Jason Paltrowitz, Executive Vice President of OTC Markets, joined Richard Carleton, CEO of the Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE), and Sarah-Louise Porter from the Aquis Exchange, in a discussion with Proactive about the importance of cross-listing during the Global Markets Forum in New York. Paltrowitz emphasized that 92% of the dollar volume on OTC Markets comes from non-U.S. companies, showcasing the importance of helping these firms access U.S. capital without the complexities of major exchange listings. He highlighted that cross-listing is particularly beneficial for early-stage and venture companies, as it offers access to U.S. investors while avoiding the high regulatory costs of larger exchanges. Richard Carleton echoed these sentiments, noting that cross-listing with OTC Markets is essential for Canadian companies seeking U.S. and global exposure, especially in today's difficult capital-raising environments. Sarah-Louise Porter added that Aquis Exchange's goal is to create more efficient markets, aiding companies in navigating the challenges of global market conditions. The discussion emphasized the role cross-listing plays in corporate growth strategies and connecting global markets. #proactiveinvestors #cse #otcmarkets #aquisexchange #OTCMarkets #CrossListing #CapitalAccess #invest #investing #investment #investor #stockmarket #stocks #stock #stockmarketnews

Incanthera PLC chairman Tim McCarthy discussed latest developments at the company with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion, including the appointment of John Howes as its second non-executive director. McCarthy elaborated on a recent commercial update and fundraising effort driven by significant interest from institutional investors. The company decided to raise additional funds to increase its product launch scale, specifically doubling the initial order of its luxury skin-care brand, Skin + CELL to 100,000 units. This decision was influenced by high demand from small-cap fund managers and strategic partners Marionnaud and AS Watson. The funds raised are allocated entirely to inventory production, aligning with the strategy to launch the product in September, aiming to capitalise on pre-Christmas trading. Additionally, Incanthera is accelerating its entry into the Hong Kong market, potentially ahead of the originally planned first quarter of 2025. This move is supported by the increased financial resources, which are expected to enhance production capabilities and revenue generation. McCarthy highlighted the positive reception at the Leading Lights webinar, a showcase for the Aquis Company of the Year, showcasing its rapid growth. The company has also qualified for promotion to the 'Apex' segment of the Aquis Exchange, recognising its market capitalisation growth and adherence to corporate governance standards. #IncantheraPLC, #TimMcCarthy, #SkinPlus, #Fundraising, #ProductLaunch, #HongKongMarket, #InvestorInterest, #InstitutionalInvestors, #Merino, #Watsons, #AquisCompany, #LeadingLightsWebinar, #ApexPromotion, #CorporateGovernance, #JohnHalls, #FinancialGrowth, #PreChristmasTrading, #InventoryProduction, #RevenueGeneration, #MarketExpansion #ProactiveInvestors #invest #investing #investment #investor #stockmarket #stocks #stock #stockmarketnews

Time to ACT Plc Executive Chairman Chris Heminway joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share exciting news about the company's significant milestone of having its shares listed on the Aquis Growth Market under the symbol TTA. This achievement is expected to provide numerous benefits as Time to ACT expands its business footprint within the clean energy sector, both organically and through strategic acquisitions. Heminway explained that the Aquis listing will create a permanent capital structure to support the long-term growth of Time to ACT's businesses. The listing is also anticipated to increase the company's corporate profile and improve its negotiation position for future acquisitions. Additionally, being an Aquis listed company will enhance Time to ACT's ability to attract and retain key staff and provide future access to funding. Heminway further elaborated that Time to ACT owns several discrete operating businesses, each focused on opportunities within the Cleantech, Renewables, and Energy Transition revolution. The company is dedicated to developing and scaling up promising cleantech supply-chain technologies. By incubating and nurturing a growing portfolio of UK-based SMEs, Time to ACT aims to empower these businesses to become national and global market leaders. The company leverages its resources, expertise, and capability to form strategic relationships that drive growth and innovation. The company's comprehensive support includes providing industry and business expertise, efficient centralized back-office and finance functions, and ready access to growth-accelerating funding. These services are designed to enable the SMEs within Time to ACT's portfolio to focus on their core operations and achieve significant advancements in their respective fields. In conclusion, Time to ACT Plc's listing on the Aquis Growth Market marks a pivotal moment in the company's evolution. This strategic move is expected to unlock new opportunities for growth and expansion within the clean energy sector. With a solid foundation and a clear vision for the future, Time to ACT is well-positioned to lead in the development of sustainable technologies and make a meaningful impact in the global transition towards renewable energy. #proactiveinvestors #timetoactplc #aquis #tta #EnergyTransition #Engineering #SupplyChain #GreenTechnology #RenewableEnergy #WindTurbines #Hydrogen #AquisGrowthMarket #StockMarket #SustainableEnergy #Innovation #JohnsonMatthey #DiffusionAlloys #GreenSpur #RareEarthMagnets #AluminiumCoils #CleanEnergy #StrategicGrowth #IPRich #invest #investing #investment #investor #stockmarket #stocks #stock #stockmarketnews
Watch on YouTube Chris Hemingway, executive chairman of Time to Act PLC (TTA), recently joined Vox Markets to discuss the company's journey and unique proposition in the energy sector. Time to Act, newly listed on Aquis, is an engineering-led group focused on the energy transition supply chain, distinct from private equity or venture capital firms. Mr Hemingway emphasised its role in providing innovative solutions and intellectual property for decarbonising industries rather than manufacturing large-scale energy infrastructure. Time to Act operates through two divisions. Diffusion Alloys, a coatings company with a 60-year history, has pivoted from coating gas turbine blades to focusing on renewable technology components. Its coatings protect metal parts from high-temperature corrosion, crucial in industries like blue and green hydrogen and nuclear energy. A significant partnership with Johnson Matthey highlights its strategic role in the blue hydrogen sector. The second division, Greenspur, is developing a rare earth magnet-free and copper-free generator for the wind turbine industry. This innovation addresses supply chain concerns, particularly the forecasted copper shortage and geopolitical concerns around the supply of rare earth metals. Greenspur's patented technology uses aluminium coils, providing a sustainable alternative to traditional copper coils. Mr Hemingway discussed the strategic approach of Time to Act, focusing on building permanent capital entities with a "best owner" mentality, ensuring long-term ownership and the addition of value through its experience management overlay. While more acquisitions are on the horizon, currently the primary goal is to capture growth opportunities within the existing businesses. With a strong foundation and innovative solutions, Time to Act is poised to address the challenges of the energy transition, aiming to grow through strategic partnerships and collaborations in the green tech and clean tech industries.
Vox Markets speaks to Hamish Harris, executive director of Aquis-listed spirits investor Rogue Baron, about the valuation potential indicated by recent third-party investment into its Shinju Japanese whisky subsidiary, why George Clooney means good news for its tequila assets, and how its strategy to focus on the ultra-premium spirits category could deliver major upside for investors.
Three days into the show and we're all a bit slap happy and talking about some of our favorite novelties from Hermès, Cartier, Oris, Chopard, and Parmigiani. We also talk a bit about the general mood of the show, which we'll discuss more on our final show tomorrow. But first, we talk about: Hermès' new ladies' watch and whether it's actually a ladies' watch; Oris' new Aquis and why the lack of any mega releases might actually be the best thing for the Swiss watch industry; and we finish with dress watches from Chopard and Parmigiani Fleurier's update of the Toric collection. Durante muitos anos eu achei essas histórias contraditórias, pois a Bíblia condena a mentira.

For this one, we're back at Vendome, the SGV spirits purveyor, taproom, and Vietnamese coffee hotspot. Over the past month or so, we've had long term access to a pair of mother of pearl Aquis 36mm (36.5, actually) divers. We had the benefit of plenty of wrist time with both, as did our respective spouses, and today we share our thoughts. The "recommendations" segment at the end of this episode is pretty fun, too, so stick around to the second half! Thanks to Oris for the loaners, and thanks for listening.
This is a good one, folks! We are joined by VJ Geronimo ( head of Oris in North America ) to talk about the role of watches in philanthropy, and the value of doing good. Oris is a leader in humanitarian and environmental social responsibility, and 2022 saw the release of Oris watches that support their pursuits in both of these philanthropic arenas: the "Wings of Hope" LE as well as the Aquis "New York Harbor" LE. Both of these pieces are pretty fantastic, in our humble opinion(s). We also discuss the brand's outreach and accessibility efforts, VJ's newfound appreciation for good brown booze, and our desperate desire for more Oris models in precious metals! We think you'll enjoy this one. Thanks for listening...
David preguntó a Aquis: —Pero, ¿qué he hecho? 1 Samuel 29: Do not evade God's purpose in your life and that of your family.1 Samuel 29:3-11: Then the princes of the Philistines said, “What are these Hebrews doing here?” And Achish said to the princes of the Philistines, “Is this not David, the servant of Saul king of Israel, who has been with me these days, or these years? And to this day I have found no fault in him since he defected to me.”But the princes of the Philistines were angry with him; so the princes of the Philistines said to him, “Make this fellow return, that he may go back to the place which you have appointed for him, and do not let him go down with us to battle, lest in the battle he become our adversary. For with what could he reconcile himself to his master, if not with the heads of these men? Is this not David, of whom they sang to one another in dances, saying: ‘Saul has slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands'?”Then Achish called David and said to him, “Surely, as the Lord lives, you have been upright, and your going out and your coming in with me in the army is good in my sight. For to this day I have not found evil in you since the day of your coming to me. Nevertheless the lords do not favor you. Therefore return now, and go in peace, that you may not displease the lords of the Philistines.” So David said to Achish, “But what have I done? And to this day what have you found in your servant as long as I have been with you, that I may not go and fight against the enemies of my lord the king?”Then Achish answered and said to David, “I know that you are as good in my sight as an angel of God; nevertheless the princes of the Philistines have said, ‘He shall not go up with us to the battle.' Now therefore, rise early in the morning with your master's servants who have come with you. And as soon as you are up early in the morning and have light, depart.” So David and his men rose early to depart in the morning, to return to the land of the Philistines. And the Philistines went up to Jezreel.-----------------------------------While Saul trembled with fear, David was in a difficult situation, because he had to help the Philistines, and fight against his own brothers, the Israelites.David had made this commitment to take refuge in Philistia when he tried to hide from Saul, and this brought him other problems. David had been acting falsely, making king Achish believe that David was attacking the Israelites when he was actually attacking cities of the same Philistines. David was God's anointed to be king of Israel but he was dwelling with Israel's adversaries! When the Philistines prepared a great battle against Israel, David went out to fight against his own people and the king thought that this was a good idea, but the other generals thought it was crazy because they knew David's fame and his great feats. Here we can see that when you are chosen by God and try to hide your identity and calling, that is when awkward moments begin to occur in our lives. Jonah experienced storms, hurricanes and even lived for several days inside a giant fish that swallowed him. God did this so that Jonah would recognize that he was wrong to hide and reject God's call.Peter suffered shame and remorse for denying the Lord and his identity as one of the Lord's followers.David had a year and a few months of relative peace, but living a double life and deceiving the king. I believe that David, in the end, could not enjoy his stay with the Philistines, it was enough for one of them to discover his actions for him to be prosecuted and destroyed. Besides, facing his own people, who would one day rule, would have made him nervous. Once again, God saved him and returned him home, preventing David from confronting his own people, but tomorrow we will learn that this brought him sad consequences and a painful experience in his life.I know that God loves his children. If you really consider yourself a child of God and your family is dedicated to God, let's keep in mind that God will continue His work in us, and to fulfill that purpose He will close doors that we want to open, He will allow embarrassing, uncomfortable moments and even terrifying to make us come to our senses and return to the path where God wants to take us. Let's be sensitive when God wants to guide us and, if at any time we get out of His will, let's be grateful when God corrects us and shows us the error. Let us not be part of the statistics of those who completely failed and had their homes destroyed because they refused God's call. Even if one of your family members strays from the path, have faith and claim his/her life before God every day, praying without ceasing and without fainting until you see his/her life being resumed in the hands of God as a precise instrument to fulfill God's plan.

Interview with Britta Cox Britta Cox is Founder of Aquis and co-founder of K18. In 1990, Britta Cox decided there had to be a better, healthier way to dry your hair. One that didn't include using a bulky, friction-causing bath towel. With her ski industry background, knowledge of sports fiber technology, and an entrepreneurial mindset, she set out to find a fabric that alleviated the annoyance she experienced drying her hair. In partnership with a lab in Japan, she developed the now signature proprietary AQUITEX™fabric after months of testing. With this fabric, Britta was finally able to dry her hair the way she wanted, protecting hair at its weakest (when wet) and resulting in frizz-free, shiny, healthy hair and less dry time. Next came the iconic design. In 1999, Britta secured the patent for the hands-free wrap shape which to this date is the gold standard for the hair drying turban category. With over a million wraps and towels sold every year, AQUIS is a beloved routine staple across the globe, delivering healthy hair with less.
