Additionally, learn special tricks and learn how to use your presence to demonstrate showmanship. Module 4: Master Your Unique Appearance In this module you learn makeup, hair and posing skills. You will also get a run down of how to maintain your appearance during long auditions and certain lengths of time. Master exactly how to do your own hair and make up for auditions based on factors like face shape, skin color and hair color. Know exactly what you'll wear to your audition and where to get it from. Learn how to pose for photoshoots, how to cover tattoos and get a spray tan that will last. Plus learn the type of nails and colors recommended. Module 5: Dance Resume, Branding and Interview Prep In this module you will get the proven steps for getting your resume prepped and ready for your application. We also dive deeper into your personal brand and how you'll be remembered for your interview. Create a dance resume using plug-and-play templates and learn specific resume buzz verbs and what the TAR method is for your resume. Learn how to combine your professional resume with your dance resume and determine if you should ask for an informational interview. Additionally, get sample interview questions and voice strategies on how to become more confident in your speech. Module 6: Showing Up On Audition Day In this module you're at audition day, ready and prepped. Everything you've been doing to prepare counts on this day. The lessons in this module teach you how to show up and knock it out of the park. Check off what you'll need for audition day and be enlightened on unwritten rules of pro cheer auditions that no one talks about. Lastly, get prepared for a potential virtual audition with a provided strategic plan you can follow. Season 6 launches in a two-part episode with Part 1 catching up on all the virtual NFL cheerleading auditions that have taken place over the last two months as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Mhkeeba walks you through the virtual auditions process for each NFL team, including the requirements for submissions of video introductions, dance performances, and interviews. She also shares the status update of the auditions process for each NFL team that has started to build the 2020-21 squad. Despite the NFL's release of the 2020 team schedules, there is a lot uncertainty around the NFL season especially as it pertains to NFL cheerleaders. The ladies interview Kristan Ann Ware, a former Miami Dolphins Cheerleader who sued the Miami Dolphins for religious discrimination based on the targeted harassment she experienced because of her personal pledge to save herself for marriage. Kristan shares her experience during her last year on the squad and how it impacted her physical, emotional and mental health. During Cheer Chat, Mhkeeba and Brittany reflect on their interview with Kristan and the other NFL cheerleaders who sued the NFL teams for unpaid wages and discriminatory employment practices and question why these women have been ostracized from the pro cheerleading community. They also discuss the documentary directed by Yu Gu, A Woman's Work: The NFL's Cheerleader Problem, that follows former NFL cheerleaders who file class-action lawsuits against their teams and has recently been featured in film festivals across the country.
