Yet their family tradition of attending Marquette Golden Eagles basketball games spans generations. They're still supporting the school regularly—just in beer money rather than tuition fees. It happens every time they buy a Marquette Golden Ale before heading to the Fiserv Forum stands. This marks the first season since Marquette entered a partnership with Milwaukee-based Third Space Brewing to sell Marquette Golden Ale—the school's officially licensed and co-branded craft beer—at Golden Eagles sporting events, as well as in Third Space outlets and area groceries. As part of the deal, 15% of the revenues go back to Marquette. "People are extremely excited about it," said Andy Gehl, the co-founder and president of Third Space Brewing. "People love drinking beer with their favorite school, their favorite sports team's logo on it. That's No. 1. Also, they want to support businesses that support their university, and vice versa." This has become the latest fund-raising trend for college athletics. Learfield, which manages sports sponsorships for over 160 universities and licensing agreements for nearly 800 colleges, says that 93 of its schools had licensing deals for alcoholic beverages for the first six months of the current fiscal year. That's a 57.6% rise from fiscal year 2023, when 59 schools had deals for their own signature alcoholic beverage. The number of Learfield schools with licensing deals specifically with craft beers has more than doubled in that time—from 16 in 2023 to 36 this year. Cory Moss, Learfield's president of brand management and marketing, acknowledges he would have been surprised by this kind of growth four or five years ago. Then, he started noticing more interest from the schools themselves and from various local craft breweries wanting to establish partnerships. "When schools got really behind it and the craft industry really started to take it seriously, that's when it really started to grow," Moss said. It represents a major change in the college sports landscape, considering how many schools weren't even selling alcoholic beverages at their athletic events not so long ago. When you select the people who speak at something like this, you are sending a signal. The Big Tent welcomes people who think the moral law is optional.  We need to stop and say…NO we are not okay with that. Let's push hard against this. We have a pro-abortion party in the Democrats and now we have a pro-choice party. That is the two choices in my humble opinion.  States Issues -  Political King Makers - that is a whole different level of donations. The claim is that JD Vance is a creature who is a product of Theil and others. The Lesser of Two Evils - Catholics should excise this from their language. We can never do evil so that a good can come from it. You aren't supposed to pick evil ever. The principle of double effect - a choice b/w two things. The good effect to save the mothers life.  The bad effect is that the child when removed from the tubes will die. If you do nothing the child and mother will die. There is a whole other role - the moral calculous that is not the lesser of two evils, it should be called The Principle of Double Effect! Take the Win is often used to say something happened that isn't perfect but we can work with it but that labels and attitude that we can actually work with it. Returning home to Milwaukee after a thrilling Game 5 victory on the road against the Phoenix Suns, with the opportunity to earn their first NBA title in 50 years, the Milwaukee Bucks put on a show. Questo tunnel rappresenta un totale di 164 chilometri di gallerie. Ad oggi sono già stati scavati 37 chilometri, di cui 13,5 per il tunnel di base, secondo la società pubblica franco-italiana Telt, che prevede la sua entrata in servizio nel 2032. Inoltre, fondi per 64,569 milioni sono stati stanziati per co-finanziare gli studi che la Francia deve ancora avviare per determinare il percorso dei binari ferroviari tra Lione e il tunnel. L'Ue non ha previsto finanziamenti, invece, per gli studi dedicati alla tangenziale ferroviaria di Lione, che erano inclusi nella richiesta di finanziamento presentata a fine gennaio a Bruxelles.
