Operazione Paura, Operation Fear, Die toten Augen des Dr. Dracula, Curse of the Living Dead, Don't Walk in the Park? None of those titles feel like a good fit for this movie, and neither does Kill, Baby...Kill! (1966), but I guess we'll just go with that one.

(1966)Bava has outdone himself again, with another beautifully shot, atmospheric masterpiece filled with mystery and witchcraft. I gave this film a 9/10 for bascially crafting the perfect October Spooker filled with foggy cemeteries, antiquated stone villages, and a creepy mansion to boot! We start by briefly discussing what we’ve done lately involving horror. Liam talks about seeing Black Christmas, and Justin hasn’t seen anything involving horror. We begin by talking about Blood And Black Lace. We give a brief summary of the film and talk about the influence it had on the subgenre of giallos. The films “groundbreaking” qualities are discussed, including it’s contributions to the ‘whodunit’ style films. Giallos in general are discussed briefly, and we talk at length about the films unorthodox choices in lighting and cinematography. The look of the villain, the brutality of the kills, and the films lack of cheesy clues/red herrings is touched upon. Next up is Kill Baby, Kill! We give a brief summary of the film, and discuss the films lack of stakes. We discuss the films somewhat flat cinematography, lack of real narrative, and somewhat boring story. We weren’t really big fans of this movie so we didn’t really have much to say. Dan and Vicky tackle their first bona fide B movie with the Roger Corman produced Alien rip-off Forbidden World from 1982.  The movie began life under the title Mutant but was quickly re-edited and re-titled by Corman to take out most of director Allan Holzman's nods at humor and give the film a title he thought wouldn't stump viewers.  Also tacked on was a pre-credit battle in space scene Corman insisted upon as a shameless Star Wars riff.
