Rhys, Andy, Liam and Tim discuss what could be a statement win for Wrexham in the Championship - a 3-2 win over unbeaten Coventry City. And we all have an opinion on owner Rob McElhenney's tweet backing Parky which some have taken as ‘having a go' at fans who booed against Cardiff. But it's all about Coventry as a Kieffer Moore-inspired Dragons put them to the sword. We discuss just how good the wing-backs were as well as the ex-Cov contingent in Hyam and Sheaf. We also look at Wrexham Women's fine win against TNS and Tim makes a very bold prediction and there's a bit of news about the Rock.We then switch thoughts towards how we think we'll do not only against Portsmouth but also the next few weeks as a whole as we look to really build in the Championship. Wrexham's Carabao Cup exit to Cardiff has left a sour taste in the mouths of fans and we unpack exactly why. Join Liam, Andy and Tim as we discuss Wrexham securing a valuable point away at high-flying Middlesbrough in the Championship. The lads debate whether it should have been three points rather than one after Josh Windass handed Wrexham a first half lead at the Riverside and Kieffer Moore missed a gilt-edged chance to make it 2-0 in the second half. Was this performance a sign that Parky and his players truly belong in this league? Also, Andy and Tim give their verdicts on the fabled culinary delight that is the Parmo!PLUS, the Voice of Welsh Football AKA Rob Phillips joins us to look ahead to the long-awaited return of the North vs South Wales Derby as Wrexham take on Cardiff City at home on Tuesday night with a place in the quarter finals of the Carabao Cup up for grabs. Rob tells us what we can expect from the rejuvenated Bluebirds, who have had a strong start in League One under Brian Barry-Murphy, as well as giving his thoughts on Wrexham's season so far and whether Parky is the man to take us to the Premier League.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Enjoy this Fat Boar-sponsored episode? First off he dons his fan hat as we talk about the Wrexham Women's result before popping on his London Reds cap to talk about a big charity dinner for the Wrexham foundation held on Friday night. From that we get some Wrexham news from Michael Williamson and a few great anecdotes from Ben Foster and Ben Tozer. We pour over a fantastic afternoon in Norfolk (when we eventually got there) and look closely at the debutants Ben Sheaf, Dom Hyam and Issa Kabore. But there's one man who stood out head and shoulders above the rest - two-goal hero Josh Windass and why ask just how big a player he can be for us this seasonCan you sit where you want at Wrexham away games? This summer we'll be interviewing a handful of interesting people who are living with Parkinson's. First up: the novelist Linda Grant. Linda started life as a journalist before becoming acclaimed fiction writer who won the Women's Prize in 2000 for her novel When I Lived in Modern Times, and was shortlisted for the Booker Prize in 2008 for The Clothes on Their Backs. Here, she talks for the first time about her Parkinson's diagnosis, how it has impacted her writing, and how she plans to become (maybe) the first writer to bring to life a protagonist living with PD.Don't forget to sign the Parky Charter petition by going to ParkyPetition.com!Sponsored by Boardwave, who support Cure Parkinson's.Presented by Rory Cellan-Jones, Gillian Lacey-Solymar, Mark Mardell, Paul Mayhew-Archer, Sir Nicholas Mostyn and Jeremy Paxman.Produced and edited by Nick Hilton for Podot.Sound mixing by Ewan Cameron.Music by Alex Stobbs. Could discreet pumps, constantly providing adjustable doses of your top Parky drugs, be the future of 24-hour care? That's one of the suggestions made by advocates of a new range of pumps, one of whom, Professor Ray Chaudhuri (aka the Judge's neurologist), joins the Movers and Shakers in the Notting Hill pub. Assisted dying is currently on the agenda in the UK, as a private member's bill enters Parliament. But with legislation comes a moral debate: should the state be involved in easing the passing of the sick? And, if so, what should the conditions be? What guardrails can be put in place to ensure that what ought to be about mercy doesn't become the subject of abuse? To discuss this difficult topic and the impact that the contemporary political push could have on the Parky community, the Movers & Shakers are joined in the pub by Lord Falconer, whose bill in the House of Lords has set out many of the expected parameters of this new attempt to change the law. If music be the food of love (or, given we're in the pub, "the love of food"), play on. On this week's Movers and Shakers, the gang have gathered to discuss music, and the many ways it can impact the Parky community. From vocal warm-ups and singing helping to bring back Mark's booming voice, through to dance and gesture exercise keeping you fit and lyric translations keeping you brainy, music can have a huge impact. Pour yourself a drink and pull up a chair: the Movers and Shakers are back in the pub! Whilst pretending to be on their jollies, Gillian and Mark have been leading the charge with a brand new music video extravaganza, a Parky version of Gloria Gaynor's 'I Will Survive'. In addition to all this, we're joined at the boozer by Rowan Wathes, Associate Director of Policy & Health Strategy at Parkinson's UK, and Dr Kevin McFarthing from the Cure Parkinson's research committee.
