A bumper show for you as we look back on a Non-League Day of highs and lows - and preview a huge FA Vase semi-final first leg on Saturday. Three cracking interviews for you to enjoy, starting with Ebbsfleet United CEO Damian Irvine after the club's relegation was confirmed - he discusses the gap between the National League South and the National League and reflects on mistakes the club have made - but is positive that under Josh Wright things will be better next season. Whitstable stand one tie from Wembley and boss Jamie Coyle is in confident mood ahead of the sold-out visit of Hartpury University on Saturday in the first leg of their last-four clash, with his side unbeaten in 16 games and the arch in sight... There's been a change in the dugout at Cray Wanderers after Neil Smith moved on to become assistant manager at Crawley - and his number two Tim O'Shea has stepped up in his place - Tim tells us about how it all came about, his hopes for the future and enjoying life at Wanderers. There's a new boss coming at Sheppey United, and a change at Lordswood too and we discuss that and all the rest of the news from across the county. And we talk musical instruments, Last One Laughing, Snow White and loads more besides. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Your calls with Clinton Morrison & Conor McNamara after England's first game under Tuchel and we celebrate Non-League Day with fans across the country.
It is Non League Day weekend and so we celebrate all that is great about Non League. To help us we head south to Whitehawk FC where their latest project I hope will inspire a whole new set of supporters indeed a whole new generation of supporters. I'm joined by three of those involved. Not the butcher, the baker and candlestick makers so often used to sneer at Non League but a Poet, a Visual artist and a Vice Chairman. David Attree, David Shrigley OBE and Mr Kevin Miller, Whitehawk fans one and all, and big advocates for the magic of Non League. Matt Badcock is on hand again from The Non Leagues Paper. There's agglomeration of sports sites, managerial moves, and the business of football clubs all on the agenda as he also plans a bumper read with a mass of Non League Day initiatives set to headline the Non League Paper this weekend.

The Assistant Professor of Football: Soccer, Culture, History.
If you are in England on the nice Spring weekend of March 22nd, I hope you didn't book the trip to see a Premier League game. Because there are none. It's a dreaded national team break again. But on the other hand, that weekend may also be one of the best to soak in English football culture, because it's the Annual “Non-League Day," an annual, grassroots-led spotlight on non-professional football in England, a chance for those clubs to "promote the importance of affordable volunteer-led community football," for fans who don't follow the big clubs across the country to show support for their local amateur side - and a chance for the educated soccer fan to look into the bottom of the English league pyramid, and find there is a lot of vibrancy, passion and sacrifices there. Today, in preparation, we are highlighting that day and the work and volunteers surrounding it, with James Doe, who founded the Non League Day in 2010 as a kind of social media experiment, and has overseen its growth to something that is now supported by the Premier League and Football League clubs, MPs, celebrities, media organisations, charities and most importantly the non-league clubs themselvesHELPFUL LINKS FOR THIS EPISODE:Non-League Day websiteNLD on X and InstagramThe English Football League System explained on WikipediaNEW: send me a text message! With Non League Day just over a week away we catch up with founder of the whole shebang. James Doe's seemingly simple idea has played a big part in revolutionising the way clubs think about fan experience and fan engagement and now 15 years still keeps getting bigger and bigger. We find out why from the man himself. Our gaffer of the week sits atop the Isthmian Premier in a tough and tight division but he's a wiley old contender who knows all about the highs and lows of Non League football management. Gary McCann is more than ready for the battle of the final. 8 league games and if success comes, of taking on the challenge at the next level too. Matt Badcock joins us from the Non Leagues Paper in a week with some interesting talking points from Ballers league to managerial moves and more non-moves notified in advance, there's plenty in discussion and surely plenty to read in this weekend's Non League Paper.
With no STFC game this weekend, the panel look at the local non-league scene, look ahead to Eng v Bra and answer your questions.
It's Non League Day this weekend so we celebrate Non league. I've tried to find something for everybody, celebrate the quirkiness, enjoy the camaraderie, and applaud the success in adversity. This is the Non League Football Show and this is Non League. First up a returnee with 15 games still to play until the end of the season that can't be extended. By the time you listen to this, that will be 14, because with their own ground not in use due to the International break, the local pro club have offered up use of their stadium to my first guest to help his Step 3 club get through their fixture backlog. Lee Hobbs is very thankful for the support and practical about the job facing Plymouth Parkway in the coming weeks to avoid relegation. Also returning to the show another statistician, of the like, only Non League creates. It began over a decade ago as a way of providing answers to his own questions as to whether his club could get promoted, now it's this non leaguer's and many more's, go-to resource, as the season draws to a close. A big hat-tip to Peter Miller and his Google Sheets. Our Chairman this week, could easily have become a clubs in crisis feature when his club lost its long-term financial supporter. However, a strong team of volunteers, a string of community based projects and a desire to improve within realistic budgets means whilst relegation looms from Step 4, other elements of the club are thriving and the long term sustainability of the club is now well within reach at Stowmarket Town thanks to Kevin Blundell and his team. Helping us round off the show and round-up the week's news, Matt Badcock of The Non League Paper. Titles won and not quite won, managerial moves and plenty more we can read in this week's paper.
On this week's show, we look ahead to Non League Day in the Premier Division this weekend, as Ben and James were joined by North East Football Writer Mark Carruthers. We also catch up with the Managers at Marine, Worksop Town and FC United The opinions expressed within this programme are solely those of the contributors involved, and do not express the views or opinions of the Northern Premier League. A slightly shorter show this week due to availability of our planned guests but hopefully as engaging as ever. So close in recent seasons, Berkhamsted are now just a point from the title at Step 4 in the Southern League and Chairman Steve Davis believes his club is more than ready for the next step, but first that trip to Hertford. As we reach Non League Day 2023 Matt Badcock is on hand from the Non League Paper to preview this weekend's issue and discuss England C, New contracts and the managerial merrygoround's latest hop on and hop offs.
It's Non-League Day and if there's one thing we love, it's naff football! In one of our most random episodes to date, we talk all things North Leigh, Wrexham and Sporting Khalsa. Ex-Sheffield United striker Carl Asaba drops in to talk about his old club reaching another FA Cup semi-final. Stewart Downing talks Middlesbrough and their push for promotion. The panel reflect on the controversial Rotherham-Cardiff abandonment, Wigan's woes and Derby County's slump in form. Plus Charlie Austin swings by after scoring four goals for Swindon, and Ollie Bayliss looks ahead to Non-League Day. TOPICS: 3:20 – Sheffield United, 18:00 – Middlesbrough, 26:30 – Rotherham-Cardiff, 29:30 – Wigan, 35:15 – Derby, 39:20 – Charlie Austin, 45:20 – Non-League Day.
A slightly different week this one our feature this week is really the love of the beautiful game. As the two Bury football club factions seek to once again come together we speak with the half currently with a ground but no club. Not the non league experience, nor effectively a team to support just yet week in week out, but it does seem a sharing of values that are important to non league and important for his historic club to come together and build it's future chapters. With non league day also just around the corner we speak to a man on the inside. A veteran ground-hopper, a season ticket holder at Chelsea but also one of non league's finest ambassadors and advocate from the work he puts in organising and promoting Non League Day, so it's great to get to speak to Ian Bailey Jon Couch provides the weekly round up from NOn League Towers with plenty on the agenda in another busy Non League week.
It may be international break but the football doesn't stop with plenty of EFL action this weekend. Aaron Paul is joined by Sheffield United midfielder Ollie Norwood and Solihull Moors boss Neal Ardley on the pod and Ollie tells us what's behind Sheffield United's turn in form which has seen them jump from 14th to 5th in just 63 days. There's been two new managerial appointments at the bottom of League Two – Barrow manager Phil Brown and Stevenage boss Steve Evans talk about what it's like to be brought in towards the end of the season to turn things around and escape relegation. And with Non-League Day approaching, Neal tells us what it's like to manage in the National League. 1'01 - Sheffield United's recent form 9'18 - Barrow manager Phil Brown on why he took the job 16'55 - How do you turn around a football team? 22'50 - Steve Evans on his new job at Stevenage 37'12 - Non-League Day
This week we celebrate the best of non-league. First up, after a year out of the dugout, one of Non-league's finest managers is back… ironically in the same dugout he last left. Former Bromley boss Neil Smith is back as a gaffer, this time for groundsharers Cray Wanderers as they aim to stay in Step 3. A tough 6 games await and Smudger can't wait. After a brief break during the pandemic, Non League Day returns this weekend. Founder James Doe explains why he thinks non-league is on the rise and what some clubs have in their plans to encourage fans this weekend. Also returning from a pandemic break is the England C team. Without direct help from the FA, the National and Trident Leagues have helped fund the return of the England non-league team, lead by Paul Fairclough once again. The manager has helped light the careers of many over the years and he's keen to keep up that record as his side prepare to face Wales C in Caernarfon on Wednesday. Rounding off the show, Executive Editor at the Non League Paper Jon Couch, is in the chair to provide a round-up of the week's news and what we can expect to read in the weekend's edition.
Tim Fuell welcomes back some old friends of the show as we celebrate the best in non league. First up Bobby Wilkinson on making progress on and off the field with his project at Bracknell Town. Leading scorers, meanest defence and clear leaders in the Isthmian South Central Division at Step 4, they are eyeing up Step 3 but taking each game as it comes. James Doe came up with the idea for Non League Day and after two years without due to the pandemic is looking forward to celebrating the 11th edition in a month's time. Hear how your club could get involved and why Non League Day has already proven a difference to our level of football. Our level of football is represented next week in the final 16 of the FA Cup by Boreham Wood. @FACupFactFile Phil Annets is on hand to help with the stats, facts and possibilities for them and the other clubs involved in the 8 midweek ties. Rounding up the show and the week's news is Executive Editor at The Non League Paper Jon Couch. On the agenda: Managerical moves, ground safety, storm damage and the twists to come in the National League.
After a short lay-off the show is back on the weekend that would have been Non League Day. Tim Fuell returns with another hour of non league football insight and views.David Richardson Senior Writer at The Non League Paper helps with a round-up of what's been going on over the summer and what to expect this in this weekend's issue.Phil Annets @FACupFactfile gives his take on the greatest cup competition in the world as it reaches the Third Round Qualifying. Plenty of cupsets already this season and there's a golden opportunity for the remaining clubs to reach the First Round Proper as Phil reminds us.The manager's view this week comes from one of non league's most experienced gaffers who doesn't always get the big attention his pedigree deserves. Having led his side to four wins from four at the start of the Northern Premier League campaign this term however, he is sure to be attracting more attention. Paul Carden explains more about the magic at Warrington Town.

Euro 2020'nin kapıları açıldı, biraz tespit çokça anılar. Eski eleme gruplarını da hatırlayalım dedik. Mallorca'daki Nadal müzesine sanal turumuza bekleriz. İngiltere'de geçen cumartesinin konusu olan Non League Day'in de detaylarını anlatıyoruz.

Endlich geht's wieder heiß her auf Giesings Höhen.
Dave Anderson is back in the studio with Tim Fuell as they reflect back on Non League Day, the FA Vase and scoring goalkeepers. Joining them, @FACupFactfile Phil Annets with some quirky stats and facts about the FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round like only he knows. Harrogate Town boss Simon Weaver comes on ahead of their big FA Cup match against Wrexham and discusses how his squad are coping with life in the National League and why he showed faith in so many. Nuneaton Borough boss Nicky Eaden also joins the boys to explain the precarious position at his club and why he is keeping going for now, cutting is cloth accordingly.
With Liverpool without a game this weekend due to the international break, we thought we would focus attention on football that is far removed from the Premier League for our latest podcast. It’s Non-League Day in England, which means football fans, not just of top-flight and Championship clubs, are encouraged to get down and support their local team, and discover just what a brilliant job they do.So to mark that, we spoke to three people who play, manage and are heavily involved in non-league football in this area. Our first guest is Craig Lindfield, the former Liverpool striker who fired the club to its last FA Youth Cup wins, in 2006 and 2007, and who has spent the past five years in non-league football, currently with Nantwich Town and also recently with Runcorn Town. Our second guest is one of the most successful non-league managers of recent times, Neil Young, a big Liverpool fan who last month took charge of Marine. And our third and final guest is Paul Manning, who is the chairman of the thriving City of Liverpool Football Club.City of Liverpool are away on Non-League Day, but there are plenty of other games in and around Merseyside to attend, all of which kick-off at 3pm, and which can be seen below:Southport v York City (Postcode: PR8 6JZ)Marine v Whitby Town (L23 3AS)Warrington Town v Matlock Town (WA4 2RS)Prescot Cables v Kendal Town (L34 6ED)Bootle v Burscough (L30 1NY)Runcorn Town v Guisborough Town (WA7 4ET)Litherland REYMCA v Thackley (L21 7LA)St Helens Town v Daisy Hill (WA10 6RP)Vauxhall Motors v Seaham Red Star (CH66 1NJ) For information regarding your data privacy, visit acast.com/privacy

Mark Carruthers on Non League Day and all things North East, including the impact of Dunston UTS progressing in the FA Cup and meeting Gateshead in a local derby in the FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round. Joining Tim Fuell this week is Phil Annets @FACupFactfile as we reach the Third Qualifying Round of the greatest cup competition in the world. New manager at Canvey Island Mark Bentley tells why it was the perfect time for him to come back to non league management and why Canvey is such an exciting proposition for him. Matt Badcock helps review some fo the other issues in non league including the forthcoming England C match and Non League Day.
(www.neun30.de)
Two current Liverpudlian anniversaries dominate this week's Anfield Wrap. The first is that Sunday 8th October marked the end of the second year of Jurgen Klopp as Liverpool manager. It's arguable that right now Klopp finds himself under the most pressure he has been under at the club and that he has set his own standards at a time it will be toughest to reach them. The second is that next Sunday (15th October) sees the seven year anniversary of FSG's acquiring of Liverpool. Theirs is a constant trade off in the debit and credit column and this is worked through not for the first time by The Anfield Wrap, hosted by Neil Atkinson and with Paul Senior, Adam Melia and Gareth Roberts. Gareth also speaks to Tony Zeverona, chairman of Prescot Cables on Non-League Day about his role and the challenges facing clubs such as his. Learn more about your ad choices. Non League Day down the Dulwich #dhfc

Rounding off Burnley's new Premier League sensation, goalkeeper Nick Pope on how non league grounded him and rounded him into the player he is today.
Unnützes Wissen über unnötige Dinge also. (www.neun30.de)

(www.neun30.de)
In a massive week for non league, Caroline Barker and Dave Anderson speak with National League CEO Michael Tattersall about the play-off revolution announced this week. Plus Non League Paper Editor Alex Narey tells all about the National Game Awards Winners.
(www.neun30.de)
