Sepp Maier (* 28. Februar 1944) ist eine Fußballlegende und wohl einer der erfolgreichsten Torwarte der deutschen Fußballgeschichte. Zahlreiche Spiele bestritt er für den FC Bayern München und die deutsche Nationalmannschaft und gewann in den 1970er-Jahren fast alles, was es zu gewinnen gab. Der Höhepunkt war der WM-Titel 1974 im eigenen Land. Seine Mitspieler trugen glorreiche Namen wie Franz Beckenbauer, Paul Breitner, Berti Vogts und Gerd Müller.Gerd Müller starb 2021 im Alter von 75 Jahren, Franz Beckenbauer 2024 mit 78 Jahren. In einem Interview meinte Sepp Maier im Februar 2024 kurz vor seinem 80. Geburtstag: »Den Tod muss man nicht rufen. Nach Gerd und Franz bin ich der Nächste.«Das ist eine nüchterne Einschätzung, die der Realität ins Auge blickt! Adrian Walsh is a legend when it comes to football.  Born in Cork and now living in Galway, he made the Guinness Book of Records in 1978, '79 and '80 for what they now call ball juggling but in the old days was called 'keepie uppies'. Known as "Mr Ball Control", he travelled the world and met legends of the game such as  Pele, Franz Beckenbauer, Bobby Moore and George Best.  However, that has also led to him becoming a highly rated and respected coach and he continues to coach today.  He spoke to George and John about his career and travels.
