Ep. 870 – It's become an annual spring tradition: the pre-draft press conference. GMs, and often head coaches, meet with the media and answer questions ahead of the NFL Draft. A lot of words are spoken, but not a lot is said. To put it another way, no one is going to tip their hand or show their cards. Everything is kept very close to the vest. (Have we used enough idioms?!) Still, that doesn't stop people, including Craig Grialou and Dani Sureck, from trying to read between the lines. Will Monti Ossenfort stick-and-pick at 16? Trade down? Trade up? All options appear to be on the table. All positions, or most positions, seem to be on the table with that first-round selection regardless of what the team has done in free agency. In other words, stay tuned.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

The Buffalo Bills are in an interesting position at wide receiver as the 2025 NFL Draft looms just over a week from now. Brandon Beane signed Joshua Palmer during free agency, and the team is also expecting a step up in play from second year player Keon Coleman. The Bills have returning vets Khalil Shakir and Curtis Samuel rounding out the top of the receiver room. Outside of the current top four (Shakir, Coleman, Palmer, Samuel), may fans believe the team still needs to address the position with a speedy downfield threat. The Bills have been meeting almost exclusively with speedier boundary prospects in the lead up to the draft. Join Judge and Tilt as they analyze the tiers of wide receiver prospects for the upcoming draft. Share your thoughts, favorites, and reactions in the comments section. Go Bills!

Vandalism at draft board offices as U.S. involvement in Vietnam was escalating was deeply divisive. Opponents of the war were stereotyped as dirty hippies and sanctimonious white college kids, but the anti-Vietnam-war movement in the U.S. was really broad. The Bills will hope Bosa can play a relatively healthy season after injuries have caused him to miss a significant amount of playing time over the past three years. The Bills also said goodbye to Von Miller, leaving fans asking questions about the future of the EDGE position in Buffalo. Join Judge and Tilt as they set the draft board at the Edge Rusher position, and break down all of the prospects who could be fits for the Bills. The Buffalo Bills have made minimal moves through this offseason in addressing the defensive tackle position. Brandon Beane signed Larry Ogunjobi, however, Ogunjobi will be facing a 6 game suspension to start the season. DaQuan Jones, Ed Oliver, and second year player DeWayne Carter are currently expected to be meaningful contributors to the Bills interior defensive line in 2025. Fans, analysts, and media pundits are largely in agreement that the Bills must address defensive tackle early in the NFL Draft. Join Judge and Tilt as they assess the Bills current depth chart ahead of breaking down all of the various defensive tackles prospects in the upcoming draft. In the second hour of Stillman & Company, Jared delved into the conversation Chad Brinker has with Jim Wyatt. On what “terms” will the Titans move off of the number one overall pick? If Will Levis isn't going to be the QB this season who will be? Is Sheduer Sanders still in the equation if the Titans decide to trade back? Jared then dived right into Mike Borgonzi's draft process. Is Borgonzi open for business? To end the hour, Jared talked about the recent tweaks to the NFL rules involving the “tush push”. Listen to hear more.

The Buffalo Bills and Brandon Beane now have just over one month until the NFL Draft. Although the Bills signed a familiar face in Dane Jackson, the team still has an apparent glaring need at cornerback. Kaiir Elam has been traded and Rasul Douglas remains a free agent. Christian Benford is still without a contract extension and the future remains murky for the Bills at this position. Many fans are hoping the Bills select a cornerback with their first round pick (30th overall) in the 2025 NFL Draft.
