"Verlag B&N" – Till Kaposty-Bliss und Patricia Holland Moritz sprechen mit Uwe Kullnick über ihren Verlag – Verlage on Stage (Hördauer ca. 90 min)2020 übernahm der über viele Jahre mit Nikel eng befreundete Grafiker und Verleger der Berliner Monatszeitschrift DAS MAGAZIN, Till Kaposty-Bliss, die Namens- und Verlagsrechte und kehrte im Andenken an seine Gründer zum klassischen VERLAG BÄRMEIER & NIKEL zurück. An seiner Seite nun Patricia Holland-Moritz, viele Jahre Programmleiterin des Ullstein-Imprints ALLEGRIA und erfolgreiche Romanautorin (»Kaßbergen«, verlegt bei Aufbau), die Programm und Lektorat betreut. Um auch im Handel sichtbar zu sein, besorgt ein erfahrener Fachmann, Bodo von Hodenberg, den Vertrieb über seinen Verlag FAVORITENPRESSE.Der Verlag Bärmeier & Nikel – ein Verlag, zwei Leben. Gegründet 1954 von Erich Bärmeier und Hans A. Nikel in Frankfurt am Main, galt B & N schnell als der Verlag für Satire und Humor in der jungen Bundesrepublik. Zeichner wie Loriot, Kurt Halbritter, Chlodwig Poth und Hans Traxler veröffentlichten hier ihre ersten und dann zahlreichen Karikaturenbücher, es folgten Werke von Robert Gernhardt, F.K. Waechter und Volker Ernsting. Hunderttausende der sogenannten Kleinen Schmunzelbücher und der größeren Variante verkauften sich über die Jahre und ermöglichten es den Verlegern schließlich, 1962 eine neuartige Satirezeitschrift auf den bundesrepublikanischen Markt zu bringen: PARDON. Die »deutsche satirische Monatsschrift« erwies sich aus dem Stand heraus als großer Erfolg. Bis dato unbekannte satirische Aktionen, freche und auch durchaus erotische Fotos und Karikaturen, gepaart mit ernsthaften Reportagen und erstaunlich breitgefächerten literarischen Formen, begeisterten eine junge und weltoffene Leserschaft. Bis 1969 stieg die Auflage von PARDON auf über 300.000 Exemplare und war somit die größte satirische Zeitschrift Europas. Das Programm des Buchverlages wurde Mitte der 1960er Jahre um Romane und einige Sachbücher erweitert, besonders satirische Werke fanden sich für einige Jahre in der PARDON-Bibliothek wieder.Moderation Uwe KullnickIdee und Realisation Uwe Kullnickmehr über den Verlag B&N

Novomeški policisti so predstavili podrobnosti včerajšnjih hišnih preiskav v romskem naselju Žabjak. Za kazniva dejanja povzročitve splošne nevarnosti, nasilništva ter nedovoljene proizvodnje in prometa orožja ali eksploziva so osumili štiri osebe. Februarja prihodnje leto bo minilo 25 let od sprejetja zaščitnega zakona za Slovence v Italiji, ki je izboljšal raven manjšinskega varstva. Najpomembnejši je bil sprejem zakona za pripadnike slovenske manjšine v Videmski pokrajini, torej za rojake v Benečiji, Reziji in Kanalski dolini, saj je Italija s tem prvič priznala, da na tem območju živi slovenska manjšina. Zakon je med drugim določil pravice do izobraževanja v slovenskem jeziku in pravico do rabe slovenščine na javnih upravah, pa pravico do vidne dvojezičnosti in izražanja narodne identitete in lastnih medijev, če omenimo le nekatere. Četrt stoletja po sprejetju zakona marsikod te pravice še vedno niso zagotovljene, nasprotno, ponekod se razmere poslabšujejo. Kot naprimer v Bardu v Terskih dolinah, čeprav je ta občina ena od 32, kjer velja zaščitni zakon, župan tega ne priznava in trdi, da slovensko narečje ne obstaja. Slovencem onemogoča delovanje in jih diskriminira. Lotil se je tudi župnika Renza Calligara, ki se je po ustrahovanju odločil za upokojitev. Toda, kot zagotavlja Igor Černo, občinski svetnik in kulturno zelo dejaven rojak, se županu ne bodo uklonili. Nasprotno. Sinoči je vlada v okviru reševanja romske tematike napovedala sveženj ukrepov s področja varnosti in sociale. Na področju varnosti so napovedana večja pooblastila za policijo, hitrejši in lažji zaseg premoženja neznanega izvora. Zaostrena bo kaznovalna politika, še zlasti za povratnike. Napovedano je bilo, da bodo ukrepi veljali za vso Slovenijo. Stroka, ki je zelo zadržana pri komentiranju, saj zakon še ni spisan, ob tem opozarja, da gre za hitre, morda nedomišljene rešitve in da samo z represijo težav ne bomo rešili. Potrebni bodo tudi mehki socialni ukrepi. Drugi poudarki: - Šolski minister Logaj: Šole na jugovzhodu države so pripravljene na zagotavljanje varnosti. - Za Palestince v Gazi najbolj smrtonosnih 24 ur od začetka premirja. - Družba Boscarol nakup Cimosovega kompleksa v Senožečah ocenjuje kot strateško naložbo.
