Having a wonderful conversation with Palle and his work in the Middle East
I met Sam some months ago at church and we quickly become good friends. Before I moved to Utah from North Carolina we recorded this interview about trusting God, embracing each day, and overcoming the natural man.Sam has ADHD like I do and it was definitely part of God's plan that we became friends. I'm super thankful for Sam and hope you're blessed by our conversation. This interview was from back in August 2024. We recorded it at a park inside of a forest that was part of the park. Special days indeed.More From Me:Subscribe to YIELD Deeply - https://dallincandland.substack.com/Check out my second book, "Patience in These Pages" - https://a.co/d/4kfFqW8Watch the Dallin Candland YouTube channel (for more on the podcast, behind the scenes videos, and more!): https://www.youtube.com/@dallincandlandTime Stamps:0:45 - The Gift of Friendship2:21 - The Synergy Effect3:27 - Be Willing to Trust the Illogical4:33 - Living a Life of No Regrets5:49 - The Lord Works it ALL Out for Our Good7:00 - The Power of Building in LoveQuotes:1:17 - "The more I've gotten to know you the more I care about you, the more I appreciate you, the more I admire you."3:49 - "God does wait but when it's time, IT'S TIME, and there is no more time to wait."4:41 - "I think God lets us have memory because we're able to steer our path a certain way and to direct our sails and direct the rivers so it more flows in that direction."5:23 - "People who don't follow their instincts tend to remain still."6:15 - "Fear cannot be trusted because when we keep it around it becomes our companion."Support the show

................................. FULL TRANSCRIPT ................................. Hi, I'm Pascale Gibon. Welcome to episode 266 of The Everyday Life Balance Show. Thank you for tuning in. Since it is my birthday today, the 28th of November, I'd like to talk about my favourite topic: Love. But first, please allow me to thank you for tuning in to the Everyday Life Balance Show every week. A member of my community, called Sue, emailed me the following: “I have been meaning to respond to you countless times and your lovely e-card has prompted me. Just wanted to say how much I have enjoyed reading all your emails and their heartfelt messages. I lost my mother this year which rocked my foundations, but your kind words and positivity have given me much-needed strength.” This is the reason why I do what I do as a healer and personal development coach. Many people, I believe, are yet to awaken to the full power of love and say Yes! To Love. If you feel lost in a sea of suffering, you need to lean on the power of love to live a happier and more fulfilling life. In our fast-paced modern world happiness seems to be underrated because other people choose fear over love. Do you know that I wrote the book "Yes! To love - The Ultimate Guide to Personal Transformation for Everyday Life Balance" because I read back in 2016 an alarming article on the devastating effect of stress at work on young workers just starting in the City of London. I was petrified when I read that because those young workers experienced burnout, they even contemplated suicide. I believe that when we trust love which is our true divine nature, when we lean on love more, whether our situation is dire or not, and when we expand our love and become more loving, we can create miracles in our lives and live our best life. Let me share with you now three keys to fuelling your love and living with heart so that you can create miracles in your life and live your best life from the inside out. Activating positive and lasting change in your life starts from the inside out. As a result, when you do the work, you can transform your well-being and quality of life. I co-created the concept of living with heart. This concept entails unleashing love, not fear, as your life's driving force. Are you ready? Here are the three keys to fuelling your love and living with heart so that you can create miracles in your life: Key #1: Trust To trust, you need to believe that you are a soul and that your true nature is love. Have you noticed all the goodness you create when you are kind and loving? Last Friday was Thanksgiving day in America. Isn't Thanksgiving an expression of gratitude for all the love we receive? We deserve this time to acknowledge our friends, loved ones, family members, and higher power. On the other hand, when you are angry, jealous or resentful, you distance yourself from love, your true nature. Key #2: Lean on Love more This idea means surrendering your entire being to your source of life in unity. You can reach this state through meditation. You lean on love more when you stop fearing and worrying most of the time. Of course, this takes practice. Although you may learn to use fear positively, you can observe your own life to make a difference. Is your thinking directed towards lack or abundance? You have a choice. Where do you want your energy to expand? Towards negativity or positivity? Scientific research shows that human beings lean twice more towards what they don't want than what they want. Therefore you need to be more aware of what you want to attract in your life. What is it that you want to attract: what you don't want or what you want? Norman Vincent Peal, the acclaimed author of “The Power of Positive Thinking” explained the way to happiness as follows: “The way to happiness: Keep your heart free from hate, your mind from worry. Live simply, expect little, give much. Scatter sunshine, forget self, think of others. Try this for a week and you will be surprised.” And here, Key #3: Expand Love This suggestion means that you become a love force. In other words, love becomes your life's driving force, and you expand your loving ability. Whenever fear and worry creep in, you know how to manage it through the only way you know a loving heart. However, living with heart is challenging if you have not fuelled your love first. A powerful way to fuel your love is through gratitude. I observe that the more humanity distances itself from Love, the more it experiences tough times. I invite you to see whether you distance yourself from Love in your relationships, expectations and intentions. Is your mind set on creating a better world from the inside out? The state of the world is the expression of our inner world. Therefore, humanity is at a crossroads. Human beings need to mind their thinking, values, ways and intentions to create a better world. Therefore, the creation of a better world is a collective endeavour. Take 100% responsibility to create your best life and a better world from the inside out. I hope you enjoyed this episode. As always, remember now is your time to transform your life one step at a time. Your new journey starts now: To fuel and expand your love you can listen to the following episodes of The Everyday Life Balance Show: Episode 83: “Dare To Love”. You can also listen to Episode 169 entitled: “How To Embrace Change In Time Of Crisis” Episode 259: “Be limitless” and Episode 264: “Awakening To Higher Possibilities For Your Life.” Got to go now! ................................. FULL TRANSCRIPT ................................. I often say that: "When you say yes! to love, you say yes to life." As we celebrate love this month, I intend to share a deeper kind of love in this episode. Happy St Valentine to all of my listeners. Hi, ‘I'm Pascale Gibon. Welcome to episode 234 of The Everyday Life Balance Show. Thank you for tuning in. In episode 83, I invited you to dare to love. The main idea behind Dare To Love was to develop a pure kind of love. Pure love is kindred to Divine Love. It is a love that gives unconditionally without expecting anything in return. Just imagine how you could purify your heart and increase your love tenfold to give generously and unconditionally. Have you asked yourself these questions: In what way do I give love? In what way do I express love? Is my heart filled with the energy of anger, resentment, complaint, blame, jalousie, frustration, sadness, confusion, revenge, guilt, etc. most of the time? Or is my heart pure and loving? If my heart is unloving most of the time, how can I become a better person day by day? Here is something that could help you answer the question, how do you best express love? In his book "The 5 Love Languages," the author Gary Chapman explains that individuals express love differently. Here are the five different ways we give and receive love as per the author Gary Chapman: Words of affirmation Acts of service Receiving gifts Quality time Physical touch. I suggest you take a moment to think about how you give and receive love to improve your romantic relationship. Additionally, it is essential to know how your partner gives and receives love. I express love through the act of service. My mum, for example, expresses love through quality time. She loves to have a round table of family and friends enjoying her delicious dishes. My mum is a great cook. Spending quality time with her loved ones is how she loves to make others happy. By the way, this book The 5 Love Languages is a great read and a great way to improve all your relationships. You have your way of expressing love. What is it? Whatever you do, choose love. I shared the following quote on my Facebook fan page: "Love is your salvation." And a friend asked me what do you mean by that? "Love is your salvation" has so many layers of understanding. The first layer is a better quality of life when love overpowers fear. Hence when you say yes! to love, you say yes! to life. On my life's journey, I had a realisation. I realised that I was sabotaging love in certain aspects of my life. My fear of rejection undermined love. However, you live an extraordinary life from the inside out when you accept love wholeheartedly and say yes! to it. Can you think of the ways you sabotage love? There are various dimensions to love. The highest quality of love, in my opinion, is my awareness and acknowledgement of the abundant and unconditional love of God or source of supply. When I trust divine love, I know that life is happening for me and not to me. You might have a similar realisation, the source of love is boundless, unlimited divine love seeking expression. You can hear, I am sure, that I am passionate about this topic. Sabotaging love in certain aspects of your life can be restrictive. I intend to help you lead your life through love. Dare to love, expand your love, choose to receive the abundant, unconditional love of the universe so that you can give more. How can you relate saying yes to love to your personal development? When you say yes to love, you: Grow in self-awareness, Improve your life, Improve your family life and Impact the world positively. As a result, saying yes to love accepting love as your life's driving force only has positive implications, that is: A deeper connection to love A higher purpose The true expression of your divine power, and A beautiful sense of belonging. Happy St Valentine's Day with your loved one! And if you are single, you can still gift yourself or someone in need something special. ………………………. FREE RESOURCES ………………………. Love this? Listen in as I talk to Dr. LaTanya Moore who was raised by a single mom in North Carolina. Since she was in the eighth grade, she knew she wanted to be a therapist as a social worker who helped to care for her brother planted a seed in her heart. She believes that the soul, mind, spirit and body go together and she works with others to help them to strengthen their relationship with God.Dr. Moore didn't know that she needed forgiveness until she was in graduate school. As a part of the requirements to become a therapist, she had to get a therapist. She had no idea that she had any issues with her dad who was not present much in her upbringing. However, through therapy, she discovered that she was harboring unforgiveness. It was only after she began to talk about it that she realized that she had been numbing her feelings. And just as a song by Aliyah talks about writing a four-page letter, she wrote a four-page letter to her dad who was behind bars. This became the catalyst for them repairing their relationship.Being that she did not grow up with a father, she felt like she couldn't trust her Heavenly Father. She always prided herself on being independent and one day she asked God to show her herself. He showed her how she manufactured things for herself instead of submitting to Him. She discovered that living faith by someone else's faith won't cut it. Now God has transformed her life to the point that her desire is to carry the presence of God and help others to do the same.Dr. LaTanya Mooredrlatanyamoore.comhttps://www.facebook.com/drlatanyamoore*Host of Spirituali-TEA Podcasthttps://anchor.fm/latanya-moore
Listen in on this real and raw conversation I had with Denise Ford, founder of Ford Christian Academy, Camp Summer Quest, and Academic Support Services. Married for 36 years, she and her husband raised their 10 children in St. Petersburg, Florida. This Mom homeschooled her children who grew up to be engineers, architects, NBA players, entrepreneurs among other careers. She believes that if you give children the skill set, they have what they need to be successful. In this conversation, Denise confronts 'western Christianity' and she calls out racism as being white supremacy. Denise grew up in an affluent home in which love was nurtured and education was paramount. Its from this vantage point that she raised her children although her present experience was from that of one income. Denise passionately discusses the George Floyd incident and calls out former friends who did not support BLM or empowering disadvantaged people. She encourages us to not give up until we take our last breath and ends the interview with a powerful prayer asking God to heal our land.

Her purpose in life is to help people get out of their funk and ignite a fire in their soul! She shares the fact that forgiveness has levels to it and how learning your triggers can help you manage relationships in a healthy way. How therapy helped her and how she gained wisdom in how to help and encourage the powerful corporate woman who looks good on the outside, but very broken on the inside. She also cautions how 'sweeping things under the rug' and 'keeping things on the back burner' will delay our healing, but also our happiness and fulfillment in life. And also how family can mean so many things to different people especially in instances of abuse. To connect with Lisa Sunshine head over to shareyoursunshine.com where you can her services and check out her unique and one of a kind sunshine eyewear.
The first interview of Season 4 is fire! Listen in as I speak to Jennifer Bell, a former elementary school principal who always told herself that when the joy of what she was doing was gone, she’ll do something else. One day, in her school’s parking lot she cried because she didn’t want to go into the building. She was tired of being exhausted physically, mentally, and emotionally and having no time freedom. Giving the BEST of herself to her job, and family getting the leftovers. SOMETHING HAD TO CHANGE…and it did! She chose FAITH over FEAR, resigned from her job and started focusing on creating options. Now she is a podcast host, speaker and servant of women.Jennifer authentically and transparently shares her story of breaking a 40-year silence and secret that literally has mushroomed her life and she is poised to finally become all that God wants her to be. She shares that although she grew up in a two-parent household and raised in the church - something happened in her childhood that silenced her and made her feel unseen. This story is for any woman, but particularly Christian women, who have been told all their lives that they just need to put it under the blood and pray about it, all the while masking pain and suffering from the shame of what happened. She also shares that even though she had the loving support of her husband, her life didn't change until she was watching the R Kelly documentary and it finally convinced her that she needed help. It helped her realize that even with her background of being a school administrator, all those titles did not heal her. She also discovered how holding her secret negatively affected her relationship with her children. She realized that she had to forgive not just with her lips, but from her heart. God, through therapy, did surgery on her from the inside and allowed her to heal so that she could get beauty for her ashes. Now she shows up how God sees her. Jennifer’s story will give you courage to heal so that you can tell your story and be all that God has for you too! You're invited to get a free copy of my mini book titled The Mindset of Freedom in which you can allow God to help you make your mindset shift. Go to freed2love.com/minibook to get your copy.
