Are you connecting with your ideal client? Connection is essential for business owners to get right, but it often gets misunderstood or overlooked. You can check all the boxes to get your coaching business up and running, but if you hear crickets, you need to look at what stories you're sharing and find out whether or not they are connecting with your audience.   In today's episode, I'm talking to Michelle Ellis, a conversion copywriter helping coaches position themselves in their industry through words that tell their story, connect with their ideal client, and, ultimately, land the sale.   During our conversation, Michelle and I talk about the best ways to connect with your ideal client through stories so you can start helping them achieve results. Michelle explains what type of stories connect on a deep level, how to connect when your client's pain points aren't a part of your personal story, what a hero's journey is, and how to share your story in a way that focuses less on you and more on your ideal client. If you don’t know where to start or you have been giving a ton of mommy to paid ads and it isn’t working then this episode is for you.  This episode will be super beneficial to learn about list building in a different way.   In Today’s Episode: [01:44] First, make sure your list builder is specific in the problems that your ideal client is struggling with right now.     [02:46] What is my ideal client struggling with right now at this moment? [03:04] Make sure you are building on platforms that connect directly with search engine optimization (SEO).  [04:24] The simplest way to do this is to make sure you have YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and Instagram.  You can also have Twitter and you need a Facebook business page all with the same name.   [04:45] On a search Facebook is really high with Google.   [05:06] Create micro-videos and stories for your content.   [07:01] We need to know what our ideal client is intentionally searching for.  [08:33] After sharing your content in bite-sized pieces then you give a call to action. [09:24] Utilize your content in many different ways. Ex: video on YouTube, blog post, newsletter, social media posts, etc.  [10:11] Do your market research first. Test the market with videos and high engaging questions. Look at the answers and create a blog post or video for that content.  [11:35] You can use your Facebook personal page to start testing the market.     [12:11] Reach out to ten people, podcasts, places you would love to collaborate with.   [13:45] Those conversations are the core fundamentals that could help boost your list and visibility.  [15:17] Start putting yourself out there and letting people get to know you and the value you bring.  [17:41] Look at the digital marketing strategy.  It goes beyond one platform.  [18:18] Make sure that you have YouTube and Pinterest.  Examine your own behaviors where you go to search.     [19:53] Make it easy to work with you. [21:53] As you’re looking at the next few months analyzing all the different parts.  [23:01] If your message is super clear then you will see higher conversions on paid ads.   Resources: Go to https://rachelafeldman.com/events for the new challenge. Ditching Imposter Syndrome and Shame as a Health Coach

Today I am talking about an issue that has come up a lot - Imposter Syndrome.  I am going to take you through some of the ways that I have overcome my fear.  I have a lot of anxiety that can often paralyze me and this was anxiety that I had to learn how to reshape and reframe so that I could build my wellness business.  I had to get out of my own way and my own fears.  I am going to share some really significant tips for dealing with imposter syndrome.   In Today’s Episode: [01:57] Embrace imposter syndrome.   [02:18] Imposter syndrome is just fear.  It is all the same concerns we have as a new coach.   [03:06] Step number one is to talk to the imposter syndrome.  Tell yourself the imposter syndrome has nothing to do with my capabilities.  [03:58] We often step into imposter syndrome when we think we have to be perfect.  [04:06] It is important to do some self-analysis. Why are you actually feeling this fear? Why are you not being vulnerable?  Why do you have shame around telling people what is actually going on? [04:46] The second part of imposter syndrome for a lot of us is shame.   [05:31] We have to look back on our journey, but not with shame or blame. [06:26] Most of us as coaches walk around with shame in telling our own stories and we don’t even realize that it is affecting our marketing.   [07:20] It is in that ownership of our story when the imposter syndrome starts to fade away.  [07:29] The last part is the vulnerability.    [08:52] Vulnerability is one of the biggest ways we build trust.   [10:34] The action step is to be honest with yourself about where you have fears.  How are they affecting your mindset? How are they affecting your ability to show up for your client in a way that suits you? [12:12] Our shame and sadness in our journey can affect how we show up and how we present ourselves in life.  [13:13] The same work we have to do on our health is the same work we have to do in our business.   [14:02] The very work for you to overcome your business fears at any stage is the same feelings your clients have about their health.   [14:37] Make sure you are always working on the mindset part because that is more powerful than any blueprint.   [15:43] We should work on our mindset every day because it is going to dictate how we show up in our day. As a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, she creates custom healing plans for her clients to transform their health naturally.  She is here to talk all about epigenetics and the root cause of disease.  We will also be talking about detox.   In Today’s Episode: [01:19] Ashley is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine and an amazing coach.   [01:55] Everything is connected and we have to work layer by layer. You can’t separate things out.  We need to put all the pieces together, have a long systematized detox, and hit all the layers. [04:03] She got into the epigenetics area because she was so obsessed with food, detoxes, and cleanses since high school.  [04:39] Food is medicine. What we are doing every single day can harm us or help us.  Food is something we control.   [05:57] A huge component of epigenetics is how we detox.   [07:41] Ashley kept diving into what food can do, the inflammatory process, and the elimination diet.   [08:55] If we don’t ever get to the root cause, we are just removing triggers.  [09:43] There are a lot of things that we normalize, that are not normal.    [10:32] If you are not getting good quality sleep it is pretty hard to fix anything.  [11:59] It is crucial to prime your body before you start attacking.   [14:28] Some people are great detoxes and not great rebuilders and others are great rebuilders but not great detoxes. We all detoxify differently.  [16:04] Ashley shares her favorite primers, but she also makes sure the sleep and hydration are optimized.   [17:42] She is a huge fan of targeted detoxes every season. [19:41] As coaches we all get to a point where we say we are going to keep digging so that we can save the pain for somebody else.  [21:27] If you are still struggling, it isn’t your fault, but there may need to be another door to open. [22:23] Ashley recommends prevention. She would much rather clean up and try to prevent something in the future that she doesn’t know could turn into something worse.  [23:27] We live in a different world where there is not a one-size approach anymore.   [24:32] There are more toxins, more stress, and more health issues.  Some bodies handle it better and some can’t.  [26:32] With epigenetics you are giving this blueprint of possibilities and we have the control over what we do. We get to pick what outcomes we have.  [27:10] Your mindset and thoughts can affect your immune system.  [30:38] Share guides with your clients that can lead to easy switches.  There are many easy things that are just habits that people need to break and can have a big effect. Jes is going to share with you the ways she has structured her business from the start and then we talk about how we both define showing up.  In Today’s Episode: [01:10] Once you get comfortable, let go of the overwhelm, and you have a plan and action steps you can make real progress.  We need to keep it simple and real.  [02:04] Showing up is where we connect.    [03:56] Use the ways of showing up to lead people to your website with your blog and call to action.  [05:03] We have to show up online and offline.  Sharing what you are doing online, offline as well.   [07:23] The offline work and showing up for your audience need to be done first so you can build things online.  [08:26] When you feel overwhelmed pull out your biz journal and make a box at the top of a piece of paper. Think and brainstorm about why you want to teach and what you want to be known for. [09:45] Jes is constantly getting out there sharing about many different topics in many various ways. She is talking about the four areas from her testing phase that she knows her people want to hear about  [10:41] The showing up is actually teaching, connecting, and answering questions.  Bring them in, don’t just treat people like a funnel.   [11:48] If you are not showing up and having the conversation, you are not preparing for the Super Bowl.  You have just sat on the sideline.   [12:49] The listing is ongoing when you get clear. We don’t exactly know in the beginning.  We show up and figure it out as we go.  [14:11] You need to make sure the things you are sharing are things you are applying in your own life. She shares about her cleaners, hair stuff, why she chooses organic and more.   [15:17] Do what comes naturally to you and do not look at what other people are doing on social media.  [17:23] You can offer paid courses, groups, events, and coaching because you have already consistently showed up free. [18:06] Don’t make the mistake thinking that people are bots or funnels. Successful businesses are built on trust and relationship building.  [19:45] When you become known in your niche, people will remember you and refer you to someone they know that does. That referral network is huge! [20:44] Your personal Facebook page can be used to build your brand, show behind the scenes, and share their life, but not to sell.   [22:09] You can definitely ask clients and listeners to share you with friends that would be a good fit. [22:35] We often overlook the personal connection.  Connect with Jes: Jes’ Website Jes on Facebook Jes on Instagram Jes on Pinterest Green Mama Tribe Resources: Go to https://rachelafeldman.com/events for the new challenge. On today’s episode, I am so excited to have Lauren Courtney here. Lauren started as a holistic health coach. She is a Holy Fire Reiki Master, sound healer, and INTUITIVE medium. Recently she has taken a deep dive into true body intelligence to explore deeper into the body’s systems.  We are going to talk about how to get the hell out of your way.  Lauren is going to break down what she does.  She shares about her spiritual awakening, how she got out of her own way to make drastic changes, and steps you need to take to have a spiritually based business.  In Today’s Episode: [01:50] Lauren was a holistic health coach when she met Rachel.  She is also a healthy and intuitive chef. Four years ago Lauren became a Holy Fire Reiki master and that opened her up to her mediumship and true body intelligence. She is also certified in Integrative Energy Therapy. [02:42] She helps people find their light and their soul’s purpose and why you chose to come into this lifetime.   [05:07] She is an evolver and she takes leaps all the time and often she doesn’t even realize she is leaping.  [05:36] Lauren shares about her spiritual awakening and how her life has changed.  [06:59] She dived deep into energy work and then she started working with coaches.  She wanted to share what she learned with others.   [08:27] During her awakening her mom told her they named her Lauren Courtney because they thought she would drop her last name and that would become her stage name.   [09:42] Often we try to skip right from chapter one to chapter twelve without realizing how much constant work gets you from one chapter to another.   [10:45] We have to be willing to take the leap.   [11:34] We get so stuck because it is easy to stay the same.  It is hard to change your life. [12:24] We can only change in connection with somebody.  [13:02] We all have it in us to make drastic changes, but it is a matter of being stronger than the fear.  The fear of success is just as strong as the fear of failure. If you fail at least you tried.   [16:57] Lauren knew things were right when she didn’t feel stuck and she didn’t feel like she was forcing or selling.   [18:15] Instead of getting stuck in her thoughts she visualizes the clients and the success happening.  [19:36] Lauren found out that can I afford this actually meant am I worthy of this.   [22:51] It is important to do the work and also put it on paper.  [23:32] If you don’t do the work on yourself and show up fully you can’t move forward and make an impact. You have to keep going!  [26:51] Just continue to go for it and take a chance.  [27:46] There isn’t a choice because our purpose here is so big.   [29:17] Lauren helps bring people back to their authentic selves, not the culturally created self that is on the outside.    [29:45] It is super important to listen to that gut intuition.  [30:42] Be around people that are not uncomfortable looking at their dark demons.   [32:50] It is so important for us not to doubt yourself and step past the fear and do the positive talk to ourselves. We need to not be scared to look at the stuff that is uncomfortable.  [34:10] Coaches need coaches.  If you’re a coach you need a team that can help you grow.   [39:10] Get your message and specific voice out there and believe in yourself.   Connect with Lauren: Lauren’s Website Lauren on Facebook Lauren on Instagram Lauren on YouTube Resources: Go to https://rachelafeldman.com/events for the new challenge. The First Steps to Structure Your Health Coach Business

This week I am going solo because I am getting so many questions from coaches, fitness trainers, functional medicine practitioners, and chiropractors who are all going into the e-learning space.  They also want to know how to get this done with kids at home or working another job so this job can accelerate.  Brick and mortar businesses are looking to move to more of an online platform.   I am going to start out with some basic fundamentals to lessen the overwhelm so that we can all take a deep breath and truly show up in authentic and strategic ways so we attract our ideal client.   In Today’s Episode: [02:39] It is important to start with the basics first and master the basic essentials first.  [03:06] Head over to the free tools on Rachel’s website and join the free course.      [04:34] First you need to determine your target audience.  It is important to have clarity on who you are creating this content for.  [05:27] Write down the exact pain points of your ideal client and the solution they are searching for.  [07:15] Stay within your niche.  You don’t serve everyone.  That doesn’t work.   [08:13] It starts with getting super clear about your ideal client avatar and this includes their personality and habits.    [09:11] Then in the third column you are going to write down the obstacles and objections. [11:14] Next think of your ideal client in your head.   [11:54] What do you think is going on with your ideal client and what solutions do you offer that could help them? [13:04] Get clear on what you want to offer. Nothing is a one size fits all program.   [14:46] We convert easily when we are super clear on who we serve and how we serve them.  [16:11] What problems are you thinking about specifically and what solution are you offering?  [17:18] When we package up an offer we think who does the offer serve, what problems does it solve, and how can it be an entry for my ideal client to get to know me, love and trust me, and be willing to hire me.   [18:01] Rachel had three signature freebies that she used to lead people to her one on one offers.  What is the thank you page experience? [20:14] We need different opportunities for a client to work with you.  Map out the thank you pages and follow up emails.  [21:44] Make sure you are super clear so your marketing efforts are clear and you're working smarter and not harder.   [23:25] While you are editing your program reach out to friends and family and see if they will test your program and give feedback on obstacles they find.  [25:38] Your ideal client wants to hire you because you probably have a similar story.  [28:58] When we get super clear on the path we wish we would have taken, we can teach the structure we wish was around when we were sick.   [30:10] Learn how to market and sell from the soul.  Be your funnel. [32:25] You are the voice. Resources: Go to https://rachelafeldman.com/events for the new challenge. Go to https://rachelafeldman.com and read through my mini-courses. Answering Your Legal Questions, Legal Breakdown for Health Coaches with Jonathan Posey

On today’s episode, I am so excited to have Jonathan Posey here. He does imperative and essential work. He is an advocate for those of us in the health and wellness industry.  Jonathan is the founder and executive director for the Council of Holistic Health Educators. The Council of Holistic Health Educators is the only nonprofit advocacy association dedicated to protecting, defending, and fighting to advance the rights of holistic practitioners, schools, and stakeholders.  We talk about what we are allowed to say and do as health coaches.  Jonathan helps clarify the current laws to help you get unstuck.  In Today’s Episode: [01:31] Jonathan is the founder and executive director for the Council of Holistic Health Educators. [03:20] Institute for Integrative Nutrition has been a strong supporter.   [04:02] The color system represents the different types of laws of each state.  [06:41] The first thing is that the holistic health community is made up of passionate people with only one goal in mind to help people to live, eat, and feel better.   [07:11] We have significant multi-million dollar opposition in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.    [09:15] We are not up against healthcare or a public policy issue.  [10:48] In March the law was changed in Florida.   [12:11] There is a desperate need for peer mentors, the person that is going to sit there and teach you how to read a nutrition label and how to understand recipes and someone that will just be there.    [13:49] It is not just the traditional one size fits all.   [14:44] The ideal world would have a practice with a medical doctor that oversees a registered dietician, health coach, nutritional therapy practitioner, and a neurologist. They would all work as a team.   [17:07] The Holistic Entrepreneurs Association recently became part of the council. The goal is to bring practitioners together to help them work on the business side of things. [20:47] Rachel speaks from an “I” perspective and shares her experience.   [22:09] Generally speaking what you are able to do in every state is to provide education and guidance for food, nutrition, diet, wellness, and lifestyle. [22:38] If it is publicly available and it can be found in a book, journal, blog, YouTube video, coursebook, education material, or government study it is deemed to be considered public information.  It gets tricky because you can’t do the one on one in 16 states.   [24:57] If your client brings back their lab tests results practitioners have to be super careful to speak generally about the information.  [26:08] Having their doctor involved is paramount.   [28:04] Just because someone has seen a doctor, it doesn’t immediately exclude you.     [29:05] You can contact their doctor with permission and ask them for a prescription to work with you or ask to work together.   [32:06] As humans we choose the path of least resistance.   [33:47] Health coaches can educate in a course format.  They are also able to share their story with a group as long as it is applicable to everyone.  [35:28] If accused of reporting dietetics without a license get their name and information and ask them to send it to you in writing.  Then you can reach out to your school and the Institute of Justice for help.  [38:01] Depersonalize from this business because if you don’t then your own frustrations at the machine will actually blanket different opportunities that can come to you in your business.   [41:01] If your school is a member of the council, the council provides students with one on one individualized support over policies, regulations, and terms to practice.   [41:26] The number one way health coaches and practitioners go wrong is by using disease terms.   [43:13] The next thing that trips up practitioners is what they are putting on their websites.   [47:58] You really need to be mindful of someone coming into your practice by phone or in-person and throwing around disease terms. We can work with someone on obesity and weight loss even if they have seen a doctor for it.    [49:48] It is always about what we are saying. It is rarely about what we are doing. [52:01] Rachel has a formal let’s get on the same page agreement that she shares with clients.  She found a way to say it to fit her personality and not make it feel like she was entering a marriage or divorce.   [53:39] Periodically send the doctor reports letting them know what you are working on with their patient. [55:02] Our job as coaches is to help somebody expand the mind and help someone see there are more factors and that it does take people working together for us to feel epic 24/7. [57:43] The first layer of protection is your intake forms and notifications.   [61:02] Jonathan visualizes that the health coach is putting an arm around the shoulder of their client and telling them they are going to help them and be there for them. Empowering Women to Have Healthy Sexuality with Jennelle Gordon

On today’s episode, I am so excited to have Jennelle Gordon here. Jennelle and I have been going back and forth on Facebook for all this time and then she finally got on my calendar for my podcast.  Jennelle is an inspiration for women as a leader, speaker, and educator. She studied tantra and yoga extensively with masters in Thailand after leaving her traumatic past behind for a brighter future. We talk about healthy sexuality, the impacts of shame and fear, and even the importance of talking to our children at a young age.  In Today’s Episode: [02:36] It is such a great time for women to have a voice and for people really to get off their ass and do something.   [05:31] We don’t teach our young girls about healthy sex, sexual boundaries, and owning their body and power.   [07:25] Jennelle was a product of the foster system and experience physical and sexual abuse growing up.   [09:01] She has a book and Ted talks about being trafficked for over a decade. [10:51] As women we have to save ourselves.  We can’t wait for someone else to do it.    [12:11] She made it her mission to find a way to take her ten years’ experience of hell and merge it with what she had learned and come up with a modality that was healing for women. [13:46] What do I know I am supposed to teach? [15:55] When Rachel built her business she had no idea how she was going to do it, but she knew she was going to figure it out.   [17:41] There is so much repression around sexuality.   [18:48] Rachel and Jennelle both knew they couldn’t have a side hustle. They needed to make it work as their full-time work.   [20:11] People don’t want to talk about sex.  [21:51] The fear that we all live in is because we are so scared that somebody may just find that stuff isn’t completely together.     [24:28] Life feels hard so for whatever reason we think someone else’s life is easier.  We all make judgments.  Maybe we will come out of this not judging as much.   [26:51] Right now there are a lot of issues and they are all valid.    [28:42] We don’t want to acknowledge that human trafficking is happening in our own neighborhood. [33:22] People are addicted to social media likes because they think it is attached to their worth and value as a human.   [33:29] The number one fear that humans have is that we won’t be enough and that leads us to the number two fear we have, that we won’t be loved.    [39:14] Trafficking is in local communities all around.   [41:16] It is so ingrained in our lives that sex is bad and wrong.   [42:15] The beauty of each one of us in our own journey is to know that there is somebody that is similar to us and they are our ideal client. [44:14] We have this massive shame around sex and this fear of being judged so we clam up.  [47:12] It has become a mental health issue of people comparing themselves to other people and wanting to be them so bad instead of loving the body they are in. [48:28] Nothing is easy in this life.  Everything takes a regimen. [51:37] Life is about patterns.  We need to interrupt the patterns about how we are training our young men and women. [53:47] We need to talk to our children in an age-appropriate way with proper terminology about sex.   [57:53] The solution is to have conversations with your children and start super young.   [60:41] We need to stop judging and be more accepting of each other.   [61:28] We have to look out for other women and the more we come together the more powerful we will be and we can learn from each other.  Connect with Jennelle: Jennelle’s Website O Factors Website Beyond Freedom International Jennelle on Facebook Jennelle on Twitter Jennelle on LinkedIn Jennelle on YouTube Jennelle on Instagram Resources: Go to https://rachelafeldman.com/events for the new challenge. The Mindset of What it Takes to Coach and The Mindset of Our Clients

Play Episode Listen Later Aug 20, 2020 43:59

I wanted to talk about mindset. I am going to talk about two different subjects today. One is the mindset of what it takes to coach and also the mindset of our clients. I have been talking with many coaches and they are struggling with what to talk about and also struggling to be okay to show up even in times where they feel speechless.   I was inspired to share this because I was just talking to a coach and she was sharing many of the things that I felt when I built this business ten years ago. I left a multiple six-figure job and I truly believed that I would go into coaching and everyone would hire me. When I look back on creating Rachel’s Wellness during the first few years of struggle, I think back to what I always had to do. I have felt scared, lost, and every different emotion. What you believe will happen.  That is the Law of Attraction. The Law of Attraction only works when we show up and do the tangible.   In Today’s Episode: [01:15] When I look back on creating Rachel’s Wellness in the first few years of struggle, I think back to what did I always have to do.   [04:10] Many of us became a coach because we thought the information that we found and worked for us should be readily available to others.     [05:55] When you are struggling, you have to tap into your why.  Why did you want to get into wellness coaching? [06:20] You have to start by believing in yourself and creating a vision board.   [06:57] Each one of us has a choice.  It is how we frame our thoughts.   [09:45] We decide to make a choice.  We make a choice to pay it forward to our neighbor or to be of service.   [10:24] Reach out to the people who you know are in similar situations. They are looking for support too.   [12:07] Your why should make you cry.    [13:52] All of the things I researched, I knew that people deserved that education. With education comes power and with power comes choice.   [16:48] Rachel wanted to offer opportunities for anyone to have the power and knowledge.   [18:03] She learned to communicate with people in their voice and not the health coach voice.  [18:51] We’ve stopped talking with actual people and replaced it with funnels and bots.  Conversion happens in awareness, not list building.   [20:11] Please get over this magic bullet solution.   [21:21] This is a world where we truly have to empower people to know what works for their individual body.    [22:39] As a coach we listen and help that person come back to their intuition.   [24:37] Getting clear is really about getting confident that you know what to stay.  We just get stuck in marketing.  [25:34] Our job is to teach this next generation this has got to end. Find what you want to change in this world.   [27:04] It will take all of us. We need the courage and confidence to stop sitting in the should and would.   [29:17] Rachel recommends keeping it simple.   [30:35] There is not a blueprint.  It is an intuitive road that you will develop.   [32:11] She co-created and co-collaborated with some of the finest people out there.   [33:53] You may still need to find your love language to talk to your ideal client.   [35:09] You need to find a way to make it work.  It may not look exactly like you thought, but nothing is ever what we think it is going to be. We can reinvent and redesign, but it is not easy or everyone would do it.  [37:48] Whatever you teach, teach it with conviction.  Show people that you are human and relatable.  Find those people who believe in you.   [38:57] Take the time to get really clear on your why and purpose.   [39:34] People want us to be ourselves and at the end of the day, that is all they need. We all have a story.  [40:23] Follow coaches you believe in and how they show up. Resources: Go to https://rachelafeldman.com/events for the new challenge. Massive Empowerment Using Your Intuition with Muneeza Ahmed

On today’s episode, I am so excited to have my good friend and intuitive Muneeza Ahmed here. We are going to dive into how Muneeza built her business and some of the strategies she uses to tap into what her potential clients want. Most importantly we are going to talk about this vicious cycle of mystery illness and autoimmune that not only plagues us as coaches but also many of the people we love as well.   In Today’s Episode: [02:52] Muneeza is a medical intuitive. She is known as the “The Intuitive Medicine Women.” [04:12] People with chronic illnesses don’t really have a voice. She works to give them a voice and help them figure out the root causes and a plan to get better.   [06:53] One of the biggest problems in health and wellness is that we don’t know the signs. Many of us are walking around with these warning signs.   [08:00] Fatigue is the first sign of a viral illness.   [09:44] When you know the progression and how something affects something you can take your power back.   [10:39] Bloating is another sign that gets missed all the time.   [12:57] Brain fog and anxiety are two other common signs to watch for.   [13:43] Brain fog is a sign of neurological viral illness in your body.   [14:58] 80% of your immune system drops when you have a period. So when you are on your period symptoms show up and these are underlying symptoms.  [15:54] Women are sicker than men because we have more sensitive nervous systems. [17:35] The modern woman needs to put on armor before she walks out of the house. Our armor is our food, supplements, and understanding of your body.   [19:09] Muneeza shares the autoimmune cycle.  [20:51] When we start doing something different, we can influence people all around us.   [21:43] We really have to empower our clients by knowing these warning signs.   [24:23] Autoimmune technically means your body is attacking itself.   [25:25] We have 56 blends of adrenaline. 20 blends that we use for special occasions and 36 blends that are for everyday use.   [26:44] We live in this chronic state of stress. Chronically produces low-grade adrenaline in our bodies all the time and this feeds pathogens like shingles and strep. [29:47] Rachel shares her story working with Muneeza. [31:32] She teaches about forgiveness and compassion for self. In the forgiveness and compassion for self, it’s being able to rewire how that brain works when the adrenaline comes up.   [33:15] There is so much reeducation that we need to be having about health.   [34:03] There is no one protocol for anybody.   [35:42] It starts with being honest with yourself about where these signs are coming from.  [38:11] We have to give ourselves space. Carve your space to give your time to really feel where things really are coming from. Let your intuition inform you.  Connect with Muneeza: Muneeza’s Website Muneeza on Instagram Muneeza on Facebook Resources: Go to https://rachelafeldman.com/events for the new challenge. How to Create Your Brand Message

Maybe you don’t know, but I was a coach too. I didn’t become a serial content creator without knowing exactly what you guys struggle with because I struggled with that too. I couldn’t find niche-specific content. I had to make my own. What I realized very early on is that I had to be extremely clear in what I did, how I went through my struggles, how I went from A to Z, and how I could take my pain and journey and turn that into a product, video series, blog or social media post, so that I could use the digital marketing space to become the international coach that I truly wanted to be.  In the last episode, we wrote down many of the struggles we had so we could begin to identify our story and start to learn how to put this into mini micro-stories and mini messages. In this episode, I am talking about the elements of storytelling and how to create your own brand messages.  In Today’s Episode: [01:28] What I realized very early on is that I had to be extremely clear in what I did, how I went through my struggles, how I went from A to Z, and how I could take my pain and journey and turn that into a product, video series, blog or social media post, so that I could use the digital marketing space to become the international coach that I truly wanted to be. [03:18] Many of us have very complex stories and that is why we feel like we have 10 niches.  It is really important to get clear on your story and on who you want to serve.    [05:38] People don’t buy products, they buy people.  [06:39] People have to know why you put your freebies and offers together, who’s it for, what are the problems you struggled with, the solutions you found and why it is essential for them to sign up for your freebies, webinar, challenge, group, or discovery call.   [07:53] Write down five people that you have helped who had similar issues. Write down the problems and solutions.    [09:01] When Rachel had no money to learn marketing, she followed people and learned from the best.   [09:23] Soap opera sequence is an essential part of storytelling.   [10:08] It is important for us to share these stories because it allows people to understand why we do it.     [11:27] Many times we get so stuck in the perfection that we don’t take time cultivating the why and who.  Be sure to include a call to action.    [12:54] The practice and messy perfection come when you start sharing your message.   [13:03] Story number two is giving them the behind the scenes and back story.   [15:10] Story three is your about me story.   [16:33] We are not a one-stop-shop.  If we were there wouldn’t be the levels of sickness we are seeing.   [17:24] Use introduction (micro-videos) for the things you want to say to people.  [18:47] What is your signature process? What has worked?  How did you do it? What is the story behind this? [20:48] We start to develop stories around our products because we know the pain and the pain turns into the product.   [21:03] If you are not converting then you are not clear on the pain, problem, desire, and promise.   [24:26] Rachel focused on attraction marketing.  She focused on letting people know how she handled all the problems in her life and with her family.   [25:44] She was very successful because she was really clear on the pain and what she wanted.  She was able to show results.
