PODCAST - LISTEN, WATCH, AND SUBSCRIBE https://linktr.ee/TransitionDrillPodcast In a candid discussion, I get into the life and passions of Bobby Holland, a retired Navy SEAL with a penchant for golf. We discuss his transition from the military to civilian life and subsequently starting his golf apparel company – Hoolie. Bobby grew up playing and loving football as well as the discipline and resilience it instilled in him. These traits would later serve him well during his challenging training at BUD/S. However, despite his athletic prowess, he admits to not having a clear vision for his future post-high school, leading him to consider alternative paths. Bobby served 21 years as a SEAL, with multiple combat deployments and retired in 2021 at the rank of Chief Warrant Officer. Guys!!! We are SO excited to bring you today's episode! Micki has been a huge fan of Katie J. aka Womanifester for about a year now and we can't believe we are able to now say she is a guest on our podcast! Micki first came across Katie J. on the Manifestation Babe Podcast, and she was talking about shadow work and working with witches. Naturally, Micki was instantly intrigued and reached out. Since then, Micki has taken multiple breath work classes and sat in (virtual) women circles with Katie, and the experiences have been transformational! In this episode, Katie J. discusses the meaning of shadow work and how beneficial it is for your alignment and TRE (Tension Stress and Trauma Release). She dives into the pre-conditioned mental blockages for the BIPOC community and how to bypass some of these blockages in order to manifest your desires. Katie J. is a shining light for all intentional manifesters. She is walking the walk for anyone who is afraid to live their authentic life. Currently, Katie J. is living and travelling in her van (named LOVE❤️...ugh) , with her dog Hoolie and hosting retreats around the United States. She is lit up by women who want to uplevel their lives in order to serve the greater good of humanity. Needless to say, we LOVE her and she fits right in here at OMJ! Congratulations! You're a curator. Or maybe you have the opportunity to hang some art at a cool venue. Whether it's your own work, or other artists, here are some fool-proof ways to make everything look great, without losing your mind. Trust me, it can happen. Coordinating artists is like herding cats. Homework #7: www.artbyhoolie.com/hw7 Hoolie is on IG & Twitter @artbyhoolie and /artbyhoolie on FB. When you’re an artist and an art teacher like me, that’s pretty much asking to be poor. No creative or educator does what they do for the money- that’s the point. We do what we want because we enjoy it, and that has its own reward. Enter, adulthood. You have to put bread on the table, and you have to have Wi-Fi up to be a real human. Here’s what I would do to get my money right. Homework #6: www.artbyhoolie.com/hw6 Hoolie is on IG & Twitter @artbyhoolie and /artbyhoolie on FB. Starting to feel like a hoarder of art supplies? Unload some of that excess, and let's focus on the stuff that you are truly going to use. Here are my top 5 tools that I use almost daily, even in a time of transition between new media. I've been cranking out more work than ever before, focusing on the necessities. Homework #5: www.artbyhoolie.com/hw5 Hoolie is on IG & Twitter @artbyhoolie and /artbyhoolie on FB. You landed yourself a job in the exciting vocation of teaching. Is your classroom a jungle, and you feel like you're the Lord of the Flies? Here is an arsenal of items I would think about stocking up on, so you can focus on self-care, student care, and organization. Homework #4: www.artbyhoolie.com/hw4 Hoolie is on IG & Twitter @artbyhoolie and /artbyhoolie on FB. Store: www.etsy.com/shop/artbyhoolie Written and performed by Juliana "Hoolie" Rowe, produced and music by Jon R. R. Rowe.
You would think inspiration comes from other artists, but that is far from the truth. Hoolie is here to debunk the mystery of where visual artists can find a well-spring inspiration- and it might not be from where you expect! Homework #1: www.artbyhoolie.com/hw3 Hoolie is on IG & Twitter @artbyhoolie and /artbyhoolie on FB. Store: www.etsy.com/shop/artbyhoolie Written and performed by Juliana "Hoolie" Rowe, produced and music by Jon R. R. Rowe.
The art and art education world can be difficult to navigate. It takes a special person to be a tattoo artist, museum coordinator, or art teacher. If you've ever wanted to quit your day job and try those out, Hoolie's here to shed some light and give some guidance. Homework #1: www.artbyhoolie.com/hw2 Hoolie is on IG & Twitter @artbyhoolie and /artbyhoolie on FB. Tired of letting those canvases collect dust in the corner? Hoolie takes you through how to identify, approach, and get your artwork ready to sell. Whether it's small, casual venues, or professional galleries, she's got you covered. Homework #1: www.artbyhoolie.com/hw1 Hoolie is on IG & Twitter @artbyhoolie and /artbyhoolie on FB. En este capítulo especial tenemos de invitados a los anfitriones de Hoolie y Dundee Hablan de Películas para hablar, precisamente, de películas. We back ! After the holiday layoff Floyd 1:18 finally got a chance to sit down with two of musics newest up and coming talent. Knukle Head out of Florida and Derrick Hoolie straight from the district. Let's talk about the soul. What is it? How is it different from the body? How do you connect with your soul? I'll discuss how your soul and body are connected. Learn how you can feed your soul and tap into what sets your soul on fire. What is your soul food? What happens when your soul detaches from your body? My Grandma gave us all a scare last week and almost passed on us. What was holding her soul here? And a BIG Happy Birthday to two loving souls in my life: To my dog Hoolie and partner Tucker! I'll talk about the struggles of being in a long distance relationship, and feeling lovesick for the first time (gag me, right?) Learn the number one way to experience love POURING into your life from all ways, shapes, and corners. ...aaaannd you guessed it, I end on a rant about Christianity. I give it credit for showing me how to believe in a higher power, the importance of rituals, gratitude, and faith. But I have a problem with uniformity, spiritual gentrification if you will... Looking forward to your thoughts!
