Socialne razmere se zaostrujejo in spreminjajo, slabša se tudi demografska slika, zato mariborski Rdeči križ v humanitarni dejavnosti išče nove rešitve. Javnost pa pozivajo tudi k pomoči pri razvoju svojega počitniško-izobraževalneg centra v Punatu.

V Hrastniku se začenja mednarodni festival uprizoritvenih umetnosti Rdeči revirji, ki bo potekal tudi v Zagorju, Trbovljah in Litiji. Kot so zapisali, predstavlja različne umetniške žanre in oblike, s katerimi bi radi oživili dogajanje na zasavskih ulicah. V Galeriji Jakopič v Ljubljani odpirajo razstavo nizozemskega fotografa Roba Hornstre, ki že dve desetletji ustvarja portret našega časa s fotografiranjem ljudi v njihovem vsakdanu, z naslovom Običajni ljudje. Slovensko narodno gledališče v Novi Gorici bo na velikem odru premierno odigralo komično dramo Češnjev vrt, besedilo Čehova, ki ga je hrvaška režiserka Tamara Damjanović v svoji priredbi še dodatno začinila in oživela.

Rdeči revirji tudi letos v zasavska mesta prinašajo živahno kulturno dogajanje in razne umetniške vsebine, kot so gledališke predstave, koncerti, performansi, razstave, delavnice in ulični nastopi, ki skupaj ustvarjajo posebno vzdušje. Mednarodni festival uprizoritvenih umetnosti, ki je znan po svoji neposrednosti, sproščenosti in povezovanju lokalne skupnosti, spodbuja druženje med umetniki, prebivalci in obiskovalci vseh generacij. Pomemben del festivala Rdeči revirji ostajata tudi humor in hudomušnost, ki se prepletata z resnejšimi umetniškimi sporočili ter družbenimi temami. Eden najbolj prepoznavnih kulturnih dogodkov v Zasavju se začne v Hrastniku in v Zagorju, sklepni del pa bo junija še v Trbovljah in prvič v Litiji.

When Single Cask Nation launched, the first three casks of whisky bottled were from Arran, BenRiach, and Kilchoman. We here at SCN HQ consider ourselves incredibly lucky to have been the only independent bottlers to have legally bottled a cask of Kilchoman independently. The boys discuss this and other things as a new introduction to this older episode, one of their favorite conversations to date. Joshua and Jason consider themselves incredibly lucky to have the opportunity to travel all over the world to interview some of the most interesting people within the whisky-making industry (and each guest is as interesting as the next). Milan Osterc se je že pred 30 leti invalidsko upokojil zaradi posledic hude prometne nesreče in nekaj let pozneje izgubil še ženo. V nekem trenutku se je vprašal, ali je še vredno živeti, in po pritrdilnem odgovoru ne le preživel, ampak kot prostovoljec k boljšemu življenju pomagal tudi mnogim drugim. Društvo ledvičnih bolnikov, Društvo za zdravje Nova pot, Rdeči križ, upokojenske in veteranske organizacije – to je le nekaj od 18-tih prostovoljskih angažmajev invalidsko upokojenega Milana Osterca iz Murske Sobote. Po prometni nesreči pa je najprej pomoč potreboval sam. V Murski Soboti ga je obiskala Cirila Štuber.

Odpravili smo se po poti oblikovanja modne kolekcije oblačil. Dijakinje in dijaki Srednje šole za oblikovanje in fotografijo Ljubljana so namreč minuli četrtek v Centru Rog v Ljubljani izvedli sklepno modno revijo, na kateri so predstavili svoje kolekcije oblačil. Rdeča nit ustvarjanja, ki je tudi del mature, je bil kolaž, zato je dogodek nosil naslov Modni kolaž oblikovne 2026. Ob 80-letnici Srednje šole za oblikovanje in fotografijo Ljubljana je dogodek postal poklon šoli, njenemu prostoru in ljudem, ki jo soustvarjajo. V oddaji Gymnasium ste lahko izvedeli, kakšen konec štiriletne izobraževalne poti je bilo oblikovanje te sklepne kolekcije oblačil, koliko neprespanih ur so vložili v izvedbo, kako skozi oblačila in delo s tekstilom mladi oblikovalci vidijo svojo šolo, njeno arhitekturo, osebni razvoj, ki sestavlja del kolaža in kako so jih pri delu vodili profesorice in profesorji. Z nami so bili dijakinje in dijak Srednje šole za oblikovanje in fotografijo Ljubljana Špela Vračun, Tinkara Lampe, Klara Meden in Luka Alachkoski.

Monografija Želje in protislovja. Likovno in arhitekturno razstavljanje v Sloveniji 1947–1979 predstavlja večletno raziskovalno delo in znanstvene izsledke desetih raziskovalk in raziskovalcev. Raziskave se osredotočajo na geografsko območje Slovenije, ki je bilo v obravnavanem časovnem okviru del Socialistične federativne republike Jugoslavije. Rdeča nit, ki je vodila raziskovalni projekt, zajet v tej monografiji, je dejavnost razstavljanja in oblike razstavnih postavitev, v katerih je bila predstavljena tako likovna umetnost kot arhitektura. Medij razstav se je izkazal kot zajetno področje raziskovanja in obenem nazorno presečišče razmerij med umetnostnimi, političnimi in družbenimi koncepti. Ob izidu monografije gostimo vodjo projekta dr. Beti Žerovc, sourednika monografije Vladimirja Vidmarja in dr. Niko Grabar ter Gregorja Dražila.
