professional athletes, and 3 Olympians. Coach Schofield received a BS in Sports Medicine, with special emphasis in athletic training, from Marietta College (Ohio) in 1993 and have continued his education with the graduate degree program in athletic training at Georgia State University and is currently completing a Masters of Arts in Teaching in Health & Physical Education from the University of North Georgia.   Along with serving as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at GACS for the last 13 years, he also currently serves as the NSCA Southeast Regional Coordinator and was named the NSCA National High School Strength & Conditioning Coach of the Year in 2012.  The GACS Sports Performance Training Program has received national recognition by being one of only 8 institutions awarded the Strength of America Award from 2010-14 in recognition of developing an elite high school strength and conditioning program. Tracy Prosser is an assistant strength and conditioning coach at the University of Central Florida. She works directly with men’s soccer, women’s soccer, rowing and women’s golf. Additionally, she assists with the strength and conditioning duties for the football team. During her time at UCF, Prosser has directly contributed to four different team’s championship seasons. Cheer – National Champions 2007; Softball – Conference USA Tournament Champions 2008; Women’s Basketball – Conference USA Tournament Champions 2009; and Women’s Soccer – C-USA Regular Season Champions 2009 and 2010. Prior to UCF, Prosser spent five years at her alma mater, Xavier University. As an assistant at Xavier, she worked with all 16 of the Musketeer athletic teams. During her time at Xavier, the women’s basketball and volleyball teams combined for top-4 finishes each year in the Atlantic 10 Conference, three NCAA appearances and two WNIT appearances. A resident of Cincinnati, Ohio, for 10 years, Prosser earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health & Physical Education in 1998. She earned her Master of Education in Sport Administration in 2002 from Xavier. During her undergraduate career she was also a member of the Musketeer women’s soccer team. Prosser is Strength & Conditioning Coach Certified through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association and Certified Level 1 Coach & Sport Performance Coach through USA Weightlifting.
