The Chiefs are coming off a mini-bye and look to take care of the Colts in Indy. The Colts hopes that bringing in an aging veteran QB Matt Ryan would lead to more wins. So far that's a bust. The Colts have looked terrible and the Chiefs are rolling. K-State needs a QB. Plain and simple! KU is expecting a huge crowd with the hawks being 3-0 and they have a 3-0 Duke team coming in. Missouri needs to beat Auburn if they want to go to a bowl game. Riley Gates joins!

Spencer Kietzman is back for the weekend edition of KKHI. It wasn't that long ago we were asking the question if the Chiefs would even make the playoffs. Now, the one seed and first round bye is in play for KC. K-State has a stand-alone bowl game right before the College Football National Championship game, and MU's Tyler Badie earns unanimous All-SEC honors. Riley Gates of 24/7 Sports joins.
K-State and Mizzou lose their regular season closers, as they await their bowl game matchups, it's time to ask the question as to what K-State's future looks like at QB in the post Skylar Thompson era. Also, MU has some key players returning next year, do they scare anyone in the SEC east? The Titans play at New England, The Chargers play at Denver, the Browns play at the Ravens, plus Indianapolis has their biggest test thus far as they host Brady and the Bucs, all while the Chiefs are on a bye week. Seems like this Sunday we may get some clarity on who the pretenders and contenders are in the AFC. Riley Gates of 24/7 Sports joins.
The Chiefs have 8 remaining games, and five of them are against their division. Sunday night in Las Vegas is very crucial for the Chiefs playoff hopes. K-State has their season back on track, but can they snap their 5-game losing streak to West Virginia? KU plays Texas for the last time in the for seeable future, and they are 31 point underdogs. If Missouri wants a chance at playing in a Bowl Game, they must beat South Carolina at home. Riley Gates of 24/7 Sports joins Spencer Kietzman to talk football.
The Chiefs are a 7-point favorite at Washington, as they look to get back to .500, which is unfamiliar territory for this bunch. The defense has to get better, and fast! Jon Gruden is out as the Raiders coach, so what will he really be remembered for? K-State, MU and KU are all at home this weekend and are in desperate need of a win. Riley Gates of 24/7 Sports joins to talk football as we near the halfway point of the College Football and NFL Season.
Spencer is back for his weekly episode talking with Riley Gates of 24/7 Sports. The Chiefs hit the road in need of a win, as the division has gotten stronger this season. KC needs to clean up their sloppy play against a bad Eagles team, and it starts by taking control of the game from the start. The Royals are going into their final series of their season, and Salvador Perez has a chance to break the Royals single-season home run record.
Spencer Kietzman brings on 24/7 Sports' Riley Gates for their friday segment, talking lots of football. The Chiefs can re-establish their dominance in the AFC West. Will Howard has the biggest opportunity he's had as KSU's young QB leads the Wildcats into Stillwater. MU is at Boston College, who runs the ball well, which could be trouble for Missouri. Finally, KU is a 16 point underdog as they travel to Duke.
24/7 Sports' Riley Gates is back on talking all things football. Spencer Kietzman thinks the NFL has brought back it's fans from the far-right, who tuned out last season. The Chiefs face their first road test in Baltimore on Sunday night. Mahomes has not lost to the Ravens, and that shouldn't change. K-State is facing an uphill battle without Skylar Thompson at QB as the schedule toughens up. If KU is going to win a conference game, it's Saturday against Baylor in Lawrence. Missouri got gashed on the ground at Kentucky, but can the Tigers save their season? All that and more in this episode.
Our full interview with Kevin Harlan on the NFL season, the future of tv sports and more is up for Patrons Only. On this episode, we play a clip of Kevin's thoughts on the Chiefs and Browns Sunday. Also, Spencer Kietzman is back with his weekend previews and his friend Riley Gates from 24/7 Sports joins him to talk KU, K-State, Mizzou, the NFL and Big 12 Expansion.
It's never too early to talk about the next season! While we await word on who Kansas' next football coach will be, Phillip chats with Riley Gates of 247Sports about the Big 12's Week One 2021 football schedule. They break down week one expectations for Kansas State, West Virginia, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, and Texas and discuss their opponents. Plus, which three week one games are the most likely to end in losses. Then, Connor Hitchcock of Homefield Apparel returns to the show to talk what's new, including Big New Saturday Season 2, changes at Homefield, lessons learned, and which Big 12 collection is his favorite. Well, it was bound to happen... Junior takes over the podcast for the weekend. This is likely the best episode yet. Sports. Politics. Life. Kansas State fell to Texas Tech 69-62 on Wednesday night to tumble to 2-11 in Big 12 play, but the real news was not the outcome of the game. It was a shouting match between Coach Bruce Weber and junior guard Cartier Diarra that erupted during a timeout in the second half of the contest. The dispute was obviously heated, but in its wake, both player and coach are playing down the latest incident in an obviously fractured relationship. Kansas State’s 2020 recruiting class got a big boost on Tuesday morning when Chaminade (Mo.) shooting guard Luke Kasubke announced his commitment to the Wildcats. A 6-foot-6, 185-pound, three-star prospect, Kasubke picked the Wildcats over his other two finalists in Saint Louis and Loyola-Chicago. "I'm excited to join the K-State family," Kasubke said to 247Sports' Evan Daniels. "Coach (Chris) Lowery, coach (Bruce) Weber and the staff has been on me since the beginning of my recruitment and I always wanted to play at the high level and join the family." The commitment comes following a championship-winning summer circuit with MOKAN Elite. The program won the Peach Jam Championship and Kasubke averaged 12.8 points on 43.5 percent shooting, while also grabbing 3.3 rebounds and dishing out 2.6 assists per game on the EYBL circuit this summer. Kasubke becomes the second member of the 2020 recruiting class for Bruce Weber, along with Indianapolis point guard Nijel Pack, who committed to the program in June. GoPowercat.com basketball recruiting analyst Riley Gates and Publisher Tim Fitzgerald sat down immediately following Kasubke’s commitment to K-State to give quick thoughts on what the commitment means for the future of the Wildcat basketball program.
