Chris Long reacts to the 1 and 4 pm slates from the NFL's week 14 action. Joe Burrow and Josh Allen put on a show in New York as the Buffalo Bills essentially ended the Cincinnati Bengals playoff hopes. The Pittsburgh Steelers strengthened their playoff hopes as Aaron Rodgers out-dueled Lamar Jackson, the Indianapolis Colts are falling back to earth with Daniel Jones' achilles injury knocking him out for the rest of the season, and Shedeur Sanders had his best game as he battled fellow rookie Cam Ward. Jerry kicks off with Aaron Glenn's take on the latest Jets disaster, then dives into the stunning Texans victory that dropped the Chiefs below .500. Hear how two late Joe Burrow interceptions handed the Bills a comeback win, plus the Nantz & Romo call on the Ravens' controversial non-touchdown, and Trevor Lawrence's thoughts on Daniel Jones' Achilles injury.
The Jets were destroyed quickly in a 21-0 first-quarter rout, while the resting Giants lucked into the #1 draft pick after a Titans win. Does Daniel Jones' latest injury confirm Joe Schoen's long-held fears. The Bears plummeted from the #1 seed to #7, a meaningless late-game Raiders field goal, and a controversial rule robbed the Ravens of a crucial touchdown.
The Texans handed the Chiefs a loss, prompting Boomer to label it one of Patrick Mahomes' worst games ever, while Aaron Rodgers told critics of Mike Tomlin to "shut the hell up" after the Steelers beat the Ravens. Meanwhile, a completely meaningless late-game field goal by the Raiders caused a truly brutal bad beat for countless bettors.
Jerry's back with all the NFL drama, starting with Gio on Andrew Fillipponi calling Lamar Jackson "overrated" and Lamar's fiery reply. The Chiefs lost thanks to a disastrous 4th-down call by Andy Reid, while the Bills topped the Bengals because of two costly Joe Burrow interceptions. Plus, the hapless Jets officially extend their playoff drought to a miserable 15 years!
We talked about tonight's Eagles/Chargers game with Justin Herbert playing with a plate in his non-throwing hand.
This show is packed, covering the Jets' 15-year playoff shame and the Chiefs' stunning loss—a game Boomer called one of Mahomes' worst—while the Giants somehow grabbed the #1 draft pick. Get the full breakdown of Daniel Jones' latest injury, the controversial non-TD calls and the horrific Raiders field goal that sparked Dave Portnoy's fury and a 10,000-to-1 caller win. Plus, we debate whether Indiana QB Fernando Mendoza can handle New York, dive into NFL smut with the Braxton Berrios/Alix Earle breakup, mark the boring one-year anniversary of the Soto signing, and give you the viral "thick guy with a tiny choad" Moment of the Day that you have to hear!
Boomer is head over heels for Indiana QB Fernando Mendoza, and Gio thinks this energetic, outspoken signal-caller has the personality to make it in New York.

Welcome back to Beautifully Broken, where healing meets high performance. Today I'm joined by my friend and returning guest George Wiseman, who last appeared in Episode 141 sharing his extraordinary origin story. This time, we take a more advanced dive into hydrogen medicine—specifically the differences between molecular hydrogen (H₂) and Brown's Gas, a unique blend containing hydrogen, oxygen, water vapor, and an electron-rich plasma known as EEW (electronically expanded water).George breaks down how Brown's Gas delivers not only molecular hydrogen but also bioavailable electrons—fuel your body uses to stop oxidative cascades, rebuild tissue, and restore cellular communication. We talk about why H₂ alone doesn't always create a perceptible effect, why Brown's Gas often does, and how these modalities play distinct roles in the ecosystem of healing tools. He shares incredible user stories—from carpal tunnel relief in minutes to a young woman who beat metastasized cancer using Brown's Gas as part of an integrative healing plan.We also explore the new micro-bubbler attachment that infuses bathwater with micro- and nano-bubbles, dramatically increasing gas absorption and accelerating skin repair. Then George reveals the next frontier: a forthcoming AquaCure add-on that allows users to make their own deuterium-depleted water, a therapy shown to support mitochondrial function and metabolic repair. This conversation is equal parts science, innovation, and lived experience—another perspective-shifting journey with one of the most generous inventors in wellness tech. Episode Highlights [00:00] – Hydrogen research overview: inflammation, oxidative stress, and why H₂ is having a moment[02:22] – The AquaCure's unheard-of one-year money-back guarantee[03:38] – Welcoming George back + reflections on the “Beautifully Broken” ethos[05:26] – No device is a panacea: hydrogen as one tool in a larger healing ecosystem[07:53] – A remarkable cancer remission case and how Brown's Gas supported the process[09:16] – Why hydrogen helps nearly every condition studied (and why side effects are positive)[10:27] – What is Brown's Gas? The six constituent gases and how they're formed[11:56] – Discovery of electrically expanded water (EEW): a third gas with unique properties[14:22] – The role of electrons: inflammation reduction, oxidative damage repair, and immune support[16:47] – Brown's Gas during the pandemic: oxygenation, cytokine storms & rapid recovery[19:14] – Why you must stay below a 2% inhalation threshold for safety[21:40] – Hydrogen's role in regeneration: scars, immune restoration, and organ repair[24:08] – External applications: bags, gloves, spot treatments, and rapid nerve relief[26:10] – Hydrogen vs. methane: how microbiome differences shape individual outcomes[28:27] – Why Brown's Gas feels different than H₂—tingles, energy, and nerve activation[30:32] – EZ water (Pollack): how Brown's Gas increases structured water up to 300%[34:42] – Solving medical mysteries: capillary flow, blood pressure, and nutrient transport[39:12] – The problem with “flagged words” in health conversations (structured water, silver, etc.)[45:17] – Dreaming of an NFL-wide recovery experiment (Buffalo Bills, call us!)[47:13] – The new micro-bubbler: micro/nano bubbles, skin repair, and whole-body absorption[52:24] – Scar regeneration, tingling, and my own early bathtub experiment[53:18] – Comparing Brown's Gas to oxygen, CO₂, and other recovery tools[55:44] – Why hydrogen research has shifted to PEM systems—and their limitations[59:42] – Worldwide accessibility: yes, AquaCure ships to New Zealand (and everywhere else)[01:01:47] – Upcoming release: AquaCure's deuterium-depleted water system[01:04:08] – Why DDW matters for metabolism and mitochondrial repair[01:05:28] – Holiday discount: 25% off until December 15, 2025 + upcoming price increase[01:06:51] – Closing gratitude and reminder to support the showGet the AquaCureGeorge Wiseman's AquaCure: https://eagle-research.com/product/ac50-v2/— Code: BEAUTIFULLYBROKENLinks & ResourcesThe Biological Blueprint Program: https://www.beautifullybroken.world/Beam Minerals: http://beamminerals.com/beautifullybroken— Code: BEAUTIFULLYBROKENSilver Biotics: bit.ly/3JnxyDD— 30% off with Code: BEAUTIFULLYBROKENLightPathLED: https://lightpathled.pxf.io/c/3438432/2059835/25794— Code: beautifullybrokenCathcBio https://www.catchbio.com/beautifullybroken— Code: beautifullybrokenStemRegn: https://www.stemregen.co/products/release?_ef_transaction_id=&affid=52&oid=1— Code: beautifullybroken CONNECT WITH FREDDIEWork with Me: https://www.beautifullybroken.world/biological-blueprintWebsite and Store: (http://www.beautifullybroken.world) Instagram: (https://www.instagram.com/beautifullybroken.world/) YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@freddiekimmel Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Detroit Lions Make A Statement When They Had To The Detroit Lions did not just beat the Dallas Cowboys. They answered a question the rest of the NFL was starting to whisper: could this team still reach the gear it showed last year when everything mattered. A 44–30 win over Dallas at Ford Field in a must win spot is not perfection, but it is proof of concept. This is what the Lions offense is supposed to look like when it breathes, and what this defense looks like when it steals possessions instead of just surviving. Jared Goff, Jahmyr Gibbs and an Offensive Line That Finally Settled This felt like a reset game for Jared Goff. After weeks of interior chaos and happy feet, he played like a quarterback who trusted what was in front of him, finishing with a 121 passer rating and command of the entire field. He did not just lock onto Amon Ra St. Brown. He spread it around. St. Brown went 6 for 92 on one good ankle. Jameson Williams added 7 for 96 in what might be his most complete game as a pro. The star, though, continues to be Jahmyr Gibbs. He is no longer just a fun wrinkle in the playbook. He is the problem defenses cannot solve. Seventy seven receiving yards, a series of ankle erasers in space, and the constant threat that any touch might become a house call. This is the first Lions player since Barry Sanders who genuinely makes you lean forward every time he has the ball. Quietly, the big shift up front was Miles Frazier. Once the rookie stepped in at left guard for Tristan Colon, the protection and run fits stopped looking like a fire drill. Frazier buried people on duo and inside zone, climbed to the second level with bad intentions, and gave both Goff and David Montgomery room to operate. Monty responded with 60 hard rushing yards and looked far closer to the back we saw last season than the guy fighting for air against Philadelphia. If this is who the offensive line can be with Frazier settling in and the tackles relatively healthy, Detroit's playbook opens back up. Shot plays to Williams, option routes for St. Brown, and Gibbs isolated on linebackers is how the Lions offense stresses an entire defense. Defense, Special Teams and the NFC Playoff Picture The Lions defense did not dominate Dallas statistically, but it did what great units do in big games. It turned the ball over. Fourteen points came directly off Cowboys mistakes. Jack Campbell flew around again, DJ Reed battled with CeeDee Lamb until the concussion, and the front made Dak Prescott uncomfortable enough to force high risk throws. Special teams finally flipped a field too. Tom Kennedy looked like he had been waiting five years for those returns, hitting seams at full speed and giving the offense short grass it has been missing all season. That is how complementary football is supposed to look in a real playoff race. In the NFC playoff picture, the win keeps the Detroit Lions alive for more than just a wild card berth. It keeps pressure on Green Bay and Chicago, and it turns next week's trip to play the Los Angeles Rams into a leverage game instead of a funeral. Run the ball the way Carolina just did against the Rams, protect Goff the way they did against Dallas, and Detroit can turn this one statement into the start of a December run. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LvYN107viHw Get yourself a Classic Detroit t-shirt here! John Ashton and Top 100 teacher Jeff Smith reflect on their post-Thanksgiving weekend, discussing the return to golf after the holiday festivities. They reminisce about the beloved "Skins Game," a televised match play golf competition that featured nine holes on Thursday and Friday, where players competed for substantial prize money while being themselves on camera. The hosts pay tribute to Fuzzy Zoeller, the legendary golfer who recently passed away, sharing memorable stories about his infectious humor and charismatic personality. They recall watching Zoeller play tournament golf with genuine enjoyment and spontaneity, including a charming anecdote about fishing at a North Carolina golf course, highlighting how Zoeller brought joy and levity to the game. The speakers reminisce about Fuzzy Zoeller's charismatic personality and his memorable golf course at Covered Bridge, where he hosted the Wolf Challenge tournament. They share anecdotes about Fuzzy's generous nature, including a story where he bought drinks for strangers at his course. The conversation highlights celebrity appearances at the Wolf Challenge, such as Alice Cooper, and a memorable encounter where the speakers transported Greg Norman in a jitney from Indianapolis to the event, during which they witnessed Norman's remarkable tolerance for American beer while remaining completely composed. John and Jeff, hosts of a golf podcast, discuss how Fuzzy Zoeller's comments were taken out of context by media when they were actually jokes that Tiger Woods understood and appreciated. The hosts reflect on their twelve-year podcast journey, which started as a way to make golf tax-deductible after John left radio. They humorously discuss how they've managed to turn their passion for golf into a sustainable venture, joking about potentially becoming "vintage" themselves soon and playfully ribbing each other about their setup differences and physical challenges that come with age. The speakers discuss the rise of back injuries among young professional golfers, using Justin Thomas's recent surgery as an example. They explore whether modern teaching methods, increased athleticism, or more violent swing techniques contribute to these injuries. A golf instructor notes that contemporary players generate swings with greater speed and force than previous generations, combined with higher playing frequency. The conversation raises questions about whether golf instruction bears responsibility for developing safer techniques, and whether the modern athletic approach to golf—where players condition themselves like NFL athletes—might actually be causing more harm through excessive stress on the body. The speakers discuss how modern golf has evolved dramatically, with equipment improvements and athlete development pushing players to achieve unprecedented distances, now exceeding 300 yards as standard. Jeff Smith and John Ashton explore whether the intense physical demands of contemporary golf are causing preventable injuries, comparing the sport to other athletic pursuits. They debate whether golfers are damaging their bodies by performing movements at speeds and frequencies their bodies aren't designed for, contrasting today's explosive athletes with smoother, more fluid swingers like Ernie Els and Fred Couples. The conversation highlights how professional golfers increasingly sacrifice their physical health for competitive success, a trend mirroring injury patterns seen in other sports. The speakers discuss whether the graceful, fluid swings of longer hitters like Payne Stewart and Phil Mickelson are safer than the aggressive, fast swings of younger players like Justin Thomas and Will Zalatoris. They speculate that faster swings may increase injury risk, particularly back injuries, and wonder if younger players are making calculated sacrifices, accepting potential long-term damage in exchange for short-term success and financial gain. The conversation explores how modern physical training at tour stops aims to build both strength and injury protection, with Rory McIlroy exemplifying this philosophy—athletes knowingly push their bodies to dangerous limits to compete at the highest level, accepting injury as an inevitable cost of dominance. The speakers discuss a situation where someone made a straightforward decision to prioritize their own wellbeing and longevity in their career. Rather than viewing this as an excuse, they recognize it as a practical and sensible choice. The speakers appreciate this person's unwillingness to sacrifice their own interests, viewing it as a mature and reasonable approach to protecting their professional future.
