Welcome to Hollywood and Beyond Podcast with Cincinnati Host Steven Brittingham Hollywood and Beyond Podcast:Created, Produced, Edited, Sound, Guests Booked by, and Hosted by Steven Brittingham Show Theme by: Dario Saraceno State Of Slay Promo by: Carrie Genzel He is BACK!! The man behind schemer Adam Carrington on ABC’s DYNASTY returns to share even more television memories with Host Steven Brittingham. Including his latest appearance in Genoa City as a mysterious man from Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) past on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS (CBS). Gordon Thomson shared so many memories of his career with me during his first visit. His discussion this time around is no different. This is definitely not a repeat. Fresh topics including even more DYNASTY memories not previously discussed, his experience recently on Y&R, and his detailed comments about portraying Mason Capwell on SANTA BARBARA are even more in-depth. Plus we discuss other talented co-stars we didn’t get to talk about last time including Jack Coleman (Steven Carrington) from DYNASTY and Nancy Lee Grahn from Santa Barbara, and his positive comments about Lauralee Bell (Y&R). One of the moments I truly enjoyed was Gordon’s thoughts on Terri Garber. He was not only very impressed with her artistry but also found her to be someone with a rare combination of both beauty and as he put it “a profound depth to her.” His latest theater role, his life today, his upfront opinions about the craft of acting, it is indeed an honor having Gordon back. It is also good to know I can get him to break out in spontaneous laughter here and there like our first encounter. This conversation with Gordon is sentimental, in-depth and a very detailed trip back down memory lane with an actor who is a prime example of excellence. Enjoy the show! Nancy Lee Grahn is a Soap Opera Goddess! As Alexis Davis on General Hospital she's been through it all... Killed, resurrected, married, divorced, gave a daughter up for adoption, battled cancer, plea bargained a hit and run, attempted murder, drug possession, faked an alternate personality, pretended to be a butler, killed a guy and slapped many, many people. You can see all of that on GH, what you hear today is her true life soap opera and the journey that she took to find true love. It does not involve a long lost twin or aliens, but we think you'll love it anyway. Our theme song was written and performed by Steve O'Reilly with lead vocals by Karen Rockower Glass.

He started performing in dinner theatres while working on acheiving his degree in Speech and and Theater at Middle Tennessee State. After graduating and making several guest appearances on primetime television series such as "ChiPs," Lane's big break came in 1981 as he was cast in the role of Dr. Evan Whyland on NBC's "Days of our Lives." Though the character of Evan never got picked up by fans or the show, Lane left DAYS in less than a year. It was not until 1984 when he officially hit it big when he was cast as Mason Capwell on "Santa Barbara." A lawyer to his credit, one of the most infamous couples during the show's run was that of Mason and Julia, played by Nancy Lee Grahn, who now plays Alexis Davis on ABC's "General Hospital." The two would later reunite when Davies went to play the role of Cameron on the show. Another one of the infamous storylines during the show's run was Mason witnessing Mary DuVall's death when the "C" atop the Capwell building fell on her. Lane left Santa Barbara in 1989, and made a brief return to daytime as being a temp Ridge Forrester on CBS Daytime's "The Bold and the Beautiful," in 1992. 10 years later, he came to GH as Dr. Cameron Lewis, where he worked alongside Nancy again, as well as Chad Brannon and Tony Geary. After two years of trying to snag an interview, it has finally come to where we can safely say finally that Nancy Lee Grahn makes her very first appearance on BuzzWorthy Radio this week. Nancy Lee Grahn currently plays the role of Alexis Davis on ABC Daytime's General Hospital. She first got her start in daytime television on One Life to Live playing Beverly Wilkes. After moving to Los Angeles in 1982, she had guest starring roles in hit primetime shows such as Magnum, PI and Murder, She Wrote. It wasn't until 1985 that we would undeniably fall in love with a new role. Nancy was cast as Julia Wainwright on the former NBC soap opera, Santa Barbara. Though initially, Julia and Mason Capwell, played by Lane Davies, sparred, it wouldn't be long before they had a connection that fans began to love. In 1989, she was received a Daytime Emmy Award for her performance as Julia, with Soap Digest and Soap Opera Update awards soon to follow. In 1996, Nancy came to General Hospital as Alexis Davis, a role that she continues to play to this day. She has endured a lot of trials and tribulations since her arrival in Port Charles. Killing a mad man, her daughter having an affair with her husband, cancer, and now dealing with the mob yet again, we sometimes forget that she is a Cassadine....and her feud with Helena, played by Constance Towers, was a great rivalry that has yet to resurface.
