And then, of course, there was this little global pandemic and then all the work we did at Headbands of Hope. And then there was the election, which made me sprout probably 20 gray hairs, and so much more. I'm sure you can rattle off a list of craziness over the past two years as well.But if I'm being honest, one thing I've noticed recently is that my gear shift has been sticky. I've been stuck in this high gear for about two years and I feel like I've forgotten how to downshift. We cannot forget how to downshift because why work so hard to create a life for ourselves that we can't even enjoy? I've put a lot of time into my business getting it to a place where I can take time off if I want to. So, it's time to freaking downshift. We're exploring the Northeast in the Airstream this summer and I fully intend to stuff my face with a lot of lobster rolls and find beautiful greenways to bike along. Even if you can't take two months off, what can you do to downshift this summer? Can you move a little slower on the weekends? Can you read instead of watch TV? Can you use a French press instead of a Keurig?
