Star Wars is filled with legendary conflicts, but few are as pivotal as the downfall of the Sith Empire. It all starts with the Dark Jedi Exiles—rogue Force users who rejected the Jedi Code and found refuge among the Sith. Their arrival reshaped an entire civilization, leading to the rise of warlords like Naga Sadow, whose ambitions ignited the Great Hyperspace War. And that war? It didn't just test the Republic—it shattered the Sith Empire, setting the stage for everything that followed. Today, we're breaking down the origins of the Sith's rise and fall, the battles that defined them, and the consequences that rippled through galactic history. Let's get into it.◉ JOIN THE DISCORD: https://discord.gg/Q9sM3NJ52USupport the channel here: https://patreon.com/LordDagovere- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Follow Lord Dagovere ◉ Twitter: https://twitter.com/LordDagovere◉ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/lorddagovere ◉ Podcast: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast...- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Watch More Lord Dagovere!More Star Wars Reactions: The Mandalorian S1◉ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cftNy...The Mandalorian S2◉ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nBupv...Clone Wars S7◉ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x02FV...The Bad Batch S1◉ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lj_It...The Book of Boba Fett S1 ◉ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BYFgk...Obi-Wan Kenobi S1◉ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OHSTB...- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Welcome to the most HYPE and Enthusiastic Star Wars Reactor channel! No more fun and games. We're getting down to business in the first half of the Umbaran Arc (The Clone Wars 4.7–8). When's the last time you read the Geneva Convention? Because war crimes abound on Umbara, especially after Anakin is sent home to Coruscant mid-invasion and the 501st is put under General Pong Krell — a Besalisk with a VERY bad attitude. We rabbithole into Civil War-era parallels to the full-frontal assault into Umbaran territory, including the Battle of Gettysburg and the Battle of Chickamauga. We also talk about what it means to be a good soldier, what a general owes their troops, and why the Jedi Code slides in times of war. Next week, it gets darker. We're covering the final two episodes of the Umbaran arc: The Clone Wars 4.9–10, “Plan of Dissent” and “Carnage of Krell.” --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/growingupskywalker/message

This week, we ask the question: what makes a great Jedi? Is it one who strictly follows the Jedi Code? Or is it one who doesn't, and defects from the Jedi Order all together? Or is it someone in between? We go in depth into what we believe makes a "great" Jedi and what qualities we both want in our idea of the "perfect" Jedi. We declare who we each believe is our perfect Jedi, though our choice(s) may surprise you!

This episode was one of the very first episodes for the Star Wars Historians, where we briefly went through the Jedi Code and some characters of the Jedi. We are planning on revisiting this in Season Three but here were our initial thoughts on the Jedi. We hope you enjoy!
Gray Jedi refers to those distancing themselves from the Jedi Code and walking the line between the light and dark sides of the Force. This term has long been used for some characters in Legends but it still has yet to find its way into Star Wars canon. One character, Ahsoka Tano, could fit that definition. Should Gray Jedi become canon in Star Wars? To answer this complex question, we brought on Pat, co-host of ConverSWations. For more Star Wars content visit insidetheforce.com. The Jedi Code creates a lot of turmoil for people who want to become Jedi, they see the first line and think "yeah, can't make that happen." In this episode we explore the way the Jedi Code is suppose to be used, and how the Jedi Compass gets away with saying that it's okay to write your own Jediism Code. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/knightsofawakening/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/knightsofawakening/support

When Storytelling Breakdown Writer, Editor, and Producer Stephen Stachofsky wrote a blog for SB this week, he included this quote from George Lucas, "after Star Wars was released, it became apparent that my story—however many films it took to tell—was only one of thousands that could be told about the characters who inhabit its galaxy. But these were not stories that I was destined to tell. Instead, they would spring from the imagination of other writers, inspired by the glimpse of a galaxy that Star Wars provided.”Today on Storytelling Breakdown, we'll hear how SB's Ben Clemmer and Stephen Stachofsky combined forces to create an RPG campaign in the Star Wars universe. The crew of misfits was prone to bad luck and unpredictable, and things were pretty interesting for the characters too. This is Rogue Producers: A Star Wars Story. The Jedi Code is the subject of this episode's Spotlight portion and we'll hear more from the Deus Vult Podcast. So, one of the hottest movies at the box office at the moment is the latest in the Star Wars series, we felt this movie deserved a special episode to discuss what is happening. We asked Luke from Sons of Obiwan Lightsaber Academy to join us as he is one of the biggest Star Wars Nerds we know. So will say right at the outset that there will be spoilers in this if you haven’t seen the movie yet, but if you have taken this long to go see it then get out there and watch it. Now this might be a little different from other movie reviews/ discussions out there as we look at the evolution of different aspects of the series and also the arts of fighting in movies and special effects etc. Now we will advise that Buck and Luke are both super Nerds of the Star Wars universe and grew up watching these movies, read books (although Luke has read more than Buck, yep, someone has out read Buck on a topic) and just lived the life of a fan for decades. We discuss the highs and lows of this movie, what made us stop and wonder what the heck is happening. We also at the impact of other movies and stories have had on Star Wars. We discuss the language of fighting styles and the confused start to the final evolution of the current form of dance and prose employed in the Rise of Skywalker. Want to know what this means then listen in and try to keep up with the discussion. Small collectives of Star Wars fans all over the world follow the spiritual path of the Jedi. But this isn't about fandom or cosplay. They live, train, and work by the Jedi Code. And while this philosophy is rooted in modern science fantasy, the tenets are not much different from the core of Buddhism or Christianity. When you're writing python code and your editor offers some suggestions, where does that suggestion come from? The most likely answer is Jedi! Star Wars: Dark Disciple. When Disney purchased Lucasfilm in the fall of 2012 it marked the end of The Clone Wars. It was as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in horror, yet instead of being silenced, they have only continued to speak strongly, with the hashtag #SaveTheCloneWars still a staple of Twitter to this day. Since it's demise, Dave Filoni and Pablo Hidalgo have worked tirelessly to find the best venue for all the displaced stories that were in development. It is no surprise that one of these untold stories has found it's way into a novel. In this supplemental episode of The 602 Club host Matthew Rushing and John Mills dive into the latest edition to the Star Wars canon Dark Disciple by Christie Golden. We discuss a little bit of the history of the book, the writing style, what happened to redemption, Windu, a canary in the coal mines, worthy Jedi, could the story have been about Obi-Wan, foreshadowing, reconciling Yoda, the Jedi Code, an Obi-Wan question and just how good the book is. Oh the Jedi Code. You are so rigid and stiff and boring and everything that we dislike about Jedi! In this episode we rant a little about some of the big Star Wars missed opportunities and our feelings about the Jedi in the Original Trilogy and the Prequel Trilogy. We discuss our hopes about Jedi in the new trilogy. We even modify the Jedi Code and make our own!Download Episode 23 - The Jedi CodeThe Jedi Code was a code of conduct intended to help establish, regulate and maintain the general behavior of all Jedi. Despite undergoing, at some point during Jedi history, a subtle but substantial alteration of at least its written tenets, the code's fundamental context and meaning, invoking as it did self-discipline, tolerance, compassion, harmony and peaceful exploration, remained unchanged.
