A Corrida do Chopp está de volta. A 2ª edição do evento, que conquistou os lauromüllenses e corredores da região, acontece no dia 15 de novembro, prometendo uma tarde de muita diversão, esporte e confraternização. A concentração, largada e chegada serão realizadas na Estação Ferroviária, no Centro de Lauro Müller. Com início previsto para as 15h, o evento contará com uma abertura oficial e, às 16h30, a  largada principal. A corrida será realizada com os atletas devidamente inscritos, independentemente das condições climáticas. Categorias • Corrida Individual Masculino e Feminino – 5 km e 10 km • Corrida Individual Participativa – 2 km As inscrições já estão abertas e podem ser feitas pelo site  www.RSFPROEVENTOS.com.br. Mais do que uma competição esportiva, a 2ª Corrida do Chopp tem como objetivo divulgar as potencialidades de Lauro Müller, impulsionar o turismo local e promover o intercâmbio cultural entre participantes e comunidade. Come January, when lawmakers sit down for the new legislative term in Olympia , there will be several new faces. More than a dozen legislators make up the new freshman class, and they’ll be facing what some have described as a ‘perfect storm’: the state is bracing for an anticipated 10 to 12 billion dollar budget gap. It’s been nearly 15 years since Washington faced a fiscal shortfall this significant. Back then, at the center of finding the cuts, and compromises, to deal with it -- was state representative and then-Speaker of the House -- Frank Chopp, of Washington’s 43rd Legislative District. But lawmakers won’t be drawing on Chopp’s negotiating expertise this time around. He announced back in March that he would not be running for reelection. Throughout his tenure in Olympia, Chopp championed new laws related to housing, homelessness, and mental health – still just as relevant today as when he was first elected, in 1994. Ontem o congresso surrou o Lula e barrou censura, saidinha e impostos. Mesmo aprovando impostos em importações com valor menor de 50 dólares, ainda não foi na porcentagem que o governo queria. Além disso, o governo não conseguiu vencer o veto 46, que evitava a censura no Brasil. Não conseguiu levar pra frente o projeto de apoio e financiamento ao MST e não conseguiu fugir do projeto da proibição das saidinhas para presos. No meio disso tudo, a Tabata Amaral, aqui de São Paulo, acompanhou o governo Lula em todas essas decisões. E ainda tem gente que dirá que ela é moderada. O Lula e o PT continuam perdendo força e apoio no congresso, e isso vai impactar nas próximas eleições municipais.
