Survivor 51 Trailer Breakdown Get ready for a wild new chapter as Survivor enters its Open era with Season 51! Rob Cesternino returns to break down the highly anticipated Survivor 51 trailer, sharing his frame-by-frame analysis and theories about how this season will shake up the game like never before. As castaways storm the beach without buffs and chaos rules from the very start, Rob investigates the Jurassic Park-inspired vibe and wonders how permanent uncertainty will test both players and viewers. Rob dives into the key moments from the trailer, starting with Jeff Probst's proclamation that “every advantage, every idol, every twist we've ever done—50 seasons of Survivor—is in play.” With helicopters landing unexpectedly and contestants tossing around words like “chaos” and “shape shifting game,” Rob questions how strategy can survive when the rules shift beneath the players' feet. He discusses the marooning return, the possibility of tribe pick or draft at the outset, and teases new personalities like Brady, Kilby, and Linnae, whose “poop positive” confessional already sets a memorable tone. – Survivor's Open era signals no boundaries: any twist from the past can reappear without warning – Trailer hints at a chaotic season start with a marooning, missing buffs, and a massive scramble for supplies – The introduction of 21 players, potential tribe shake-ups, and the mystery of the helicopter's arrival – Contestant confessionals highlight the looming unpredictability, with references to chaos theory and shape-shifting gameplay – Rob questions whether too much randomness could undermine strategic play, drawing parallels to past “new era” uncertainty As Survivor 51's Open era throws everything into the mix, Rob wonders if anyone can truly plan ahead or if the game will reward pure adaptability. Will players find a way to thrive in a season where Jurassic-sized twists lurk around every corner? In this week's Ag View Pitch market outlook, Chris and Jarod Creed break down what farmers should be watching heading into the April 20-24 marketing week. They discuss planting delays across parts of the Corn Belt, why the market still does not seem overly concerned yet, and how quickly that could change if wet weather sticks around. They also dig into one of the biggest issues facing farms right now, old crop corn still sitting in the bin. This episode covers basis risk over the next 30 to 45 days, why carrying corn deeper into summer could get expensive, and why some operations may need to keep making sales even if prices are still frustrating. The conversation also touches on outside market drivers, including energy, fertilizer, wheat, and Brazil's currency situation, plus what those factors could mean for corn and soybean pricing going forward. Jared also shares practical thoughts on getting offers working and avoiding complacency during planting season. If you are a farmer trying to manage old crop, think through basis, or stay disciplined on new crop sales during planting, this episode is for you.

Hello and welcome to the ZimmCast. I'm Chuck Zimmerman. In this episode of the podcast I'm going to share some audio from the National Ethanol Conference. While Laura McNamara worked with Syngenta Seeds at Commodity Classic, which overlapped with the NEC, yours truly drove to Orlando and took photos, interviews and session audio in a custom virtual ag newsroom on AgNewsWire.com. To start out with, Patrice Banks, Founder of Girls Auto Clinic, who spoke at the NEC Women's Leadership Breakfast, also spoke at one of the sessions. Hers was titled, Cultivating a New Crop of Ethanol Advocates. Renewable Fuels Association staff member, Kendra Coulson, Marketing and Membership Manager, helps with educating new audiences and she has worked with Patrice and her audience. On a different topic RFA has scholarships given out at the NEC. I thought you might like to hear how one winner of the Young Professionals Network scholarship is Verena Hopkins. If you would like to hear more about what is going on in the renewable fuels world and specifically, ethanol, check out our virtual newsroom. We've got plenty more and besides the newsroom you can see stories from it on Energy.AgWired.com and the latest episode of The Ethanol Report. That's the ZimmCast for now. I hope you enjoy it and thank you for listening.

The May WASDE dropped Monday, May 5th, and the market reacted to both predicted records and to a few unexpected surprises. Given the number of acres and the USDA's trendline yield, the department is officially estimating a record breaking corn crop in 2025– at least at this early moment in the season. To help us understand the latest, we're joined once again by DTN's Lead Markets Analyst Rhett Montgomery, who puts both old crop updates and new crop estimates into perspective as we take in the first look that spans from the 2024-25 season into 25-26. Rhett reminds us that these forward looking estimates still contain substantial uncertainty, especially on the global balance sheet, but that doesn't stop markets from reacting. In addition to analysis on new production and planting figures, we'll hear the latest basis news, updates on trade and usage for the major grains, and tackle bearish and bullish shifts throughout the market. Plus, we'll hear what Rhett will be paying attention to as planting comes to a close.

One of the greatest gifts you can offer a teen is confidence. The other? A process for refining that raw self-assurance into an impressive talent and invaluable life skill. But where to start? At the beginning, of course! Join Key Change co-hosts Andrea Fellows Fineberg and Anna Garcia as they happily infiltrate Orientation Day for the Young Voices program, one of several prestigious youth-focused initiatives at Santa Fe Opera. Get to know this year's cohort as they share their first-day impressions and program goals. Key Change favorites Amy Owens, director of the Young Voices program, and Charles Gamble, director of Community Engagement, also stop by to preview the program's curriculum and performance opportunities culminating in a much anticipated public recital. "They're coming into a good environment for nurturing," beams Charles as he watches 17 of the 19 high schoolers begin to bond with one another and absorb the creative energy around them. After today, each student will participate in private voice lessons before reuniting for retreats and ensemble work. Young Voices is an intense program. "So, I've built in some things that make it a little bit easier for them,” Amy assures us. Does she have any advice for this year's cohort? "Whatever is meant to happen––whether you pursue a career in music or something else––that's gonna happen no matter where you go," she offers. "Taking a little bit of pressure off and letting them experience the joy of interacting with their process, with music, is what I hope this program can provide them within a season of stress." In this week's North American Ag Spotlight Chrissy Wozniak sits down with Ricardo Reyes who serves as Executive Vice President of Global Manufacturing, Quality, and R&D for Heartland Food Products Group, owner of the iconic Splenda® Brand. Ricardo shares the story of their stevia farm located in Central Florida. It all started over 20 years ago when they began investing in the natural breeding of stevia plants. Plant A and Plant B are cross-pollinated by bees and their seeds are tested for strong agricultural properties and, of course, the sweetest and best tasting sugars, called glycosides. The process is repeated until they had the best stevia plants and the best-tasting combinations of stevia glycosides, sweet and without bitterness. They then take cuttings from those mother plants and propagate them over and over again, growing roots from the cuttings, creating more versions of the same plant. This gives a consistency of sweetness from acre to acre. An all-natural process, without genetic engineering.Ricardo is an experienced Food Processing Engineer, holds a Master of Science in Product Design and Development from Northwestern University, and is a noteworthy leader in the food & beverage industry. Ricardo's passion to help people reduce sugar has led him to develop the best-tasting Splenda products and the innovative farming process at Splenda Stevia Farms. Included in his areas of expertise are sugar reduction, coffee processing, and thermally processed beverages, of which he is credited with holding two patents, one for a unique coffee cold brew extraction process and one for a heat exchanger design for aseptically processed purees. Over recent years, Ricardo's leadership over Manufacturing and R&D has expanded the Splenda® Brand beyond sweeteners into other product lines, including Splenda Coffee Creamers, Splenda Diabetes Care Shakes, Splenda Sweet Teas and more.Based outside of Indianapolis, Heartland Food Products Group is a global leader in the production of low-calorie sweetener products, creamers, beverage concentrates, coffee, and nutritional drinks. Heartland is on a mission to help people live happier, healthier and longer lives by making it easier to reduce sugar through its delicious, low-calorie sweeteners. The Splenda® Brand is the most recognizable and iconic low-calorie sweetener ("LCS") brand in the world, having sold more than 100 billion yellow packets since its launch in 1991. Today, the Splenda Brand is the clear #1 LCS brand in the USA. Splenda is the name for great tasting, low calorie foods and beverages.
